Texas Death Match: Hangman Page def. Christopher Daniels: Weapons such as tables and barbed wire were involved and Daniels was left bloodied. Page pinned the former SCU member to pick up the victory.

The Acclaimed Promo Battle: Max Caster and Anthony Bowens went back and forth on mic. Bowens told Max that he is a ‘cocky piece of shit.’ He claimed that he had everything it takes to be an AEW World Champion. Billy Gunn came out to try and talk some sense but he got berated by Caster. Max claimed that Billy only attached himself to the team so people would chant his name again. Max then asked Bowens to choose between him and Billy and Bowens chose Billy. An angry Caster then announced that The Acclaimed were done before walking out.

12 Men Tag Team Match: Cope, Powerhouse Hobbs, The Outrunners & FTR def. The Death Riders tried to kidnap Cope but FTR thwarted their attempt. The two groups then brawled away from the ring leaving the rest of the participants on their own. Powerhouse Hobbs came out selling his leg in the end. He got the hot tag and pinned Bryan Keith with a spinebuster for the win.

Cope Tells Brody King To ‘Take The Reins’ of House of Black On Collision

AEW has teased Brody King becoming the new leader of House of Black with a new segment featuring Adam Copeland on this week’s Collision.

The former WWE star, now going by just Cope in the company, had a rivalry with the AEW faction before his injury last year. He even had a singles match with King for the TNT Championship during the May 8, 2024 episode of Dynamite.

The two AEW stars shared the screen once again during the most recent TV tapings. Cope cut an interesting promo during this encounter, mentioning all the other members of the House of Black except for the group’s leader Malakai Black:

“We’ve been through a lot, but I hope you know that at the end of all of it, I respect you. I respect you [Julia]. I respect Buddy. I think you have the world of potential at your feet. I know what you bring to the table. Man, I felt it. I wanted us to be a group. But tell you what, it’s time for you to take the reins and run.”

Malakai Black has not been seen on AEW TV since the Full Gear PPV in November. The belief is that he’s finished up with the company and is just waiting for his contract to officially expire sometime in the next couple months.

This latest segment is another indication that the company is planning to move away from the former NXT Champion and we might see the group moving forward under the leadership of King instead.

JoJo Offerman Debuts As AEW Ring Announcer

On January 4, 2025, wrestling fans at AEW Collision in Charlotte, North Carolina, were treated to an unexpected surprise when JoJo Offerman made her AEW debut as a ring announcer during a dark match. Known for her previous work in WWE, Offerman’s appearance marked a significant moment in her return to the wrestling world.

JoJo Offerman AEW Debut

Offerman, who served as a ring announcer for WWE from 2013 to 2021, stepped away from the industry after her tenure. Beyond her professional career, she is recognized as the widow of the late Windham Rotunda, known to fans as Bray Wyatt.

Her return to wrestling had been the subject of speculation since September 2024, when she revealed her interest in coming back to the industry, hinting at ambitions beyond ring announcing.

In recent interviews, Offerman shared that she would return to wrestling “when the time felt right.” Her AEW debut could signify the beginning of a new chapter in her career.

Stay tuned for the latest on JoJo Offerman’s future in professional wrestling.

“First Time Ever” Dream Match set for AEW Collision MAX/TNT Simulcast

A “first-time-ever” Dream Match has been set up for the first AEW Collision on MAX/TNT simulcast on January 4th. Although…it’s worth noting that the quotation marks are doing a lot of heavy lifting here.

Toni Storm made her “AEW PPV debut” at Worlds End by defeating Leila Grey in the opening match of the Zero Hour pre-show. Later in the pre-show, Storm was being interviewed backstage by Lexy Nair when Deonna Purrazzo appeared and challenged Toni to a match on Collision.

AEW Collision Toni Storm vs Deonna Purrazzo

Purrazzo was playing along with the idea that Toni is a “rookie” and that this would be a first-time-ever match. Obviously that isn’t the case, but it looks like the Storm storyline will be continuing for at least another week as she navigates her way through the All Elite Women’s roster before getting her inevitable rematch with Mariah May.

AEW Bringing ‘Christmas Collision’ & ‘Dynamite On 34th Street’ To NYC

AEW will be delivering some festive action next month with a pair of shows from the legendary Hammerstein Ballroom. AEW will kick-off with the December 21, edition of AEW Collision, dubbed ‘Christmas Collision‘. On December 25, AEW will host its ‘Dynamite on 34th Street,’ a fun nod to the beloved film about a girl who doesn’t believe in Santa Claus.

image 14

The two shows will mark AEW’s debut in the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City, which hosted several ECW events, including the first two One Night Stand pay-per-views from 2005 to 2006. News of the two shows come after AEW filed trademarks for Christmas Collision and Dynamite on 34th Street earlier this month.

