WWE Releases: Staggering Tally For 2021

WWE is having an extremely profitable year thanks to lucrative television contracts and the longterm deal with Saudi Arabia. Despite more money rolling in than ever, the company has been firing wrestlers at a pace that has been difficult to keep up with.

Adding insult to injury, the company has been the party line that “budget cuts” are to blame. Former Champions, main eventers, announcers, referees and legends have all been let go. Some have found opportunities elsewhere, while others have yet to resurface in the wrestling business.

We’ve compiled a list of the wrestlers released by WWE in 2021. Sadly, this list has been updated many times. The running tally currently stands at over 80 people.
