Smackdown Live!

Tuesday’s edition of WWE SmackDown Live from Dayton, OH at the Nutter Center averaged 2.198 million viewers, up from 2.155 million the previous week, according to ShowbuzzDaily.

The show had to go up against Curse of Oak Island on History that did 3.464 million viewers, Rachel Maddow Show with 2.859, and Project Blue Book that drew 1.548. This served as the post-show episode of the blue branded for Sunday’s Fastlane pay-per-view event.

Matches that took place on this show include Aleister Black, Ricochet & The Hardy Boyz (Jeff Hardy & Matt Hardy) vs. Rusev, Shinsuke Nakamura & The Bar (Cesaro & Sheamus) in an eight-man tag team match, Asuka vs. Sonya Deville in a non-title match, R-Truth & Rey Mysterio vs. Andrade & Samoa Joe, Daniel Bryan & Rowan vs. Kevin Owens & Mustafa Ali in the headliner.

The show also featured Shane McMahon setting up his WrestleMania 35 match against The Miz, an in-ring promo between Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch as well as Vince McMahon making an appearance in the final segment.

WWE hyped Fastlane and the matches taking place at that show. In case you missed the show, you can check out the 5 takeaways from it here.

WWE will attempt to rebound with next week’s episode, which should be interesting to see what number it pulls in.
