At today’s Impact tapings, Cody Rhodes made his return and beatdown Moose. Cody was pissed off that Brandi had Moose’s number in her phone. Rhodes also held up a hand gesture similar to the Bullet Club’s in NJPW. TNA has done a bunch of tapings recently so it is unclear when the episode of Impact featuring Cody’s return will air. It will most likely be at the end of January or early February.

Last night on 205 Live, Alicia Fox assisted Noam Dar in his match against her boyfriend, Cedric Alexander. This led to Alexander breaking up with Fox backstage. Alicia then threw a tantrum for the ages. This video gets quite loud so beware if you are wearing headphones.
– As seen Monday night on Raw, Darren Young stunned fans by winning a Battle Royal to determine the No. 1 contender for the Intercontinental Championship. As a result of the victory, he will challenge The Miz for the title at WWE Battleground on July 24.
The contest ended after Apollo Crews and Baron Corbin eliminated each other, making Young the last man standing.
His win snapped a career-long drought. According to ProFightDB.com, it was the first time Young had won a match on his own on Raw.
The drought extended nearly six years as he faced John Cena the night after SummerSlam in August 2010.

– Alicia Fox made history this week as the first female performer in WWE history to perform in the United Arab Emirates. She kicked off Thursday night’s live event from Dubai. As you can see, her attire was pretty conservative:
Alicia Fox recently recently spoke with Scott Fishman of Channel Guide Magazine about Total Divas, her friendship with the Bella Twins, WrestleMania 32 and much more. Here are some highlights:
– She’s been friends with the Bella Twins for about 10 years and feels like they’ve grown up together. With Nikki’s injury and Brie considering retirement so she can start a family with Daniel Bryan, she’s grown even closer to them and has tried to be supportive. “It feels good to go through that with them, because I constantly put myself in their shoes and figure how I would deal with everything. It can be giving advice or just listening to them, I want to be there.”
– Having been with WWE for nearly a decade, Alicia has learned to be versatile and flexible with her character. “You see it in my bookings. I’m a bad guy. I’m a good guy. I’m throwing French fries. Then I’m not. Sometimes I get dizzy, too, but I think being able to help in any fashion is what adds value to the superstars and Divas of WWE. Not having an ego is important.”
– In her time with WWE, she’s seen the Divas Division undergo several incarnations. Not only has she wrestled WWE’s current Divas roster, but she’s also gained experience wrestling with past performers like Beth Phoenix, Gail Kim and Melina.
At this stage in her career, she sees herself as somewhat of a mentor for the younger talent. “That’s what has kind of fueled the fact that I’m so willing to help these new girls get to where they want to go. It’s not so much as me wanting to put myself on the back-burner, but I think it’s important to share my guidance and experience with these girls.”
ShowBuzzDaily reported that this week’s edition of WWE’s Total Divas reality show on E! drew 808,000 viewers for a key demographic rating of 0.38. This was down very slightly from last week’s show, which drew 810,000 viewers and a 0.41 key demographic ratings. While realistically, it’s flat compared to last week, technically speaking, it’s down, as it has been every week this season since the premiere, though it’s easily the smallest loss so far.
Meanwhile, WWE put up the preview clips for next week’s episode on their YouTube channel:
In the first clip, Rosa Mendes and Alicia Fox plan for Rosa’s baby shower…but Fox isn’t really into decorating like it’s a baby shower. As in she’s planning on decorating it like a Halloween party. Why? I guess we’ll find out Tuesday.
In the second clip, Nikki Bella talks to Rosa Mendes and Eva Marie about her neck and back injury. Her immediate concern appears to be that she “feels fat” because she can’t really work out.
The new episode, titled “End of a Friendship,” premieres Tuesday night at 9:00 p.m. ET on E!
Vince McMahon, Big Show, R-Truth and Alicia Fox made an unannounced visit to Afghanistan to meet with some of the United States Troops on Friday night.

Footage of WWE’s trip to Afghanistan will likely air as part of this week’s WWE Tribute To The Troops special on the USA Network.

Team Bella member Alicia Fox tweeted this in response to Page’s promo:
Hey boo-thing @RealPaigeWWE you can call me the #3rdWheel but remember I'm the 1ST African-American @WWE#Divas Champion! #Raw#TeamBella ?
As we reported last week, WWE Divas and Total Divas stars Paige and Alicia Fox were thrown out of a restaurant in Baltimore, Maryland on Sunday, September 6th following an incident with an alleged intoxicated customer, which ended with drinks being thrown by both parties.
During her appearance at Comic Con in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania this weekend, Paige addressed the incident.
According to Paige, Total Divas cameras were not present to film the footage during the incident. She also spoke about how she and Fox were singing karaoke when the woman began filming them. The Divas reportedly asked the woman to stop, which is when she apparently got mad and threw her drink at them.
It was at this point that Paige and Fox got physical as well, as they reportedly threw their drinks back at the woman, which led to the woman’s friend joining in the mix.
All four ladies ended up being thrown out of the establishment and the two unknown women reportedly wanted to continue fighting, however the situation ended up being resolved without further incident.
According to Paige, the entire story was blown out of proportion.
WWE Diva and Total Divas star Natalya received a huge pop from the Canadian crowd at the WWE live event in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on Friday evening before defeating fellow Total Divas star Alicia Fox. A waiter at Supano’s told TMZ that the Divas were grabbing a drink late Sunday night when a regular customer came in and began harassing them by taking pictures and videos. Paige and Alicia reportedly confronted her before “all hell broke lose” and drinks were thrown by both sides.
Employees jumped in and stopped the fight and they were all forced to leave the venue.

