WWE Stars Join ‘Dimension 20’ for ‘Titan Takedown,’ Blending Wrestling with D&D

Four WWE superstars are stepping into the world of tabletop role-playing as Dimension 20: Titan Takedown brings professional wrestling to the realm of Dungeons & Dragons.

Streaming platform Dropout has unveiled the first trailer for the highly anticipated crossover season, featuring WWE stars Bayley, Chelsea Green, Xavier Woods, and Kofi Kingston.

The five-part series, led by Dimension 20’s game master Brennan Lee Mulligan, debuts on April 2—just weeks before WrestleMania.

A Clash of Wrestling and Mythology

Set in ancient Athens, Titan Takedown transforms the WWE stars into “righteous wrestlers” battling for glory in an epic in-universe event. Each performer will step into a new fantasy persona:

  • Bayley portrays Thea Kitterloo, a powerful minotaur barbarian.
  • Chelsea Green takes on the role of Tabatha, a cunning tabaxi rogue.
  • Xavier Woods, a longtime D&D fan, plays Julia Mortem, a disciplined monk.
  • Kofi Kingston embodies King Adonis Thanaformus, adding royal flair to the adventure.

A New Frontier for Dimension 20

While Dimension 20 has featured guest players from Critical Role and The Adventure Zone, this marks the first time the series has enlisted professional athletes as players. The crossover follows the success of Dungeons and Drag Queens, the show’s first season to feature non-D&D players, which recently wrapped its second installment.

Release Date and Streaming Details

Dimension 20: Titan Takedown premieres exclusively on Dropout on April 2, with new episodes releasing every Wednesday for four weeks.

WWE’s Bayley Shows Off Skills at NBA Celebrity All-Star Game

WWE Superstar Bayley was able to show her skills on the court as part of this year’s NBA All Star Celebrity game. Playing as part of Team Jerry Rice, Bayley took to X (fka Twitter) before the big game to share her excitement.

Before the game got started, Bayley had quite the entrance and introduction. The former WWE Women’s Champion came off the bench in the first half and started in the second half.

On the court, Bayley showed off her driblling and her athleticisim, honed by years as a WWE Superstar.

Despite a strong effort, Bayley didn’t score any points and her team would lose 66-55 to the team coached by Barry Bonds. On X, Bayley shared one aspect of the game that’ll haunt her for the rest of the week.

With her NBA debut in the rear-view mirror, Bayley now looks towards WWE NXT Vengeance Day where she will challenge Giulia for the NXT Women’s Title in a match that’ll include Roxanne Perez. With an Elimination Chamber match also in the Role Model’s future, Bayley is certainly being kept busy back in her home of professional wrestling.

Roxanne Perez Plays Mind Games, Uses Bayley’s ‘Hugger’ Persona

Viewers of this week’s WWE NXT received a blast from the past as Bayley’s old ‘Hugger’ persona was featured on the show, but not by the former Women’s Champion.

As Bayley ascended the ropes to deliver her signature flying elbow against Cora Jade, the ‘Turn It Up’ theme song played and out came Roxanne Perez. This unexpected appearance momentarily distracted Bayley, allowing Cora Jade to capitalize. Jade executed two Double-Arm DDTs, one on the ringside floor, securing a notable victory over the former champion.

Bayley’s Hugger persona proved immensely popular with fans both in NXT and after her move to the main roster in 2016. In 2019, Bayley turned heel and ‘murdered’ the Bayley Buddies, ending her time as the Hugger so that she could become the ‘Role Model. This isn’t Perez’s first time dressing as Bayley’s lighter side, as she performed as Bayley during a WWE NXT live event near Halloween in 2022.

Bayley and Perez will challenge for the NXT Women’s Championship held by Giulia during this weekend’s WWE NXT Vengeance Day event. After costing Bayley her match this week with these mind-games, it remains to be seen if Roxanne Perez becomes a record-breaking three-time NXT Women’s Champion at the event.

“Best Damn Wrestler” Roxanne Perez Hypes Huge Career Week After Raw

Lyra Valkyria’s Full Circle Showdown: From Bayley Fan to Opponent

For Lyra Valkyria, this Monday’s Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match against Bayley on tonight’s WWE Raw isn’t just about securing a spot in one of WWE’s most brutal matches—it’s the realization of a dream years in the making.

During her appearance on the Battleground Podcast, Valkyria was reminded of a tweet she wrote in 2017, long before she became the first-ever WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion. “Imagine one day being able to make someone feel how I felt meeting Bayley. Now that would be amazing,” she wrote.

Now, seven years later, she’s facing Bayley in a match that could shape the next chapter of her career. The inaugural WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion battles a childhood hero

“It’s so crazy when these tweets resurface. I don’t even remember them at this point,” she admitted. “But I remember that moment. I had just wrestled a match that didn’t go my way, and Bayley took the time to give me advice, to pick me up. Now I’m stepping into the ring with her—it’s surreal.”

Layra Valkyria’s Surreal Match Against Bayley

Bayley, a Grand Slam Champion and one of WWE’s most accomplished superstars, stands between Lyra and her first Elimination Chamber appearance. But the rising star isn’t backing down from the challenge.

