It’s looking like Alexa Bliss won’t be back in action before the end of this year.
Bliss responded to a fan who was asking her when she will return to the ring. She wrote, “Need time to heal” in addition to a black heart emoji. The message implies that she’s not ready to return to the ring.
Back in September at the Extreme Rules pay-per-view, she was written off television. At the time, it was reported that she was scheduled to undergo sinus surgery with no timeframe for her return known.
Her last match came against Charlotte Flair. Before she took time off, WWE did give out some hints that Bliss might revert to her previous character before she aligned with Bray Wyatt.
However, since that time, there have been no hints of Bliss returning anytime soon. With the Royal Rumble taking place at the beginning of the new year, it’s possible WWE wants to wait to bring her back until then as a surprise in the women’s Royal Rumble match, which would get a big reaction in front of a large crowd.
Alexa Bliss has got people speculating about a potential return to her old gimmick for her inevitable comeback to WWE programming.
The former women’s champion recently posted a GIF from her Twitter. In the tweet, she is first seen in her current persona which then changes to a more normal look:
Don't miss what's going on here in this image. @AlexaBliss_WWE changes from evil Alexa back to somewhat normal Alexa & is smiling. What exactly does that mean? Is she going back to the Goddess? Is she transforming into a new @WWE character that blends the best of both characters?
Bliss has been playing the character originally introduced by Bray Wyatt. She first got involved in this storyline during a match between Wyatt and Braun Strowman at last year’s Extreme Rules PPV.
She took over the persona completely after WrestleMania 37. Randy Orton defeated The Fiend at the show in what would be Bray’s final PPV appearance for WWE. The female star then announced following the event that she didn’t need Wyatt anymore.
This year’s Extreme Rules PPV saw Alexa Bliss going up against Charlotte Flair. Flair not only defeated Bliss in the bout but she also tore up her doll Lily.
The former champion took time off from WWE programming for a surgery afterward. Though, unlike other injured stars, she was picked by Raw during the recent Draft, suggesting that the female star would not stay out of action for long.
Now it would be interesting to see if Bliss really returns to her goddess persona upon her comeback and when she actually comes back.
Alexa Bliss and Sheamus are expected to remain off television for the foreseeable future.
Alexa Bliss was written out of storylines at Extreme Rules this past weekend. She unsuccessfully challenged Raw Women’s Champion Charlotte at the PPV. After the match, Flair destroyed her beloved doll, Lily. Bliss freaked out after seeing her doll being shred to pieces. She did not appear on Raw the following night. According to PWinsider, WWE ran the angle because Bliss is scheduled to undergo sinus surgery.
Sheamus’ absence is also due to nose surgery. His procedure took place on Wednesday and provided these updates on Twitter:
The Celtic Warrior is not expected to take part in the upcoming WWE Draft, which kicks off Friday on SmackDown and concludes at Raw next week. Sheamus is coming off two consecutive losses against United States Champion Damien Priest at Extreme Rules and Raw the following night.
Alexa Bliss appears to be making her way off WWE TV.
Raj Giri of Wrestling Inc reports that Bliss is expected to be off future WWE shows soon. The report notes that it’s unknown whether or not the angle on Extreme Rules where Charlotte destroyed Alexa’s doll will be used as a way to write her off television.
The storyline going into Extreme Rules was that Charlotte didn’t think Alexa Bliss could be championship material again due to her obsession with playgrounds and dolls. After her match with Bliss, Charlotte said she hopes this serves as a wake-up call for the former five-time WWE Women’s Champion.
It’s been said that Bliss will be off TV for “a few months.” It’ll be interesting to see if she shows up on Monday Night Raw tonight (Sept. 27) or if her time off has already begun.
Bliss’ character began to change after being aligned with “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt. Bliss ended up costing Wyatt a match with Randy Orton at WrestleMania back in April. Following a post-WrestleMania promo on Raw the following night, Wyatt wasn’t seen on TV again. He ended up being released from the company. Many people believe that Bliss essentially took Wyatt’s place.
Stick with SEScoops for more information on Alexa Bliss’ reported time off WWE TV once more details become available.
