The main event has been revealed WWE for the next WWE NXT UK special.
WWE held a set of NXT UK TV tapings on Friday in Plymouth, England at the Plymouth Pavilions. This is where it was revealed that WALTER will defend the NXT UK Title against Tyler Bate at the upcoming NXT UK TakeOver: Cardiff event. This will serve as the headliner.

WALTER captured the NXT UK Title when he dethroned Pete Dune at the NXT TakeOver: New York event from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York in April during WrestleMania 35 weekend.
NXT UK Women’s Champion Toni Storm will make her next title defense against Kay Lee Ray at this show as WWE has officially announced this contest, which is the only match announced thus far.
NXT UK TakeOver: Cardiff will take place on Saturday, August 31 and air live on the WWE Network at 3pm ET from Cardiff, Wales. The rest of the card will be announced over the next few weeks leading up to the show, which has been sold out.
The first NXT UK Takeover event took place back on January 12 from Blackpool, England.
