  • Two TNA Knockouts Cleared To Return, Update On Hamada, More

    — TNA president Dixie Carter announced on Thursday that both Angelina Love and Daffney have received medical clearance to return to the ring. Carter said the duo “will be back in the coming weeks.”

Love has been out with an arm injury suffered during a Triple Threat Match last month against Tara and Madison Rayne. Meanwhile, Daffney suffered a badly bruised sternum during a match against recent signee Betsy Ruth last month. The incident resulted in “The Scream Queen” being stretchered out of The Impact! Zone.

    — Infrequently seen TNA Knockout Hamada was recently in danger of being released but scored a reprieve from management due to the shortage of female wrestling created by Lisa Marie Varon’s departure from the organization, as well as injuries suffered by Angelina Love and Daffney. Talk of cutting Hamada led to much head scratching amongst the wrestlers as she’s considered the best worker in the Knockouts division.

    — TNA Women’s Knockout Champion Madison Rayne will be throwing out the first pitch at Saturday’s Durham Bulls minor league baseball game in Durham, North Carolina.

  • Two TNA Stars Ink New Deals, Updated Knockouts Roster, More

    – TNA President Dixie Carter announced on her Twitter account that Christy Hemme and Brian Kendrick have signed new multi-year contracts with the organization. She wrote, “LOVE Christy in her new role & excited to see what Brian brings to X Div.”

    – To clarify, the previously announced Leather & Lace Match between Angelina Love and Velvet Sky taking place on next week’s iMPACT! will not be for Love’s Knockouts Championship.

    – For those unable to keep track of the Knockouts roster following numerous talent changes this year, here is how it currently stands.

Wrestlers (10): Angelina Love, Daffney, Hamada, Lacey Von Erich, Madison Rayne, ODB, Sarita, Tara, Taylor Wilde, Velvet Sky

Other on-air characters (5): Chelsea, Christy Hemme, Miss Tessmacher, SoCal Val & Orlando Jordan’s (unnamed) female companion.

  • Updates On Awesome Kong, ODB, Angelina Love, Sarita

    – Former TNA Knockout Awesome Kong is booked for several independent dates in Australia this summer under the name “Amazing Kong.” With those bookings in place, it seems unlikely that Kong would be able to join WWE until after the summer.

    – ODB told fans at a POWW Wrestling event held over the weekend that the reason she hasn’t been seen in TNA the past few weeks is due to a ruptured breast implant. According to reports, she had been working through the injury in order to hold off surgery following the Genesis pay-per-view back in January. She has since recovered as she worked the independent event, so her prolonged absence appears to now be a case of creative having nothing for her at this time.

    – Angelina Love will be hosting a “Gold Party” this Friday night in Washington D.C. at the Town Danceboutique alongside Tanisha of the Bad Girls Club and DJ Seth.

    – Sarita is currently in the midst of a wrestling tour of Japan as she worked Fuka’s retirement show at Korakuen Hall on Sunday and will be working a show this Saturday at Shin-Kiba 1st Ring.

    — Madison Rayne is auctioning off a garter wrestling outfit worn on iMPACT! last year at the following link. Bidding ends today.

  • Reaction To Young Partnering With Hardy & RVD, Kong Update

    — There was said to be a collective groan among a large group of wrestlers and TNA personnel watching iMPACT! on the backstage monitor when Eric Young interrupted Rob Van Dam and Jeff Hardy’s post-match celebration on Monday. The “unanimous opinion” was that Young killed the moment due to the fact that he’s nowhere near the level of Van Dam and Hardy. While everyone describes “EY” as a nice guy, the feeling is he’s been given so much television time over the years due to his friendship with the company’s power players. (source: Pro Wrestling Torch)

    — Recently released TNA Knockout Awesome Kong will be returning to the ring on May 8th for Ring of Honor. Facing Sara Del Ray, she will be using her former name of Amazing Kong.

    — In a brief video interview with lethalwow.com, Angelina Love discusses being back with TNA Wrestling. She says her release from the company last year was “heartbreaking,” but that “everything happens for a reason.” Apparently in regards to her contractual status, she said she’s “back for another three years, at least.”

  • Bischoff Comments On “iMPACT!”, Reaction To Doane’s Tryout

    — On his Facebook account, Eric Bischoff responded to a fan’s post regarding Monday’s iMPACT!. He wrote: “On the contrary, we are all convinced (as are most fans) that we proved definitively that we can produce a superior product. While it is going to take some time (and consistency) to gain the market share we hope to gain, we are thrilled with the product we presented, and are more than excited about the future.”

    — Former WWE performer Ken Doane (a/k/a Kenny Dykstra), who worked a dark match with Homicide before Tuesday’s iMPACT! taping, received high marks for his tryout. No word yet on whether he’s been offered a contract. (source: PWInsider.com)

  • WWE Diva & “The Beautiful People” Appearing On Wrestlicious

~ Sierra Sheraton vs. Marley Sebastian

    * March 29th (Bite TV) and March 31st (Mav TV)
~ The Naughty Girls vs. Paige Webb & The Southern Belle

The wrestler known as Paige Webb is none other than WWE Diva and Straight Edge Society member Serena. Her character’s background in Wrestlicious is that she runs a website.

The wrestler known as Amber Lively is actually TNA Knockout Madison Rayne performing a cheerleader gimmick. In a coincidence, she was paired with fellow “Beautiful People” member Lacey Von Erich long before the two joined forces in TNA as these initial episodes of Wrestlicious: Takedown were originally taped in August of 2008.