At this time, no matches have been confirmed for either show though the posters above promise some of the very top names on the All-Elite roster. It’s also not been confirmed if the Dynamite show will be pre-taped, allowing the roster Christmas Day to spend with families and loved ones. The fact that both shows are being filmed from the Hammerstein Ballroom has led many to believe Dynamite will be filmed on the same day as the live Collision.

2024 has been a huge year for AEW, with the arrival of Mercedes Mone, Kazuchika Okada, and others. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on AEW and its festive shows set to take place next month.

AEW TV Schedule: Dynamite, Rampage, Collision and more

All Elite Wrestling (AEW) has quickly established itself as a major player in the professional wrestling industry since its inception in 2019. With a diverse lineup of weekly shows and special events, AEW offers fans multiple opportunities to catch their favorite wrestlers in action. Let’s take a closer look at the current AEW TV schedule and what each show has to offer.

Read More – AEW Dynamite Schedule: Date, Venue and more

AEW Dynamite: The Flagship Show

AEW Dynamite serves as the cornerstone of AEW’s programming, airing live every Wednesday at 8 PM ET on TBS.

Since its debut on October 2, 2019, Dynamite has become the promotion’s premier weekly event, featuring top talent and storylines. The two-hour format allows for a mix of in-ring action, promos, and character development, making it a must-watch for AEW fans.

AEW Rampage: Friday Night Action

Premiering on August 13, 2021, AEW Rampage provides an additional hour of wrestling entertainment every Friday at 10 PM ET on TNT.

This show often spotlights performers who may not receive as much airtime on Dynamite, giving fans a chance to see a wider range of AEW’s roster. Rampage’s later time slot allows for a more intense and edgy presentation, catering to hardcore wrestling enthusiasts.

AEW Collision: Saturday Night Wrestling

The newest addition to AEW’s television lineup, AEW Collision, debuted on June 17, 2023.

Airing live on TNT every Saturday at 8 PM ET, this two-hour show was initially conceived to feature CM Punk and keep him separate from The Elite. Collision has since evolved into its own unique program, offering fans a third night of AEW action each week.

Special Events and Additional Programming

In addition to its regular weekly shows, AEW presents special events throughout the year. One such event is the quarterly AEW Battle of the Belts, which airs on TNT and focuses on championship matches.

These specials provide fans with high-stakes encounters and potential title changes.

Schedule Changes and Adaptations

It’s important to note that AEW’s TV schedule can be subject to changes, particularly during major sporting events like the NBA and NHL playoffs.

These events may cause shows like Rampage to be pre-empted or moved to different time slots. AEW has shown flexibility in adapting to these changes, sometimes offering special Saturday night episodes of Dynamite or adjusting start times to accommodate sports programming.

For fans looking to stay up-to-date with AEW’s programming, it’s advisable to check official AEW social media channels or your local TV listings for the most current schedule information.

With its dynamic lineup of shows and willingness to adapt to scheduling challenges, AEW continues to provide wrestling fans with exciting content throughout the week.

AEW to Run NYC’s Iconic Hammerstein Ballroom Next Month

AEW/Ring of Honor is set to take over the legendary Hammerstein Ballroom next month for a duo of exciting shows in the iconic venue. This week, it was reported that ROH Final Battle 2024 will take place from the Hammerstein Ballroom on December 20. Now, Andrew Zarian reports that the December 21, edition of AEW Collision will also take place from the venue inside the Manhattan Center.

Though this will be AEW’s first event in the venue, ROH is no stranger to the Hammerstein Ballroom. Seven of the 22 ROH Final Battle pay-per-views have been hosted from the Hammerstein Ballroom, more than any other location in the show’s 22-year history. Four events have taken place at the Manhattan Center Grand Ballroom.

Outside of ROH, the venue is known for hosting ECW’s final two pay-per-views, Massacre on 34th Street in December 2000 and Guilty as Charged the following year. It was only fitting that ECW One Night Stand 2005 and 2006 was hosted from the ballroom. In September 2010, TNA Wrestling hosted a show from the ballroom.

Now, AEW and Ring of Honor will join the promotions that have set foot in the venue. While no details have been confirmed for either Collision or Final Battle, fans can expect two huge nights in Manhattan, New York next month. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest from AEW Collision as the show prepares to land in the Hammerstein Ballroom.

Dream Vignette Hypes Julia Hart’s Return On 11/10 AEW Collision

Julia Hart’s long-awaited return to AEW programming was highlighted during the latest Collision with a creepy vignette of the ex-TBS Champion.

