Wyatt turned around and blocked the Clothesline. Kane then knocked Wyatt out of the ring and Bray walked away to look for Orton. The referee counted to ten and Bray Wyatt was counted out.

Reaction: The first hour of Smackdown was decent. For some reason, Smackdown just seem to flow better than Monday Night Raw. There aren’t any overly long promos and everything feels compact. It will be interesting to see if Wyatt and break out of the room and track down Orton again.

Miz TV Featuring Dolph Ziggler

The Miz introduced Ziggler and stated that it might be his final appearance on Smackdown. The Miz then played a bunch of video highlights that made Ziggler look foolish. Some of the highlights included Ziggler in the Spirit Squad and Hugh Jackman punching him in the face. The segment ended with an announcer stating that on Sunday, Ziggler will be saying goodbye to a career that never was.

The Spirit Squad then attacked Ziggler from behind and The Miz cheered them on from the entrance ramp. Ziggler battled back and hit both members of the Spirit Squad with a Superkick. The Miz then retreated as Ziggler stood tall in the ring.

Reaction: The video package shown in this segment was hilarious. I still have no clue if Ziggler’s career will actually come to an end at No Mercy and that is a good thing. Even though we have seen The Miz versus Ziggler a thousand times, this storyline has been very well done. It has been a long time since an Intercontinental Championship has felt as important as the one that will be taking place Sunday night at No Mercy.

Nikki Bella versus Carmella was made official for No Mercy this Sunday.

Jey Uso vs Jason Jordan

This was a very quick match. Jason got the victory via a roll-up. After the match, The Usos attacked Jordan. They tried to take out Jordan’s knee in the same way they took out Gable’s knee. Ambrose once again brought up the low blow that Styles hit him with. Ambrose went on to state that Cena should be thankful that Ambrose brought the WWE World Championship to Smackdown. Styles claimed that he shouldn’t even be worrying about the title record and should be focused on AJ Styles. Cena went to respond but Ambrose interrupted him this time. Reaction: Smackdown continues to be better than Raw. Dean Ambrose cut a really good promo tonight and had a counter to everything Cena said about him last week on Talking Smack. No Mercy is shaping up to be a really good show and I’m looking forward to it.
