WWE sent out a survey on Wednesday to gauge fan interest on a possible “premium tier” for the WWE Network and new programming options.
The idea of a tiered structure for the WWE Network has been considered for quite some time and the company is once again inquiring about whether or not WWE fans would pay for content from rival promotions.
Among the new programming options proposed are:
- Historic and new programming from Impact Wrestling, Ring of Honor, New Japan Pro Wrestling, ECW, PROGRESS, ICW and more.
- Original scripted comedies like Southpaw Regional Wrestling and a WWE version of “The Office”
- Audio channel, featuring podcasts and “Sports radio” style call-in shows
- Streaming of select WWE live events / house shows
- Tournaments such as WWE vs. NXT, Lucha libre, tag teams and King/Queen of the Ring
Here’s a screenshot of the survey (click to enlarge) – hit up the comments section and tell us which of these options you’d pay extra for on the WWE Network.