“I keep saying, ‘This is my biggest match ever.’ But this one really is,” Valkyria said. “Bayley is one of the best, but I’m ready to prove I belong at this level.”

With a chance to punch her ticket to the Elimination Chamber and potentially WrestleMania, this match isn’t just about competition—it’s about proving that Lyra Valkyria isn’t the future of WWE’s women’s division. She’s the present.

Bayley’s Mexico City Surprise: A Lucha Mask, Rey Mysterio, and Tequila

  • Bayley had a custom Lucha mask made by former WWE star Lince Dorado for WWE’s trip to Mexico.
  • She sought Rey Mysterio’s approval before wearing it, ensuring it was a respectful gesture
  • Rey Mysterio reassured her that the fans would love it, encouraging her to go for it

Bayley made a memorable impression during WWE’s trip to Mexico City by embracing the country’s rich wrestling heritage—complete with a custom Lucha mask. But before stepping out in front of the crowd, she sought approval from none other than Rey Mysterio himself.

Speaking with Adrian Hernandez during Unlikely at Royal Rumble 2025 weekend, Bayley shared the story behind her special moment. Wanting to show respect to the Lucha tradition, she reached out to former WWE star Lince Dorado, who designed a mask that matched her ring gear.

However, despite the thoughtful gesture, she wasn’t sure how the fans would react.

“I was like, ‘Is it weird and disrespectful if I wear a mask?’” she recalled.

Dorado reassured her—“Hell no, I got you!”—but Bayley wanted the final word from a true legend.

Rey Mysterio and Bayley in a Lucha Mask Mexico City

That’s where Rey Mysterio came in. Backstage before the event, she asked him directly: Would the fans appreciate this? His response was immediate: “Hell no, they’re going to love it. Do it! Do it!”

Taking Mysterio’s advice, Bayley stepped out in her Lucha-inspired look, and the reaction was undeniable. “I felt extremely awkward,” she admitted. “But I could feel the excitement from the fans—like, holy crap, she did this for us!

The night became even more special when she got to celebrate the moment with Mysterio himself.

“Being able to take that picture with Rey…we may have had a little tequila,” she laughed. “It was very special.”

For Bayley, it wasn’t just about wearing a mask—it was about honoring the culture, the fans, and the moment. And with Mysterio’s blessing and the crowd’s energy behind her, it’s a night she won’t forget.

Bayley to Compete in 2025 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game

WWE Superstar Bayley is set to showcase her athletic prowess outside the wrestling ring as she joins the roster for the 2025 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game. The event will take place on Friday, February 14 at 7 PM ET, airing live on ESPN.

One of WWE’s top female stars in recent history, the Role Model will represent Team Rice, coached by NFL legend Jerry Rice and social media star Khaby Lame. She’ll be sharing the court with a diverse lineup of celebrities, including former NBA player Matt Barnes, comedian Druski, and country singer Walker Hayes. While Bayley will be the only wrestler involved, Kai Cenat, who appeared at the 2025 Royal Rumble team will be a part of Team Bonds (coached by Barry Bonds.)

Bayley’s participation adds a unique flair to the game, blending the world of professional wrestling with basketball. Fans will be eager to see how Bayley’s in-ring endurance translates to the hardwood as she competes against Team Bonds. The 2025 NBA All-Star Weekend is set in the San Francisco Bay Area, adding a hometown twist for Bayley, who hails from nearby San Jose.

Bayley won’t be the first WWE Superstar to compete in the NBA Celebrity All-Star game. The Miz put on quite the show back in 2023 and nearly won the game for his team. The two-time WWE Grand Slam Champion nailed an incredible half-court shot over Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf, but failed to get it off ahead of the buzzer.

In WWE, Bayley recently came up short in the Women’s Royal Rumble, though next week’s Elimination Chamber qualifier could bring the Role Model one step closer to a title match at WrestleMania. Whatever comes, fans can look forward to seeing Bayley on the court as the WWE staple explands her role in sports entertainment.

Bayley on WWE’s Women’s Division: “We Have Too Much Talent”

Bayley on WWE’s Women’s Division: “We Have Too Much Talent”

Professional wrestling continues to evolve in unprecedented ways, from WWE’s groundbreaking partnership with TNA to the remarkable growth of women’s wrestling. During an interview with Adrian Hernandez for Unlikely this past weekend before the 2025 Royal Rumble, Bayley said:

“Dude, not even two years ago…we’re in this relationship with TNA that we have all these talented women in NXT people coming all around the world to be a part of this because it just keeps getting bigger and bigger.”

Bayley WWE Entrance (2025)

Reflecting on the women’s division, Bayley highlighted how far it’s come since the early days of the Royal Rumble.

“The crazy thing about Royal Rumble this year is that we have a good problem where we have too much women…compared to the first year we needed to bring in some Legends, we needed to bring in NXT talent, and now we’re in a place where we have too many talented women.”

