Monday’s edition of WWE RAW from Los Angeles, CA at the Staples Center averaged 2.235 million viewers, up from 2.125 million the previous week.
This show served as the go-home show episode of RAW for the Stomping Grounds pay-per-view event. Here is the hourly viewership breakdown, courtesy of ShowbuzzDaily:
- Hour 1: 2.325 million
- Hour 2: 2.303 million
- Hour 3: 2.078 million
The episode was expected to increase in viewership as this show had no big competition as the NBA finals have wrapped up. For comparison, the same episode last year drew 3.001 million viewers for hour one, 2.975 in the second hour, and in 2.734 the third hour.
Some of the matches that took place include Ricochet won a WWE United States Title #1 Contendership Fatal Five Way Elimination Match, The New Day (Big E, Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) vs. Baron Corbin, Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn, The Usos (Jey Uso & Jimmy Uso) vs. Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows, The IIconics (Billie Kay & Peyton Royce) vs. Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross, and Seth Rollins vs. Daniel Bryan in a non-title match that served as the main event.
WWE will attempt to increase with its viewership for RAW next week. In case you missed the show, you can check out the eight takeaways here.
