Alexa Bliss Working Towards In-Ring Return, Kurt Angle Reflects On Survivor Series Debut

Alexa Bliss Comments On Working Towards In-Ring Return

Former WWE RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss mentioned in a recent Instagram post on her official account that she was back in the gym on Wednesday to continue to work towards returning to in-ring action as she has been reportedly out of action with multiple concussions as of late. There’s still no word yet on when he’ll make her return or if she has been cleared by WWE doctors.

She wrote the following, “Done looking for perfection, now looking for progress. New Focus, New motivation. Starting slow, keeping it light in the gym, light work in the ring & step by step coming back better, stronger & healthier.”

Kurt Angle Reflects On Survivor Series Debut

WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle took time to reflect on his Survivor Series debut back in 1999 which also marked his televised WWE in-ring debut when he beat Shawn Tastiak at the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, Michigan. He wrote the following on Twitter:

“19 years ago today, I had my very first match in WWE at #SurvivorSeries PPV. Fans were chanting “BORING, BORING”. So wait… I’ve gone from BORING chants to YOU SUCK chants??? I wouldn’t have it any other way. #itstrue.”

Alexa Bliss Could Be Sidelined For Significant Period Of Time

Alexa Bliss has still not been cleared to return to physical activity for WWE. Recently, it was announced that Bliss has suffered from several concussions over a short period of time. WWE officials want to be careful with her return. As a result, Bliss missed matches at Evolution and will not compete at Survivor Series.

However, she has stayed involved in storylines in non-physical roles. Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that WWE will hold Bliss out as long as necessary to ensure her safety. The company will keep Bliss in the mix, however, as they have been, in non-physical roles. Johnson also addressed the rumors regarding Bliss possibly retiring from in-ring competition.

Johnson said that hasn’t been confirmed to him by anybody. He did confirm, however, that there is “legitimate concern” that Bliss won’t be back in a physical role with WWE anytime soon. Johnson did say that all of that could change with one medical appointment, but much like Daniel Bryan’s past situation, she could be out-of-action for a significant amount of time.

He ended by saying there’s no definitive direction one way or the other on the situation. We’ll keep you updated on the matter as we learn more…

How long do you think Bliss will be held out of in-ring competition?

Alexa Bliss Injury Update

Alexa Bliss missed Evolution and will not compete at Survivor Series either due to injury. On the latest edition of Wrestling Observer radio, Dave Meltzer reported WWE officials are being cautious with her return as she has suffered multiple concussions in a short period of time.

“The situation is there’s been a lot of talk going on with her,” Meltzer said. “So it was not just a concussion, she’s actually had multiple concussions in a short period of time.”

Bliss hasn’t wrestled since an October 19 house show. She teamed with Mickie James that night in a losing effort to Ronda Rousey and Nia Jax. There were reports after the show that Bliss may have suffered either a concussion or a broken nose.

“So that’s why they’re so cautious with her right now,” Meltzer continued.

Bliss posted the following this afternoon:

Alexa Bliss On Ronda Rousey’s Title Reign Thus Far

Bliss had the following to say recently on Ronda Rousey’s title reign thus far.

“I am absolutely impressed, Bliss said. “She does really well at her facial expressions, which I appreciate because I am really big on facial expressions. It is really easy to appreciate the fact that you know she has been hit before, and you know that pain, you have that emotional connection to her one way or another when you watch her perform. I was very impressed with her match against Nia Jax, and also her match at WrestleMania with Stephanie McMahon and Triple H, it was just awesome. I am very proud of her and it’ll be fun to see where things go with that.”

Alexa Bliss Returning To Action This Weekend? WWE Superstars Dodge Crown Jewel Questions

Alexa Bliss Returning To Action This Weekend?

Alexa Bliss missed the Evolution PPV due to an injury, but it appears that the former Raw Women’s Champion may be returning to action soon.

Bliss is now being advertised for this weekend’s Live Events, and this could be considered an indication that she has been cleared to compete by the WWE Doctors.

Alexa Bliss suffered a concussion while wrestling at last Saturday’s Live Event and due to the injury, she was replaced by Alicia Fox in her Evolution tag match against Lita and Trish Stratus.

WWE Superstars Dodge Crown Jewel Questions

TMZ recently caught up with some WWE superstars flying to Saudi Arabia for the Crown Jewel PPV and most of them tried to avoid discussing controversial topics about the show.

