Becky Lynch & Lacey Evans Trade Shots On Twitter

Becky Lynch defeated Lacey Evans at the Money in the Bank PPV this week. Evans then helped Charlotte Flair defeat Lynch for the Smackdown title, however, likely meaning the rivalry between the two RAW Superstars is not over.

Lynch posted the following earlier today likely in reference to comments Lacey made on RAW:

    https://twitter.com/BeckyLynchWWE/status/1130836423165337600

To which Lacey Evans responded with:

To which the Man responded with the following:

Evans then corrected Lynch, noting that her Cameo fee is actually $35.

She would lower the price, however, so long as customers use the promo code: #Becky1Belt.

Lacey Evans on the Main Roster

The Lynch vs Evans RAW Women’s title match from Money in the Bank was just the 4th single’s match Evans has had on the main roster (not including house shows). She lost to Natalya on Main Event in her first single’s match, she then defeated Natalya on RAW 10 weeks later in a #1 Contenders match.

Evans won a squash match over Allie Katrina in just her 3rd single’s match on the main roster before losing to Lynch at Money in the Bank.

    Becky Lynch Championship Statistics

Lynch’s run with the Smackdown Women’s Championship ended after 42 days and no successful title defenses on WWE programming. It was her 3rd reign with the title as she was also the inaugural holder of the belt. She also held the title for 91 days in late 2018, losing the title to Asuka at the TLC PPV in December.

Becky Lynch Retains RAW Women’s Title At WWE Money In The Bank

Becky Lynch has her first title defense done as she continues her dominance in the WWE women’s division.

As seen at Sunday’s (May 19, 2019) WWE Money In The Bank pay-per-view event in Hartford, CT at the XL Center on the WWE Network, Lynch retained the WWE RAW Women’s Title over Lacey Evans. This marked her first match of the night as she pulls double duty.

This match was set up on the April 22nd episode of WWE’s flagship show, Monday Night RAW when WWE confirmed that Evans would challenge Lynch for the women’s title on the red brand at this latest pay-per-view event.

She snapped Ronda Rousey’s winning streak as she beat the former champion and Charlotte Flair in a triple threat match at WWE WrestleMania 35, which ended up serving as the main event to win the RAW and SmackDown Women’s Title.

With Evans still being green and there being plenty of talent in the women’s division on RAW, it appears that WWE will move forward with a different feud.W

Becky Lynch Reveals Who She Would Join Forces With To Enter WWE Tag-Team Division

While on the 2019 WWE European Tour, Becky Lynch spoke with all kinds of international media. Among her media obligations during the tour, “Becky 2 Belts” spoke with a couple of media members in a scrum while overseas.

The reigning RAW and SmackDown Women’s Champion was asked during the media scrum earlier this week if she feels she is the true “Face of WWE” now that she is the only Superstar on the roster to simultaneously hold two World Championships.

Never one to lack confidence, Lynch explained why she is, in fact, “The Man” in WWE right now, not her boyfriend and WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins.

“Absolutely, absolutely, I’m running two shows,” Lynch said during the interview. “Freakin’ A.J. Styles and Seth Rollins can argue about the house that A.J. built or this is freakin’ Monday Night Rollins. No, no, no,” she added. “There’s only one person in the company with two belts. I’m running the show.”

As she is currently sitting on top of the RAW and SmackDown women’s singles divisions, Lynch was asked who she would entertain joining forces with if she were to make a run for the WWE Women’s Tag-Team Championships.

    [youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vEJmX0EsZjc&w=100&h=387]

While she acknowledged that one year ago her answer would have been an easy one, Charlotte Flair, the Irish WWE mega-star went on to name a different WWE Superstar.

“Oh! Good question,” said Lynch. “If you asked me a year ago, I would have said Charlotte, but I don’t know. Things have gone way too sour at this stage. Who would I want?”

Lynch continued, revealing that if she were to make a run in the WWE Women’s tag-team division, it would be alongside Naomi.

“I guess you gotta go with who you think you can trust the most and I think it’s gotta be Naomi,” said Lynch. “Yeah, I think it’s gotta be Naomi.”

She even offered a quick idea for a potential team name for the duo.

“Fire and Glow,” Lynch said. “Or something like that.”

WWE RAW and SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch competes in two matches at Sunday night’s WWE Money In The Bank 2019 pay-per-view. “The Man” will defend her RAW Women’s Championship against Lacey Evans, and she will also defend her SmackDown Women’s Championship against Charlotte Flair.

