WWE RAW

Monday’s edition of WWE RAW averaged 2.058 million viewers, which is down from 2.135 million viewers the previous week.

This was the lowest-rated episode of RAW for the year. Here is the hourly viewership breakdown, courtesy of ShowbuzzDaily:

  • Hour 1: 2.358 million – Last Week: 2.351
  • Hour 2: 2.063 million – Last Week: 2.207
  • Hour 3: 1.753 million – Last Week: 1.849

The episode was expected to drop slightly in viewership from last week due to it being on a three-day tape delay. In the 18-49 demos, the first hour did 0.75 while the second hour had 0.66 and 0.52 in the final hour.

For comparison, the same RAW episode last year drew 2.761 million viewers for hour one, 2.446 in the second hour, and 2.142 in the third hour.

The biggest competition that WWE RAW faced came in the way of an NFL regular-season game between the Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers that aired on ESPN did 15,978 million viewers.

Some of the matches that took place include WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Asuka and Kairi Sane vs. RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair, Drew McIntyre vs. Sin Cara, Andrade vs. Cedric Alexander, and Randy Orton, Ricochet & Humberto Carrillo vs. The OC.

The show also featured segment where Lana claimed to be pregnant with Rusev’s baby only to have Bobby Lashley attack him. This was a heavily criticized angle.

WWE will attempt to increase its viewership for RAW next week. In case you missed the show, you can check out the four takeaways here.
