WWE has released another announcer. The company officially released Alex Reyes from his contract this week. Reyes was hired back in October and worked in NXT as a backstage announcer, host at live events, and assisted with promos at the WWE Performance Center. Reyes, real name Alex Del Barrio, removed references to WWE in his Twitter biography immediately after his release.
Before working for WWE, Reyes worked for The Harlem Globetrotters and for Booker T’s wrestling promotion in Houston.
Announcers Rich Brennan and Kyle Edwards were also recently released by the company.