The vignette starts with Hart doing some cheerleading, a nod to her time with the Varsity Blonds, only to stop as she sees a dark figure sat in the stands watching intently. Hart tries to resume her cheerleading, with flashes of her time in the House of Black appearing on-screen, and is shot with an arrow by the dark figure and collapses in the middle of the field. The promo ends with Hart waking up from a dream.

Many have commended the vignette which hyped Hart’s impending comeback in a unique, thought-provoking way. On X, Dani, a creative photographer, shared that she was the one behind the segment.

Hart has been off AEW television since losing the AEW TBS Championship to Willow Nightingale at AEW Dynasty in April. Shortly after, Hart confirmed that she’d suffered an injury and wore a protective brace on her left arm. Last month, Hart said she was ready to return and was waiting for the call from AEW to come back.

Hart’s work with the House of Black proved to be a hit with fans before her injury and she holds wins over the likes of Anna Jay, Kris Statlander, Skye Blue, and Saraya. While there’s no confirmation on when fans can expect Hart back in the ring, fans are excited to see the wrestler, who recently celebrated her 23rd birthday, make her return in the near future

AEW Collision Spoilers For Saturday, September 14th

The latest tapings of AEW Collision delivered plenty of high-octane action as the promotion continued to deal with the fallout from their All Out pay-per-view.

The show was taped on Thursday, September 12, from the Nutter Center in Dayton, Ohio. This taping comes off the back of this week’s AEW Dynamite, where Jon Moxley addressed his All Out betrayal of Bryan Danielson. Moxley, calling himself the “one true king of these lands” expressed his frustration with the out-of-control attitudes in the locker room and ended by stating “I choose war.”

Tony Khan: ‘AEW Collision/Roster is Much Easier Now Than A Year Ago’

Tony Khan is pleased that things are easier backstage these days in AEW, compared to the era of the company when CM Punk was around. Speaking on the AEW All In: London 2024 post-show media scrum, Khan shared that dealing with the AEW roster, especially those who are regulars on Collision, is proving to be a far easier task now compared to 365 days ago.

“I think it’s a lot easier flow between the two shows than it was a year ago. I think the locker room is in a much better place than it was a year ago, as evidenced by when we came up here versus what happened a year ago. And I think it’s a much easier job I have dealing. Because I had to deal with the people on Collision last year and it’s a much easier meeting process to put the TV together than it was a year ago at this time too.”

The ‘what happened a year ago’ Khan is referencing is the infamous backstage altercation at All In: London 2023 between CM Punk and Jack Perry. Rather than celebrate last year’s event, which remains AEW’s highest-attended show, Khan started the 2023 media scrum by addressing the backstage drama and made clear that he would not be taking questions on the matter.

AEW Collision was launched, in part, to keep Punk and The Elite separate, a necessary side-effect of Punk’s previous backstage drama from AEW All Out 2022. The Chicago-Made star was supposed to be the ‘face’ of the show, which has managed without him following his termination from AEW in September 2023.

Khan isn’t the only one to reference the backstage drama that overshadowed much of AEW All In: London 2023. Earlier this year, Punk, who returned to WWE last November, criticized AEW in an interview with Ariel Helwani, going as far as to say Khan isn’t a real boss. Shortly after, AEW would air footage of the backstage altercation from All In: London 2023 on AEW Dynamite. Khan justified the decision at the time, saying it was solely to give fans the best show he could.

Sammy Guevara Says He Is Not Stuck In A Vortex Anymore After Returning To AEW

Sammy Guevara has made his return to AEW TV after 6 months and proclaimed that he is not stuck in a vortex anymore.

The former AEW TNT Champion originally made his wrestling return during the August 1 episode of ROH. He saved Dustin Rhodes from The Dark Order.

The 31-year-old made his AEW return during the August 3 episode of Collision. He spoke with Rhodes and The Von Erichs (Marshall and Ross Von Erich) in a backstage segment.

Sammy noted that Dustin may not trust him due to his past record but he is looking to earn that trust. Guevara then stated that he had been stuck in a vortex for a long time and for the first time in 5 years, he was ready to be his own man:

The Spanish God reiterated his words about earning the trust of the wrestling veteran before saying that he wants to team with Dustin and Von Erichs.

Sammy Guevara Wants To Be His Own Man

Sammy Guevara had wrestled Jeff Hardy in a No Disqualification match during the February 14 episode of Rampage this year. His knee hit Hardy’s head during a spot in the bout and Guevara was suspended from AEW for not following the concussion protocol and stopping the match after this spot.

The young star has been associated with Chris Jericho in AEW since the early days of the company. He was one of the members introduced as part of Jericho’s Inner Circle faction during the premiere episode of Dynamite.

This partnership has continued on and off for the last 5 years but the latest promo from Guevara suggests that he has finally ended that association and he is ready to do things on his own.