Another TNA Knockout appears on Wrestlicious: Takedown in the form of Daffney, as she performed under the name Draculetta. Her tag partner, White Magic, is semi-retired independent women’s wrestler Lacey of Ring of Honor fame.

Finally, Marley Sebastian is Daizee Haze while The Southern Belle is Amber O’Neal.

    — In an interview with www.RedHotDivas.com, former TNA Knockout Jenna Morasca spoke out on her decision to enter the wrestling industry, who she remains friends with from her time in TNA, which wrestler she enjoyed working with the most, if she ever plans on returning to the industry, and much more. • Update On Joe Kidnapping Angle, Love’s Platform Boots, More

    — Fans shouldn’t be too dismayed by the storyline of Samoa Joe being abducted by a group of masked men from a parking lot two weeks on iMPACT! as the long-term plan is for this to lead to a renewed push for the multi-time TNA champion at some point.

    — Angelina Love is auctioning off a few ring worn items including platform boots worn on several episodes of iMPACT! as well as a beekeeper outfit. You can view the auctions at the following link.

I DO NOT HAVE A TWITTER ACCOUNT!!!!

If you are twatting with someone who says they are Angelina Love, Angel Williams or Lauren Williams (or any mix of those names) you are twatting with a poser! I have no plans to get a Twitter account either so I hope that clears it up.

    — Samoa Joe, Hernandez and Sylvan Grenier headline for Top of he World Wrestling on Mar. 5 at the Pierre Charboneau Center in Montreal.

  • Tara Has Another Wardrobe Malfunction?, Reaction To Ratings

    — Peculiarly, the left side of Tara’s top was blurred throughout the conclusion of her match with Angelina Love on this past Thursday’s iMPACT! broadcast. It seems strange because the blurring commenced once the match came back from a commercial break and carried on towards its conclusion. Furthermore, it would not appear to be a case of an insignia issue as the top she wore simply read “Poison” with no logo beared. Also note, she’s worn the ring outfit before on television.

It’s been speculated that Tara suffered a wardrobe malfunction at some point during the match and that TNA’s production staff decided to digitize her top through the conclusion of the match as a precautionary measure.

Tara’s apparent wardrobe malfunction comes on the heels of last month’s live iMPACT! special where ODB pulled her trunks a bit too far south while attempting a roll-up. The TNA Women’s Knockout Champion’s buttocks was blurred during the episode’s subsequent Thursday replay.

Likewise, Tara’s Thursday opponent, Angelina Love, suffered a wardrobe malfunction of her own roughly two years ago as her breast momentarily came exposed during a taped television broadcast while backing towards the ramp at the conclusion of a match which she had just interfered in. In that case, TNA’s production crew missed digitizing her.

    — As reported earlier, Thursday’s episode of iMPACT! drew a final 1.2 cable rating with 1.6 million viewers — a drop from the previous week’s record high 1.4 rating. The Wrestling Observer is reporting that there was a lot of unhappiness within the company when Thursday’s rating was released.

    — TNA will be holding live events in Virginia this coming Thursday and Friday (Charlottesville and Norfolk) before heading off to Orlando for Sunday’s Against All Odds pay-per-view. Fans that purchase a $35 seat ticket will receive a free TNA DVD.

  • TNA Roster Update, Homicide Defeats Former ECW Champion

    — The TNA website has added profiles on Angelina Love, Brian Kendrick, Bubba the Love Sponge and Mr. Anderson to its Superstars section. Awesome Kong’s profile remains on the page at this time.

    — Two TNA stars in Homicide and Madison Rayne were on hand for Jersey All Pro Wrestling’s 12th Year Anniversary Show last night in Rahway, New Jersey. Homicide beat former ECW World Heavyweight Champion Masato Tanaka while JAPW Women’s Champion Sara Del Ray pinned Madison Rayne.

    — Today is TNA creative director and former WCW World Heavyweight Champion Vince Russo’s birthday, who turns 49 years old.

  • Angelina Love Comments On Return To TNA Wrestling

As seen this past Thursday night on iMPACT!, Angelina Love made her return to the organization, first appearing in the crowd and hugging Velvet Sky and Madison Rayne prior to their match with Awesome Kong and Hamada. However, after the match, Love turned on The Beautiful People, attacking her former partners and Lacey Von Erich, her replacement in the group, seemingly angry about being replaced.

The two-time Women’s Knockout Champion has posted a thank you message to her fans on her MySpace account, thanking them for their incredible support while she was away from the organization late last year.

Here is her message in its entirety:

A BIG Thank You to my Fans!

I just want to take this time to write a big huge THANK YOU to each and every one of my fans. From day one you guys have been so supportive of me and you really showed how much you care during my difficult time at the end of last year.

Not one day went by, not ONE, since I was released where I didnt get a personal message, a comment, an email or something from you fans. Everyday you told me you missed me and you supported me and you couldnt wait to see me back on TV.

That really helped brighten my days when I didnt really know what was going to be happening in my life! None of you HAD to do anything or say anything, but you did and it really meant a lot to me. My manager, Michael Klyzub, worked his butt off to make sure everything would turn out for the best and it sure did :-)

I am officially back on the TNA roster and couldnt be happier about it. I guess I’m starting a new chapter in my career & in my life and I am so excited about it! I’m gonna give it my all as I always do and I hope everyone loves it as much as I know I will. Thank you for being so happy and supportive of my return and thank you for all the youtube videos you made about it! They are all awesome!

2010 has started off amazing and I cant wait to see what will come in the days ahead.

    Love,
    Lauren/Angel/Angelina Love