After wrapping up her schedule for the 2019 WWE European Tour at the WWE live event in Cardiff, Wales on Saturday, Becky Lynch spoke with the WWE website team for an exclusive interview.

In the interview taped backstage at the Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff, Wales after Saturday’s RAW non-televised live event, “The Man” spoke about her experience working in the European market as a double-champion in WWE.

“It’s been an incredible European tour,” said Lynch. “It’s an experience that I can’t even describe,” she added, before turning her attention to Sunday night’s WWE Money In The Bank pay-per-view.

“But it’s not over,” said Lynch. “Because [Saturday] I’ll fly back to America [and] at Money In The Bank I’m defending both my titles.”

The RAW and SmackDown Women’s Champion kept busy during the tour, defending her RAW and SmackDown Women’s Championship in singles and triple-threat matches before heading into Sunday night’s WWE Money In The Bank pay-per-view, where she will compete in two matches in the same night.

As noted, “Becky 2 Belts” is scheduled to defend her RAW Women’s Championship against Lacey Evans at Sunday night’s PPV at the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut. She will also be competing in one-on-one action a second time during the show, as she defends her SmackDown Women’s Championship against Charlotte Flair in a separate singles match.

“I’m slapping the head off of them and I’m walking out of Money In The Bank still ‘Becky-2-Belts,’” Lynch said of her title defenses against Evans and Flair this Sunday night.

Becky Lynch & Nia Jax Renew Hostilities On Twitter

Becky Lynch got under Nia Jax’s skin recently on Twitter. Lynch was responding to a Tweet featuring Lacey Evans cleaning a toilet when she mentioned Nia. In previous Twitter wars, Lynch had pointed out that another word for toilet is Jax.

Becky 2 Belts at Money in the Bank

Becky Lynch will have at least 2 title matches on Sunday. She is scheduled to defend the RAW Women’s Championship against Lacey Evans and the Smackdown Women’s Championship against Charlotte Flair.

The women’s Money in the Bank match will also take place on Sunday. Last year, Alexa Bliss won the Money in the Bank and cashed it in on the same night. If the same situation occurs this year with the women’s Money in the Bank match, Lynch could potentially have 3 title defenses tomorrow night in Hartford.

    Nia Jax Injury

The former RAW Women’s Champion is currently on the shelf after having had double knee surgery.

“Some of you may or may not know, but I will be out of action for a little while,” Nia Jax said regardding her injury. “Unfortunately, I have been pushing through some pain over the last year due to injuries in my knees and I will be undergoing surgery to repair both of my ACLs. I’m grateful to everyone who has supported me! Thank you!”

Lacey Evans has her biggest match thus far in her pro wrestling career lined up as she’ll challenge WWE RAW and SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch at the Money In The Bank pay-per-view event.

Since being called up to the main roster from NXT, the company has gotten behind Evans. The WWE prospect recently spoke with Yahoo Sports where she opened up on when she found out about the feud.

“Initially it started with the walkouts, but at no point did I have any idea what it would lead to,” Evans said. “I didn’t find out until the day that I laid hands on Becky that there would be an angle.

I didn’t expect anything, I just went to the shows ready to do anything that they needed from me. That’s what they needed and I took it and ran with it.”

Lynch will be pulling double duty when WWE presents the Money In The Bank pay-per-view event on Sunday, May 19, 2019 in Hartford, CT at the XL Center that will air on the WWE Network as she will defend her titles against Evans and Charlotte Flair.

Becky Lynch Reflects On When Her Rise To The Top Started

WWE RAW & SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch recently spoke with MassLive.com to talk about a wide range of pro wrestling related topics.

During the interview, she was asked about her rise to the top of WWE. This is where she made it known that she thinks last year’s Money In the Bank pay-per-view started the journey that she’s on and featured as a top act in the company.

According to Lynch, she thinks the fans were sick of her being overlooked by the company, which started the movement.

“Every time I stepped foot on the ladder, to win that contract [to receive a championship opportunity], the crowd went mad. It showed everyone that I have a bond with the audience. That maybe they were sick of me being overlooked. And I really attribute that to everything else that happened.”

Lynch will pull double duty against Charlotte Flair and Lacey Evans at the Money In The Bank pay-per-view event on Sunday, May 19, 2019 in Hartford, CT at the XL Center that will air on the WWE Network.

She’ll defend the RAW Title against Evans while Flair will challenge her for the SmackDown Title.

