Alexa Bliss Talks How WWE Locker Room Found Out About Becky Lynch’s Pregnancy

Alexa Bliss recently did an interview with The Express where she spoke about the big news that Becky Lynch shared on an episode of Monday Night RAW earlier this month.

Lynch vacated the WWE RAW Women’s Championship, which was awarded to Asuka, right before she announced her pregnancy. She’s been engaged to Seth Rollins since August.

It turns out that the WWE locker room found out about Lynch’s pregnant during the segment as WWE had kept it a secret aside from a small group of people who knew about it.

“No actually, we all found out at the same time when she announced it. Nobody knew, everyone kept it very secret which they should because that is her news to announce, which is awesome and we’re all so happy and excited for.

I did reference it on Moment of Bliss and it wasn’t even on my script. So we had to add it in after because it was kept so secret, which it should be because that’s their exciting news to announce.”

Bliss continued by noting how everyone was so excited and all the girls were smiling. She stated that it was great because Lynch had such an amazing year. She recalled congratulating Lynch and told her that everyone was so happy for her.

However, at the time, Lynch had a camera crew with her so she didn’t want to bug her with everything going on in addition to everyone coming up to Lynch congratulating her.

WWE Superstars Discuss Travel Issues With Championships

Prior to the coronavirus pandemic, travel was a given if you’re a WWE Superstar. Wrestlers have often spoken about the rigors of WWE’s schedule. It isn’t uncommon for a Superstar to be frequently to perform either in-ring or media duties. On a recent episode of A Little Late With Lilly Singh, Alexa Bliss, Natalya, and Paige opened up about having to travel with a WWE championship belt.

Bliss shared how a WWE champion has to take their belt everywhere with them. “It’s like, ‘Oh my gosh, I won a title,’ and they are like yes, now you have to carry it through TSA.”

She explained how it can occasionally get you into weird, embarrassing situations. Bliss recalled a time when she tried to stow her bag into a plane’s overhead locker.

According to Alexa Bliss, the bag just wouldn’t fit. Eventually, she was requested to check the bag, which she wanted to avoid. She was told she would have to take something out of her bag to make it fit. “[…] of course, the only thing that I can take out was the title and then of course miraculously my bag fit. I had to sit there and be that person, that in case you didn’t know I’m the champ, I’m sitting in my airport seat with my title.”

Paige’s Travel Woes

Paige then recalled a travel story where her look ended up causing her to come under suspicion. Despite having the championship in her bag, “they were all focused on my jacket.” She shared how her in-ring jacket had stones and metal on it. This caused security to pull it out and question her.

According to Paige, she was asked if she intended to use her spiked jacket as a weapon. After having a crowd gather to inspect it, she was finally allowed through as they had no choice but to admit it was just a jacket.

Alexa Bliss Talks Nearly Losing Her Life To An Eating Disorder

Alexa Bliss is currently 1/2 of the Women’s Tag Team Champions alongside her partner, Nikki Cross. Before she got to WWE, however, Bliss dealt with an eating disorder. She recently spoke to SI.com about the impacts this had on her life and the scary health consequences that resulted.

When Bliss was 15 years old, her weight fell to just 80lbs. Her heart rate fell below a normal healthy rate and she was taken to hospital.

“When I went to the hospital, I almost went into cardiac arrest,” said Bliss. “And I wasn’t allowed to go to sleep—they thought I’d die if I did.”

Bliss also spoke about how eating disorders run in her family. She also noted that every few years she deals with a bout of depression.

“Dealing with eating disorders, anxiety, and depression, I’m no stranger to mental illness. Every few years, I deal with a really bad spell of depression. You have to know it doesn’t have to overtake your life,” Bliss continued.

“Mental illness can dictate someone’s entire life. I put myself in a position to be in the public eye, but I’m doing what I love. I’ve gone to therapy, I’ve done everything I can do to get my brain in a healthy place.”

Over the past year Cross has been teaming with Alexa Bliss, in a team that many fans believed would be short lived. Nikki Cross would discuss how the team came together, and how her and Alexa Bliss are now best friends beyond the ring as well.

Nikki Cross on WrestleMania 36

Discussing her WrestleMania 36 win, Nikki Cross would say “to do it alongside Alexa, who’s someone that I could see speak all day about? And just have wonderful things to say about? To get to do it with her and to get to do it with my best friend? Was just fantastic.”