When asked about John Cena and Daniel Bryan pulling out of the event, Sheamus claimed that he is excited to put on a great show for the people of Saudi Arabia, saying that this is what they do.

Similarly, when asked if he would like his wife Maryse to be able to wrestle in Saudi Arabia, the Miz said that he would like his wife to be with him all day. You can check out the full video below:

Becky Lynch Takes Shots At Alexa Bliss On Twitter

Smackdown Women’s Champion, Becky Lynch, has arguably the biggest match of her life coming up. At Survivor Series 2018, Lynch will go one-on-one with Ronda Rousey. She spent some time on Twitter recently taking a shot at one of Rousey’s former rivals, Alexa Bliss, however.

Bliss posted a note on Twitter regarding her cosplay hobby which got Lynch’s attention:

Lynch then took the opportunity to comment on Bliss’ recent injury woes:

Becky Lynch vs Alexa Bliss

In the early days of this brand-extension back in 2016, Lynch and Bliss faced each other often on Smackdown. From August 9th, 2016 to February 21st, 2017 they met each other 10x in single’s action. They haven’t faced each other in a single’s match since. Lynch leads the series 6-4. Bliss won the Smackdown Women’s Championship twice from Lynch while Lynch successfully defended the title against her once.

They have been in 3 multi-person matches together. Lynch won 6-Pack Challenge for the inaugural title in a match which also involved Bliss at Backlash 2016. Bliss won the 2018 Money in the Bank match which also involved Lynch. The other multi-person match they were both in was another 6-Pack Challenge at WrestleMania 33 which was won by Naomi.

Roman Reigns Appearance Set For Next Year, Vickie Guerrero Heading To WWE Evolution

– In the opening moments of Raw, Roman Reigns announced that he has been living with leukemia for 11 years and the disease’s return would force him to relinquish the Universal Championship and take a leave of absence from WWE. Reigns’ sabbatical from WWE apparently won’t prevent him from making appearances across the United States as ACE Comic Con announced today that he will appear at one of their events next year.

Reigns, Alexa Bliss, Charlotte Flair, and Lilian Garcia are among the celebrity guests scheduled to appear at ACE Comic Con Arizona on Friday, January 11, 2019, in Glendale, Arizona at Gila River Arena. Fans will have the opportunity to meet all four as they will be signing autographs and doing photo-ops. Garcia will also moderate Q&A panels with Reigns, Bliss, and Flair.

– You can add Vickie Guerrero to the list names who will be at WWE Evolution tomorrow night. The former WWE star revealed on Twitter that she will be there to work with the women who are performing on the show.

Alexa Bliss Not Wrestling At Evolution, Replacement Announced

We noted before how former Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss suffered another injury last weekend, putting her status for the upcoming Evolution PPV in question.

While Mickie James recently confirmed during an interview that Bliss will at least be at the event, her in-ring return was still up in the air.

Now WWE.com has confirmed that she won’t be wrestling at the PPV and the company released the following statement, announcing her replacement for the show:

“Although James was originally slated to team with Alexa Bliss, The Goddess will be replaced by the wily Fox in this blockbuster match-up, and will instead be in Mickie & Alicia’s corner.”

Alexa Bliss had been out of action since her match against Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey at the Hell In A Cell PPV where she suffered an arm injury.

She returned to action during Friday’s Live Event last week but word started making round that the former SmackDown Star suffered another injury during the weekend.

Later it was revealed that the former Champion suffered a concussion while wrestling at Saturday’s Live Event from Hartford, CT. WWE was still hoping for her to get cleared but now it’s confirmed that she won’t be wrestling at the show after all.

Alexa Bliss Confirmed For Evolution, In Ring Return Still Up In The Air

We noted before how Alexa Bliss hinted at Evolution appearance after suffering an injury last week and now her partner for the event Mickie James has confirmed her status for the show.

James was recently a guest on Busted Open Radio where she was asked if the former Raw Women’s Champion will be at the PPV and she said that Bliss will definitely be there on Sunday.

Continuing on the topic, Mickie claimed that she talks to Alexa every day and she is doing better. She also said that they are going to be out there and it’s going to be amazing.

As far as Bliss’ in-ring return goes, Pwinsider confirmed the reports of her injury and revealed that she has been kept away from the WWE programming in order to give her rest so she can be ready for Evolution.

While it’s not 100% confirmed, the belief is that the former Champion will be ready in time for her match against Lita and Trish Stratus at the upcoming show this Sunday.