  • Becky Lynch & Seth Rollins Confirm They Are Dating

Becky Lynch & Seth Rollins Confirm They Are Dating

WWE Champions Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins have gone public about their rumored romantic relationship. The revelation comes after the RAW and SmackDown Women’s champion had a Twitter exchange with Beth Phoenix, who is married to WWE Hall of Famer Adam “Edge” Copeland.

    “I’ll Ask Him…”

Uploading a photo of herself holding her championships aloft, Lynch’s initial tweet issued a warning to Phoenix, who is standing next to her in the image. She advised the Glamazon to not “get too close to that title.”

Phoenix would respond by writing, “No worries Becky Lynch… I’m just glad that we are friends and not steaming over a silly little detail like being tied for number of title reigns. Cheers!”

But it was Lynch’s next response that would bring Beth Phoenix’s husband, Edge, into the conversation.

“Yeah, we’re neck and neck alright” she said, including an image of her and Edge, who was forced into an unfortunate retirement due to a neck injury.

Edge would then insert himself into the proceedings:

“Listen The Man, you’re doing good for yourself now kid. But we can all find the footage of your steampunk phase, with a familiar entrance where you attempt Edge lite. And fail. Sooooo begone with you.”

At this point, Lynch mentioned that WWE wanted her to be “nicer” on social media. She conceded Edge’s point with a tongue-in-cheek reference to his old theme music.

Beth Phoenix would then ask her friend if they were “involving our men now” to which Becky 2 Belts replied, “I’ll ask him…@WWERollins?” providing public confirmation that the two are officially dating.

WWE Champ-Champ Becky Lynch, Daniel Bryan Workout with Conor McGregor’s Head Coach

WWE champ-champ Becky Lynch and Daniel Bryan decided to stop by the home of former UFC champ-champ Conor McGregor while touring Ireland this week.

On Thursday, WWE posted photos of Lynch and Bryan working out at Straight Blast Gym (SBG) Ireland, the gym that McGregor calls home, as they worked with the Irishman’s head coach John Kavanagh.

Lynch has actually worked out with Kavanagh previously when she was back at home in Ireland.

Both McGregor and Kavanagh have often shown support of Lynch during her professional wrestling career. In fact, McGregor sent out a special congratulations to Lynch after she reached ‘champ-champ’ status following her win in the WrestleMania 35 main event.

“The Man’ Becky-Two Belts, the champ-champ is here at SBG, the place that breeds the champ-champs in Ireland,” Lynch said. “Now I’m not saying this is the sole reason but I started training with John Kavanagh about this time last April and since then it’s been nowhere but up.”

Lynch even did her best McGregor impression as she copied his strut walking through the gym.

Meanwhile, Bryan is an avid mixed martial arts and Brazilian jiu-jitsu enthusiast who has trained alongside former UFC champion Benson Henderson at the MMA Lab in Arizona in the past as well.

WWE is currently on tour in Europe with a stop in Ireland this week where Lynch and Bryan took the time to get some extra training in with one of the top teams on the Emerald Isle.

Bryan has brushed up against more than a few fighters in his career as well.

Bryan famously engaged in a short war of words with welterweight competitor Mike Jackson after he dismantled former WWE superstar CM Punk in his second UFC fight.

He also fired off a few social media messages at reigning UFC flyweight champion Henry Cejudo after he went on a viral campaign hoping to catch the attention of Bryan’s sister-in-law, Nikki Bella.

Now it appears Lynch and Bryan are getting in a little extra training and sparring under Kavanagh and his team at SBG before stepping back into the ring during the WWE European tour.

  • Becky Lynch: It Seems Sasha Banks Can’t Hack It In WWE

Becky Lynch: It Seems Sasha Banks Can’t Hack It In WWE

Former WWE Tag Team Champion Sasha Banks has been called out by a top star.

It’s been an interesting time for her over the last month. Banks hasn’t wrestled or even been seen on WWE television since WrestleMania 35 when she and Bayley lost the Women’s Tag Team Titles. The reason for that is due to Banks reportedly wanted to leave the company over WrestleMania weekend.

Earlier this week, Pwinsider.com reported that there were rumblings in WWE that she might be returning from her hiatus. The belief about this situation is that she has been frustrated with her role in the company.

WWE RAW and SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch recently did an interview with Sports Illustrated where she spoke about a wide range of topics. During the interview, she had interesting comments for her good friend.

“Come fight me, Sasha. At one time, Sasha Banks was the top dog, she was ‘The Boss,’ but Sasha’s fallen from grace. It seems like she can’t hack it. Let’s prove something.”