Teaming With Alexa Bliss

Cross would then move on to how the team was formed. “So it was almost a year ago now. Yeah, May last year. You know, we both had ideas that kind of involved involved the other [person], we had ideas to work together” Cross revealed. “And then we kind have on screen and off screen kind of developed [in a] very similar way. We became closer, you know, initial conversations and then it turned out a longer conversation that then turned into ,travelling together. You know sat next to each other as we’re waiting for the plane to board the plane. During the drives together; these four hour drives, and three hour drives together. You know, checking into the same hotel you know? It kind of just grew. Whatever you saw on screen was very much what happened off screen.”

Carmella and Dana Brooke challenged the new Tag Team Champions on SmackDown this week, you can check out the video for that below.

Nikki Cross Talks Winning Tag Team Titles at WrestleMania 36

WWE Superstar Nikki Cross recently appeared on the Gorilla Position podcast. The Scottish born Superstar won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania 36 this past weekend alongside her partner Alexa Bliss. Nikki Cross discussed this during the interview, describing the feeling of winning the belts for the 2nd time in front of an empty Performance Center.

Nikki Cross on WrestleMania 36 Moment

“It was such a fulfilling moment” Nikki Cross began. “It was, so emotional like, I mean i think it was funny. I was watching it back and I saw the photos, and there’s this hilarious moment. I’m just on my knees and the referee has given me the Championship title, and I can’t get up! I’m just like…I was just overwhelmed like you know? I think you can see it in my face. It was [also] on Alexa’s face you know? It was so emotional for both of us. Because we’re still connecting with fans, it’s just the fans are in a different location. And they’re all safe in their homes and they’re watching it through their television.”

Women’s Tag Team Division

The WWE Women’s Championships have seemingly taken a backseat over the past few months, whilst the Kabuki Warriors of Asuka and Kairi Sane are extremely talented and entertaining there just hasn’t been a viable push for the belts in recent memory. Nikki Cross would however say that her and Alexa Bliss care greatly about the division and want to see it thrive.

“We’re all striving to make this division special”

Nikki Cross

“We care so much about the women’s tag team division” Nikki Cross stated. “And we’re striving to make that the best we can. Because we’re nurturing that [division], it’s like a newborn baby. And you know, we speak, so many of the girls feel that way. That we’re all striving to make this division special and the best division it can be. Winning the championship from the Kabuki warriors…getting to compete against them in a match? A match I’m very proud of? It was, it was so so emotional and the emotion, everything was still there.”

Nia Jax Talks About Protecting Alexa Bliss From An Unsafe Superstar

RAW Superstar Nia Jax recently took part in a Zoom conference call with several other female Superstars. During their interview, Jax revealed how she once had to protect Alexa Bliss from another Superstar she deemed unsafe.

Without naming the Superstar, Jax shared how Bliss had been working an angle where should be consistently hurt. According to her, Bliss didn’t want to say anything as she wanted to be a good team player. The last thing she wanted was for somebody who couldn’t perform or deliver. Nia Jax revealed how angry the situation made her. She stated she “personally would now allow her to get back in the ring to get hurt again.”

Jax would go to the higher-ups within WWE to bring the issue to their attention. She recalled how “I had to put down a stern foot and say, ‘listen, Lexi is five-foot-nothing, 100 pounds getting thrown around like a little rag doll and injured every night. Put me in. I’m a six-foot 300-pound bitch. I can handle it.”

Nia Jax On Standing Up For Alexa Bliss

Nia Jax acknowledged she understands how there are times to keep quiet and commit to being a team player. However, there are other occasions where it is simply unacceptable. To her, she couldn’t allow one of her good friends to get hurt. This is what motivated her to stand up for Bliss and ensure she wouldn’t get hurt going forward.

Nia Jax returned to in-ring action during this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW. The pre-recorded episode took place in front of zero fans due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross Win WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles

Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross are the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.

Bliss and Cross stepped into the squared circle against The Kabuki Warriors in the opening contest of the WrestleMania 36 – Night 1 pay-per-view event in Orlando, Florida at the WWE Performance Center on the WWE Network.

At the show, Bliss and Cross dethroned Asuka and Kairi Sane to win the titles.

