  • Updated WWE Hell In A Cell PPV Lineup: New Match & Stipulation Added

On Monday’s live edition of WWE RAW, a new match with an added stipulation was announced for the WWE Hell In A Cell pay-per-view, which emanates from Miami, Florida on October 27th.

It was announced by RAW General Manager Brad Maddox that a “Beat The Clock Challenge” would take place to determine whether Paul Heyman or CM Punk would get to select the stipulation for Punk’s match against Ryback at the Hell In A Cell pay-per-view. Ryback would take on R-Truth, while Punk would take on Curtis Axel. Ryback defeated Truth at 5:44, while Punk defeated Axel at 5:33.

It had already been revealed earlier in the night by Heyman that if Ryback won, the match with Punk would be a two-on-one handicap match against both Ryback and Axel. Since Punk won, he decided to keep it a two-on-one handicap match, instead featuring Ryback and Heyman against himself in a Hell In A Cell match.

With that now known, here is an updated look at the official lineup thus far for this year’s WWE Hell In A Cell pay-per-view:

    Vacant WWE Championship
Hell In A Cell Match with Special Referee Shawn Michaels
    -Daniel Bryan vs. Randy Orton

    World Heavyweight Championship
-Alberto Del Rio (c) vs. John Cena

Hell In A Cell Handicap Match
-CM Punk vs. Ryback & Paul Heyman

Stay tuned to SESCOOPS.COM for further updates to the WWE Hell In A Cell pay-per-view lineup, and make sure to check back on Sunday, October 27th for the best live results coverage of the show on the internet.

Huge WWE Hell In A Cell Spoilers Revealed For October 27th

  • Christian Appears At WWE NXT Taping, Addresses His Medical Status & More

As noted recently, WWE pulled Christian off his scheduled appearances at some upcoming live events. Christian did, however, appear at the WWE NXT television tapings on Thursday night in Orlando, Florida.

Christian came to the ring for an unadvertised “Peep Show,” with special guest Alberto Del Rio. The fans in attendance began chanting for a “Five Second Pose” from Christian, who noted that it wouldn’t feel right to do it alone, so he had the crowd join him.

Before Christian actually interviewed Del Rio for the segment, he mentioned that he had visited the doctor earlier that day and was not medically cleared to compete in the ring.

We should have a report from the WWE NXT television tapings up on the website shortly.

-John Cena appeared on Dan LeBatard’s ESPN 2 show today. When asked what was the most shame he ever had in wrestling, Cena referenced losing to The Rock at WrestleMania in Miami. Cena said, “There is a huge back story to the match. Things didn’t go the way he wanted. Maybe in 20 years me and The Rock will get around a table and talk about it.”

-WWE has officially pulled Christian from their weekend live events in Providence, Rhode Island and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. • Backstage Reason WWE Is Stacking The Deck For The Hell In A Cell PPV

The reason WWE is stacking the deck so heavily at the upcoming WWE Hell In A Cell pay-per-view is due to reported concerns that they may have alienated their pay-per-view buying audience with the way they have handled the main event situation on the past couple of pay-per-views.

As noted previously, fans demanded refunds following the recent WWE Night Of Champions pay-per-view due to the fact that they paid for a finish that was completely erased and overturned less than 24 hours later on the free WWE RAW television show that followed the next night. Additionally, fans were loudly chanting “refund, refund” after the non-finish to Sunday’s WWE Battleground pay-per-view in Buffalo.

Due to the fact that WWE has handled the main events, which are what pay-per-views are largely sold on, so poorly at their last few shows, the feeling in the company is they need to regain that trust with their pay-per-view buying audience at Hell In A Cell, which is why there seems to be such emphasis on guaranteeing a legitimate finish in the main event, as well as other major selling points to support it underneath. Basically, the company is stacking the deck so heavily that it pretty much guarantees that anyone who buys the show this time will get their money’s worth.

For those reasons, WWE has brought back John Cena earlier than expected for a match against Alberto Del Rio, as well as guaranteed a new WWE Champion in the third-straight pay-per-view main event between Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan. While they basically guaranteed a winner for the same match at Battleground, they are stressing that this match will be in a Hell In A Cell, which assures viewers that there will be no outside interference, and they have Shawn Michaels as a special guest referee to give further confidence to their fans that there will be a legitimate outcome this time around.

Huge *SPOILERS* For WWE Battleground + VINCE MCMAHON On Raw THIS Monday [>>]

  • Will Damien Sandow Successfully Cash In The MITB Briefcase?, “Total Divas” Expected To Be Renewed

    – WWE creative writers are considering giving “Mr. Money in the Bank” Damien Sandow a run with the World Heavyweight Championship in large part due to Rob Van Dam’s questionable future with the organization.

It has been reported that RVD has not agreed to a new contract with WWE. However, other organization sources claim he signed a deal where he continuously works three months and then takes three months off. Nonetheless, he is expected to disappear from WWE programming shortly after Sunday’s Battleground pay-per-view event.

The reason the belt may wind up in the arms of Sandow is because it would instantly lead to a feud with Del Rio and creative wants the Mexican wrestler to be continuously featured in a top program. Another idea batted around is Van Dam winning the strap from Del Rio, with Sandow immediately cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase to claim the gold. However, some people in WWE feel this idea is unlikely to occur since it happened just two months ago at SummerSlam.

    – E!’s Total Divas, which is currently on hiatus, will resume on November 17, 2013 with six additional episodes. Regarding the possibility of episodes beyond the next batch, many people within WWE expect the reality series to be renewed for a second season beginning shortly after WrestleMania XXX.

  • Update On Davey Richards & Eddie Edwards Following Recent WWE Tryout, Heel Turn Discussed, Lilian Garcia

    – As of last week, former ROH World Champions Davey Richards nor Eddie Edwards have not heard back from WWE officials after participating in an evaluation session in August at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. According to reports from the session, both individuals were said to have stood out the most of the thirty athletes who participated.

When it comes to WWE signing prospective talent who participate in these sessions, various personnel observe, and then report on who they feel are the best prospects to Triple H. He then uses their feedback, and makes the final decision on who gets signed.

    – With Rob Van Dam expected to be written off television within the next week or so due to a contract matter, an angle has been discussed where his current manager, Ricardo Rodriguez, turns on the former ECW standout to partner up with Alberto Del Rio once again.

    – As announced this week, Susan G. Komen is once again partnering with WWE to Rise Above Cancer in order to end breast cancer forever. SmackDown ring announcer Lilian Garcia announced Wednesday via Twitter that she’s a spokesperson for the campaign.