Lynch would continue by bringing up having some great matches in NXT and it has been quite some time since they wrestled each other. She noted that she would love to do it again but this is a different time for her.

“This ain’t ‘The Lasskicker’ anymore, this is ‘The Man.’ I would love to go toe-to-toe, ‘The Man’ vs. ‘The Boss,’ to prove who is the top dog now.”

Becky Lynch Addresses Possible Ronda Rousey Rematch At WrestleMania 36

WWE RAW and SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch recently spoke with Chuck Carroll of CBS Sports to talk about a wide range of topics.

During the interview, she was asked about former champion Ronda Rousey and the impact that she had not just on the women’s division but on WWE as a whole.

This is where Lynch praised her for being a tremendous, natural, athlete but wasn’t born tough and thinks that we saw the best of Rousey before she was defeated and haven’t seen her since.

Lynch was then asked if she would like to have a rematch at next year’s WrestleMania. This event will take place Sunday, April 5th, 2020 from Tampa, FL at the Raymond James Stadium.

“If Ronda Rousey is ready to come back to try and prove herself, I would absolutely take her on. If not, then there’s plenty of other women here who are ready, willing, going day in, day out, that I would love to fight.”

WWE presents the Money In The Bank pay-per-view event on Sunday, May 19, 2019 in Hartford, CT at the XL Center. At this show, Lynch will defend the Raw Women’s Title against Lacey Evans and the SmackDown Women’s Title against Charlotte Flair.

Becky Lynch: “My Goal Was To Knock Ronda Rousey Out Of The Company”

Becky Lynch currently holds both the RAW and Smackdown Women’s Championships. She will attempt to defend both at Money in the Bank when she puts up the RAW title against Lacey Evans and the Smackdown version against Charlotte Flair. Lynch spoke to SI.com recently regarding Ronda Rousey, headlining WrestleMania, and more.

“My goal wasn’t just to knock Ronda Rousey out, it was to chase her out of the company,” Lynch said. “And we haven’t seen her since.”

“The way to beat Ronda isn’t through her body, it’s through her mind,” Lynch continued. “Once she feels like she is untouchable, that’s when she is most vulnerable. Ronda enjoyed WWE, as she did in MMA, when she was on top, but she got her jacket and left once she found out she wasn’t infallible.”

    Becky Lynch Interview Highlights

Lynch also spoke about how she was motivated to headline WrestleMania 35 following a text she received at WrestleMania 34.

“I remember getting a text at WrestleMania 34 from a friend, and the text read, ‘I heard it’s going to be Charlotte Flair vs. Ronda Rousey in the main event of WrestleMania next year,’” said Lynch. “I thought to myself, ‘How dare you not even put me in consideration?’ Even though I was looked at as a mid-card player, I always viewed myself as a top star. I knew it was just a matter of breaking through, but I just had to figure out a way to do it.”

Lynch first started training when she was 15. Finn Balor was one of her instructors early in her career. Balor was also successful at WrestleMania, defeating Bobby Lashley for the Intercontinental title. Lynch also spoke about what it was like with both her and Devitt wrestling at WrestleMania 35.

“You couldn’t write that,” said Lynch. “We started out together as little teenagers, living the dream, I was 15 and he was 20, and we end up in the semi-main event and main event of WrestleMania? And both walk out with championships? Finn found me after the show to tell me he was proud of me, and I am sure as hell proud of him.”

Becky Lynch Sends Message To Ronda Rousey, Conor McGregor & Cris Cyborg

WWE RAW and SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch recently made an appearance told 106.7 The Fan’s Chad Dukes to talk about a wide range of topics.

During the interview, Lynch wanted to send a message to former WWE RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey as well as UFC stars Conor McGregor and Cris Cyborg.

Lynch beat Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair to win the titles at WrestleMania 35 in a Winner Take All Match in East Rutherford, NJ at MetLife Stadium on the WWE Network. Regarding Rousey, Lynch praised her for coming into WWE with a lot of equity and she’s an incredibly natural athlete. However, that’s where it stops.

“But this isn’t her domain, this isn’t what she’s obsessed about for years and years and years. It’s what I have. So, for me, it was a matter of saying, ‘Okay, yeah, you’re naturally gifted. Yeah, you’re born tough. But that’s not nearly as impressive or long-lasting as being made tough.’” Lynch would then add, “So my goal was to take that championship she was holding hostage, and free it and defend it, and give it to somebody – me – who loves this business more than anything.”

