WWE announced Monday morning that Sin Cara has been suspended for 30 days due to a Wellness Policy violation.
As seen on Sunday’s Money in the Bank pay-per-view, Sin Cara was temporarily written out of WWE storylines – taking a brutal powerbomb through a ladder during the SmackDown Money in the Bank match and getting stretchered out of the arena.
The official statement from the WWE website reads:
Sin Cara suspended
STAMFORD, Conn. – In accordance with its Talent Wellness Program, WWE has suspended Luis Ignascio Urive Alvirde (Sin Cara) for 30 days for his first violation of the company’s policy.