Though as we noted before, Alicia Fox was also a part of the Raw segment this week involving both the mentioned Hall Of Famers. It’s possible that she will replace Alexa if she is not cleared in time for the historic PPV.

As of this writing, Alexa Bliss is still scheduled to team up with Mickie James and compete against Lita and Trish Stratus in a tag match at Evolution.

Shane McMahon Responds To CM Punk Chants, Alexa Bliss Hints At Evolution Appearance

Shane McMahon Responds To CM Punk Chants

WWE is expected to hold a Best In The World tournament at the upcoming Crown Jewel event and we all know that this was also the catchphrase of the former WWE Champion CM Punk.

So it was natural that a CM Punk chant broke out in the arena during the latest episode of SmackDown Live while Shane McMahon was promoting the upcoming tournament in a segment.

The SmackDown Commissioner responded to these chants from the crowd saying ‘I don’t think he is in the tournament’. You can check out his reply in the below video at the 1:15 minute mark:

Alexa Bliss Hints At Evolution Appearance

We noted before how Alexa Bliss suffered a concussion during a WWE Live Event this past Saturday, putting her status for the upcoming Evolution PPV in question.

Bliss then recently posted a photo from her Twitter account. She promotes a new headband in the photo as seen below and also hints that she will be at the upcoming PPV this Sunday:

Though this doesn’t necessarily mean that she will be wrestling at the show. Based on this week’s Raw, it appears Alicia Fox could be her replacement if Alexa is not cleared in time for the historic event.

Alexa Bliss Injured Again

Alexa Bliss had been out of action in past few weeks due to a reported arm injury. She only returned to action this past Friday night but word is that she is already out with another injury.

According to F4Wonline.com, Bliss suffered another injury while competing at Saturday’s Live Event from Hartford, CT. Word is that the former Raw Women’s Champion suffered a concussion during the show but the site was unable to confirm these reports.

It’s worth mentioning here that some Twitter accounts are claiming that Bliss broke her nose instead, though there doesn’t appear to be a solid source to these rumors.

Alexa Bliss had been out of action since the Hell In A Cell PPV last month where she challenged Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey for her title.

It was noted that she was taken out of an active schedule after she began complaining about numbness in her arm following the PPV.

There is no news yet on if Bliss will stay out action for long and how will it affect her announced match for the upcoming Evolution PPV but we’ll keep you posted.

As of this writing, Alexa Bliss is still scheduled to team up with Mickie James to face Hall of Famers Lita and Trish Stratus at the Women’s exclusive PPV this Sunday.

Alexa Bliss Opens Up On Her Match Against Trish Stratus At Evolution Being Changed

Alexa Bliss recently appeared on Chasing Glory with Lilian Garcia to talk about various topics including WWE originally announcing that she would face WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus at the upcoming Evolution pay-per-view event and how she found out about it.

The former WWE RAW Women’s Champion brought up how she always wanted a singles match against Stratus and has said that in several interviews. She found out about the match on Twitter and thought it was fake at first but then realized it was real once WWE tweeted about it. She continued by stating, “We didn’t know we would be facing each other. It was made into a tag match” She thinks it’s awesome because what’s better than being in the ring with one legend. She thinks being in the ring with Lita, Stratus and Mickie James is cool and excited for it.

Bliss was also asked why she thinks that this match was turned into a tag team match where it will now be Lita and Stratus vs. Bliss and James. “I have no idea. I know there was a lot of speculation on social media because I was injured or this,” she said.

Bliss would continue by stating that she thinks it was just the direction that WWE wanted to go in because they were told about it earlier in the day before it was made public. She added that no reason was given but that it’s exciting as she feels like it needed to be done because of Trish and Mickie’s history.

“I feel like that saw that from a creative standpoint and saw the value in that and wanted to go with it.” She added that there wasn’t anything that happened that turned it into a tag match but instead, thinks it was just what they wanted to do.

Alexa Bliss Injury Update

Alexa Bliss has been out of action since Hell in a Cell. After losing a match to Ronda Rousey, Bliss began complaining of numbness in her arm. It’s not clear if that was her actual injury or whether it was to sell Rousey’s armbar, however.

According to a recent report from the Wrestling Observer, Bliss will be back in action this weekend at house shows.

“Bliss is scheduled back on the road for the house shows this weekend,” wrote Dave Meltzer. “She hasn’t wrestled since the Rousey match at Hell in a Cell on 9/16 due to an injury that had caused numbness in her arm.”