Charlotte Flair was a guest on Alexa Bliss’ Playground last night on RAW. According to comments made by Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, the segment was poorly received by the live crowd in North Carolina. Reportedly, fans left the arena “in droves” during it.
“This one, it really backfired,” Meltzer said of the segment. “They had about 8000 in the building, which is not bad, not good, I mean it’s fine. People were leaving in droves during this segment. I heard 1500 people left.”
“It’s not like they left, went to the bathroom, and came back, they left, went home at 10 o’clock,” Meltzer continued. “People were going home at 10 o’clock, which I have never heard of people going home in any numbers during a live RAW and this was the first.”
Update: Alexa Bliss is calling out Dave Meltzer for this report. She wrote on Twitter:
“Sorry Meltzer (or whatever) you can’t get clout off of our segment … move on #StopLying #LitterallyDidntHappen #YoureEmbarassingYourself”
– Alexa Bliss
Bliss and Flair will meet at Extreme Rules on Sunday with the RAW Women’s Championship on the line. Both Flair and Bliss hold all-time records with the belt. Bliss has spent more days with the RAW championship (398) than anyone dating back to the title’s inception in 2016.
Flair has won the title more times (6x) than anyone in history and held it for 274+ days, which ranks 4th all-time behind Bliss, Lynch, and Asuka.
Alexa Bliss is intrigued by the idea of taking acting roles if the stars align.
Bliss has made a major transition in her character. The former Raw and SmackDown Women’s Champion went from being “The Goddess” to taking on a supernatural gimmick. While the gimmick has been quite polarizing, there’s no doubt it has garnered attention.
With the gimmick, Bliss has had her acting chops tested. Here’s what she told Entertainment Tonight about a potential run in Hollywood.
“If I wasn’t in this industry, I don’t know, that’s tough. I went to school for diet after having my eating disorder. So I don’t know if I’d be working at an eating disorder clinic or if I’d be pursuing acting. I’m very introverted as a person. I don’t think I would be able to pursue acting if it wasn’t for breaking out of my shell in WWE,” she said. “WWE will always be home. That’s always where I’ll be, but I would love to see what happens if I tried to go for acting. I’ve been working with an acting coach for the last ten months and everything I’m doing right now character-based wise is a lot of acting and a lot of fun. I would love to try that one day if the cards allow. That would definitely be a passion of mine. For now, WWE is home.”
Alexa Bliss has seemingly begun a program with Raw Women’s Champion Charlotte. On the post-SummerSlam edition of Monday Night Raw, Bliss introduced her doll, Lilly, to Charlotte.
Alexa Bliss threw the ceremonial first pitch at Sunday’s Chicago White Sox baseball game at Wrigley Field. She was joined by her fiancé, pop star Ryan Cabrera.
Former WWE NXT Superstar Chelsea Green recently appeared on Those Wrestling Girls podcast. The ‘Hot Mess’ discussed several topics on the show, including revealing some of the pitches she had whilst in WWE.
“I really think one that stuck with me, that I tried to shove down WWE’s and NXT’s throats was always the crazy, obsessive character,” Chelsea Green began. “Someone a lot like Mickie James, but possibly a little darker, a little more like the movie Obsessed and Swimfan, kind of in that direction.”
“Very creepy. I like that,” Green continued. “For me, character work is my thing. So I just want to do something that shows my character work and my mic skills, as well as my wrestling skills.”
“I mean, I don’t know why I’m not just an actress. I don’t know why I’m wrestling!”
Chelsea Green
Chelsea Green on Alexa Bliss
Chelsea Green also admitted that she was ‘jealous’ of Alexa Bliss’s character that currently appears on WWE television. “Trust me; I tried, I really tried. And when I saw Alexa Bliss do what she’s doing, I’m so happy for her, but I have forever been jealous of that character.”
“Because I know that that is the exact type of character I would’ve thrived [in] if I was given it. But, you know, that’s the crazy thing about wrestling,” the IMPACT and ROH star would conclude.
Where else do you want to see Green appear? Let us know in the comments.
