WWE Stomping Grounds PPV Announced

WWE Stomping Grounds replacing Backlash in June

WWE Stomping Grounds is a new pay-per-view event taking place on Sunday, June 23rd from Tacoma, Washington.

Earlier this month, we found out that Backlash was removed from WWE’s calendar. At first, it seemed Backlash was canceled due to its proximity to WWE’s return to Saudi Arabia on June 7th. With the announcement of WWE Stomping grounds, the company has two big shows scheduled that month once again.

WWE’s next pay-per-view, Money in the Bank, takes place in less than three weeks on May 19th. After MITB, the hype will begin for the Saudi Arabia show and Stomping Grounds.

A full schedule of WWE’s 2019 PPV calendar is listed below.

The Tacoma Dome website is advertising Roman Reigns vs. Randy Orton for the event, as well as WWE Champion Kofi Kingston, Universal Champion Seth Rollins plus many more. As always, remember ‘card subject to change’ with that Reigns vs. Orton bout.

Tickets for WWE Stomping Grounds go on sale this Friday, May 3rd at the arena box office and Ticketmaster.com.