It turns out that Sane and Asuka beat Cross and Bliss to win the titles at the WWE Hell in a Cell pay-per-view event in Sacramento, California at the Golden 1 Center last year.

This was a last-minute match addition as the company only announced it a few hours before the show went live on WWE’s streaming service.

As of this writing, there’s no word yet on when Sane and Asuka will get their rematch for the titles. This marks the second reign as the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles for Bliss and Cross together.

Alexa Bliss Reveals If She Ever Had Plastic Surgery

Alexa Bliss recently cleared the air around any rumors of her getting plastic surgery done, at least on her face.

Bliss posted a throwback photo on her Twitter account showing how her smile hasn’t changed since she was a kid, to which a fan replied suggesting that she had plastic surgery work done: “didn’t have plastic surgeries then”. Bliss snapped back with the following comeback: “The only plastic surgery I’ve had is my boobs… 4x lol #JustBeingHonest”.

Bliss has never hidden the fact that she has had breast implants and openly discusses them on social media when asked by fans.

Bliss has suffered from physical and emotional issues due to her past eating disorders. In the WWE 365 episode featuring her, Bliss talked about this topic. She noted that she got implant surgery done on her at the age of 17 to help her feel more womanly, which helped her cope with self-image issues.

Bliss got to a point where she weighed only 85 pounds due to her eating disorder. Her condition got to the state where she would have died if she hadn’t been admitted in a hospital. Bliss has also said that she doesn’t regret getting implants as they helped her get over her eating disorder and body image issues, and this decision was supported by her doctors.

WWE Star Calls Out Champions, WrestleMania 36 Match Speculation

Some fans are speculating that WWE could make a change to one title match at WrestleMania 36 after recent teasers.

Dave Meltzer has reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE had planned for The Kabuki Warriors to defend the WWE Women’s Titles against Natalya and Beth Phoenix at WrestleMania.

However, the company may have made changes to this match. On Friday’s episode of SmackDown, Alexa Bliss took some shots, which were scripted, towards Kairi Sane and Asuka about how they can also defend their titles against SmackDown stars not just against talent on RAW.

Bliss followed up with two tweets on Saturday that was also about the champions and leading to speculation that this is the direction that WWE is going.

Of course, plans change all the time in WWE. Thus, it’s possible that they will make this a multi-team match with Natalya and Phoenix still included.

WWE presents the WrestleMania 36 pay-per-view event on Sunday, April 5, 2020 in Tampa, Florida at the Raymond James Stadium that will air on the WWE Network. Here is the updated card:

Alexa Bliss Wants “Bigger Spotlight” For Women’s Tag Titles at WrestleMania

Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross are currently a tag team on WWE programming. They defeated the Iiconics to win the WWE Women’s tag team championships last August. Cross and Bliss would drop the belts to the current champions, the Kabuki Warriors, at the Hell in a Cell PPV last October.

Alexa Bliss spoke with Metro in the UK about wanting the women’s tag belts to play a more prominent role at WrestleMania this year.

“I would love for us to go for the tag team championships again. We’re establishing the women’s tag division still, and there’s no better place to showcase the titles than at WrestleMania!” Bliss said.

She would continue to say that WrestleMania is the perfect spotlight for the women’s tag team division.

“I think our women’s tag division has some of the most talented women on the roster, you just don’t see that because the tag division is so new and it’s not getting as big of a spotlight. But it’s just a matter of time because the titles are so new, and I think WrestleMania is the perfect spotlight for it!”

Alexa Bliss On Being A Babyface

Bliss also spent some time during the interview speaking about the difference between being a babyface and heel in WWE.

“It’s been very interesting, being the bad guy for six years and then all of a sudden being told, ‘Oh you’re a good guy,'” Bliss added. “So I’m definitely working on getting rid of those bad guy tendencies – it’s still in my nature to scream at the ref and throw a temper tantrum in the ring, but hopefully I can gear it towards another direction!”

One thing she noted is that now that she is a babyface, it’s okay for her to laugh while in character.

“A lot of times I just don’t keep a straight face,” she admitted. “When I was a bad guy, I used to have to keep a straight face all the time, even when stuff was funny.”

Alexa Bliss Stars In Music Video For Song About Her

The pop-punk band Bowling for Soup recently released a music video for a song about Alexa Bliss. The former multi-time WWE Women’s Champion stars as herself in the video as well.