Lynch switched her focus to Cyborg, who is a former UFC Women’s Featherweight Champion, due to her expressing her interest in a possible transition to WWE. Lynch would praise her for being another very talented professional in her field and welcomes anyone into wrestling who is going to put in the work but don’t expect to be handed everything.

Lynch added that wrestling and MMA are completely different and not everyone is able to do that.

Finally, McGregor, who is a former UFC Lightweight and Featherweight Champion, teasing to the possibility of him coming to WWE was brought up. Lynch stated that, “if he wants to work for it, by all means. Come on, Conor. I’ll give ya a little bit of training. I’ll show you the ropes.”

  • Update On Becky Lynch’s Planned WrestleMania 36 Opponent

Update On Becky Lynch’s Planned WrestleMania 36 Opponent

It had originally been thought that Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch would face each other in a single’s match at WrestleMania 36. That is evidently no longer the plan, however.

According to a recent report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the reason WWE is putting Lynch vs Flair at Money in the Bank later this month is that they are no longer planning on going with that match at Mania next year.

“The reason they are putting Lynch vs. Flair at Money in the Bank is that they have a different match planned for next year’s Mania for Lynch,” wrote Dave Meltzer, though he noted plans could change frequently throughout the year.

The report continues to say WWE definitely has a specific opponent for Lynch in mind at WrestleMania next year but that person is neither Charlotte Flair nor Ronda Rousey.

“The only thing we know is that she’s slotted to be the top woman on that show, and her opponent is not scheduled to be either Flair or Rousey at this point,” Meltzer continued.

Becky Lynch – Double Duty at Money in the Bank

Lynch will face two opponents on May 19th at Money in the Bank. The RAW and Smackdown Women’s Champion (champ champ) will defend her titles in separate matches on the show. Lynch will defend the RAW title against Lacey Evans and the Smackdown title against Charlotte Flair.

Becky Lynch To Face Bayley On Smackdown

Bayley and Becky Lynch will go one-on-one this week on Smackdown. It will be the first time the two have faced each other in single’s competition on the main roster.

The match comes as Becky Lynch prepares to do double-duty on the upcoming Money in the Bank PPV on May 19th. Lynch will defend the RAW title against Lacey Evans and the Smackdown title against Charlotte Flair on the show.

    Becky Lynch vs Bayley

This match will be the first time the two have faced each other on the main roster. They met each other in single’s competition on NXT programming 5 times. Lynch won the first four but Bayley won the final match between the two.

This Tuesday’s Smackdown will emanate from the Schottenstein Center in Columbus, OH.

Becky Lynch Issues Challenge To Bayley

Earlier this week, Bayley took to her official Twitter account where she made it known that she thinks being moved from WWE’s flagship show, Monday Night RAW, to SmackDown Live in the Superstar Shake-Up would be good for her.

Moving to this past Tuesday’s episode of SmackDown Live in Lincoln, NE at the Pinnacle Bank Arena, she lost a #1 contender’s match to Charlotte Flair. WWE RAW and SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch wrote back to Bayley by issuing the following statement:

Becky Lynch Says Ronda Rousey Disrespects Her Business

Raw and SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch recently had an interview with US Magzine and when asked about her arch-rival Ronda Rousey, she had the response you’d expect from the man.

Becky was asked about her WrestleMania opponent and replying to the question she said that the former UFC Star only knows how to win and she can’t handle her losses.

Continuing on the topic, Lynch brought up Ronda’s absence from WWE Programming since WrestleMania, saying that she has incredible athletic abilities but her heart isn’t in the business.

Finally, The Man said that she is very happy to get rid of the former Women’s Champion claiming that Ronda Rousey disrespects her business:

“I’m happy I beat her. I want to get rid of her… She doesn’t deserve to be here. She’s disrespected my business and I am delighted that she’s gone. If she wants to go and have a family, that’s great for her. Sail off into the sunset. But I’ll be here running the show.”

As we noted before, Ronda Rousey recently underwent hand surgery and she has no immediate plan of returning to the company anytime soon. She goes as far as admitting that she might never return to the ring again.

On the other hand, Becky Lynch appears to be at the start of an epic title reign and she is expected to defend both her titles in different matches at the upcoming Money In The Bank event.

  • Becky Lynch Will Reportedly Work Double Duty At WWE MITB

Becky Lynch Will Reportedly Work Double Duty At WWE MITB

Becky Lynch might take the ring twice at next month’s (Sunday, May 19, 2019) Money In The Bank (MITB) pay-per-view (PPV). The show goes down from the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut. Currently, Lynch is to defend her RAW Women’s Championship against Lacey Evans on the card.