What’s Next for Bayley After the 2025 Royal Rumble

Despite an impressive showing that saw her enter at number 12 and last nearly 47 minutes, Bayley’s quest for Royal Rumble glory was ultimately cut short by Nikki Bella. Throughout her time in the match, she engaged in memorable exchanges with several top competitors, including former rival Alexa Bliss, Charlotte Flair, and perhaps most notably, her former Damage CTRL ally Iyo Sky.

The tension didn’t end with the elimination, as Bayley and Bella found themselves in a heated post-match confrontation that called back to their previous clash at WrestleMania 37. Given the intensity of their exchange and their storied history, fans may soon see these two competitors reignite their rivalry in the weeks to come.

Bailey on WWE’s Growing Women’s Division: “I Really Need to Step Up My Game”

WWE’s women’s division is expanding, and veteran superstar Bailey is feeling the competitive pressure. During a recent interview with Denise Salcedo for Instinct Culture, Bailey shared her thoughts on WWE’s push for diversity, the inclusion of talent from different wrestling backgrounds, and the growing excitement among fans.

“We all wanted more women, we wanted more people from all outside, all different kinds of wrestling worlds and people from all over the world,” Bailey stated, emphasizing the industry’s shift toward inclusivity.

With WWE’s ongoing collaboration with promotions like TNA and new signings such as Jordynne Grace, the company is fostering a more dynamic women’s roster. For Bailey, this evolution serves as motivation.

“I really need to step up my game,” she admitted, acknowledging the increasing level of competition.

As WWE integrates talent from different wrestling circuits, established stars like Bailey are pushing themselves to adapt and excel. Beyond the roster changes, Bailey highlighted the enthusiasm of WWE fans.

“It’s so refreshing to see, and I love seeing the fans get more excited for all the women and just get invested in what we’re doing,” she said.

The audience’s engagement plays a crucial role in the division’s success, reinforcing the importance of diverse representation. As WWE continues to build a more inclusive and competitive women’s division, Bailey’s sentiments reflect the evolving landscape—one where established stars and rising talent alike are driven to reach new heights.

The January 28, edition of WWE NXT saw the silver brand continue on the road to its Vengeance Day event. During the show, three exciting Championship matches were announced.

On the Grayson Waller Effect, NXT Champion Oba Femi pointed out that neither Waller nor Austin Theory held gold during their respective runs in WWE NXT. After brawling with the pair and laying out Trick Williams, Femi was told by NXT GM Ava that he will defend the NXT Championship against Waller and Theory in a triple threat match at NXT Vengeance Day.

On the show, Fallon Henley retained the NXT Women’s North American Championship against Shotzi. After the match, she came face-to-face with Stephanie Vaquer. Commentary confirmed that Vaquer will challenge Henley for the title at NXT Vengeance Day.

The WWE NXT Women’s Championship will also be on the line at NXT Vengeeance Day. After the match, Bayley eyed Giulia and her NXT Women’s Championship. Later that night, Ava announced that both Bayley and Roxanne Perez will challenge Giulia for the NXT Women’s Championship at Vengeance Day.

NXT Vengeance Day will take place on February 15, at the Entertainment and Sports Arena in Washington D.C. With the show set to air the same day as AEW hosts its Grand Slam: Australia event, WWE is holding nothing back in their war for viewers next month. Bayley Moved To Raw In WWE Transfer Window

Bayley has officially been moved to Raw as part of the WWE transfer window initiative aimed at shaking up its rosters.

WWE introduced the transfer window concept in late 2024, allowing talent from Raw, SmackDown, and NXT to negotiate moves between brands. While stars such as Drew McIntyre, Roman Reigns, Kevin Owens, and Cody Rhodes have made appearances on other brands, their transfers have yet to be formally announced.

WWE Transfer: The Wyatt Sicks Moved to SmackDown

Bayley is set to wrestle Nia Jax, a fellow former WWE Women’s Champion, on tonight’s episode of Raw. This match follows Bayley’s loss to SmackDown Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton on last week’s episode of SmackDown. Bayley had earned that title shot by winning a fatal four-way match against Jax, Naomi, and Bianca Belair. Adding intrigue to tonight’s match, it was Jax who originally defeated Bayley for the Women’s Title at SummerSlam after earning her championship opportunity by winning the Queen of the Ring tournament.

Bayley’s move to Raw promises to inject fresh rivalries into the red brand while continuing her ongoing pursuit of championship gold.

Bayley, Mickie James, and Others React to WWE-TNA Deal

The wrestling world has been abuzz with excitement following the announcement of a groundbreaking collaboration between WWE and TNA Wrestling. Wrestling stars took to social media to share their thoughts on the unexpected partnership.

WWE Superstar Bayley joked, “Finally, my TNA Gut Check tryout has paid off!!!” referencing TNA’s developmental program from years past.

Santino Marella, known for his comedic persona, chimed in with, “This feels so right!!” hinting at the potential nostalgia and excitement surrounding the deal.

Mickie James, who has deep ties to both WWE and TNA, expressed her enthusiasm with, “Ooooh… I like this,” adding fuel to the growing speculation about what this collaboration might entail.