Lyrics for the song are as follows:

“She saw me for the first time in Columbus
But she was with her friends and?I?was in a?tour bus
A few months later she?was wearing my shirt in a photo shoot
I didn’t even know that she was famous
How could someone so pretty be so dangerous?
She’s only 5′ tall but maybe 5’2″ in her wrestling boots”

The video can be viewed in the player below:

Bliss stated the following about the song in a press release:

“This song is amazing :-) filming the video was such a great time I had a blast. It’s definitely a once-in-a- lifetime opportunity when your favorite band in the world makes a song about you. And Jaret is always so fun to work with and be around :-)”

“[Chorus]
(Hey!)
Why can’t every girl be more like Alexa Bliss?
(Hey!)
How can a chick on TV make me feel like this?
She’s got a finishing move called Twisted Bliss
And it’s like my heart is caught in a sleeper hold
Woah-oh-oh
Why can’t every girl be more like Alexa Bliss?

[Verse 2]
She says some really mean stuff to the other wrestlers
Some say they hate her but they just don’t get her
And if you try to bring her down, she’ll say “Bless your heart”
Her favorite song’s “Girl All the Bad Guys Want”
Sometimes she cheats but she never gets caught, yeah
She’s got a pig named Larry-Steve and he’s so smart”

Bliss had been invited on stage with the band during a show last summer as well.

SmackDown: Alexa Bliss And Elias Return

As noted earlier, last night’s episode of SmackDown saw the return of Sheamus in a backstage vignette. Apart from The Celtic Warrior, two more stars made their return: Alexa Bliss and Elias.

On SmackDown, Nikki Cross faced Sonya Deville in a singles match, with Deville having Mandy Rose at ringside which of course meant that Cross was prone to many a distraction from Rose.

Cross however ended up winning the match after rolling up Deville for a pin. After the match was over, Deville and Rose both ganged up on Cross and attacked her until Alexa Bliss came out to save the day.

Bliss has been out of action since the Hell in a Cell event where she and Cross lost the tag titles to Asuka & Kairi Sane, The Kabuki Warriors back in October. Bliss will be making her in-ring return at the WWE Starrcade event on 1 December where she will participate in a Fatal 4-way tag team match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. Bliss will team with Cross to go against the teams of Asuka & Kairi Sane, Becky Lynch & Charlotte Flair and Bayley & Sasha Banks.

Elias returns in backstage segment

Elias also made a small appearance in a backstage segment involving Dana Brooke and Drake Maverick. When asked where he was gone, he said he was on an “outwards” and “inwards” journey and that he has changed. He then played a tune on his guitar and jammed out with Dana.

Elias has been out with an ankle injury since September, and he was removed from the 2019 King of the Ring Tournament. But now it looks like we can expect to see more of him soon on our TVs again.

Alexa Bliss On Who Was Welcoming To Her When She First Debuted

Starting in a new workplace can be a daunting experience. In an interview with TV Insider, one-half of the current WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, Alexa Bliss, recalled her first days in WWE. Bliss pinpointed one Superstar in particular who was one of the rare few who welcomed her to the promotion: Charlotte Flair.

“She was very welcoming,” Bliss said. “She was one of the few that was welcoming. Sarah Amato, who is an incredible coach, has always been crazy helpful. Since my first day she helped me along the way. I’m thankful to stay in contact with her.

Recalling her time in NXT, she mentioned the one-hour time slot the black-and-gold brand had on the WWE Network. She remarked that its new two-hour slot on USA Network will give NXT talent ample opportunities to shine that they may not have had before.

“There are over a 100 talents that are there,” Bliss explained. “A lot of people we don’t see because NXT is a shorter show. You only see three or four matches per show. If you’re not featured, you’re not going to be on there for a while. I think the show being extended on a bigger stage, it gives the world a view of NXT talent they may have not had before.”

Alexa Bliss is scheduled to defend her Women’s Tag Team Championship alongside her partner Nikki Cross this Sunday. They will be competing against Mandy Rose and Sonya Devilla at WWE’s Clash of Champions event. NXT debuts on USA Network on September 18th.

