ROH presented their final pay-per-view event, Final Battle, of the year on Friday night (December 18, 2020) from the UMBC Event Center in Baltimore, Maryland.Â
The main event saw ROH World Champion Rush vs. Brody King. After a back and forth encounter, Rush emerged victoriously. Â
ROH TV Champion Dragon Lee vs. Tony Deppen took place on the show with Lee retaining the title. Deppen beat LSG, Josh Woods, and Dak Draper earlier in the night to earn a shot at the ROH TV Title.
ROH Tag Team Champions Jay Lethal & Jonathan Gresham vs. Mark Briscoe & PCO, which featured the champions going over while ROH Pure Champion Jonathan Gresham vs. Flip Gordon ended by count-out, but Gresham retained the title.Â
Rush’s current deal with ROH is set to expire at the end of this year while Dragon Lee has interest from other promotions. Ring of Honor Chief Operating Officer Joe Koff told PWinsider.com earlier this week that “conversations are ongoing” with both Rush and Lee about their future in ROH in 2021 and beyond.