Zachary Wentz, currently a part of WWE NXT, delivered a series of humorous tweets. In one, he asked, “Yo, so when y’all gonna let me tag with @gigidolin_wwe at TNA? We do mixed tags over here! Pleasseeeeee!” In another, he quipped about his history with TNA, saying, “I do believe @TheTreyMiguel and I are still the number one contenders for the NXT Tag Titles right?”

Former WWE Champion John ‘Bradshaw’ Layfield (JBL) also reacted in his signature style, tweeting, “I guess I should pack an extra clothesline for Dallas next week,” likely hinting at potential cross-promotional appearances.

Meanwhile, A.J. Francis joked about the unpredictability of the wrestling world, saying, “When you walk in the back door after they kicked you out the front…”

Xia Brookside, a former NXT UK star, raised eyebrows with her cryptic tweet, “Am I going to @WWENXT?!”

The possibility of talent swaps between WWE and TNA has fans speculating about dream matches and new opportunities for wrestlers across both rosters.

Nathan Frazer kept it simple yet intriguing with, “The possibilities…”

What the Deal Means for Wrestling Fans

The WWE-TNA deal represents a significant shift in the wrestling landscape, creating opportunities for cross-promotional events, dream matchups, and shared storytelling. Both WWE and TNA have rich histories and passionate fanbases, and this partnership could bridge the gap between the two companies in unprecedented ways.

What WWE Stands To Benefit from the TNA Partnership

Watch: Bayley Brawls Roxanne Perez In Surprise NXT Return

Bayley has returned to NXT.

The January 14 episode of the Black & Silver show featured Roxanne Perez in the main event. The former NXT Women’s Champion talked about her title loss to Giulia at last week’s episode of the show and claimed that NXT did not deserve her.

This is when Bayley’s music hit and the main roster star came out to confront the 23-year-old. She tried to advise Perez on her future but the developmental star said that she didn’t ask for advice.

The two women then went back and forth on the mic talking about Bayley’s achievements in NXT. Roxanne finally lost her cool when Bayley referenced Cora Jade helping her retain her title before. The NXT star ended up attacking the Horsewoman and the two stars brawled as the episode went off air.

Bayley is set to challenge Tiffany Stratton for the Women’s Championship on this Friday’s SmackDown. After this bout was brought up in the promo today, it’s extremely likely that Perez will make her presence felt on the Blue Branded Show this week.

The announced ‘Transfer Window’ between all three of WWE’s brands is still open and it’d be interesting to see if this rivalry proves to be the catalyst for Perez’s move to the main roster.

Tiffany Stratton To Face WWE Veteran In First Women’s Title Defense

New WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton will have her hands full in her first title defense against one of WWE’s most decorated female Superstars of all time. On the latest episode of WWE SmackDown, a fatal four-way was made between Bayley, Nia Jax, Bianca Belair, and Naomi. Despite the interference of Candice LeRae, it was Bayley who stood tall, earning the win and the title match after hitting a Rose Plant on Naomi.

In a backstage promo after the match, Bayley spoke about Stratton taking a chance on herself last week when she cashed in her Money in the Bank contract. The Role Model promised to take a chance on herself in their title match, which was confirmed for next week. The match will mark Stratton’s first title defense given that WWE are currently not hosting any untelevised live events.

Find Out More About WWE’s lack of Live Events

Bayley is no stranger to gold, having held titles on Raw, SmackDown, and WWE NXT, including the WWE Women’s Champion Stratton now possesses. Like Stratton, Bayley is a former Miss Money in the Bank and cashed in succesfully to win the SmackDown Women’s Title in 2019. Now, the veteran aims to put a swift end to Stratton’s reign with the gold, while the new champ aims to prove that ‘Tiffy Time’ is here to stay.

WWE Superstars Share Their Strangest Autograph Stories

For WWE fans, securing an autograph from their favorite Superstar is often a dream come true. However, some fans take things to unexpected levels, as revealed in a recent WWE interview where Superstars shared the strangest items they’ve ever been asked to sign. Here are some of the highlights:

Bayley: Paramore Merch and Foreheads

Bayley isn’t a member of Paramore, but that hasn’t stopped fans asking her to sign some merchandise of the popular band the Role Model is a fan of. Bayley added that she’s also been asked to sign foreheads, which is her favourite thing to autograph.

Damian Priest: Underwear

Keeping his response family-friendly, Damian Priest admitted to signing “undergarments.” The Archer of Infamy refrained from revealing more details but left fans to speculate whether it was men’s or women’s underwear that earned his signature.

Sami Zayn: A Prosthetic Leg/Body Parts for Tattoos

Sami Zayn was befuddled when a fan asked him to sign their prosthetic leg, while others have asked the Honorary Uce to autograph their bodies so they can be tattooed. Zayn shared that when first asked for a tattoo-related autograph, his reaction made clear that he didn’t like the idea, but he’s trying to get better at hiding how he feels.