Alexa Bliss Comments On Friendship With Nikki Cross

Alexa Bliss is currently one half of WWE’s Women’s Tag Team Champions alongside her partner Nikki Cross. In an interview with Fightful, ‘Lil’ Miss Bliss’ addressed her friendship with the former Sanity member, admitting that teaming with Cross has been “quite an adjustment” for her.

“We’re still getting there. You know what I mean. We’re still figuring it out. Because we both have such different styles. So you have to have tag moves, and that chemistry. So, we’re still working on that. Because our last two months we’ve just been costing each other matches by accident. So we’re adjusting to it. But our tag division is incredible.”

She said that, when they started teaming together, the two of them agreed they wouldn’t judge each other based on their past history. Instead, they wanted to go in fresh and develop a genuine friendship—one that extends into the ring and their teamwork.

“That’s what happens when you develop a friendship with someone,” Bliss said. “We agreed that we weren’t gonna judge each other on each other’s past; her past in NXT, my past with Nia and Mickie. And we understand each other, and we see a lot of each other in each other, and I think that’s what developed our friendship and the bond.”

Bliss then reflected on her time in NXT, recalling how Triple H saw something in her at the time and signed her to NXT. She added that, despite the crazy life being a WWE Superstar brings, she loves doing it because she loves performing and connecting with fans worldwide.

Alexa Bliss Opens Up About Suffering From Concussions

Alexa Bliss has opened up about her issues with concussive damage. She also spoke about the understanding she now has of how to better protect herself in the ring.

She divulged the information in an interview with SkySports.com. Bliss spoke openly on how, having suffered one concussion, it’s easy to become re-concussed if not careful.

“Once you have a concussion it’s easier to get re-concussed and I found that out very clearly,” she explained. “It’s the brain, it’s not like an ankle you can tape up and you know the time frame that it’s going to heal – the brain is a completely different thing.”

Thankfully, WWE partnered her up with “the best doctors possible, the best neurologists, [and] physiologists” in their efforts to help her recover.

“I feel a lot better now with the information and the education I was given when it comes to concussions because of what WWE provided for us and I feel a lot better about being in the ring and it makes me appreciate the time in the ring a lot more than maybe I did before.”

Having this new information has helped Bliss protect herself better when it comes to in-ring competition.

She admitted that it’s been a long year, but is “happy that I was given the information I was because now I can be more pro-active when it comes to protecting myself when it comes to a concussion and be safer in the ring.”

Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross defeated The IIconics to become the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions earlier this month.

Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross Win WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles

The IIconics (Billie Kay & Peyton Royce) have been dethroned by Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross as the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.

During Monday’s episode of RAW in Pittsburgh, PA at the PPG Paints Arena, WWE held a Fatal 4-Way Elimination Match. In this contest, Bliss and Cross beat The IIconics, Kairi Sane & Asuka, and Sonya Deville & Mandy Rose to win the titles.

This marks the first time that Bliss and Cross have held the titles. It also marks Cross’ first title reign on the main roster.

WWE RAW Results & Live Coverage (8/5)

The IIconics beat Bayley and Sasha Banks at WrestleMania 35 back in April to win the titles. Nia Jax & Tamina, Beth Phoenix & Natalya were also part of the Fatal 4-Way Match at this show.

The company has already made it known that they’re going with the idea of one set of champions defending the gold on both brands – Monday Night RAW and SmackDown Live.

As of this writing, there’s no word yet on when The IIconics will get their rematch for the titles.

Although not confirmed, it’s possible that they will get a rematch against Bliss and Cross at Sunday’s SummerSlam pay-per-view event.

Alexa Bliss Lashes Out At ‘Rude & Disrespectful’ WWE Fans

Alexa Bliss is not happy with the crowd reaction for her match on this week’s Raw.

WWE held a 4-way elimination match to determine who will face Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch at SummerSlam. The participants were Bliss, Natalya, Naomi and Carmela. Natalya earned the title shot by making Alexa Bliss tap out to the Sharpshooter well past the 20-minute mark.

The match had a lot of rest holds, stalling and transitions. A good portion of the audience was not into it and let the women know they were dissatisfied. Several rebellious chants broke out, including “This is awful” and “Boring.” There were also chants for Becky Lynch and John Cena.

While Raw was still on the air, Alexa Bliss tweeted:

Alexa Bliss did not stop there. She retweeted a message from one of her followers that stated, “They ask for the women to be taken seriously and then they begin to chant that. Disappointing from the crowd.”