However, she also has obligations as SmackDown Live Women’s Champion. Last week on RAW, Evans said she’s looking forward to winning the RAW Women’s strap. But on last night’s episode, Evans said she’s coming after both of “The Man’s” titles. Dave Meltzer addressed this on yesterday’s Wrestling Observer Radio.

Meltzer revealed that Lynch and Evans’ match won’t be for both the RAW and SmackDown Live Women’s Titles. Instead, Lynch will be defending both titles on the MITB card, but in two separate matches. It remains to be seen who will be Lynch’s challenger for the SmackDown Live Women’s Title, but that could very well be addressed on tonight’s episode.

It was speculated that Charlotte Flair might be the woman to challenge Lynch at MITB. As for Evans’ comments about both belts, Meltzer hypothesized that “The Lady Of WWE” could earn a title opportunity in both matches. Regardless of how things work out, it looks like Lynch will be having two matches on the card.

Who do you think will be Lynch’s challenger for the SDL Women’s Title at MITB?

Becky Lynch vs. Lacey Evans Signed For Money In The Bank

The first match has been signed for next month’s WWE Money In The Bank pay-per-view.

During Monday’s episode of RAW in Des Moines, IA at the Wells Fargo Arena on the USA Network, WWE confirmed that Lacey Evans would challenge WWE RAW and SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch at this event. Lynch will defend just the RAW Women’s Title.

As of this writing, WWE has yet to name a #1 contender for Lynch’s SmackDown Women’s Title.

During the 2019 WWE Superstar Shake-up edition of the red brand, which was last week, Evans defeated Natalya to earn this opportunity at the RAW Women’s Title.

Lynch snapped Ronda Rousey’s winning streak as she beat the former champion and Charlotte Flair in a triple threat match at WWE WrestleMania 35, which ended up serving as the main event in East Rutherford, NJ at MetLife Stadium, to win the titles.

  • Becky Lynch Wants To Make The Women’s Titles The Most Prestigious Titles In WWE

Becky Lynch Wants To Make The Women’s Titles The Most Prestigious Titles In WWE

Becky Lynch not only revived herself in the past year but you can argue that her character work was one of the biggest reason why women got to main event WrestleMania.

Now that The Raw and SmackDown Women’s Champion has achieved this glory which seemed impossible to many even a couple of years ago, she has a new goal in her mind.

Becky talked to People recently and revealing her new goal after her victory at WrestleMania, the double champ said that she wants to make her titles the most talked about ones in all of WWE:

“The goal now is to make these titles the most talked about ones in all of WWE. It’s to make these the most relevant titles in all of WWE. So that’s double duty, and its one thing to get to the mountain top, but it’s a whole another thing to stay there. And now I’m going to have a lot of people trying to knock me off.”

With her incredible win at the Show Of Shows, Becky Lynch is already living this goal as the Women’s titles are one of the most relevant titles in the company right now.

The interesting thing to see now is for how long the SmackDown Star holds both the belts and if she drops any of the titles anytime soon.

Lynch and Evans have not wrestled against each other previously aside from both being in the Royal Rumble this year.

  • Becky Lynch Admits She Was Afraid Of Losing The WrestleMania Main Event Status

Becky Lynch Admits She Was Afraid Of Losing The WrestleMania Main Event Status

Becky Lynch was the hottest talent at the time of Survivor Series last year and the path from there to the first ever Women’s WrestleMania main event looked clear.

However, there were road bumps waiting for the Man in this journey and their story cooled down a lot as WWE tried to figure out a way to add Charlotte Flair to this bout in the months leading to the show.

On the same time, Kofi Kingston somehow found himself in the middle of one the most appealing storylines leading to the Show Of Shows we have seen in years.

And as it turns out, Lynch who had worked very hard to create this opportunity for her, feared that the spot might be taken away from the women by the New Day Member. As she told The National:

“I was worried about it slipping away. Just because the build to the match had been so long that I was worried with Kofi heating up as much as he did, and them referring to several of the matches as the main event. Then I was like, ‘Oh, but are we the main event? But maybe they … I mean, they really should, but maybe they won’t.’ Because you never know in this place, which is a great thing but also a bad thing and a terrifying thing, especially when you’re trying to achieve all of your dreams.”

Thankfully this was one match which wasn’t affected with the last minute changes to the match order of the show and Becky Lynch, alongside Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair successfully became part of the first ever Women’s Main Event of the PPV.