Kevin Owens: Body Parts for Tattoos

The self-professed ‘Real’ WWE Champion, like Zayn, has signed body parts for fans who plan to immortalize his signature in ink. While he considers it an “incredible honor,” Owens shared his nervousness about the possibility of his autograph becoming a permanent flaw on someone’s body.

Rey Mysterio: $100 bills

Rey Mysterio shared a story about fans wealthy enough to have him sign $100 bills. The WWE Hall of Famer cleverly incorporates his signature 619 move into the design, transforming the bill into a “619-dollar bill.”

Bayley Aiming For WrestleMania Dream Match with Roxanne Perez

Bayley is no stranger to competing at WrestleMania, and the Role Model is hoping her next match at the show of shows is against one of NXT’s top stars. Speaking to Going Ringside, Bayley shared that she’s eager to be the first WrestleMania adversary of NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez.

“She’s killing it as the NXT Women’s Champion… I know everybody wants to work with her, but I’m selfish, so I want to get her first Mania match.”

Perez and Bayley are “really tight friends,” the Role Model added, which would make a potential WrestleMania showdown even more special. Bayley knows all about facing friends at the Show of Shows, including her former ally IYO SKY at this year’s event in Philadelphia.

Perez has certainly impressed during her three years in WWE NXT. Already a two-time NXT Women’s Champion, The Prodigy has quickly established herself as a top-name with fans speculating that a main roster call-up will come in 2025. Whether that’s the case or not, Bayley is waiting for the 23-year-old, and ready to lock horns at WrestleMania 40.

Other Highlights

Bayley discussed more than her dream match with Roxanne Perez in the interviews. She covered a number of topics, including:

  • Speaking about WWE’s Holiday Tour, Bayley shared that travel has been easier this year thanks to several events being hosted in Florida in a row.
  • On the topic of fans becoming wrestlers, Bayley said it’s a beautiful full-circle moment and singled out her own superfan Izzy Moreno, who is now a wrestler.
  • Bayley shared that when she joined, Natalya, Tamina, and Naomi treated her with respect and helped her feel welcome. Now as a locker room leader herself, Bayley strives to be as supportive to newcomers, including NXT signings and those who’ve joined from other promotions.
  • Bayley is recovering after being part of the Women’s WarGames Match at Survivor Series and is currently enjoying some downtime before returning to action.

Bayley Names Stars Who Taught Her Locker Room Leadership

Bayley has revealed the things that have helped her develop leadership skills and become a locker-room leader in WWE.

The former Women’s Champion is one of the longest-tenured female talents in the history of the company. She is the only one of the Four Horsewomen currently active on the roster. With over a decade of experience in WWE, it’s not a surprise that a lot of up-and-coming talent look up to her.

The wrestling veteran was asked about her role as a locker room leader by WWE alumni Alicia Fox during an interview with Going Ringside podcast. Bayley recalled how the other three Horsewomen were called up to the main roster a year before her. She explained that being the most senior member of the women’s NXT locker room at the time helped her develop her leadership skills:

“I really think that year of me not being on Raw and SmackDown helped introduce the NXT girls without me having to do it. Like they did the hard part kind of where now when NXT girls were coming in it was like the locker room…. not that you guys weren’t welcoming but it was like ‘Oh we know that they’re here for the same reasons we are.’ They kind of like fluffed the feathers for me in that way.”

I Try To Pay That Forward: Bayley

When it comes to being a locker room leader on the main roster, Bayley models her conduct after the women who took care of her when she was first called up:

“But I always give credit to Natalya, to Tamina, and to Naomi. My first UK tour was with those girls. I was still in NXT but the way that they treated me with such respect, they treated me on the same level as them. They took care of me making sure like ‘Oh you put your bags here’ or ‘You could sit here on the bus’ or ‘We go to catering after this.’

Little things like that really stuck with me. I just try to do those little things for any of the new women in our locker room. Whether they come from NXT or whether you’re Jade Cargill and come from another company. I always remember how I was treated and try to pay that forward.”

Apart from this, Bayley was also asked about her WrestleMania 41 dream match. The former Champion said that she would love to face NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez in her first WrestleMania match.

Tiffany Stratton Competes After WWE Monday Night Raw In Wichita

The action didn’t stop after the latest edition of WWE Monday Night Raw went off the air. The show from Wichita, Kansas, served as the go-home show before WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event. Raw saw Drew McIntyre address his recent return to WWE programming, as well as a major change made to a championship match at this weekend’s event.

Change Made To World Heavyweight Title Match At Saturday Night’s Main Event

After the show went off the air, fans in Wichita saw two of WWE’s top female Superstars in action. Miss Money in the Bank Tiffany Stratton took on Bayley in a dark match that saw the Role Model get the victory.

Bayley was featured on Raw in an interview with Cathy Kelley, while eagle-eyed fans will have spotted the Buff Barbie. As Seth Rollins was seen backstage walking to the entrance area, Stratton could be seen speaking with Raw General Manager Adam Pearce.