Alexa Bliss took to social media yesterday to voice her eternal support to recently released WWE wrestler, Buddy Murphy.
Murphy was released on June 2nd after his career within WWE had stagnated. Talking during a recent interview with Chris van Vliet, he was full of praise for Alexa Bliss thanking her for helping him adjust after moving to the US from Australia. Bliss was instrumental in his formative period in WWE.
There was no secret made that Alexa Bliss and Buddy Murphy were a couple for several years and have remained incredibly close even after their break-up. As evidenced by their near-constant exchange of kind words and well wishes.
In response to Murphy’s words of praise Alexa Bliss said she was excited to see what he does next and that she would always be there for him.
Thanks for the kind words Matt ?Always been there & I always will be there for you?? can’t wait to see what you do next @WWE_Murphy https://t.co/jjCWhM1DI4

Alexa Bliss and Buddy Murphy Have a Deep Connection
There is something about the connection between Alexa Bliss and Buddy Murphy that runs deeper than anything else. They are close friends and echo the same sentiments as recently shared by Killian Dain. Regardless of promotion, regardless of factions, faces or heels, friendships in wrestling are few but genuine.
When Alexa Bliss first started in NXT, she was paired with the tag team of Blake and Murphy, turning heel for the first time with them. Since those days, Alexa Bliss has moved through several different characters, earning multiple championships along the way.
A main event star, Bliss has garnered plenty of attention creating headlines that have dominated wrestling news around the world.
The pair have followed very different career paths since their early days. However, there is no denying both are extremely talented performers. The future is looking very bright for both of them.
Buddy Murphy will return to action on September 18th taking on AEW star Brian Cage for Battleground Championship Wrestling. While Alex Bliss is set to compete in another Money in the Bank ladder match as she continues her quest to reclaim WWE gold.
Nikki Cross revealed a new ‘superhero’ character on Monday’s episode of WWE Raw. The former Sanity member discussed the new gimmick and her reunion with Alexa Bliss on the RAW Talk post-show.
Cross and Bliss teamed to take on Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler in a Money In The Bank qualifying match, with Bliss and Cross getting the win and heading to the PPV event in July for the ladder match.
Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross have history in WWE, with the duo previously being a full time tag team for a good chunk of time on WWE programming.
“With me and Alexa, so much has happened over the last 6 months,” Cross began on RAW Talk. “She’s been through a lot, and I have been on a different journey. For tonight, the goal was just to win the match. The whole point was to qualify for the Money in the Bank match, and we achieved that goal. And now, fire, baby!”
Nikki Cross’ Superhero Gimmick
Cross also discussed her new superhero gimmick, saying “do I have superpowers? I know I don’t. I know I can’t fly or don’t have super strength. But the thing is, when I put on this outfit, I feel like I can do anything. I’m gonna keep trying and keep getting back up. All anyone can ever do is believe in themselves.”
So far, Asuka, Naomi, Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross have already qualified for the Money In The Bank match, and 4 more SmackDown Superstars are set to be confirmed in the coming weeks.
Nikki Cross posted the following on Instagram. “Bringing THIS to life has given me such joy,” she wrote. “The roll I have been on the last few weeks gave me the boost I needed to unveil this to the world, that everyone has that spark and they can try anything they want to, just listen to your heart.”
WWE announced a new match for the upcoming Hell In A Cell PPV during this week’s episode of Raw confirming that Alexa Bliss will be taking on Shayna Baszler on the show.
Last week’s episode the Red Brand featured an Alexa’s playground segment in the main event. It included Baszler as well and Bliss asked the former NXT women’s champion to apologize to her doll Lilly.
Shayna took the doll from Bliss but she stomped her instead. The lights then started to flicker and Baszler got caught up in the pyro on the stage when she tried to run to backstage.
The Queen of Spades went to the locker room and locked herself inside. However, Lily showed up on the mirror and the segment, and the show ended with Baszler screaming as the lights went out.
The opening segment of this week’s Hell In A Cell go home episode of Raw saw Nia Jax confronting Bliss backstage. Jax said that her partner will see Bliss at the PPV, making the match official.

