WWE Offers Former Talent Financial Planning, Debt Assistance, Scholarships

17

WWE’s Talent Relations department has announced several new programs to help former wrestlers and referees with their finances.

WWE is now offering financial planning and debt assistance services through a financial firm, free of charge. Anyone who was ever under contract to WWE is eligible.

The company is also offering a $5,000-per-semester scholarship to any former contracted talents who are looking to further their college education.

Talents must enroll by August 1st to be eligible for the fall 2014 semester scholarship and must provide proof of enrollment to WWE.

These new initiatives, combined with the company’s long-standing program of financing substance abuse rehabilitation programs for former talents in need, demonstrate WWE’s continued commitment to the health and wellbeing of pro wrestlers.
