(Spoilers) WWE NXT Taping Results For May 1st Through May 22nd

The following are results for the WWE NXT episodes that will air on May 1st, May 8th, May 15th and May 22nd. All four episodes were taped on Thursday night at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida.

Dark Match

– Alexander Rusev def. an unknown wrestler in a dark match to open up the tapings.

Spoiler Results for May 1, 2014

– Tyson Kidd def. Bo Dallas in the first television match of the evening.

– Sasha Banks (with Charlotte) def. Bayley in an opening round match of the NXT Women’s Championship tournament.

– Adam Rose def. Danny Burch. After the match, Camacho appeared during Rose’s big after-match party.

– Natalya def. Layla in an opening round match of the NXT Women’s Championship tournament.

– Mojo Rawley def. Oliver Grey. After the match, Aiden English came out and cut a promo on Rawley.

– Adrian Neville def. Brodus Clay in a no-disqualification match to retain the NXT Championship in a what that served as the main event for this episode.

Spoiler Results for May 8, 2014

– This show kicks off with Triple H in the ring for a promo. He talks about how NXT is the future and is taking over wrestling. He pushes the NXT Takeover special, which will take place live on the WWE Network on May 29th. Additionally, he announces a battle royal to determine the new number one contender to the NXT Championship.

– Charlotte def. Emma in a second round match in the NXT Women’s Championship tournament.

– Kalisto & El Locale (Ricardo Rodriguez under a mask) def. The Legionnaires (Sylvester Lefort & Marcus Louise).

– Camacho def. Captain Comic from Adam Rose’s party group. After the match, Camacho came out and had a confrontation with Rose.

– Alexa Bliss def. Alicia Fox in another match in the NXT Women’s Championship tournament.

– Next up was the battle royal announced by Triple H earlier in the show to crown the new number one contender to the NXT Championship. The participants were Xavier Woods, Brodus Clay, Baron Corbin, Curt Hawkins, Aiden English, Jason Jordan, Danny Burch, Oliver Grey, Marcus Louise, Sylvester Lefort, Big Cass, Camacho, Mason Ryan, Kalisto, El Local, Mojo Rawley, Sami Zayn, Yoshi Tatsu, Tyler Breeze, Bo Dallas and Tyson Kidd. In the end, Breeze, Zayn and Kidd were the final three and all were eliminated at the same time. This leads to Triple H coming back out and announcing that the three will compete in a triple-threat match to determine the official number one contender to the title.

– The Ascension def. Buddy Murphy and an unknown wrestler in the main event of this episode.

WWE Main Event Results (3/25): Boston, Massachusetts

The following are results of this week’s WWE Main Event, which took place at the TD Garden in Boston and aired live on the WWE Network.

– The show opens with WWE Intercontinental Champion Big E. making his way to the ring. Big E. joins the announce table, where it is explained that Christian, who earned the right to challenge him for his title tonight, will not be competing due to a “slight concussion” that he suffered on Monday’s RAW.

– Dolph Ziggler def. Sheamus and Alberto Del Rio in a triple-threat match to become the new number one contender to the Intercontinental Championship. Ziggler will get to challenge Big E. for the title later tonight.

– Layla, Alicia Fox, Aksana, Tamina Snuka and Summer Rae def. Eva Marie, Natalya, Emma, Cameron and Naomi in a ten-Diva tag-team match.

– A Bad News Barrett segment takes place with Barrett talking about John Cena being freaked out by Bray Wyatt the same way the fans get freaked out when they look in the mirror. He suggests everyone should wear a sheep mask because of their bad looks.

– Big E. def. Dolph Ziggler to retain his WWE Intercontinental Championship in the main event of the evening.

  • WWE Confirms More New Matches For WrestleMania XXX On RAW

    WWE confirmed a few new matches for WrestleMania XXX on this week’s edition of RAW, which took place on Monday night from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

    As previously reported, WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee will be defending her title on the show in a “Vickie Guerrero Diva Invitational” against Naomi, Cameron, Brie Bella, Nikki Bella, Natalya, Eva Marie, Emma, Aksana, Alicia Fox, Summer Rae, Rosa Mendes, Layla and Tamina Snuka.

