The Miz and John Morrison kicked off RAW with an episode of Miz TV. The Miz welcomed himself back and apologized for the zombie Lumberjack match at WrestleMania Backlash. The Miz noted that he was injured during that match but had to return to RAW because WWE is getting ready to go back on the road and he knows the fans want to see him live in person.

Charlotte Flair made her way to the ring and smelled something in the air. Morrison said that he was wearing garlic to help protect them from the zombies. Charlotte pretended to laugh at their jokes before calling them idiots. Flair vowed to send Rhea Ripley to hell and take the RAW Women’s Championship at the PPV.

RAW Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley interrupted and said that Charlotte can go to hell. Ripley said she was going to beat Flair at Hell in a Cell and Charlotte joked that the champion couldn’t even defeat Nikki Cross last week. Nikki Cross’ theme hit and she apologized for interrupting.

Nikki said she defeated the champ last week and that it would be fair if she faced the winner of the Charlotte vs. Rhea match. Charlotte stated that if life was fair, she would be the RAW Women’s Champion right now. Charlotte then claimed that she could beat Nikki in a minute as RAW went to a break.

When RAW returned, Flair faced Nikki in a Beat the Clock challenge with two minutes on the clock. Nikki rolled out of the ring right away and mocked Flair. Nikki then hid behind Ripley until Charlotte finally caught up to her with thirty seconds left. Charlotte couldn’t get the Figure Four locked in and the time expired.

Orton def. Xavier Woods

Xavier Woods squared off against Randy Orton tonight on RAW. Before the match, Orton brought up Riddle using the RKO and Riddle apologized. Riddle said he didn’t know what came over him and he just did it out of nowhere. Orton told Riddle that he watched his match against Woods and was impressed. Randy added that there are a few things to work on and if they are going to do this tag team thing, they are going to do it right. Orton then invited Riddle to be ringside for his match.

Orton dominated the action early and bounced Woods’ face off the announce table several times as RAW went to a commercial break. Ricochet & Humberto Carrillo Pinned The US Champ

United States Champion Sheamus boasted about being the champ and said he cannot wait to bring the title back on the road. Sheamus joked that Humberto Carrillo and Ricochet should just be given participation trophies because that is the closest thing they will get to gold. Sheamus rolled footage of them attacking him last week and said that they didn’t look like they were championship material.

Sheamus added that he “created” the Open Challenge to find a worthy foe and Ricochet & Carrillo are not worthy to lace his boots. He said he will not face them 2-on-1, but will face them each back to back. Sheamus vowed to send them both back to catering.