Alexa Bliss At Evolution

Bliss’ return to the lineup comes just in time for her program at Evolution. Bliss is scheduled to team with Mickie James to go up against Lita and Trish Stratus. The match was originally announced as two separate single’s contests but was later changed.

Lita recently spoke to UpRoxx regarding the all-female PPV and how she found out she’d be on it.

“We were told a while ago that there was going to be an all-women pay-per-view and they were still getting it together, but they asked if I’d be interested in being a part of it in some capacity – and I told them to count me in. That’s pretty much all the conversation was. I didn’t know if I’d be doing commentary or even just being invited to attend to support the women. And then I found out when you all did that Mickie James would be my opponent and I would not just be a part of Evolution but I’d actually be in the ring. That’s when you just hold your breath and go with it.”

Alexa Bliss & Mickie James Promote WWE Evolution At American Music Awards (Video)

Alexa Bliss and Mickie James were in Los Angeles for the American Music Awards recently. The event was held at the Microsoft Theatre on October 9th, 2018.

“I don’t know how you feel about Team In-Your-Dreams owning the red carpet here in LA,” Mickie James said. “But somebody’s gotta do it.”

When the topic of Alexa and Mickie James teaming up to take on Lita and Trish Stratus.

“We’re on the red carpet right now and where are they?” Bliss asked. James and Bliss then each answered they were at home.

Mickie James and Alexa Bliss At the American Music Awards

It was originally announced that Bliss would be taking on Trish Stratus and Lita facing Mickie James. This surprised some as older fans may have been looking forward to a possible Mickie James vs Trish Stratus rematch from their classic WrestleMania 22 tilt. James referenced their Mania moment this week on Raw when she mentioned that both her and Trish know “Nothing good happens in Chicago.” WrestleMania 22 was held in Chicago’s Allstate Arena.

It was later reported that the tag match was always what WWE wanted to go with. They only announced the single’s matches as they couldn’t yet announce Nikki Bella vs Ronda Rousey as the main event.

Trish Stratus & Lita Could Stick Around After Evolution

WWE Hall Of Famers Lita and Trish Stratus will return to the ring later this month (Sun. October 28th, 2018). The pair will be involved in the first-ever all-female pay-per-view (PPV) in WWE history. They will team up against the duo of Alexa Bliss and Mickie James.

Initially, Trish and Lita were scheduled to have their own singles matches on the card. Trish was to have a one-on-one match with Bliss, while Lita was booked for a singles match with James. However, as the storyline progressed on WWE TV, it was revealed on RAW this week that the match would instead be a Tag Team bout.

It looks like this could be just the first of many Tag Teams between Trish and Lita. PWInsider reports that WWE is planning to have the two stick around after Evolution. The plan would be to have them appear on “major shows” as a team moving forward.

It wasn’t specifically mentioned which shows WWE is hoping for, however, obvious candidates such as Survivor Series and WrestleMania come to mind. This is also very interesting considering the rumors surrounding possible Women’s Tag Team Titles coming to WWE.

What do you think about Trish and Lita sticking around WWE as a team?

Alexa Bliss Reveals Her Favorite Opponent

Lil’ Miss Bliss, Alexa Bliss, was asked a pretty direct question during a recent interview. The former WWE Raw Women’s Champion didn’t take long to respond.

When asked by the host her favorite opponent is, Bliss paused momentarily before replying, “My favorite opponent so far has to have been Becky Lynch.”

“I had my first rivalry with her when coming into the main roster and it was a lot of fun,” she explained. “And I feel like, without Becky being such a great counterpart I wouldn’t have been able to be the villain that I knew I could be.”

“It’s Been A Long Time Coming For Becky”

It was reported last month that Alexa was a big fan of Becky’s “attitude change,” admitting that she felt “it’s [turning heel] been a long time coming for Becky.”

“I think that attitude change is what she’s needed,” Bliss noted. “The attitude change really allows her to show that. Where, before, she was restricted. I think it just fits her far better.”

WWE Evolution

Despite having suffered from numbness in her left arm, Alexa Bliss has been cleared for “minimal contact.” She is still scheduled to face off against Trish Stratus in a one-on-one match at WWE Evolution. Evolution takes place October 28th from Uniondale, New York.

Surprised by her choice of favorite opponent? Who would you have thought, if not Becky Lynch?

Alexa Bliss Injury Update

The latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio provided an Alexa Bliss injury update. Although short on specifics, Dave Meltzer provided a notable report on Bliss’s current status.

“She’s cleared for minimal contact” Meltzer said on the Tuesday morning edition of Observer Radio (subscription required). “But she’s not cleared to fully wrestle.”

Bliss has not wrestled since the Hell in a Cell show on September 16. Her absence from the ring is linked to her reportedly suffering from numbness in her left arm.

That injury is just one of several that have plagued the Raw women’s roster of late. Sasha Banks is currently out due to undisclosed medical reasons.

Liv Morgan was also injured during a match on Raw Monday after eating a pair of kicks to the face.

Mickie James also missed time in July and August, reportedly due to an undisclosed injury. Ruby Riott also missed time this summer with a knee injury.

After seemingly ending her program with Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey, Bliss looked on from ringside on Monday Night Raw as Nia Jax took on Alicia Fox.

Bliss is still slated to take on WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus at the WWE Evolution show, set for October 28.

Who should Bliss face after her match with Trish? Do you take this Alexa Bliss injury update as good news?

Alexa Bliss Injured, Pulled From Mixed Match Challenge & Live Events

WWE is reporting that Alexa Bliss has withdrawn from the Mixed Match Challenge Season 2 tournament due to injury. In a video statement released on Tuesday morning, Cathy Kelly revealed that Bliss woke up today with numbness in her arm.

“Despite appearing on Monday Night Raw last night, Alexa Bliss woke up this morning and sought medical attention complaining about numbness in her left arm,” Kelley said. “As a reminder, Alexa had a match against the Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey this past Sunday night at WWE Hell in a Cell where Alexa tapped to the champion’s armbar. We can officially announce at this time that Alexa Bliss has not been medically cleared to compete at the WWE live events this weekend or in tonight’s WWE Mixed Match Challenge.”

We are asking around to get clarification as to whether this is a storyline to sell the effects of Rousey’s finisher or a legitimate injury.

With Alexa Bliss injured, Braun Strowman’s new partner for the Mixed Match Challenge tournament will be Ember Moon. They will face Kevin Owens and Natalya on tonight’s Season 2 premiere.

Mixed Match Challenge Season 2 premieres tonight on Facebook Live after SmackDown Live.

Alexa Bliss Discusses Having Dream Match Against Trish Stratus At WWE Evolution

Alexa Bliss expressed her happiness with the WWE booking her in a match that she has dreamed about for years.

The former WWE RAW Women’s Champion did an interview with Sky Sports where she talked about her match with WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus at the upcoming Evolution pay-per-view event.

“I’ve been very fortunate with WWE because they’ve given me many opportunities,” said Bliss. “I’ve been fortunate with them all but I am very, very excited for this match.”

She would continue by stating that it’s definitely a dream match for her and that she knows that people wanted this match. Bliss added that WWE trusted her to have this match and is honored by it as she thinks it will be great and is a personal accomplishment for her.

WWE Evolution takes place on Sunday, October 28th from Long Island, New York at the Nassau Coliseum. The show will stream live on the WWE Network. Also announced for this show is Lita vs. Mickie James in a singles match.

Bliss is slated to challenge Ronda Rousey for the RAW Women’s Title at this Sunday’s Hell in a Cell pay-per-view. Our staff has released their predictions for this show, which you can see here.

Alexa Bliss Comments On Becky Lynch’s “Attitude Adjustment”

Whilst on a recent media call, ex-Raw Women’s Champion, Alexa Bliss, commented on Becky Lynch’s recent “attitude change.” Bliss said that she was “always in favour when someone has a certain attitude adjustment and she undergoes a change,” before she confessed, “I think it’s been a long time coming for Becky.”

“I think that attitude change is what she’s needed,” Bliss noted, before praising Lynch’s fire and spark. “The attitude change really allows her to show that. Where, before, she was restricted. I think it just fits her far better.”

Becky Lynch turned on her former best friend, Charlotte Flair, after the end of their triple threat match at SummerSlam in August.  Flair would hit her signature move, the Natural Selection, on her friend as Lynch was moments away from making Carmella tap out to her finisher, the Dis-Arm-Her.

Since that moment, the two have been sniping back and forth as tensions continue to rise, with fan support seemingly firmly with Becky, as we head towards their eagerly anticipated confrontation at Hell In A Cell this Sunday.

Hell In A Cell also sees Alexa Bliss receive her mandatory rematch against former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion, and current WWE Raw Women’s champion, “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey. Rousey bested Bliss for the championship at SummerSlam.

Join us here this Sunday for WWE Hell in a Cell Results & Live Coverage.

Alexa Bliss On Her Initial Reaction To WWE Signing Ronda Rousey

WWE Superstar Ronda Rousey recently took part in a media conference call to promote the Hell In A Cell (HIAC) pay-per-view (PPV). During the call, Bliss talked about her ongoing rivalry with Ronda Rousey.

Rousey defeated Bliss for the RAW Women’s Championship at SummerSlam last month. Now Bliss will get her rematch for the title this Sunday in Texas.

Bliss talked about WWE signing Rousey, their match at HIAC, and what she needs to do to end Rousey’s dominance in WWE. Here are the highlights:

Ronda Rousey’s arrival to the WWE boosted the women’s evolution. When did you know about Ronda coming to the WWE, and what was your initial reaction?

“I think it’s great. I’ve said it before, that I think if we can have any woman from any other background to come into the WWE, it makes it better for the performers. So, I’ve been a fan of it since day one.”

With all the hype surrounding Ronda Rousey, how big of an opportunity is it for you to establish yourself as the most dominant women’s athlete by beating her at the Hell In A Cell pay–per–view?

“Obviously, I have some things to work on. SummerSlam did not go according to plan, so it’s time to look back and see what I did wrong, and find Ronda’s weakness, work on it, and figure out a way to get my title back, because that would probably legitimize my (spot) as the most dominant champion at that point.”

Ronda Rousey came to the WWE with a chip on her shoulder, but has been dominant thus far. What do you think it would take to finally end her dominance in the company?

“I think, for me, it would be to show that Ronda’s not really the baddest woman on the planet, and that the baddest woman on the planet is still beatable – I said the same thing about Asuka, that there is no such thing as ‘unbeatable’; I might be the one to prove that with Ronda. That would be the most amazing thing for me.”

Alexa Bliss Says She’s Preparing For Ronda Rousey Rematch

WWE Superstar Alexa Bliss was interviewed by the CT Post during her appearance at the Connecticut Open.

Bliss comes off a RAW Women’s Title loss to Ronda Rousey at SummerSlam over the weekend. She admitted that if anyone had to take the title off of her, at least it was Ronda Rousey. Not many get to say that they shared the ring with the female mixed martial arts (MMA) pioneer:

“My thing on the whole situation is if there’s anyone that had to take the title from me at least it was Ronda Rousey,” Bliss said.

“Not many people can say they had their first big title loss to Ronda Rousey. I guess I’m OK.”

Bliss pointed out that she still has a rematch clause that she looks to invoke soon. She says she’s currently preparing for the rematch but doesn’t know quite yet when it will take place:

“But I do have a rematch clause that I get to invoke at any point,” said Bliss. “Every champion is entitled to a rematch. I am preparing for that. I don’t know when it’s going to happen. She’s going to hold the title for now, but she’s not going to hold it for long.”

WWE Evolution

Aside from a pending rematch with Rousey, Bliss has another high-profile match on the horizon. She has been announced to be facing Hall Of Famer Trish Stratus at WWE Evolution. The pay-per-view (PPV) is WWE’s first all-female show in history:

“It’s very exciting,” said Bliss. “I’ve always loved Trish, I always watched Trish growing up. I actually got to meet her for the first time at the Women’s World Rumble Match.

“I wasn’t able to be part of it because I was holding a title at the time. I’m really excited to be in the ring with her, to have this match with an idol.

“I really want to work with Trish. I’ve worked hard for this. It might be a little harder to get mad and mean at Trish.”

Alexa Bliss Reveals How She Found Out About Facing Trish Stratus At WWE Evolution

Former WWE RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss has opened up on how she found out that she would be facing a WWE Hall of Famer at the Evolution show.

Over the weekend, the company made it official by announcing that Bliss would take on Trish Stratus at the first-ever all-women’s Evolution pay-per-view event. WWE has released this video of Bliss talking about the match, which was recorded prior to her losing the RAW Women’s Title to Ronda Rousey at Sunday’s (August 19, 2018) WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view event in Brooklyn, New York at the Barclays Center on the WWE Network.

“I found out like everyone else did on Twitter, Bliss said. She continued by stating that it was pretty cool and really exciting as she was surprised by it because she loves Stratus as she watched her growing up.

She added that she’s really excited to have this chance as she wasn’t able to compete in the Women’s Royal Rumble match in January at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view event.

The Evolution pay-per-view event takes place on Sunday, October 28, 2018 in Long Island, New York at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum and will air on the WWE Network.