    Also confirmed on Monday’s RAW was the fact that Ryback and Curtis Axel will be part of the WWE Tag-Team Championship match at WrestleMania XXX against the current champions, The Usos.

    Finally, WWE announced The Shield vs. Kane and The New Age Outlaws in a six-man tag-team contest for the show.

    – It was announced on Monday’s edition of WWE RAW that at WrestleMania XXX, AJ Lee will defend her WWE Divas Championship in a “Vickie Guerrero Diva Invitational” match. The match will feature AJ Lee against Naomi, Cameron, Brie Bella, Nikki Bella, Natalya, Eva Marie, Emma, Aksana, Alicia Fox, Summer Rae, Rosa Mendes, Layla and Tamina Snuka.

    – It was also confirmed on RAW this week that Scott Hall (aka Razor Ramon) will be inducted into the 2014 class of the WWE Hall Of Fame.

    WWE Diva Makes In-Ring Return On Friday, Two Divas To Return At RAW?

    WWE Diva Layla made her return to in-ring action at the WWE live event on Friday night in Waco, Texas. Layla teamed with Alicia Fox in Divas tag-team action against the duo of Natalya and Eva Marie.

    Layla’s return marks her first match since WWE RAW on September 23, 2013. The Diva was given time off from the company to deal with “personal issues.” At one point, according to reports, it was believed that she may never return to the ring again.

    With her return, this opens the door for two potential WWE Diva returns at next Monday’s RAW, with both Layla and Naomi available to come back.

  • Road Dogg Injured, Hardy Boyz vs. Briscoe Brothers Announced, Latest WWE Inbox

    – Road Dogg is dealing with a back injury that’s kept him out of action for a few weeks. No word yet on the extent of the injury. There had been talks that the New Age Outlaws would challengeThe Usos for the WWE Tag Team championships at WrestleMania XXX, but it remains to be seen if the match will actually take place.

    – Matt and Jeff Hardy vs. Jay and Mark Briscoe has been booked as the main event of the April 26th OMEGA live event from the Hardys’ hometown of Cameron, NC. The show takes place at Union Pines High School. Matt Hardy announced the match on Twitter, calling it the “biggest tag team dream match” of the past 10 years.

    Match Cut From SmackDown, Edge To Appear At WrestleCon During WMXXX Weekend

    – WWE Hall Of Famer Adam “Edge” Copeland will be appearing at the WrestleCon event on April 5th in New Orleans during WrestleMania XXX weekend.

    – The WWE Divas match between Eva Marie and Alicia Fox that was taped on Tuesday for this week’s SmackDown ended up not airing on Friday night. There is no official word as to why the match didn’t make the cut, however those in attendance noted it was a pretty bad match, to the surprise of almost no one.

    – WWE CEO Vince McMahon, along with Big Show, R-Truth, Eva Marie and Alicia Fox, are all headed overseas to visit some of the U.S. Troops. No word yet on which country they will be visiting.

  • Wade Barrett Competes In Dark Match Before Raw In England, Matches Taped For “WWE Superstars”

    Wade Barrett, who has not appeared on WWE’s television shows since August, defeated Damien Sandow in a dark match prior to tonight’s Raw taping in Manchester, England at Phones 4u Arena. Fellow countryman William Regal handled ring announcing duties.

    In a match taped for WWE Superstars, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso and The Great Khali squared off against The Prime Time Players and The Miz.

    In Divas action, The Funkadactyls, Cameron and Naomi, squared off against Alicia Fox and Aksana.

    (Spoilers) WWE Superstars Taping Results For This Week

    WWE taped matches in Greenville, South Carolina on Monday night prior to WWE RAW for this week’s edition of WWE Superstars. The following are quick results of those matches.