Another fan wrote that it was unnecessary for fans to “outright sh*t” on the performers who are putting their bodies on the line in the ring. Bliss agreed, writing that WWE encourages fans to be vocal, but there’s no need for anybody to be rude.

Crossing The Line

Alexa Bliss’ comments tap into an ongoing conversation about fan conduct at live events. People are encouraged to cheer and boo the matches. Good heels will get a strong negative reaction. That’s a big part of wrestling and something that promoters aim for. If a match is boring, fans will probably let the wrestlers know about it.

However, some conduct is clearly off limits. There have been a few recent incidents that cross the line, such as an Impact Wrestling fan spitting on Taya Valkyrie and a AAA fan groping Scarlett Bordeaux.

Thankfully, the crowd on Raw did not get anywhere near those levels of inappropriate behavior. The reactions on social media to Alexa Bliss’ comments are mixed. Some are defending the athletes, while others say the match stunk and paid fans are allowed to give feedback.

Alexa Bliss Getting Ready For Extreme Rules, Undertaker vs. Roman Reigns Full Match

Alexa Bliss Getting Ready For Extreme Rules

Alexa Bliss has been kept away from WWE TV in the last few days because the Goddess has reportedly been dealing with some health issues.

This is said to be the reason why Nikki Cross was added to her upcoming match with Bayley at Sunday’s Extreme Rules PPV, making it a 2-on-1 handicap match.

Though after the health scare, Bliss appears to be ready to fight the SmackDown Women’s Champion as she provided some update on her status via the following Instagram post:

https://www.instagram.com/p/Bz0do-zFOiu/

Undertaker vs. Roman Reigns Full Match

While the Undertaker is gearing up to team with Roman Reigns and take on the duo of Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre, WWE is gearing up for this fight by posting some of Taker’s WrestleMania matches on YouTube.

In the spree, WWE recently posted the full WrestleMania match between Taker and Roman Reigns from the 33rd edition of the Show of Shows on their YouTube account as seen below:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2RZl4o25C3c

This match saw Roman defeating the Dead Man and becoming only the second man to have beaten Taker at the Grandest Stage Of Them All after Brock Lesnar broke his streak at WrestleMania XXX.

Reported Reason Nikki Cross Was Added To Alexa Bliss vs Bayley At Extreme Rules

Bayley was originally scheduled to face Alexa Bliss Sunday at Extreme Rules in a one-on-one match for the Smackdown women’s championship. Nikki Cross was recently added to the match, however, making the match a 2-on-1 handicap with Bliss and Cross against the champion.

According to a recent report from Wrestling Observer Radio, the reason Cross was added to the match is that Bliss is suffering from a sinus infection.

“Alexa Bliss has a real bad sinus infection. Originally, they were not going to do the handicap match. The handicap match was a late change. Everything that happened on TV Monday and Tuesday, with no Alexa Bliss, was because of her sinus infection. They re-wrote that whole storyline.”

He would continue to say that the reason the Beat the Clock challenge with Bayley and Nikki took place this week week was due to the angle being re-written.

“That’s the reason for it. They just felt that due to the situation they needed to do this.”

Bayley vs lexa Bliss – Head to Head

Alexa Bliss holds the edge in the head-to-head stats between Bayley and her on the main roster. Bliss won 2 singles matches against Bayley (both for the RAW women’s championship) on PPV in 2017. On RAW, they are each 1W-1L against each other, with Bayley winning once in 2017 and Bliss winning on an episode from this April. Bayley got her first PPV single’s victory over Bliss at Stomping Grounds putting their head-to-head single’s record against each other on the main roster at 3-2 in favour of Bliss.

Bayley and Bliss wrestled 3x on NXT, however, and Bayley won all 3 of those matches.

It was revealed this afternoon by Wrestling Inc that RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch and WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins will open the show when they take on Zelina Vega and Andrade in a Mixed Tag Team Match.

The match is one of two advertised main events for the show. It was also noted that Alexa Bliss is not at tonight’s RAW as she has been battling an illness. However, per the report, she is still scheduled to face WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley at this Sunday’s Extreme Rules pay-per-view event.

As noted, the other main event being advertised is Shane McMahon & Drew McIntyre facing Roman Reigns and a partner of Shane’s choosing.