Stratton’s cameo on the show has fueled speculation that she could be making a move to Raw as part of the WWE Transfer Window. The newly-announced program will see talent from Raw, SmackDown, and WWE be eligible to switch brands. On last week’s SmackDown, Nick Aldis was seen conversing with Dominik Mysterio and World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER.

In the meantime, Stratton remains Miss Money in the Bank, and has even teased inserting herself in the NXT Women’s Championship picture. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on Tiffany Stratton and her plans heading into the new year.

Cody Rhodes: Bayley Is Our Locker Room Leader, She’s WWE’s Captain

Cody Rhodes may be the face of WWE as the reigning Undisputed WWE Champion, but a different star holds the title of “locker room leader.” In a conversation with Jazzy’s World, Rhodes revealed that Bayley has stepped into the role as the roster’s leader.

“If you got a captain, you know, the C on the jersey, it’s probably her… She’s the locker room leader, and she should be.”

Rhodes also acknowledged his Legacy mentor Randy Orton as another locker room leader, highlighting their shared ability to inject excitement into any show or segment they’re part of. Bayley’s role as a locker room leader underscores the progress WWE has made in promoting equality between its male and female performers over the past decade.

Bayley Remains Hopeful for All-Female WWE Evolution 2 Premium Live Event

Orton has been out of action since Crown Jewel, where he and Kevin Owens brawled, causing their match to be called off. However, Orton made a triumphant return after over a year away at Survivor Series: WarGames 2023, where he was victorious inside the WarGames match. Meanwhile, Rhodes and Owens are set to clash at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

As for Bayley, she also emerged victorious at Survivor Series: WarGames and now has her sights set on the Women’s U.S. Championship. After winning her first-round match, Bayley will face Chelsea Green. The winner will advance to Saturday Night’s Main Event on 12/14 to compete against either Naomi, Tiffany Stratton, Elektra Lopez, or Michin.

Bayley Explains How Heel Turn Helped Save Her Career

Bayley believes her heel turn was vital for the longevity of her career.

The former Women’s Champion found a lot of success as a relatable babyface in NXT and then on the main roster starting in 2012. After 7 years of being a fan favorite, Bayley turned heel for the first time in late 2019.

Unlike a lot of wrestlers, the wrestling veteran used the opportunity to change a lot of things about her presentation. She debuted a new look and even got rid of her signature Bayley Buddies.

The WWE star talked about this change during an interview with Pro Wrestling Experience while promoting the upcoming Royal Rumble event in Indianapolis. Bayley explained that the heel turn was good for her career because her babyface character would not have survived during the pandemic era:

“I think about times like during the pandemic, I don’t know if that character would have been able to last through the pandemic and have the type of success that I did then.

So I always credit them [for] allowing me to have that moment and them allowing me to explore my growth because I didn’t feel that what I was doing at the time was gonna extend my career any longer. So I knew I needed to turn that page and just make something different happen.”

I Wanted To Do Everything: Bayley

The former NXT star mentioned that she does feel like she lost a genuine connection with fans when she turned heel. Bayley admitted that she wonders where she would be if she had never made the turn. The character however, also afforded her the opportunity to do some things that she always wanted to do:

“As a fan, I wanted to do everything. I want to be a bad guy, I want to be a good guy, I wanna get married in WWE. I want to have all the crazy storylines, so that was the first taste of doing something different for myself. I catered to a lot of the fans coming in, but that was something I felt I needed for my career, so I don’t regret that at all.”

Bayley formed the villainous group Damage CTRL during her heel run back in July 2022. The group led to the female star turning face once again earlier this year after she won the 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble match and challenged IYO SKY for the title.

Mercedes Moné Shares Untold Story Behind NXT TakeOver Brooklyn Classic Against Bayley

Mercedes Moné has created iconic moments in every promotion she’s been part of, from her unforgettable NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn match with Bayley to making history in NJPW, and her notable arrival in AEW.

Moné has competed against some of the biggest names in professional wrestling across these promotions, but one match stands out above the rest—not only for the fans but for Moné herself. This was the 2015 NXT Women’s Championship match, where Bayley defeated (then known as) Sasha Banks in under 20 minutes, marking a turning point in both of their careers.

In her latest fan newsletter, the “CEO” revealed an interesting behind-the-scenes detail about this all-time classic: the two had barely any time to prepare. At the time, Mone was working full-time on the main roster and traveling for a panel with Triple H, leaving them with just five minutes to discuss the match.

Little Prep Before Their Classic

“We only had maybe five minutes to talk about our match in the ring. I wanted to tell her about this crazy spot. In truth, I didn’t even want to practice it or show her because I was afraid they’d say no—or worse, the boys would see it and take it away. Yes, that happens.

So, I just kind of told her what I wanted to do. We didn’t rehearse any of it. Yet, that match turned out to be the greatest women’s match ever.”

– Mercedes Mone on her match with Bayley from NXT Takeover: Brooklyn (2015)

Another “Great Match, No Prep”

Another match that Moné holds close to her heart was her bout against Stephanie Vaquer at this year’s AEW-NJPW Forbidden Door PPV. Moné recalls Vaquer flying in the day of the event and arriving at the venue just hours before showtime. With little time to prepare, the difficulties were compounded by their language barrier (Vaquer’s first langue is Spanish).

