WWE Super Show-Down: Australia Stadium Show Announced (10/6)

WWE Super ShowDown

The long-rumored WWE stadium show from Australia has been officially announced. WWE will present Superstar Show-Down from the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Saturday, October 6th. The stadium has an official capacity of 100,024.

WWE Super Show-Down will air live on the WWE Network, similar to the Greatest Royal Rumble from Saudi Arabia earlier this year. Air times in WWE’s major markets include:

  • 9am BST (UK)
  • 10am CEST (Mainland Europe)
  • 4am US EST (East Coast US)
  • 3am US CT (Central US)
  • 2am US MT (Mountain US)
  • 1am US PST (West Coast US)

The event is set to feature superstars from both Raw and Smackdown. Big names that are set to appear are John Cena, Ronda Rousey, Shane McMahon, WWE Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels, Randy Orton (expected back in action by then from his knee surgery), WWE Raw Women’s Champion Nia Jax, WWE Champion AJ Styles, Charlotte Flair, Daniel Bryan, The Miz, Sasha Banks, Alexa Bliss, Big Show, Bray Wyatt, and Australian stars Billie Kay and Peyton Royce, The Iconics.

It’s interesting to note that Shawn Michaels is listed to appear as the recent news is that he is willing to wrestle one more match. More on that here.

Triple H & Undertaker’s Final Showdown

Already announced is the “last-ever” match between The Undertaker and Triple H, which would be their first match since 2012’s Wrestlemania 28 in Miami, Florida, where Undertaker defeated Triple H in a Hell In A Cell bout that was billed as the “End of an Era”, closing out their trilogy of Mania bouts.

This will be Undertaker’s fourth match of the year as he normally wrestles once a year. The first being Wrestlemania 34 against John Cena. His second match was at the Greatest Royal Rumble in a casket match against Rusev with Aiden English. His third wrestling appearance is set for Madison Square Garden. More on that here.
