WWE RAW Preview: John Cena, Jerry Lawler Returns, Jim Ross Calls The Action

Tonight’s WWE RAW will take place from the Times Union Center in Albany, New York.

Just days after undergoing elbow surgery, John Cena will be at RAW to update fans on his status. With expected to be out for 4-6 weeks, it’s possible he won’t be able to wrestle WWE Champion CM Punk at next month’s Hell in a Cell pay-per-view and a replacement will have to be determined.

Jerry “The King” Lawler returns to RAW just two weeks after suffering a heart attack to address the WWE Universe. Lawler will be interviewed via satellite from his home in Memphis, Tennessee.

Illusionist “Mindfreak” Criss Angel will serve as tonight’s Social Media Ambassador and will be tweeting during the show.

WWE.com is also teasing the following for tonight:

* The Prime Time Players continuing their quest for tag team gold.

* The latest from Tag Team Champions Kane and Daniel Bryan.

* Will Ryback keep his sights set on Intercontinental champion The Miz?

* Will the referee from last week’s main event have hell to pay when he’s in the ring with CM Punk and Paul Heyman?

The advertised dark match main event is John Cena vs. CM Punk, but with Cena out of action through late October, Big Show could replace Cena, as he did over the weekend at WWE live events.