Alexa Bliss Reveals Why She Felt Heartbroken Before Evolution

Alexa Bliss, also known as The Goddess of WWE, faced some severe injury scares recently including the two concussions she suffered in a short span of time. These concussions resulted in her missing months of action.

On WWE’s 365 documentary, Bliss spoke about a number of things including the concussions she suffered and how it led to her missing the Evolution PPV, leaving her heartbroken in the process.

Alexa first recalled her Hell In A Cell Match with Ronda Rousey. She revealed that her head went straight into the mat during the bout which caused a concussion. Though later in the interview, She acknowledged that these things happen and they are no one’s fault.

She then took a impact test which the former World Champion failed and the 27-year-old talked about how Vince McMahon himself told her that she would be given time off and the best doctors will aid her.

The Goddess started her general training soon after this as her goal was to be fit before the Evolution PPV, where she was expected to face Trish Stratus. Unfortunately, Alexa suffered another concussion at the weekend before Evolution during a live show.

This resulted in her being removed from the Evolution match and according to the former World Champion, she felt heartbroken by the news because she was looking forward to this bout and she wanted a match with Stratus from the day she started working in WWE.

Apart from this, The former multi-time Women’s Champion also talked about the lengthy medical procedures she had to go through and how Vince McMahon provided her emotional support throughout her ordeal.

Alexa Bliss Talks About Her Favorite Feud To Date

The WWE Network aired a new 365 episode this past Sunday after their Stomping Grounds pay-per-view had concluded. This episode followed Superstar Alexa Bliss over 365 days, documenting his journey from WrestleMania 34 up to WrestleMania 35.

During the documentary, Bliss opened up about her favorite WWE feud, singling out her rivalry with Nia Jax which culminated with the two competing at WrestleMania.

She explained that the issues addressed within their feud were problems both Superstars had experienced in their life, making it that much more emotionally resonant as they brought their rivalry to life.

For Nia, it was body shaming, while Bliss suffered from eating serious disorders growing up.

“The storyline with Nia Jax is my favorite one because we touched on real issues,” Bliss revealed. “We both are really big on body positivity. Nia had had a past of getting bullied and body shamed. I had struggled with eating disorders that almost took my life. It was a great story because it was real.”

Bliss had no issue with dropping the RAW Women’s Championship to Nia Jax at WrestleMania 34, saying that she couldn’t have been happier because she got to share a WrestleMania moment with her best friend.

“It’s no secret that Nia and I are best friends,” Bliss said. “To see Nia holding the title up and knowing that my best friend is having her Wrestlemania moment and I was able to share that with her was awesome. We did the best job at our abilities to make the payoff and show that bullies never win and the good guy will prevail because of the story we had told leading up to it.”

Alexa recently competed in a losing effort to SmackDown Wonen’s Champion, Bayley, at Stomping Grounds.

Bayley Calls Out Liv Morgan & Other Smackdown Stars

Following her successful title defense against Alexa Bliss last night, Smackdown women’s champion Bayley told WWE correspondents that she has some history with Liv Morgan she wouldn’t mind re-visiting. Bayley also listed off some other names she would be willing to defend her title against.

“All that matters is that finally, I ended that chapter with Alexa Bliss,” Bayley said. “I rewrote everything that happened a couple of years ago and now I can move on. Move on to the Smackdown roster, move on to building the division and move on to creating and building everything.”

“I want to create, build my legacy to be the best Smackdown women’s champion you’ve ever seen.”

Bayley was then asked about potential next challengers for her title.

“Let’s see, Smackdown, Liv Morgan where you at?” Bayley said. “We have a lot of history with Riott Squad, let’s see what you’ve got all by yourself.”

She would then go on to mention names like Ember Moon and Charlotte as potential challengers as well.

Bayley vs Alexa Bliss

The history Bayley rewrote last night dates back to a rivalry the two had over the RAW women’s title. Bliss defeated Bayley for the RAW women’s title at Payback in 2017. She then defended the title against Bayley successfully at Extreme Rules 2017 in a kendo stick on a pole match.

Bliss holds the advantage in the head-to-head stats between the two on the main roster, having won 3 matches to Bayley’s 2. In NXT, however, Bayley was a perfect 3-0 against Bliss.
