This week’s Monday Night Raw started off with Seth Rollins coming out to an electric crowd. The entire crowd was chanting “Welcome Back!” as he stood in the middle of the ring. Rollins showed a picture of him giving a Pedigree to Roman Reigns at Extreme Rules and the crowd chanted “Thank You Rollins!” immediately after. However, the good times did not last as Seth Rollins turned back into the terrific heel he used to be before his injury. Rollins insulted the crowd and said he doesn’t need them. Roman Reigns interrupted Rollins and came down to the ring to confront him. In typical Rollins fashion, he got out of the ring just as Reigns entered. As he was walking towards the back, Shane McMahon came down to the ring. He set up the main event for WWE Money in the Bank in four weeks. It will be Roman Reigns defending his title against Seth Rollins, the man who never lost it.

Money in the Bank Qualifying Match: Sami Zayn vs Sheamus
Sheamus was dominating for most of this match, but Sami Zayn hit a Helluva Kick out of nowhere and pinned Sheamus. Sami Zayn has become the first WWE Superstar to qualify for this year’s Money in the Bank match. After losing the match, Sheamus threw a fit in the ring as JBL stated that he had nobody to blame but himself.

New Day vs Social Outcasts
Before the match, the New Day brought out a gigantic cake for the 1200th episode of Monday Night Raw. The Social Outcasts ruined the party and attacked the New Day from behind. The Social Outcasts’ momentum didn’t last long as the New Day quickly disposed of them for the victory. After the match, the New Day got revenge on the Social Outcasts as they sent Heath Slater smashing through the cake.

Money in the Bank Qualifying Match: The Miz vs Cesaro
This match started out with Cesaro hitting some hellacious upper-cuts on the Miz. However, the Miz fought back and got the upper-hand in the match. The Miz focused most of his attacks on Cesaro’s injured shoulder, which an effect on Cesaro later in the match when he couldn’t swing the Miz more than four times. However, Cesaro was still able to get the victory over the Miz after hitting the Gotch Neutralizer. Cesaro now joins Sami Zayn in the Money in the Bank ladder match in four weeks.
Seth Rollins is being interviewed by Renee Young backstage when Stephanie McMahon shows up. Stephanie informs Rollins that things have changed in the WWE and that they cannot continue the same business relationship they had when it was only the Authority in power. Stephanie shakes Rollins’ hand and walks away as Rollins looks disgruntled.

Money in the Bank Qualifying Match: Apollo Crews vs Chris Jericho
Apollo Crews was targeting Jericho’s bandaged back due to being slammed on a pile of thumbtacks last night at Extreme Rules. Sheamus is shown backstage angrily watching the match on a monitor. Apollo Crews was locked in the Walls of Jericho but was able to power his way to the ropes to break the hold. However, it was Jericho who was victorious after he hit the Code Breaker on Crews, Chris Jericho joins Sami Zayn and Cesaro in the Money in the Bank ladder match. Renee Young catches up with Sheamus and asks for his reaction to Crews losing to Jericho. Sheamus laughed maniacally and walked away.
Chris Jericho advances!! Good match. Crews is protected via the backstage attack, and has a feud waiting with Sheamus. Solid booking. #Raw

Big Cass vs Bubba Ray Dudley w/ D-Von and Enzo at Ringside
Big Cass was dominating early in this match, but got distracted when D-Von attacked Enzo from behind. This led to Bubba Ray controlling the matchup for a brief period of time. Towards the end of the match, Big Cass launched Enzo onto D-Von outside the ring. Big Cass wound up getting the victory after hitting the Empire Elbow on Bubba Ray Dudley.

Ric Flair, Charlotte and Dana Brooke all come down to the ring. Ric Flair opines about what a terrific daughter he has and how proud he is of her. Dana Brooke thanks Charlotte for the privilege of standing in the ring with Ric Flair. The crowd began to boo and Charlotte chastised the crowd which generated an even louder boo from the hostile crowd. The crowd then turned to the classic “What?!” chant, that got under Charlotte’s skin. What happened next was a terrific promo by Charlotte in my opinion. She told Ric Flair to hit the road and proceeded to scold him in the middle of the ring. Charlotte told Ric that he can watch her on TV like she watched him for the past 30 years. Ric Flair had tears in his eyes as he slowly walked backstage. Charlotte was soundly booed in one of the more memorable promos I’ve seen in some time.

Money in the Bank Qualifying Match: Dean Ambrose vs Dolph Ziggler
This was a good match that ended as you would expect. Dean Ambrose hit the Dirty Deeds on Ziggler and joins Zayn, Jericho and Cesaro in the Money in the Bank match.
Money in the Bank Qualifying Match: Kevin Owens vs AJ Styles
Before the match, AJ Styles praises Roman Reigns but states that Gallows and Anderson and the Usos cost him the match last night at Extreme Rules. Gallows and Anderson come out and confront AJ Styles and as expected, they will no longer have Styles’ back. The Bullet Club reunion in the WWE was short lived. Early in the match, Kevin Owens got AJ Styles in a headlock and shouted “Headlock Master!”. Owens also sprinted towards the ropes as if he was going to launch himself outside the ring onto AJ Styles, only to casually roll under the ropes and Clothesline Styles. This drew a laugh out of the crowd.

Styles and Owens had a terrific match, which turned when Kevin Owens hit a Pop-Up Powerbomb on Styles outside the ring onto the steel steps. Shortly after that, Owens hit another Pop-Up Powerbomb on AJ in the middle of the ring and pinned him. Owens now joins Zayn, Cesaro, Jericho and Dean Ambrose in the Money in the Bank ladder match in four weeks.
Kevin Owens beats AJ Styles clean….. Wow. #RAW