Fans of Alexa Bliss know that she enjoyed the companionship of a pet pig named Larry Steve for many years. Unfortunately, Larry Steve passed away yesterday just before turning 4 years old. The loss has been difficult for her and she posted a very tearful message early this morning to thank fans for their support.
“Hi, I just wanted to get on here real quick and say thank you to everyone who has reached out about Larry and to let everyone know that I really appreciate the amount of support and the people who have called and texted,” Bliss says in the video. “I will get back to you, I just can’t yet because we’re still trying to wrap our heads around what happened.”
“Larry went very quickly, digressed really quickly, and we don’t really fully understand it yet. But he was surrounded by people who loved him. My family was there, we were petting him, and Ryan was playing him music on his guitar because Larry loves music.”
Alexa put out several messages yesterday asking people for help finding a vet who will treat pigs. She said her normal vet was uncomfortable doing so in the condition Larry Steve was in. In her video, Alexa implored animal care workers to do more to help animals like Larry.
“And I just want to say to any animal care person or vet, no matter how big an animal is or how different they are, please help them. I hope Larry’s story helps open people’s eyes to the realities of having animals around his size and I just want people to do better.”
“We are going to celebrate Larry’s birthday tomorrow. I really want to do something where we celebrate his birthday and maybe do a charity thing to raise money for an animal rescue and if that’s something you guys are interested in or seeing or anything like that just let us know and again thank you.”
Alexa Bliss’ pet pig, Larry-Steve, has sadly passed away.
On Monday, Bliss posted a message on Instagram asking if anybody knew of an emergency veterinarian that specifically works with pigs.
“Larry is very ill, can’t move or walk. In a lot of pain,” she wrote. “His usual pig vet said she is not comfortable treating him in his current condition. Most vets are not comfortable treating pigs. If anyone knows of a pig vet please let me know.”
Tuesday morning, she broke the news that Larry-Steve ‘gained his angle wings’ the day before his 4th birthday.
“This morning Larry-Steve gained his Angel wings. I’m so sorry we couldn’t find you the help you needed in time. Some people didn’t understand. But I want you to know Larry, YOUR LIFE MATTERED. We are completely heartbroken.”

Alexa Bliss was backstage at Monday’s Raw, but did not appear on television.
She posted the following photo on Twitter remembering her beloved friend.
Since her union with Bray Wyatt and subsequent solo antics, Alexa Bliss has built up a character that truly suits her. In a recent segment of Alexa’s Playground, Lily, Alexa’s best friend hinted that she had been playing all weekend.
A lot of creative effort goes into the Playground segments, as they were with the FireFly Fun House. There are a lot of cryptic messages behind these segments. Many fans believe they have deciphered Lily’s message. Believing it teases Alexa’s first feud since she broke away from The Fiend at Wrestlemania.
During the segment, Alexa Bliss tells the audience that Lily has been playing hide and seek all day long. This was followed by a secretive, behind the hand comment that “her favorite color is red.”
This could just be Alexa Bliss playing her character. Using red because it suits the twisted world in which Little Miss Bliss seems to live. However, many RAW viewers happened to notice that Lily was caught on camera during the show. Lurking in the background during a backstage segment with Sonya Deville, who just happened to be wearing a red suit.
Alexa Bliss has not done anything since Wrestlemania, while Sonya Deville has been out of action since losing to Mandy Rose back in August 2020.
A feud between the two would take some storytelling to get it aligned given the current character arcs. Yet, given the genuinely terrifying nature of Alexa Bliss’s character these days, you could see several ways for WWE creative to make Deville an object of her devilish affection.
Randy Orton vs the Fiend kicked off night 2 of WrestleMania 37 on Sunday night. Orton pinned the Fiend following an RKO, delivered as Wyatt had just been distracted by a black-ooze-leaking Alexa Bliss. Bliss sat atop a giant Jack-in-the-Box as ooze dripped down her face. It was somewhat reminiscint of when Papa Shango put a curse on The Ultimate Warrior and caused a similar-looking black goo to drip down his forehead.