    -Naomi defeated Alicia Fox in a Divas match to open the show. This was said to be a typical Divas match, so basically it was exactly what you would expect.

    -Zack Ryder defeated Jinder Mahal. The Long Island native picked up the victory via pinfall over the 3MB member in the main event of this week’s WWE Superstars show.

    Bruno Sammartino Appears On RAW, Total Divas Stars Make In-Ring Debut

    -On Monday’s RAW, WWE Hall Of Famer Bruno Sammartino was brought on stage during a commercial break. The segment aired on the WWE App, and was then re-played after the commercial. Sammartino came out on and fellow WWE Hall Of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler led the crowd in singing “happy birthday” to the legendary performer, who celebrated his 78th birthday this past weekend.

    -Also on Monday’s RAW, WWE Total Divas stars Eva Marie and Jo Jo Offerman made their official WWE television in-ring debut in a six-Diva tag-team match. The match featured Marie and Offerman teaming with Natalya, who defeated their opponents – Alicia Fox, Rosa Mendes and Aksana.

    Cena Still Advertised For 9/30 RAW, WWE Stock Update, “WWE Street Party” Info

    -The WWE stock closed today at $9.75, so it has basically leveled off following the big drop on Monday.

    -As noted previously, WWE will be running two shows this weekend in Hidalgo, Texas. On Saturday, WWE Superstar Rey Mysterio returns. In addition, WWE will be holding a “WWE Street Party” on Saturday from 2pm to 6pm to kick off the 10-year anniversary of the State Farm Arena. Scheduled to appear at the “WWE Street Party” are WWE Superstars Sin Cara, Big Show, Brodus Clay, R-Truth and Alicia Fox.

    -For whatever reason, currently sidelined WWE Superstar John Cena is still being mentioned in the local advertisements as appearing in the dark match at the upcoming WWE RAW television taping in Biloxi, MS on Monday, September 30th. Unless a miracle occurs, obviously Cena will not be wrestling on that show.

    Jerry Lawler On Steve Austin Show, WWE Divas On The Food Network, More

    -WWE Hall Of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler is the special guest on the latest edition of the “Steve Austin Show,” which was posted online today. Lawler’s appearance is a two-part interview, with part one available right now online at PodcastOne.com.

    -Speaking of WWE Divas, both Layla and Alicia Fox will be appearing on The Food Network program, “Cupcake Wars” on Saturday, September 21st at 8:00pm ET. The two Divas will serve as guest judges of a cupcake contest where the winners get to go to the WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view.

    -WWE Hall Of Famer, and one-half of the infamous Road Warriors, Joe “Animal” Laurinaitis celebrates his 53rd birthday today. Laurinaitis was born on September 12, 1960.

    What Happened After Tuesday’s WWE TV Tapings, Natalya & Fox In Rwanda

    – The dark match that took place after Tuesday night’s WWE television tapings from Oklahoma City saw Randy Orton, Sheamus and Kane wrestle The Shield to a no contest. The finish came after The Shield each got hit with the babyface’s signature moves (Ambrose got an RKO, Rollins got Brogue Kicked and Reigns got chokeslammed) and ran away through the crowd.

    – WWE Divas Natalya and Alicia Fox are currently in Rwanda with doing work for the Nothing But Nets malaria prevention organization. Natalya tweeted this picture on Tuesday:

    WWE Speaks To Undertaker About Returning To The Ring, WWE Stars Visit Children’s Hospital, Layla Appearance

    – Following reports in recent months indicating that The Undertaker’s in-ring career is uncertain, F4WOnline.com confirms that WWE brass spoke with the legendary wrestler this week and he’s “on board for a high-profile match.”

    – The Miz, AJ Lee and Alicia Fox paid a visit to Riley’s Hospital for Children in Indianapolis, Indianapolis, last Friday to spread some holiday cheer. WWE has released the following video of their visit.

