WWE RAW Opener:
This week’s show, which takes place from Everett, Washington, kicks off with WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins’ music hitting.
Rollins, by himself, makes his way down to the ring with a microphone. Rollins brags for a few minutes about “breaking the face of the man who runs the place,” before mocking John Cena with his own “You Can’t See Knee” gesture, relpacing “Me” with “Knee,” of course.
From there, the WWE World Heavyweight Champion goes on to mention that he would understand if Cena wanted to forefit his title vs. title “Winner Take All” match at the upcoming WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view on August 23rd. He does say, however, that if Cena doesn’t show up, then Rollins wins by default and adds the WWE United States Championship to his growing collection of gold belts.
Rollins then goes on to talk about a rumor he heard regarding Cena being scheduled to show up at this week’s edition of WWE Tough Enough, which airs tomorrow night on the USA Network. Rollins then mocks Cena for being “Tough Enough” to show up to the “Tough Enough” reality show, but points out his belief that Cena isn’t “Tough Enough” to face Seth Rollins.
As Rollins continues to ramble on at the mouth, finally, Cesaro interrupts him. “The King of Swing” makes his way to the ring with a mic talking about how Rollins goes “on and on and on and on and on” (he literally said it that many times, possibly more).
Cesaro enters the ring and talks about open challenges. Rollins says he never said anything about an open challenge and then asks Cesaro what he has ever done to earn a shot at his WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
From there, Kevin Owens’ music hits and he too makes his way down to the ring with a mic in hand. Owens brings up the fans, who he calls an idiot, for handing out thousands of “Cesaro Section” signs. He says that’s not enough to earn a title match.
Owens says he, on the other hand, has beaten John Cena. He says if anyone deserves a shot at the title, it’s him. The announcers then talk amongst themselves about who is the most deserving challenger to Rollins’ title.
Just when you thought enough people ran in for this RAW opening segment, out comes Randy Orton. “The Viper” makes his way to the ring with a mic in hand, making jokes, one-by-one, about each person standing in the ring. Orton basically demands a title shot like the others did as well.
Rollins goes on to claim that no one in the ring has the authority to determine who — if anyone — gets to challenge him for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
With that said, “King of Kings” plays and out comes Triple H. He makes a triple-threat match for tonight between Kevin Owens, Randy Orton and Cesaro, where the winner will be the man to earn the right to a WWE World Heavyweight Championship. On that note, we head to a commercial break.
Team B.A.D. vs. Team Bella
After the commercial break, we see that Paige, Becky Lynch and Charlotte have joined the gang on commentary for this six-Diva tag-team match, featuring all three members of Team B.A.D. — Sasha Banks, Naomi and Tamina, taking on all three members of Team Bella — Nikki Bella, Brie Bella and Alicia Fox.
Early on, the trio of Banks, Naomi and Tamina are having their way with Team Bella, taking turns dominating whomever the legal Diva in the match is.
Finally, Nikki Bella, the legal member of her team, starts to mount some offense, just as we head to a mid-match commercial break.
We’re back from the commercial and the first thing we see is Banks in control of Nikki in the ring. Finally, a big melee breaks loose with all of the Divas getting involved. When the smoke clears and the dust settles, Brie ducks a super kick attempt from Tamina and rolls her up. 1-2-3. Team Bella picks up the victory.
Winners: Team Bella