The other “Beat The Clock Challenge” match saw Becky Lynch defeat Alicia Fox in three minutes and 21 seconds. The third “Beat The Clock Challenge” match saw Paige and Sasha Banks run out of time, as the one minute 41 second mark hit and there had yet to be a decision.

On Tuesday night’s season finale episode of WWE Tough Enough on the USA Network, the two winners of this season of Tough Enough were announced.
After working matches with Cesaro, we had Josh and Z.Z. stand and wait for the voting scores to come in. In a landslide, Josh beat Z.Z. with 70 percent of the votes.
On the female side, both Sara Lee and Amanda worked matches against Team Bella member and veteran WWE Diva Alicia Fox. In the end, the voting saw Sara win in a landslide with 64 percent of the vote compared to 36 for Amanda.
As it turns out, WWE actually scrambled to try and prevent the crowd takeover that occurred during the Divas match at RAW on Monday night.
As reported earlier, Paige, Nikki Bella, Brie Bella and Alicia Fox took to social media after RAW to vent their frustrations about the negative crowd reactions during their six-Divas tag-team match.
Paige tweeted (and then quickly deleted), “You helped us create change and then did your best to disrespect. Niceeeee jobbbbbbbb!”
To counter the negative crowd reactions, WWE actually inserted an extra commercial break into the West Coast feed of RAW, as they actually suddenly cut to a commercial break right when Paige took Nikki into the corner of the ring and hit a shoulder block.
As a result, WWE effectively prevented most of the “boring” chants, “we are awesome” chants and the wave, from airing on the West Coast feed of the show.
It’s worth noting that unlike the aforementioned four Divas, Becky Lynch and Charlotte did not complain on social media. You can check out their reactions below.

Well Brooklynch. I'll love you and leave you. You were a beautiful boisterous bunch. #RAW
Several of the WWE Divas who worked last night’s RAW expressed their frustration with the fans in the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, particularly with how they reacted during the Team P.C.B. vs. Team Bella match.
Paige tweeted the following comment, but quickly deleted it: “You helped us create change and then did your best to disrespect. Niceeeee jobbbbbbbb!”
Below are some posts from other WWE Divas involved in the match/segment, all of which spoke about the negative fan reaction as well.
WWE taped the following matches for this week’s edition of WWE Main Event prior to the WWE SmackDown television tapings on Tuesday night in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
Dark Match:
– Hornswoggle def. Heath Slater in the dark match for the live crowd. The Wisconsin native Hornswoggle actually picked up the “W” after hitting a top-rope tadpole splash.
WWE Main Event:
– Charlotte def. Alicia Fox in Divas action to kick off the taping. Charlotte won via the Figure Eight. A solid match with good pop from the crowd.
– Stardust def. Jack Swagger in the second match taped for Main Event. Stardust won with Dark Matter. A below average match, writes Shane. “I didn’t really see the point of having them wrestle. Barrett had no impact on the match. It really just seemed to be a time filler. The crowd wasn’t really into it either.”
– The Prime Time Players def. The Ascension in tag-team action. Titus O’Neil got the win via Clash of the Titus. Decent match. The first half was slow, but it picked up and ended well., according to Shane. The finish was pretty quick and didn’t have much build up.
– Fandango def. Adam Rose in the final match taped for this week’s edition of WWE Main Event. Rose performed his heel act before the match. Very short match. Apparently, Fandango is a babyface again? This concluded the Main Event taping.
As seen on Monday’s edition of RAW, WWE has given the trio of Paige, Charlotte and Becky Lynch a team name, similar to Sasha Banks, Naomi and Tamina being called “Team B.A.D.” and the team of Nikki Bella, Brie Bella and Alicia Fox being referred to as “Team Bella.”
Unfortunately, the team name for the babyface trio, “The Submission Sorority,” is also the name of an adult website, a fact that WWE quickly found out about after mentioning the name on national television.
A traffic analyst for the BangBros website told TMZ.com that their web traffic shot up 56% overnight, and they saw a 35% rise in subscriptions. The adult movie company plans on sending Vince McMahon a ‘thank you’ gift basket for the spike in business.
As a result of the slip up, WWE is already talking about changing the group name to “The Submission Sisters.” There was actually some discussions about giving the group the name “Horsewomen,” however the belief was that it could be seen as stepping on UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey’s toes.
– The mild concussion that Alicia Fox suffered during her tag-team match with Nikki Bella against Charlotte and Becky Lynch on RAW took place when Charlotte delivered a regular leg-sweep to Fox. Fox reportedly took the bump high on her head and beck area.