According to recent online posts, horror special effects legend Tom Savini was behind Bliss’ ooze-dripping. Savini’s team has been behind The Fiend’s look and masks and designed Bliss’s headpiece and special effects for Mania as well.
Savini’s partner, Jason Baker, took to Twitter to credit those involved.
In 2019, Baker took part in an interview and spoke about working with Wyatt on his new character.
“That man is… what’s that old saying? The razor’s edge between genius and insanity? And that man walks that razor’s edge constantly,” Baker said. “Very, very smart. Smarter than a lot of people give him credit for. Great to collaborate with. You think you’re gonna throw an idea at him, he comes back with eight. You think you’re gonna hit him up with a piece of trivial knowledge, he’ll hit right back. He’ll see your trivial knowledge and then raise ya. He is a unique, unique human being. It’s been an absolute pleasure and an honor to get to collaborate with this gentleman — with someone who just puts such a thought process into his craft.”
WrestleMania this year is once again going to be a two-night spectacle and it appears that the former women’s champion Alexa Bliss prefers it to be that way.
The former champion recently had an interview with Mike Jones from DC101 to promote the upcoming big event where she talked about a number of things.
Talking about the PPV being stretched to two nights, Bliss explained why it might be a good idea to continue this arrangement because it stops fans from getting exhausted:
“I’m really excited because I feel like the energy is going to be so much higher, when it was one night, there’s later matches at the end of the night,
And you’re just like, ‘oh man, we gotta wake these people up. they’ve been watching the show for about seven hours now!’ I’m excited, I’m happy that it’s two days and everyone can come back refreshed the next day.”
Alexa Bliss also talked about matches she is excited for at WrestleMania. She mentioned the match between Bad Bunny and The Miz, saying that she is excited to see Bad Bunny perform because he has been training really hard.
While the female star does not have a WrestleMania match of her own, she has been a prominent figure in the feud between Randy Orton and The Fiend, and Bliss is expected to be involved in their match in some capacity.
Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss will both take part in an episode of NBC’s Punky Brewster reboot scheduled to begin airing later this month. The series will debut on the Peacock streaming service on February 25th, 2021.
New pictures have been released today by the Bleacher Report of Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair appearing on the show. It seems the two will be playing themselves in a special WWE-themed episode.
The original Punky Brewster ran for four seasons between 1984 and 1988. Soleil Moon Frye, who starred as the original Punky Brewster, will reprise the role in the reboot. This time instead of being a bright-eyed child, however, Punky is a single mother of three.
Former WWE writer, Freddie Prinze Jr, also has a role on the show. He will play the role of Punky’s ex-husband.
Bliss recently spoke about wanting to get into acting during an interview with Hollywood Life.
“I would love to, at some point, cross over [to movies] and bring a mix of WWE fans and mainstream fans together,” she said. “Merge the worlds together. I would love do something like that – or have my own little talk show on the WWE Network! I would love to test the waters and see what happens.”
Alexa Bliss apparently missed this week’s episode of Raw because she is in Los Angeles where Bliss and several other WWE superstars are working on the upcoming reboot of Punky Brewster.
WWE Hall Of Famer and backstage producer D-Von Dudley recently posted a video on Cameo where he confirmed that he has been in LA to help produce the reboot of the sitcom.
Interestingly, the WWE legend noted that both Bliss and Charlotte Flair, who has been out of action since June this year, are with him. You can check out the video he posted below:
Punky Brewster is a popular sitcom of American TV from the 80s. The show’s story centers around a young girl named Penelope “Punky” Brewster who is raised by a foster parent.
A ten episode revival of the show was announced back in the summer of 2019 and the reboot is scheduled to air on NBC Universal’s Peacock network.
Alexa Bliss appeared on last week’s episode of Raw where she was part of a weird segment between Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt which was a product of Vince McMahon’s vision.
It’s unknown if Bliss will be taking an extended break from the company for the show or if she will be back on WWE programming soon. Stay tuned for updates.
Raw Superstar Alexa Bliss has divulged details about her WWE contract, revealing in an interview with Better Together with Maria Menounos when it expires.
