As previously reported, WWE revealed their 2014 first-quarter financials earlier today. As part of the earnings report, the company released specific pay-per-view buy numbers for their recent Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber shows.
The 2014 WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view scored 467,000 buys, which was down from the 512,000 buys that the show drew in 2013. It was, however, up from the 443,000 buys that they drew in 2012, 446,000 buys in 2011 and 462,000 buys in 2010.
The 2014 WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view scored 183,000 buys, down from the 213,000 buys that the show drew in 2013. The same event drew 178,000 buys in 2012, 199,000 buys in 2011 and 285,000 buys in 2010.
