WWE RAW Viewership Increases For Post-Royal Rumble Episode

Monday’s edition of WWE RAW from in Phoenix, AZ at the Talking Stick Resort Arena averaged 2.703 million viewers, up from 2.462 million the previous week. Here is the hourly viewership breakdown, courtesy of ShowbuzzDaily:

  • 8 pm – 2.816 million
  • 9 pm – 2.718 million
  • 10 pm – 2.575 million

The episode was expected to draw better viewership as WWE loaded up the show and it was the post-Royal Rumble episode of the red brand. This episode finished fifth for the night in total viewers on cable.

Some of the matches that took place include Seth Rollins vs. Dean Ambrose, Nia Jax & Tamina vs. Alexa Bliss & Mickie James, Baron Corbin vs. Kurt Angle, The Riott Squad (Liv Morgan & Sarah Logan) (w/Ruby Riott) vs. Dana Brooke & Natalya, WWE RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey vs. Bayley, and Braun Strowman vs. Drew McIntyre serving as the main event.

WWE also hyped the fallout from Royal Rumble, the Elimination Chamber PPV and the matches taking place at that show. WWE will attempt to keep up this momentum with its viewership for RAW next week. In case you missed the show, you can check out the seven takeaways here.
