Germany’s top promotion wXw has announced the teams for World Tag Team League 2018. The event will be running from October 5th-7th from Turbinenhalle 2 in Oberhausen.
The two ‘Group’ based tournament will feature some of the top performers on the International independent scene. This includes some WWE affiliated talents, PROGRESS Champions and Lucha Underground stars.
Here’s the full line-up:
Group A
- Lucha Bros – Fenix and Penta El Zero
- CCK – Chris Brookes & Jon Gresham
- Team Okami
- Ringkampf – WALTER & Timothy Thatcher
Group B
- Aussie Open – Kyle Fletcher & Mark Davis
- Jay FK
- Monster Consulting
- Team SPLX – Angelico & Jeff Cobb
wXw have been pushing more into the European scene with their annual 16 Carat Gold tournament. Other promotions are taking notice and the wXw Unified World Champion Ilja Dragunov will be challenging WWE United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne as part of the PROGRESS Wembley show on September 30th.