The topic came up after Menounos asked the recently engaged Bliss if she and Ryan Cabrera planned on having children. Bliss informed her that the two have discussed the possibility once her WWE contract has expired.
“We discussed we would see, you know, once my WWE contract is over, where we’re at,” Bliss said. “That’s in about 3, 3.5 years! He’s totally fine with that, like, ‘yeah, I’m good! I just don’t want to be 45 and having my first kid!'”
Alexa Bliss On Firefly Fun House Influences
During the interview, Alexa Bliss also opened up about her recent on-screen transformation and alignment with “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt. When asked about any shows she may have drawn inspiration from for her new Firefly Fun House character, Bliss pointed to several kids’ shows, including The Big Comfy Couch.
“I was watching The Big Comfy Couch. I rewatched this sing-a-long called Sing A Long With Silly Wen. But she used to wear the pig tales, and so did the girl from the big comfy couch. I’ve just been watching that, and Nick Jr, and I’ve been watching Blues Clues again.”
On a recent episode of Monday Night Raw, Bliss aligned herself fully with “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt, much to the surprise and chagrin of her long-time best friend, Nikki Cross.
WWE Superstar Alexa Bliss is engaged to be wed. Bliss shared the happy news via her Twitter account, revealing how she and Ryan Cabrera are officially engaged.
Cabrera initially shared an image of himself down on one knee, proposing to Bliss, who has her hand covering her mouth in shock. It is accompanied by a caption reading, “Tonight was the best night of my life!!! And it’s just the beginning!!!”
Bliss eventually shared the image to her personal Twitter account and confirmed the news to her followers. She explained how “One year ago we said hello, tonight I said YES.” She accompanied her message with a black heart emoji.
Alexa Bliss has been enjoying a character resurgence as of late on WWE television. Having partnered with Nikki Cross, the two enjoyed a reign as WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.
Alexa Bliss made an appearance on Alison Rosen “Is Your New Best Friend Podcast” where she discussed a wide range of topics including WWE labeling their talent as independent contractors.
A fan asked the question and about the criticism that WWE faces for doing this. Bliss defended the company over this topic.
“WWE takes care of us 100%, we all are in a contract, and anything that happens inside the ring, WWE takes care of. Our health is 100% priority, our health and safety is 100% priority in the company.
Unfortunately, we’re living in the middle of a cancel culture, where people try to start rumors, and make their assumptions of things. There has never been a time where I’ve ever felt uncomfortable about being in the ring, or ever felt forced about being in the ring.
Even when I was injured, I had concussions, and Vince said ‘Alright, well we’re going to send you to the best specialists there are’, and he did, and I saw a concussion specialist, and they went above and beyond to take care of me. I know everyone feels that way.”
For decades this has been a hot topic among wrestlers. Despite the minority of wrestlers being vocal about it, there has never been a union in the pro wrestling business let alone WWE.
This topic was brought back up when WWE decided to ban wrestlers from making money off third party platforms such as Twitch and Cameo.
WWE Hall of Famer and co-host of SiriusXM’s Busted Open Radio Mark Henry recently discussed the ongoing Alexa Bliss and ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt storyline.
Initially, Alexa Bliss appeared during the ‘Wyatt Swamp Fight’ at WWE’s Extreme Rules event earlier this year. Bliss would, seemingly, appear as an illusion in Braun Strowman’s psyche. This however would end up leading to Alexa Bliss and The Fiend being intertwined on television.
‘She Could Do Unbelievable Things’
“What could Alexa do with that kind of power?” Mark Henry began on the podcast. “Harness a stable of men? But what about the women? What about people like Nikki Cross, and people that are not being used right now?”
Mark Henry would also suggest that Bliss could end up ‘controlling’ The Fiend; with Alexa becoming the Sister Abigail character that has been teased for so many years on WWE programming.
“[She] can convince them, ‘I can introduce you to him (The Fiend Bray Wyatt). I can help you. I can help you become a champion'” Mark Henry would continue. “She could do unbelievable things, that you can only do if you have the catalyst for it.” Henry stated that Bliss could be the catalyst for a major shift on WWE television.
