WWE has a lot of plans in store for the December 11th episode of RAW. CM Punk will be in the house, where he will declare his new brand home. It turns out that WWE will have an NXT Superstar around in case they need him as well.
PW Insider reports that Von Wagner is expected to be at WWE RAW this week. It was not noted that he is slated to appear on the red brand’s show this week, but he is expected to be in Cleveland for the show.
It was noted that Von Wagner is likely there to work tonight’s Main Event. He was drafted as a free agent during the 2023 WWE Draft. So, he could appear on any brand they want to use him on.
What this means for Von Wagner in WWE
Von Wagner hasn’t been seen on WWE NXT television since his program with Bron Breakker concluded. Wagner made a big return after a fractured skull angle, but he lost twice to Breakker. He has worked NXT live events since then, and defeated Luca Crusifino on NXT Level up, as well as beating Joe Coffey on Main Event in late November.
WWE will often bring in NXT Superstars for Main Event tapings. It’s no big deal for that to happen, as it also gives them a chance to get a good look at talent.
We already reported that CM Punk’s RAW return sparked a huge influx in ticket sales. A lot of fans are going to pack the Rocket Mortgage Field House, Cleveland, Ohio for this week’s show.
