After two weeks of waiting, WWE NXT on the USA Network for a full two-hours is here. Thus, it’s time to look ahead starting with tonight’s episode of NXT.
WWE is stacking this show and for good reason, as it marks the first battle in the war with AEW (All Elite Wrestling). NXT will be going head-to-head in the same time slot as AEW Dynamite on the TNT network.
The company is building up this show as if it were an NXT TakeOver special as there are three title matches.
In the likely main event, NXT Champion Adam Cole defends his title against Matt Riddle.
WWE holds this show in Winter Park, Florida at Full Sail University. WWE is advertising the following items for tonight’s broadcast:

- Candice LeRae vs. NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler
- Street Profits vs. NXT Tag Team Champions Undisputed ERA
- Johnny Gargano goes one-on-one with Shane Thorne
- The Velveteen Dream Experience comes to USA Network
WWE will also be creating new programs and building on the hype for existing feuds.
As usual, fans should expect more matches and segments to be revealed this afternoon for NXT.
