WWE RAW Viewership Suffers Drop For Memorial Day Episode

WWE RAW

Monday’s edition of WWE RAW from Kansas City, MO at the Sprint Center averaged 2.190 million viewers, down from 2.521 million the previous week, which served as the post-Money In The Bank episode of the red branded show.

This breaks the streak of three consecutive weeks that viewership was up. Here is the hourly viewership breakdown, courtesy of ShowbuzzDaily:

  • Hour 1: 2.265million
  • Hour 2: 2.254 million
  • Hour 3: 2.051 million

The show was down about 300,000 viewers from the same episode last year. RAW featured an opening segment with Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman where they teased cashing in the Money in the Bank briefcase.

Some of the matches that took place include Shane McMahon vs. Lance Anoa’i, Becky Lynch & Nikki Cross vs. The IIconics, Ricochet vs. Cesaro, Baron Corbin vs. Bobby Lashley and Braun Strowman and The Miz in a #1 Contendership Fatal Four Way Match, and Seth Rollins vs. Sami Zayn in the main event.

The episode was expected to increase in viewership as this show was heavily hyped. WWE will attempt to increase with its viewership for RAW next week. In case you missed the show, you can check out the six takeaways here.