    – Layla has been announced to appear with Sheamus at Barnes & Noble 3400 Forest Dr. Columbia, South Carolina, on Dec. 1. They will be signing copies of the new WWE Encyclopedia. Call 803-787-5600 for more information.

    WWE Stars Volunteer At Food Bank (Pictures), The Miz Attends NBA Game

    – WWE superstar The Miz attended Friday night’s NBA basketball game between the Indiana Pacers and the Dallas Mavericks, according to ESPN.com. Miz was there to promote tonight’s Survivor Series PPV from Indianapolis.

    – WWE stars AJ Lee, David Otunga and Alicia Fox volunteered at Gleaner’s Food Bank in Indiana over the weekend. Here are some Tweets sent out about the event:

    Taping Schedule Announced For “WWE Main Event” On ION

    WWE and ION Television have announced the upcoming taping schedule for WWE Main Event, premiering Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at 8/7 PM CT. Each episode will be taped at the previous night’s SmackDown television taping, beginning with next Tuesday in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The following press release was issued Thursday:

    Tensai Makes Racial Remark In First Tout, Best of Road Warriors

    – Tensai made a racial remark in his first Tout video post. Noting he was traveling with his personal chauffeur Sakamoto to Indianapolis—the site of tonight’s SmackDown taping—following Raw, he remarks it’s “very, very dangerous” to drive with a Japanese person. He then slaps Sakamoto as he’s driving and orders him “to open his eyes.”

    – WWE.com has uploaded a playlist of The Road Warriors’ greatest moments. Highlights include defeating The Nasty Boys to win the WWF Tag Team Championship, clashing with The Midnight Express in the dangerous Scaffold Match, a WarGames Match against The Four Horsemen at The Great American Bash in 1987, a match against Harlem Heat in 1996 and more.

    – Ezekiel Jackson, who has sparingly appeared at WWE events in recent weeks, noted on Twitter that he will not be on hand for tonight’s SmackDown taping in Indianapolis, Indiana.

    – Alicia Fox paid a visit to Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University Health on Tuesday prior to SmackDown. The WWE Diva sent out a Tout noting her appearance.

    Mysterio Appearing At SummerSlam Axxess, This Week’s Inbox

    – WWE.com announced Wednesday details for SummerSlam Axxess taking place Saturday, Aug. 18 to Sunday, Aug. 19 at the Nokia Plaza at L.A. LIVE. Among those scheduled for VIP appearances include CM Punk, Sheamus, Triple H, Randy Orton, John Cena and Rey Mysterio, who has not returned to television following the expiration of his 60-day suspension for his second violation of WWE’s Talent Wellness Program.

    Goldberg Interested In Wrestling Brock Lesnar, Cena-Fox Note

    – Bill Goldberg, who last competed for WWE in 2004, reportedly contacted Brock Lesnar about returning to the sports entertainment organization to work an angle with him. Lesnar, however, only has two major dates left on his current contract; Triple H at SummerSlam and whoever his WrestleMania XXIX opponent will be.

    – Alicia Fox and John Cena visited wounded warriors and members of the U.S. Military at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland last week. Click here for a video piece on their visit.

    – John Cena and Alicia Fox recently visited wounded United States soldiers at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Washington, DC.

    – FCW Diva Raquel Diaz (daughter of Vickie & Eddie Guerrero) is now the longest-reigning Divas Champion in FCW history. The previous record holder was WWE Diva Naomi, who now dances with Brodus Clay.

    – This week’s edition of Are You Serious? with Road Dogg and Josh Mathews features RoboCop appearing at WCW’s Capital Combat to rescue Sting. Also featured are clips of Ric Flair appearing at a mental hospital and Dean Douglas.

    – Alicia Fox and John Cena visited wounded warriors and members of the U.S. Military at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland last week. Click here for photos.

    – In Mexico, Raw SuperShow is now airing live on Channel 5. The program previously aired on a two-hour taped delay and was edited to ninety minutes.
