This week’s RAW started off with a moment of silence for the tragedy that took place in Orlando over the weekend.

The New Day came out and before they could even get into their promo, Xavier Woods pointed out that Kofi Kingston was wearing Steph Curry’s ridiculed shoes. Enzo and Cass interrupted the New Day and said that they will taking the New Day’s titles at Money in the Bank this Sunday. Big Cass once again insulted Kofi’s shoes and Enzo claimed that he had his lips all over Francesca (Xavier Woods’ trombone) last night. Xavier Woods countered with “I’m the only one who blows my girl!”, in reference to his beloved trombone. The Vaudevillians interrupted and started singing that they will become the new Tag Team Champions this Sunday. Gallows and Anderson interrupt the Vaudevillians terrible singing and said that they will become the champs at Money in the Bank.
Enzo & Cass and the New Day vs Gallows & Anderson and the Vaudevillians
Xavier Woods was on the outside of the ring playing his trombone throughout the match. The New Day were dominating early but once Enzo Amore was tagged in the momentum turned. The Vaudevillians stopped Amore every time he desperately tried for a tag. Eventually, Enzo tagged in Big Cass and he cleaned house like usual. Kofi Kingston was tagged in and he was flying all around the ring with his Steph Curry shoes. However, it was Kofi Kingston who wound up getting pinned by Gallows and Anderson.
Reaction: The opening promo was extremely corny but humorous. It is about as funny as a promo in a PG product can be, unfortunately. The match itself was very entertaining, Kofi Kingston leaping onto the Vaudevillians outside of the ring was the highlight. It is nice to see Gallows and Anderson actually winning matches, rather than pointlessly losing them to the Usos.
Magic Killer! Gallows and Anderson win! #8ManTag #RAW

Shane and Stephanie McMahon are backstage when Kane interrupts. Kane offers Stephanie and Shane his resume and a letter of recommendation penned by the Undertaker. Needless to say, Kane will not be running Smackdown or RAW in the near future.
Zack Ryder and Sheamus have a confrontation backstage and Sheamus has another meltdown about Apollo Crews attacking him. It is revealed that Ryder and Sheamus will have match tonight.
Another make Darren Young great again promo is shown, followed by yet another Shining Stars promo. Apparently, they have nice beaches in Puerto Rico and that is supposed to enrage me for some reason.
Reaction: Nothing like a massive block of promos to pass the time.
Titus O’Neil’s music hits and as he is walking to the ring, Rusev attacks him from behind. Rusev beat down Titus and then locked in the Accolade on the entrance ramp. Their were a half dozen referees trying to break the hold but Rusev wouldn’t let go. Rusev finally let go and proceeded to taunt Titus O’Neil with the United States Championship. Rusev will be defending his title against Titus this Sunday at Money in the Bank.

Ambrose Asylum with Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns
Seth Rollins believes that the only reason that Roman Reigns is champion is because he got injured. Rollins claimed that Reigns cannot beat him because he is simply better than Roman. Reigns responded with that after Money in the Bank, people won’t be calling him “the Guy” because he is the champion, they will be calling him that because he defeated Seth Rollins. Dean Ambrose interjected and threw it out there that maybe he will walk out of Money in the Bank as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion if he wins the ladder match and cashes in on the same night. Rollins then shoved Ambrose into Reigns, who then hit Rollins with a Superman Punch. As Reigns was standing over Rollins, Ambrose turned him around and hit the Dirty Deeds on Roman Reigns.
Reaction: I could barely hear what Roman Reigns was saying because he was speaking so softly into the microphone, but aside from that this was still a good segment. Dean Ambrose laying out Roman Reigns was surprising.
Roman's promo wasn't bad, he just needs to speak up on the damn mic! #wwe #raw

Charlotte vs Paige
This was an extremely quick match with Paige getting the win because Dana Brooke threw Charlotte back into the ring and Paige took advantage, hitting the RamPaige. After the match, Charlotte was visibly annoyed with Dana Brooke. Backstage, Charlotte informed Dana Brooke that they have some work to do before their tag team match on Sunday.
Ok that's twice now that @RealPaigeWWE has pinned Charlotte. Where's her title shot? #Raw