Mark Henry would finish by praising WWE for beginning to create a ‘female monster’ with Alexa Bliss’ new direction in the company. “I think that they’re [WWE] on the right track to creating a female monster, and that’s gonna be great.”
Do you agree with Mark Henry? Could Alexa Bliss have her own stable in WWE with The Fiend? Let us know in the comments section how you would book this angle
Alexa Bliss is dealing with two things at the moment. She’s possibly been possessed by Bray Wyatt’s Fiend on Smackdown and fans have been sending her negative comments on Twitter. The negative comments are in regard to a Tweet Bliss sent out regarding the storyline involving her ex-fiance, Buddy Murphy, and Rey Mysterio’s daughter, Aalyah Mysterio.
Bliss responded to a WWE Tweet that featured the supposed DM’s between Murphy and Aalyah with “Honestly I don’t blame him lol #ShootYourShotBud.” The Tweet has since been deleted.
Some fans have been critical of the angle between Murphy and Aalyah due to Mysterio’s daughter only being 19 years of age. Bliss commented on this in a series of other Tweets.
Getting attacked for writing about a show y’all are watching anyway ?? #GetOuttaHere
She then commented specifically on the concerns regarding Aalyah’s age.
Do I Know her or her age? No. Was I trying to be supportive of Murphy? Yes. Back off and calm down ppl. Just happy Murphy is getting the success he’s worked for. That’s all ????? be bothered by something else ?? https://t.co/AuBYaltYqa
Alexa Bliss is involved in an ominous storyline with Bray Wyatt and Nikki Cross on Smackdown at the moment. She seems to have some type of connection with Bray Wyatt’s Fiend character. Bliss lost to Lacey Evans last week on Smackdown via DQ.
Buddy Murphy’s role as Seth Rollins’ disciple appears in flux. Murphy confronted Rollins last night on RAW after he shared private DMs from his phone. Murphy defeated Dominik Mysterio last night in singles action when he capitalized on Rollins’ distraction.
Ever since her interactions with “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt, Alexa Bliss has incorporated character changes to her on-screen role. During an interview with TVInsider.com, Bliss reflected on her character evolution and why she loves anything “out-of-the-box.”
Alexa Bliss admitted how she loves anything “different and out-of-the-box.” This is because those ideas allow her to evolve and change her character.
She highlighted how gimmick changes and character development will often “spike people’s interest.” Bliss then pointed to “The Fiend” as a successful example of this.
Bliss noted how she is known for loving promos and enjoys being given a chance to “portray a character.”
According to Bliss, it’s her favorite thing to do. She admitted that being able to try something new is a lot of fun and that she is excited to see where it may go.
Bliss then looked back at her participation during the Extreme Rules Swamp Fight between “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman. She revealed how she didn’t know she would be a part of their clash:
“I thought it was really cool how it came across. I didn’t know I was going to be in that. When I was told I was, it was really cool because it was something different. It was something I’ve never done. I love how it turned out.”
You can see Alexa Bliss role in Extreme Rules’ Swamp Fight below:
Alexa Bliss suffered multiple concussions during her 2018 Hell In A Cell match with Ronda Rousey and she was out of action for an extended period of time.
The former Women’s Champion stayed out of action for almost 5 months and during this time, there were many rumours about her in-ring career possibly coming to an end.
During a recent interview with BT Sport, Bliss talked about the time and revealed that she also didn’t know if she was going to be back in the ring again:
“It was very scary because I didn’t know if I was going to be able to get back in the ring again, because you know we’ve had a lot of WWE Superstars have to retire from that.
And you know, I didn’t want to be one of those.” said Alexa Bliss “But with concussions it’s such a dangerous thing because it could take a week to heal or it could take a year. You can’t just wrap a brain up in a cast and hope it heals.”
The former NXT star then revealed that all of her other symptoms were gone but she was experiencing a really bad vertigo for an extended period of time.
Though Alexa Bliss did manage to recover from the injury and she returned to the ring during the 2019 Royal Rumble event. She has formed a team with Nikki Cross since then and the duo currently holds the Women’s Tag Team Championships.
You can check out her full interview in the video below:
