WWE Alum Alicia Fox Marries Muscian Partner In Beachside Ceremony

Alicia Fox was part of WWE’s women’s division for years, and while she’s since parted ways with the company, her life has continued to flourish. This month, Fox celebrated a new chapter by tying the knot with her longtime partner, musician Michael Fitzgerald of Darkhorse Saloon.

On Instagram, the pair shared the happy news, posting photos and videos from the couple’s beach wedding. Several wrestlers shared their congratulations including Kelly Kelly, Jessika Havok, and WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax.

Fox and Fitzgerald began dating years ago and shared in 2022 that they were engaged. That same year, Fox made a one-night return to WWE as part of that year’s Women’s Royal Rumble match which was won by the returning Ronda Rousey.

Alicia Fox

In May 2023, Fox confirmed that she was no longer with WWE, ending a 17-year tenure with the company that saw her become the first African-American Divas Champion. In April of this year, Fox, now working as Vix Crow, made her return to the ring at Starrcast’s HER event in Ballarat, Australia, where she defeated Mickie James. She has also worked against Hyan and Seleziya Sparx and has also appeared for Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling promotion.

We here at SEScoops would like to congratulate Fox and Fitzgerald on this joyous occasion and we are sending our absolute best wishes to the pair.

Vix Crow (Alicia Fox) Victorious In First Wrestling Match in Years at Starrcast: Down Under

Vix Crow, better known to fans as WWE’s Alicia Fox, proved she’s still got ‘it’ with an impressive victory in her first wrestling match in a very long time.

Crow competed against fellow WWE alum Mickie James at the all-female Starrcast: Down Under ‘HER’ event. As seen in the match highlights below, Crow hadn’t lost a step when she defeated the former WWE & TNA Women’s Champion.

This match was Crow’s first official match in wrestling since January 2022 when she was a surprise entrant in the WWE Women’s Royal Rumble match won by Ronda Rousey (which also featured James.) The match at ‘HER’ was Crow’s first singles match since the April 22, 2019, edition of WWE Monday Night Raw, where she lost to Becky Lynch. Her previous singles victory was back on the July 30, 2018, episode of Raw where she defeated Natalya.

Vix Crow is Back

Crow was with WWE for over a decade but confirmed in May 2023 that she was a free agent. Crow later admitted that she felt bad about how things ended with WWE as there was a lack of communication by the promotion over her status on the roster.

Whether Vix Crow wrestles again or if her role at Starrcast was a one-off remains to be seen. In the past, the former WWE Divas & 24/7 Champion has shown interest in facing off with Deonna Purrazzo and Ruby Soho, both of whom are with AEW. Whatever the future holds, Crow remains in great ring condition which certainly bodes well for her future.

Alicia Fox Is Back: Vix Crow Emerges from Retirement for Blockbuster Match Against Bona Fide Legend

It’s very difficult to retire from pro wrestling forever, and many legends and WWE Hall of Famers can attest to that. Now, Alicia Fox is dusting off her wrestling boots, because Foxxy is making a return to the squared circle.

Alicia Fox, now wrestling as Vix Crow, is poised to return to the ring for her first singles match in five years, facing former WWE star Mickie James. The match, announced on “Gabby AF,” marks their first singles encounter since October 2009.

Vix Crow Making Pro Wrestling Return

A former WWE star is set to return to the wrestling ring after a hiatus of five years, marking her debut in a singles match. Alicia Fox has a new name now, but it seems that it’s the same Foxxy we knew for years.

Now wrestling under the name Vix Crow, she is set to make her comeback. She also has a legendary opponent to do it with.

Recently announced on “Gabby AF,” Fox is scheduled to face off against fellow former WWE star Mickie James in a singles match. This bout marks a significant reunion between the two, as they haven’t squared off in a singles match since October 2009.

Who is Alicia Fox/ Vix Crow

Alicia Fox joined WWE back in 2008 and soon became a featured figure on the main roster, notably on the ECW brand. In 2010, Fox clinched the Divas Championship title, triumphing in a Fatal 4-Way contest against Gail Kim, Eve Torres, and Maryse.

After her last WWE appearance in January 2022, where she made a surprise appearance in the Women’s Royal Rumble match, Fox’s return to in-ring action has garnered attention. In addition to her tenure in WWE, Fox also participated in a Reality of Wrestling event in 2023.

This match also signifies Fox’s inaugural singles bout since April 2019, where she was defeated by Becky Lynch on an episode of Raw.

SEScoops will have more on this story, and so much more. You never know what will break next, but we will be here with all the headlines you need.

Former WWE Star Alicia Fox Gets Engaged (Photos)

Alicia Fox has been away from the public eye for the last few years, but she was back on the radar today with some wonderful news.

“Yesterday was a perfect day,” he wrote in the caption. “She said Yes!!!” A series of photos were included of the couple celebrating their engagement.

The photos also show off Fox’s new engagement ring, which put her extensive arm tattoos on display she appears to have added since leaving WWE. Fox’s fiance is a musician and surfer. Fox was congratulated by WWE stars such as Mickie James and Natalya in the comments.

Over the years, Fox has been open about her battles with alcoholism and the incident involving then-WWE producer Arn Anderson, who allowed her to wrestle while intoxicated.

WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross noted on social media earlier this year that Fox has been clean and sober for three years. Fox was quietly moved to the alumni section of WWE’s roster in October 2019, having been with the company since her pro wrestling debut in 2006.

Her most recent WWE appearance was this past January by working the Women’s Royal Rumble match as a surprise participant. Congratulations to the happy couple.

Alicia Fox Celebrates 6-Months In Recovery

Victoria Crawford, better known to wrestling fans as Alicia Fox, is celebrating 6-months of recovery. The former Divas Champion took to social media to comment on her accomplishment.

Fox’s status as an active wrestler in WWE is unclear. Her profile was moved to WWE.com’s alumni section in October last year but no formal announcement of her retirement has been made.

Last November, Fox posted the following to her Instagram account and spoke about being 2-months sober at the time.

Alicia Fox In WWE

It was reported last summer that Fox was sent home following an incident with a fan.

Arn Anderson’s firing from WWE last year is said to have been related to Fox as well. Anderson is said to have been released for allowing Fox to work while intoxicated.

Fox has had a lengthy run in WWE, first signing with the company in 2006. She made her main roster debut in 2008. She is a former Divas and OVW Champion. From 2006 until 2019, Fox wrestled in 1012 matches with WWE, Ohio Valley Wrestling, or Florida Championship Wrestling. Her overall record is 330W-680-2D.

Alicia Fox Moved To Alumni Section On WWE’s Website

Alicia Fox hasn’t been seen on WWE programming lately and wasn’t even in the WWE Draft. She was still listed as an active Superstar on WWE’s website, however, but it looks like she’s apparently done with the company as her profile has been moved to the Alumni section.

The Alumni section on WWE.com is usually for former wrestlers of the WWE roster. It has not been officially confirmed if she has been released, however.

Alicia Fox is listed in the WWE Alumni section on the company’s website.

Fox’s last appearance on WWE programming was on stage with WWE Legends at the Raw Reunion. She was stood between Eric Bischoff and Jerry “The King” Lawler as Hulk Hogan spoke to the WWE Universe.

Fox was reportedly sent home over SummerSlam weekend having been involved in an incident with a fan while being intoxicated.

This would not the first time Fox and incidents involving alcohol. It was reported earlier this spring that Arn Anderson was let go after allowing Fox to work a match while inebriated. According to the report, Fox showed up at the live event intoxicated. Anderson was the agent for her match and allowed her to perform that night, which didn’t go well with Vince McMahon.

Fox has been a part of WWE since 2006 and has been a one-time Divas Champion. Her last match took place on Main Event on 24 April which was a tag team match where she teamed up with Tamina in a losing effort against The IIconics.

Alicia Fox Reportedly Sent Home After Incident With Fan

It is being reported that Alicia Fox was sent home during SummerSlam weekend. Casey Michael of Squared Circle Sirens posted to Twitter that Fox is alleged to have been involved in an incident with a fan and that alcohol was a contributing factor.

“Hearing she was sent home after an ‘incident,'” he continued in a further Tweet. “Something happened with a fan. Either a fight or just them yelling at one another and someone had to intervene in the situation.”

Alicia Fox’s WWE Status

This is not the first time Fox has been allegedly involved in an incident involving alcohol. It was reported earlier this spring that Arn Anderson was let go after allowing Fox to work a match while inebriated.

Fox was also reported to have been involved in an altercation with Travis Browne over WrestleMania 34 weekend. She was last seen on WWE programming on the RAW Reunion show last month which led to speculation that she was now a RAW alumni and no longer an active competitor.

Fox’s last official wrestling match was for an episode of Main Event taped on April 29th, 2019. She teamed with Tamina in losing fashion to the Iiconics.

Speculation Over Alicia Fox’s WWE Status

It appears as though WWE Superstar Alicia Fox may have retired from active in-ring competition.

Fox, who has been a long-serving member of WWE’s Women’s division since 2006, featured in backstage segments with WWE Legends during last night’s RAW Reunion.

Most notably, she was on stage with the Legends during the final segment of the show. She was stood between Eric Bischoff and Jerry “The King” Lawler as Hulk Hogan spoke to the WWE Universe.

Commenting on Fox’s inclusion amongst the WWE Legends, Dave Meltzer said the following on Wrestling Observer Radio:

“Evidently, Alicia Fox is no longer an active wrestler. She was in every segment. I mean, she hasn’t wrestled in months but they never formally released her. So, maybe the idea is, like, because they never release anyone, so I guess the idea, maybe, is that she’s not going to wrestle anymore but she’s still under contract. She was very clearly not a member of the active roster. She was out there at the end of the show on the ramp with only the legends. She was a legend here on this show.”

At the time of writing, nothing has been confirmed by WWE or Alicia Fox, though her inclusion amongst the Legends certainly indicates she may be done wrestling in WWE.

Raw Star Pulled From Women’s Battle Royal, MYC Competitor Suffers Severe Leg Injury

– WWE has pulled Alicia Fox from tonight’s Historic Women’s Battle Royal Match at Evolution after announcing on Friday that she would be replacing Alexa Bliss in a tag team match due to injury.

The official WWE website updated its preview for the Historic Women’s Battle Royal Match and Fox is no longer advertised. This brings the number of scheduled competitors to 20. They are Asuka, Naomi, Carmella, Nia Jax, Ember Moon, Dana Brooke, Lana, Billie Kay, Peyton Royce, Mandy Rose, Sonya Deville, Tamina, Torrie Wilson, Michelle McCool, Alundra Blayze, Ivory, Molly Holly, Kelly Kelly, Maria Kanellis, and Zelina Vega. The winner earns a future Women’s Championship Match.

Fox will team up with Mickie James against Trish Stratus and Lita. Bliss will be present in Fox and James’ corner.

– Vanessa Kraven, who competed in Mae Young Classic 2018, suffered a severe injury to her left leg last night at an independent wrestling event in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. As a result, she has canceled all of her scheduled bookings for the remainder of the year.

Kraven wrote this morning on Facebook, “Let me start by saying that this year has been a pretty good year for me wrestling-wise. Last night, coming back to Ottawa for Acclaim pro wrestling for the 1st time after my MYC appearance, the wonderful reaction from the fans put me on a high right from my entrance!

“I’m not sure if any of you in attendance saw that something was wrong after I won my match, but there was, and I didn’t want to say anything until I got the official word.

“Unfortunately, my left leg suffered a severe torquing during a move while my foot stayed more or less planted on the canvas, resulting in both a fracture and break in my lower leg. I went to the hospital and currently have a fiberglass support “cast” on it and will be getting a full cast put on tomorrow. I won’t know how long the cast will have to be on until tomorrow but I’m unfortunately having to at least cancel my wrestling bookings for the rest of 2018… highly likely some of 2019 as well.”

Kraven wrestled one match in the Mae Young Classic, which resulted in a loss to Lacey Lane in the First Round.

– Ahead of WWE Mixed Match Challenge, Jinder Mahal tries to teach Alicia Fox his breathing and relaxation techniques backstage at tonight’s WWE live event in Corpus Christi, Texas. Fox, however, thinks his teachings mean something else.

Alicia Fox Changes Her Look (Photos), Maria Kanellis Injury Update, Zelina Vega and Lilian Garcia

– Paige isn’t the only WWE star to change up her look this past week as Alicia Fox did as well.

After accompanying Alexa Bliss on Raw last Monday, Fox bleached most of her hair blonde. She showed off her new look at live events over the weekend and on Instagram.

https://instagram.com/p/BnhJjG2hWAO/

– Maria Kanellis revealed on Instagram on August 9 that she suffered a broken wrist while training for her in-ring return and would be in a cast for six weeks. In an update on the situation, Kanellis revealed on Friday that she is no longer wearing a cast.

https://instagram.com/p/BncYatuAosf/

Kanellis has indicated that she would like to wrestle at WWE’s first all-women’s pay-per-view event, WWE Evolution, on October 28.

– Zelina Vega is Lilian Garcia’s next guest on Chasing Glory with Lilian Garcia and the interview promises to be emotional. You can listen to it today via LilianGarcia.com.

Ronda Rousey vs. Alicia Fox Likely To Headline Tonight’s RAW

Ronda Rousey vs. Alicia Fox is likely to headline tonight’s episode of Monday Night RAW from Jacksonville, Florida.

Rousey vs. Fox will be the former UFC women’s bantamweight champion’s first match-up on Monday Nights. Given Fox’s real-life issues with Rousey’s husband from several months ago, it’s an interesting selection to welcome Rousey to the RAW ring to say the least.

Per Cageside Seats, Rousey is expected to win her match against Fox in impressive fashion to close out the show. “The Rowdy One” will challenge Alexa Bliss for the RAW Women’s Championship at SummerSlam later this month.
[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZNQMEjbr-JA]

Rousey’s WWE Run

Rousey debuted inside the WWE ring at WrestleMania 34 this past April. She teamed up with Hall Of Famer and RAW General Manager Kurt Angle. The pair of former Olympians defeated Triple H and Stephanie McMahon in a Mixed Tag Team match. The bout arguably stole the show.

A few months later, Rousey returned to pay-per-view (PPV) competition, this time challenging Nia Jax for the RAW Women’s Title. The match went down at the Money In The Bank (MITB) PPV. At one point, Rousey was on the verge of winning the title.

Just before she could lock in her signature armbar, however, MITB briefcase winner Alexa Bliss attacked both women and cashed-in. Bliss pinned Jax for the win and left Chicago RAW Women’s Champion.

Now Rousey will get her shot at vengeance when she takes on “Little Miss Bliss” on August 19th from the Barclays Center.

Alicia Fox On Advice She Received From Vince McMahon

Alicia Fox will welcome Ronda Rousey to the Monday Night RAW ring next week.

Fox will go one-on-one with “The Rowdy One” in her first match on the program. Fox is one of the more rambunctious female characters in WWE. While most would describe her character as “crazy,” Fox prefers using words such as “sassy” and “firecracker.”

She recently spoke to Void Magazine and described her TV character. Fox also revealed some pointers she received from Vince McMahon. “The Chairman Of The Board” told Fox to go crazy, tear things up and mess with the announcers:

“My character, well, she’s I guess kind of sassy. Her thing is like, “fancy as a fox.” [laughs]. I’ve developed into this like off the wall, firecracker. The word ‘crazy’ might not capture it. But I came back from injury and turned into a heel [bad guy].

“We’ve been reintroducing the character. I’ve been bullying people. It’s really fun to play the bad guy, the coward. I get the crowd riled up, throw drinks at them [laughs]. It started in one match, where they told me just to throw a fit. [WWE Executive] Vince [McMahon] told me to just go crazy, tear things up, knock the announcer’s hat off his head.

“Throw iPads in water. So after my match, I didn’t know how it was going to go, but I just did it. And the crowd really reacted. It was this whole mood swing. It really worked.”

Authors Of Pain & Alicia Fox Return To WWE TV, SmackDown Live Promo

Authors Of Pain & Alicia Fox Return To WWE TV

As seen on this week’s episode of WWE Monday Night RAW in San Diego, CA at the Valley View Casino Center on the USA Network, Alicia Fox as well as The Authors Of Pain made their return to WWE television.

First, Fox appeared in a backstage segment with Bayley. If you recall, she had been off of WWE TV since January when she took time off due to a tailbone injury.

Switching gears to AOP, they won a squash match over the Gibson Brothers. Prior to the match, they had a run-in with Titus Worldwide. After the match, AOP beat down the jobbers until Titus Worldwide ran out to the ring to make the save.

SmackDown Promo

As noted, SmackDown General Manager Paige announced over the weekend that Jeff Hardy would defend the United States Title against Shinsuke Nakamura in Ontario, CA at the Citizens Business Bank Arena for this week’s episode of SmackDown Live on the USA Network.

As of this writing, the WWE has yet to reveal any other matches for the show. Here is the promo for the show:

Elimination Chamber Tickets Continue To Sell Poorly, Alicia Fox Reveals That She’s Single Again

– As we’ve mentioned before, WWE decided to have Ronda Rousey sign her RAW contract at this weekend’s Elimination Chamber pay-per-view (PPV) because tickets for the event weren’t doing well. It seems that adding Rousey hasn’t helped as much as they’d have liked.

Ticket sales remain low and AXS is now offering a two-for-one special on tickets. Purchase those tickets here. It should also be mentioned low ticket sales are the reason WWE is getting rid of brand-exclusive PPV events.

– It looks like Alicia Fox is single again. She took to Instagram and said she’d been “been bamboozled by a #basic bitch” and is back on the market:

Seth Rollins Reportedly Working Hurt, Injury Update On Alicia Fox

– It seems that Seth Rollins has been dealing with a back injury for some time now. Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that it’s currently unknown if “The Architect” will miss any ring time but it seems like for now he’s working through it. Rollins’ partner, Jason Jordan, is also dealing with an injury of his own. Jordan’s injury, however, is a neck injury and he has reportedly been having trouble with his grip.

– Alicia Fox suffered a broken tailbone prior to the Royal Rumble pay-per-view (PPV) and missed out on the first-ever Women’s Royal Rumble match. PWInsider reports Fox is expected to miss several months from in-ring competition, and she’s very upset about missing the Women’s Rumble.

Alicia Fox Injury Update, WWE Royal Rumble Opening Video, Nigel McGuinness

– Below is the opening video package used for the 2018 WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view in Philadelphia:

[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cRysPyXqDPc?rel=0&w=560&h=315]

– As noted, Nigel McGuinness did not call Saturday’s WWE NXT “Takeover: Philadelphia” event as he was under the weather. F4Wonline.com notes that Nigel is currently recovering from the flu. Takeover was called by Mauro Ranallo and Percy Watson.

– As noted, Alicia Fox was pulled from the first-ever women’s Royal Rumble match due to an injury. WWE reports that Fox is suffering from a broken tailbone. A new Mixed Match Challenge partner for Goldust should be revealed this week. Fox wrote the following on missing tonight’s big match:

Superstar Pulled From Women’s Royal Rumble Match Due To Injury

RAW General Manager Kurt Angle announced on Sunday night that Alicia Fox has been pulled from tonight’s historic Women’s Royal Rumble match due to injury.

With Alicia Fox no longer cleared to compete, only 17 out of the 30 participants have been confirmed for the Women’s Rumble.

The nature of her injury has been been revealed, but Angle stated that Fox’s condition will prevent her from competing in Mixed Match Challenge as well. As a result, Goldust will select a new partner.

What’s strange is that Alicia Fox has been active on social media all weekend and expressing excitement for the Women’s Rumble. On Saturday, Alicia Fox posted a photo on Instagram with a caption stating that she was “#Royalrumble ready.”  On Sunday morning, just hours before Angle’s announcement about her injury, she posted another photo on Instagram after getting her makeup done backstage for tonight’s PPV.

Alicia Fox has since confirmed the news with the following message:

Original Plans For Raw Match, Enzo Amore Says He Is The Hardest Working Man In WWE

– The current Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore recently posted a photo from his Instagram account of WWE Night at the Los Angeles Clippers NBA game. In the caption of the photo as seen below, he claimed that he is the ‘hardest working man in WWE’:

“Your looking at “The Marianara Rivera of the WWE” …. #TheRealestChamp defends his title every Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, & closes it out in the #MainEvent of the #ZoShow (aka #205Live,) every damn Tuesday. Now I know I told you kids to “work smarter- not harder,” but that’s only because I’m a #CertifiedG.. & the #G is for genius! #TheHardestWorkingManInTheWWE is a #CertifiedG & let me be Frank, cause #iGotTheSAUCE: I work smart, but I’m a good guy, so I feel for those… I feel for the incompetent bunch of #LoserWeights who can’t compete, because THE ONLY THING I LOSE IS SLEEP! #YouCantTeachThat #G”

https://www.instagram.com/p/Ba4tG4uA28a/

– According to Pwinsider, the original plans for this week’s episode of Raw was for Bayley to face Alicia Fox. However, the plans were changed later in the day and as seen last night, Bayley ended up facing a returning Nia Jax on the show instead.

Alicia Fox On Her Past Relationship With Wade Barrett, Total Divas, More

Alicia Fox appeared on the latest episode of Chasing Glory with Lilian Garcia. Here are the highlights:

Past relationship with Wade Barrett:

“My mom was on the street for like three years. It was insane. That was horrible. That was horrible because for me I knew that she was giving me a lot of stress and anxiety that I was bringing to work. I didn’t really realize it was having such a huge effect on me. I couldn’t even talk to Stu about it. I love Stu to death, but he was not the kind of relationship partner that I felt comfortable to talk about where I was emotionally and that was something I felt like, ‘Well, maybe I’m not worthy, maybe I shouldn’t, maybe these emotions aren’t right.’ It’s just who he is. He’s not an emotional person. We’re just better friends.

When I was really going through this thing when my mom was on the street and stuff, I wanted someone to talk about it with. So instead, I held it in my stomach and moved on. So my mom kept a diary of her whole experience on the streets. Sleeping in cars, meeting people, doing this, doing that and she kept a diary of it. I keep telling her, ‘Mom, you got to write this book out. You got to put it out there because people could probably really benefit, you know? Maybe somebody’s in the same zone.’ I haven’t brought myself to read it because from some of the stuff my mom’s told me so far, it sounds really ugly and very scary and very life threatening.”

Feeling embarrassed about her career sometimes:

“Sometimes I feel embarrassed of my career in a sense because like when the fans come up and say, ‘Underrated or this or that.’ I never really realized that until social media popped up. Then I’m left thinking, ‘Am I underrated?’ I’m one of the only girls that don’t have any merch, never had any merch even when the Bella Twins and I were together it was still Team Bella, but I never complained about any of those things because in my head, ‘It’s okay, it’s okay.’

A lot of fluffy content thinking. But you know what, maybe it’s not okay, but then it gets me upset and angry because then I’m thinking well what will my next chapter look like? Is it going to be okay if I’m not putting food on my table or my career’s at the control of someone else?”

Seeing herself on Total Divas:

“I was on it and I didn’t like the way I came off. Not because of their editing, but because of myself. I didn’t like seeing where I was at that point. I thought I looked like a crazy young drunken nut. Trust me, I have those moments still, but I didn’t like everyone else seeing that. That made me feel very uncomfortable.

It’s still kind of uncomfortable because you think there were more wrestling fans because it’s my real job, but there’s more Diva fans in some cases and all they want to say is, ‘Oh my gosh, you and Paige are so nuts!’ Or if I’m at a bar or restaurants, they’ll send shots. I don’t like that. I think it relates to where I was in that state of mind and I couldn’t help but to blame my environment.”

205 Live Highlights: I Quit Match, Alicia Fox Dumped Again

It was an eventful night in 205 Live last night. The show aired from the At&T centre in San Antonio. The main event featured an “I Quit Match” between Noam Dar and Cedric Alexander.

205 Live
July 12th 2017
AT&T Centre

  • The show opened with Tozawa speaking to Titus O’Neil (who was on speaker phone).
  • Titus told him he will get a rematch for the cruiserweight title.
  • Daivari came in and cut a really good promo somewhat out of the blue, about how prestigious wrestling is in Iran.
  • He also lets Tozawa know they have a match later tonight.

1. Akira Tozawa vs. Ariya Daivari

  • Once Tozawa gained the upper hand in this match, Neville hit the ring and attacked him.
  • Neville put Tozawa in the Rings of Saturn as we build towards a rematch between the two.

Winner: No Contest (match thrown out after interference from Neville)

  • Highlights are shown of Drew Gulak attempting, and missing, a high flying move against Mustafa Ali last week.
  • Gulak cuts a backstage promo, similar to a politician giving an apology for some scandal. He admits he “…dove”.
  • He then challenged Mustafa Ali to another match next week to determine once and for all whose approach to wrestling is better. It will be a 2-out-of-3 falls match.

2. Rich Swann vs. Mario Connors

  • Before the match could get started, TJP’s 8-bit music begins to play, and he walked to ringside.
  • TJP definitely had heel mannerisms while walking to the ring area.
  • Swann picked up the victory with the Phoenix Splash as TJP watched on.

Winner: Rich Swann

  • TJP got in the ring after and told Swann he could beat the guy in half the time. Then he decided he was going to wrestle Mario as well.
  • He also asked that Swann’s time to beat Mario be put on the screen so he can try and beat it.

3. TJP vs. Mario Connors

  • TJP only needed 28 seconds to beat Mario with the Detonation Kick.
  • Swann watched on.

Winner: TJP

  • Brian Kendrick came dressed up as Jack Gallagher.
  • Kendrick doesn’t like that Gallagher is turning wrestling into something cartoonish.
  • He called Gallagher a “2nd rate William Regal”.
  • This brought out Gallagher who said he was a “1st rate Jack Gallagher”.
  • Kendrick ended the segment by beating up Gallagher with the umbrella.

4. I Quit Match
Noam Dar vs. Cedric Alexander

  • I wonder if after this Cedric Alexander really will be done with Noam Dar and Alicia Fox. It seems likely, but this angle has found a way to seemingly never die.
  • Alexander picked up the victory after wrapping Noam’s arm in a chair and repeatedly stomping on it until he quit.

Winner: Cedric Alexander

  • After the match Cedric Alexander got on the mic and told Alicia Fox that he also quit her. This led the crowd to chant “yes! yes!”.
  • He said he was never really into her.
  • Noam said that at 23 he was the youngest member of the roster, and he is a world class athlete. Says he has a woman in every city and ever continent and was just using Alicia Fox.
  • Said Alicia Fox has become more trouble than she’s worth and that she means nothing to him.
  • Cameras focussed on a teary-eyed Alicia Fox to close the show.

Sasha Banks Will Be On 205 Live Tonight

Sasha Banks will be on 205 Live tonight after Smackdown. The former multi-time women’s champion has promised to back-up Rich Swann, her partner at Sunday’s Extreme Rules PPV.

As announced on Raw last night, Noam Dar & Alicia Fox will take on Banks & Swann in a mixed-tag match. The event will be held in Baltimore, MD, Swann’s hometown.

With viewership for the brand low, despite good reviews from those who enjoy it, WWE could be looking to include more big stars on 205 Live programming.

26-year old Rich Swann, became one of the more popular superstars early in the show’s run, and is a former cruiserweight champion. He fell out of the title picture shortly after Neville debuted on the brand.

Noam Dar has been entered into various feuds centred around his on-again off-again girlfriend, Alicia Fox. To her credit, Fox is really putting everything into her character right now.

Alicia Fox Celebrates 11 Years With WWE

Lately Alicia Fox has been substituting for a mid-card championship on 205 Live. In absence of a cruiserweight intercontinental championship, Fox has become the prize several 205 Live superstars have been fighting over.

Today is Alicia Fox’s 11th anniversary with WWE.

Alicia Fox’s WWE Career

Alicia Fox was signed by WWE as a 19 year-old and has been with the company ever since. At the time of her signing, Fox was a model. John Laurinaitis discovered her in the pages of a fashion magazine, which sums up how WWE scouted female talent at the time.

While today is her 11-year anniversary of signing with the company, her actual debut as a performer occurred on July 1st 2006 in Ohio Valley Wrestling. She first debuted on the main roster in 2008, appearing as Edge and Vickie Guerrero’s wedding planner.

Fox is a 1-time Divas champion, the only African-American superstar to ever win the title. Her younger sister wrestled in NXT and briefly for TNA under the name Caylee Turner. She is now a Tampa Bay Buccaneers cheerleader.

Lince Dorado vs. Noam Dar w/Alicia Fox
Dar needed a win here as he lost clean to Togawa on Raw, which seems to happen frequently for him. During this match someone delivered flowers to Alicia Fox, but it was unclear who sent them. Fox seemed to really enjoy receiving them however, and at one point even ate a couple of them.
Noam Dar wins clean with a running kick. After the match Dar said that he sent the flowers to Fox, but he may not have been telling the truth about that…

Winner: Noam Dar

Austin Aries interviews Akira Tozawa
Aries conducted an in-ring interview with Tozawa. He asked him why he turned down Brian Kendrick’s offer of mentorship, to which Tozawa basically just said he wanted to be his own man. Kendrick came out, insulted people from Minnesota and promised more lessons for Tozawa.

Tony Nese, Ariya Davairi, Drew Gulak vs. Mustapha Ali, Cedric Alexander and TJ Perkins
Nese pinned Perkins to pick up the win for the bad guy cruiserweights. Not saying much for Perkins that he was chosen to take the pin here.

Winners: Nese, Davairi, Gulak (Nese pinned Perkins)

Neville “State of 205 Live Address”
Neville claimed that the cruiserweight division was irrelevant before him but that the fans still don’t give him respect. Gallagher enters and says Neville believes the ring belongs to him when it actually belongs to the WWE universe. Their disagreement came to fisticuffs.
Gallagher challenges Neville for the cruiserweight championship Sunday at Fastlane.