“That was so hard. I’m like, my God, we don’t get time to walk over our moves, we speak two different languages, and we’re both tired, jet lagged, and hungry, too. Yet, that also turned out to be such a great match. She was signed by the WWE days later. I’d like to think our match had a say in that!”

– Mercedes Moné on her mach with Stephanie Vaquer at AEWxNJPW: Forbidden Door 2024

Vaquer arrived in WWE NXT television this past week on The CW and aligned with Giulia. She’ll make her NXT in-ring debut next week against Wren Sinclair.

Wrestling Stars Give Big To Help Those Hit By Hurricane Helene

In recent days, Hurricane Helene has ravaged the United States, with at least 125 people losing their lives and many more being affected. Alongside national assistance, individuals have been trying to do what they can to help out, and the world of wrestling is opening its hearts, and its wallets, to those in need.

AEW’s Cash Wheeler has launched a GoFundMe to help those affected by Hurricane Helene which has proven to be a huge success. The fundraiser has already smashed past its original goal of $25,000 USD and at this time, is sitting at over $53,000.

Here are some notable names from wrestling who have pitched in:

  • AEW President Tony Khan – $10,000
  • Chris Jericho – $5,000
  • Nick Massie (aka Nick Jackson) – $2,000
  • Orange Cassidy – $1,500
  • Pamela Martinez (aka Bayley) – $1,250
  • MJF – $1,000
  • Matt Cardona – $500
  • Cezar Bononi – $300

Hurricane Helene has affected several plans in the world of wrestling, with MLW canceling its October 4, event due to the storm. TNA has similarly canceled its upcoming tapings in Spartanburg, South Carolina, that had been scheduled for October 4. CJ Perry’s mother was left stranded due to the storm, as was her father, though Perry has since shared that her mom and dad have now been reunited.

Hurricane Helene has devastated lives, and Wheeler’s GoFundMe will do a lot of good to help those most in need. We here at SEScoops are sending our very best wishes to those affected by Hurricane Helene.

Bayley WWE Contract: Rumored expiry, dates and more

Bayley, one of WWE’s most prominent female superstars, has been a cornerstone of the women’s division for years. As with any top talent, her contract status is of great interest to fans and industry insiders alike.

Here, we’ll delve into the details of Bayley’s WWE contract, including rumored expiry dates, recent developments, and what it means for her future in professional wrestling.

Recent Contract Developments

New Multi-Year Deal Signed

According to reports late last year, Bayley did indeed sign a new multi-year contract with WWE. PWInsider and Fightful Select both reported in late 2023 that Bayley had come to terms on a new deal with the company.

This news put to rest any speculation about her immediate future and solidified her position as a key player in WWE’s women’s division for years to come.

Length of New Contract

While the exact length of Bayley’s new contract has not been publicly disclosed, it is described as a “multi-year” deal.

In WWE, such contracts typically range from three to five years, suggesting that Bayley could be locked in with the company until at least 2026 or 2027.

Previous Contract Details

Rumored Expiration Date

Prior to signing her new deal, there was speculation about when Bayley’s previous contract was set to expire. Some reports suggested that her contract was due to end in 2024, potentially around June or July.

However, with the signing of her new multi-year deal in late 2023, these earlier expiration dates are no longer relevant.

Contract Extensions and Time Added

It’s worth noting that WWE often adds time to contracts due to injuries or other periods of inactivity. Bayley suffered a torn ACL in July 2021, which kept her out of action for nearly a year.

It’s possible that this injury time was added to her previous contract, potentially extending it beyond the initially rumored 2024 expiration date.

Pro Wrestling x NFL Weekly Round Up: (Week 3)

It’s fitting that Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns began the weekend confronting one another on a football field in their memorable “cinema” exchange on SmackDown because the NFL is always full of “cinema” week in and week out.

Starting this week for the rest of the NFL season, I’ll be doing a pro football/pro wrestling round-up – how the two worlds collide with one another during the NFL season.

Week 3 of the NFL had its fair share of upsets and defining Ws for certain teams, but pro wrestling was in full force on the gridiron. Stars from WWE and AEW were not just attending the games themselves, but players also took opportunity express their pro wrestling fandom.

Seth Rollins Gets “Royal Rumbled” By Star Colts WR!

Seth Rollins is unabashed in his fandom for the Chicago Bears and wears his emotions on his sleeve whether his team wins or loses. In near signature fashion, Rollins will typically wallow in a Bears loss by posting “I hate football” on X or will celebrate by writing “I love football” instead.

Rollins’ actions spoke louder than his words this week as the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion was actually in attendance for the game as the Bears played in Indianapolis. Rollins was clearly the heel in enemy territory and a babyface TY Hilton, longtime Colts wide receiver, “tossed” Rollins “over the top” and onto the field as the Bears took the loss, dropping to 1-2 currently on the season.