Sheamus vs Zack Ryder
Zack Ryder got in about 3 seconds of offense before he was Brogue Kicked out of the building and pinned. After the match, Sheamus started punching Ryder when Apollo Crews came down and made the save. Crews knocked Sheamus out of the ring and then launched himself onto him. Sheamus was startled and ran away through the crowd.
Reaction: Apollo Crews came out of this looking like a million bucks, hopefully he has a good showing against Sheamus at Money in the Bank and picks up the victory.
Kevin Owens is backstage with Kane and Shane McMahon. Owens apparently called airport security and caused a delay for Alberto Del Rio in getting to the arena. Del Rio was furious about this and confronted Owens. Kane stepped in and made a tag team match with Owens and Del Rio facing off against the Lucha Dragons. If the Lucha Dragons win the match, they replace Owens and Del Rio in the Money in the Bank ladder match.
Sami Zayn vs Cesaro
This was a great back and forth match. It is pretty much impossible for a match between Zayn and Cesaro to be boring. After losing to Del Rio last week, Zayn picked up a much needed victory over Cesaro and is heading into Money in the Bank with some momentum.

Contract Signing with John Cena & AJ Styles
John Cena came down to the ring and spoke glowingly about AJ Styles and his accomplishments outside of the WWE. AJ Styles interrupted and mocked John Cena. Styles proceeded to ask where does he sign and Cena presented him with two contracts. One contract was labeled John Cena vs AJ Styles w/the Club. The other one was labeled John Cena vs AJ Styles. If Styles chose to sign the contract with the Club on it, the Club would be at ringside for the match at Money in the Bank. Cena challenged Styles’ to sign the contract that didn’t call for the Club to be at ringside so at Money in the Bank the WWE Universe would find out who the better man was. Styles signed the contract that will keep the Club from being at ringside and claimed that he doesn’t need any help to beat John Cena.
Reaction: This feud is the most interesting one going in the WWE right now in my opinion. Even though Styles signed the contract without the Club, I wouldn’t be surprised if the Club had an impact on the match Sunday night. This feud is destined to last more than one PPV, so it seems likely that some kind of shenanigans will go down at Money in the Bank.
John Cena vs. AJ Styles has a big fight feel. It's going to be electric at Money in the Bank. #WWE #Raw

Lucha Dragons vs Kevin Owens & Alberto Del Rio
Right from the jump, Owens and Del Rio were arguing. They simply could not get on the same page throughout the entire match and it cost them several times. However, it did not cost them in the end as Kevin Owens hit the Pop-Up Powerbomb on Sin Cara for the victory. After the match, Del Rio showed his gratitude to Kevin Owens kicking him in the face.
Reaction: There was no way that Kevin Owens and Del Rio were going to lose this match. However, Owens shouting “why do I have to do everything?” at Del Rio as he struggled in the ring was very funny. Owens absolutely deserved to be booted in the face by Del Rio after the match.

Kevin Owens was backstage with Stephanie McMahon where he informed her that Sami Zayn will be a guest on commentary for the main event featuring Chris Jericho and Dean Ambrose. Owens demanded that he join Sami Zayn on commentary and Stephanie agreed. Del Rio then demanded to be on commentary as well, but Stephanie made him the guest time-keeper for the main event. Stephanie McMahon is starting to disagree with Shane’s decisions as GM, which only means that power struggle will be a huge storyline going forward.
Chris Jericho vs Dean Ambrose
Cesaro was appointed the guest ring announcer for the match and announced that Jericho now resides in “Stupid-idiot-ville” and that Dean Ambrose looked like he just rolled out of bed. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn were bickering throughout the match on commentary. Zayn mistakenly referred to Ambrose and Jericho as “world clath athletes” instead of “world class athletes” and Owens mocked him for it. Jericho was able to lock the Walls of Jericho in on Ambrose but Ambrose was able to get to the ropes. Jericho went for the Codebreaker on Ambrose, but Ambrose revered it into the Dirty Deeds for the victory.
After the match, a brawl ensued with all six Superstars in the Money in the Bank ladder match on Sunday. Sami Zayn flipped onto everyone besides Chris Jericho outside the ring. RAW ended with Jericho setting up a ladder in the middle of the ring and grabbing the briefcase.
Reaction: This week’s episode of RAW was a mixed bag. It bored me to tears at times, but also got me excited for Money in the Bank this Sunday.
I can see it now! @IAmJericho giving all the fans The Gift of Jericho while holding the #MITB briefcase!