Ric Flair Sees Similarities Between Aaron Rodgers and Arn Anderson

With Tom Brady retiring two seasons ago, Aaron Rodgers is currently the oldest active player in the NFL. Even with Brady, the New York Jets’ QB is one of the purest top talents to ever enter the league. It’s no surprise that before the Jets played the New England Patriots this past Thursday that Ric Flair took to social media to put a picture-by-picture comparison of Rodgers next to his Four Horsemen compatriot, Arn Anderson, one of the purest pro wrestlers to ever step foot in the ring.

Rodgers infamously tore his Achilles tendon to start the 2023 season, taking him out for the whole year, but much like Arn, Rodgers didn’t appear to age on Thursday as he ripped the Patriots apart, going 27 for 35 with 281 passing yards, two touchdowns and a 118.9 passer rating. The Jets are now 2-1 after handing their division rival one hefty loss.

Sheamus Revs Up The Tennessee Titan Fans (Almost)

Sheamus may be Irish, but The Celtic Warrior packs quite the presence in Nashville, TN. Sunday was no exception as Sheamus took to Nissan Stadium to amp up the crowd ahead of the Titans playing the Packers. However, all that was “White Noise” as Will Levis and the Titans fell to the Green Bay Packers 30-14.

Jamaal Williams Believes In Joe Hendry

Many wrestling fans “believe” in Joe Hendry, but some NFL players do too. Jamaal Williams, running back for the New Orleans Saints, is one of them. Heading into warm-ups before his team played the Philadelphia Eagles this weekend, Williams hit up the Saints social media team to sing the Joe Hendry theme for the viewers.

Williams may now have channel Journey with “Don’t Stop Believing” as the Saints fell to the Eagles 15-12.

AEW & WWE Stars Reunite For The 49ers vs. The Rams

There was quite the pro wrestling reunion in Los Angeles this weekend as AEW stars joined up with WWE stars to celebrate their San Francisco 49ers. Bayley, Leila Gray, Mercedes Mone, Tamina Snuka and Naomi all met up to cheer on the Brock Purdy-led red and gold. However, much like Giovanni Vinci this past Friday with Apollo Crews, the Los Angeles Rams has the Niners’ number, rolling up for an upset win with a game-winning field goal.

Wrestling Related Games Win-Loss Record

It’s a rough start to the season for wrestling and football related news as the team tied with pro wrestling went 1-4 for the week.

WWE & AEW Stars Unite For San Francisco 49ers vs. LA Rams Game

AEW wrestlers and WWE Superstars don’t share the ring, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t friendships that go beyond where a talent works. This week, the ‘Forbidden Door’ was opened at an NFL game that saw the San Francisco 49ers take on the Los Angeles Rams.

On Twitter, AEW’s Leila Grey shared some photos from the game, which she watched alongside TBS Champion Mercedes Moné, Bayley, Naomi, and Tamina Snuka.

Despite holding a 24-14 lead in the fourth quarter, the 49ers were unable to fend off a late surge by the Rams, who clinched a 27-24 victory with a game-winning field goal as time expired. Bayley’s love for the 49ers is no secret, as she presented George Kittle with a WWE Legacy Championship earlier this year and pumped up fans at the January game.

This game also proved to be a reunion for Moné, Naomi, and Tamina who formed Team B.A.D (Beautiful and Dangerous) when Mone was called up to the main roster in 2015. The group feuded with Team Bella (The Bella Twins and Alicia Fox) and PCB (Paige, Charlotte Flair, and Becky Lynch) before Moné (then Sasha Banks) split from Team B.A.D in early 2016.

While discourse about WWE and AEW may get heated among fans on social media, these five wrestlers enjoyed each other’s company at the game, even if the result didn’t go their way. Stay tuned to SEScoops for all the latest on WWE and All Elite Wrestling.

Big Return Featured On 8/30 WWE SmackDown (Spoiler)

A major WWE star made her long-awaited return to WWE SmackDown on August 30, 2024, after being absent since WWE SummerSlam earlier this month. Bayley, who had a notable match against Nia Jax at SummerSlam, reappeared in a surprising moment during tonight’s tapings.

During the go-home episode of SmackDown before Bash At Berlin, Bayley made a dramatic entrance by interrupting Tiffany Stratton’s attack on Michin. As Stratton was poised to deliver her signature Prettiest Moonsault Ever, Bayley intervened, stopping the assault and chasing Stratton into the crowd. Watch the moment here:

Bayley, who first won the WWE Women’s Title at WrestleMania 40 by defeating IYO SKY, has recently been on a babyface run since parting ways with her former faction, Damage CTRL. Interestingly, Damage CTRL has also undergone a transformation, now appearing as babyfaces on WWE RAW.

With Bash At Berlin taking place tomorrow, WWE has intensified its efforts to build momentum for SmackDown, with Bayley’s return being a key highlight. Additionally, it has been announced that Giovanni Vinci will make his WWE SmackDown debut next week on September 6.

With Bayley back, SmackDown’s women’s division now features a strong roster of babyfaces, including Michin, Naomi, Bianca Belair, and Jade Cargill. The primary heels are Nia Jax and Tiffany Stratton.
