Details On MLW Trying To Sign Braun Strowman And Bo Dallas

MLW tried to sign both Bo Dallas and Braun Strowman after their release from WWE earlier this year. Though they couldn’t reach a deal with either of them.

The company CEO Court Bauer hosted a media call to promote their upcoming Fightland special. It’s scheduled to air on Vice TV this Thursday.

During the talk, Bauer was asked if they have had any discussions with recently released stars such as Bray Wyatt. Replying to it, he revealed that they actually had a conversation with Bray’s real life brother, Bo Dallas:

“So, we had conversations with Bray’s brother, and I think he seems more interested in farming, I understand having to re-charge, you gotta re-charge for another run, but right now it seems like he’s more interested in doing some farming.”

In regards of the former Universal champion, the MLW founder revealed that they did talk to the monster among men about a potential deal. Though they couldn’t come to terms with the former Wyatt family member either:

“And we did talk with Braun Strowman for a little bit, and didn’t come to terms on a deal. I can’t say where they’re gonna be headed or not, I don’t really know.”

Bo Dallas had already been preparing for his life after wrestling even before his release from WWE. So it’s no surprise that he is more interested in working on the farm he owns with Liv Morgan at the moment.

Braun Strowman on the other hand has had discussions with multiple promotions. Latest reports on his future indicate that Impact Wrestling is the most likely future destination for the former WWE star.

Bo Dallas Breaks Silence On Wrestling Future After WWE Release

Reports suggested that Bo Dallas was preparing for life after wrestling before his WWE release in April this year. So many wondered if his release marks the end of his wrestling career but the former WWE star is claiming that it’s not the case.

The former NXT champion recently had an interview with Highspots Wrestling Network. During the interview, he revealed that he actually broke his neck during his final TV appearance for the company:

“Something that a lot of people don’t know is I broke my neck two years ago. The last time I was on television on SmackDown, I think it was a segment involving — it was a B-Team segment involving Braun Strowman.”

Bo Dallas On His Wrestling Future

Dallas also addressed his wrestling status during the talk. While he mentioned how he has been dabbling in a bunch of other things, Bo Dallas claimed that he is ‘1,000 percent not done’ with wrestling:

“So, my next goal, I’m definitely, 1,000 percent not done wrestling. There’s no chance in that. My next goal is to find something that I can really sink my teeth into, something that I really love and that I’m passionate about that is not a one-off.”

He continued, “It’s not a small time thing. I’m dabbling in a bunch of other things but wrestling is my passion and I’m re-finding the love for it. If I’ve lost any of it, I’m finding that passion all over again in my way and I’m really excited. “

For those who don’t know, it was reported in early 2021 that Bo Dallas has been preparing for life after wrestling. He has been running a farm with Liv Morgan and the former champion has also started a real estate business.

Details Emerge Over Bo Dallas Backstage Role at WWE Prior to Release

Prior to his release in April, Bo Dallas had not been seen on WWE TV for over eighteen months. The former NXT champion had been riding a high wave after he and Curtis Axel formed the B-team. An unlikely fan favourite, the duo reached the top of the tag team ranks claiming the RAW tag team titles. Then, WWE released his partner, and he was removed from programming.

While many of the recent releases have come as a surprise to the WWE universe, the news of Bo Dallas being let go was greeted differently. Most people surprised to hear he was still employed, expecting his release to have simply gone unnoticed. Bo is a rather quiet person, rarely active on social media, so a quiet departure would not have been a surprise.

Now, as he approaches the end of his mandatory no-compete period, details have emerged about the role Bo Dallas played backstage at WWE.

Fightful reported that he wasn’t used in the performance center, and he didn’t try his hand at being a producer or anything else directly linked to the business his family are embedded in. Bo had instead been used to help test camera setups, lighting rigs and live event configurations.

Wrestling is in Bo Dallas’s Blood

It is no secret that Bo Dallas comes from a rich wrestling heritage. His grandfather was Hall of Famer Blackjack Mulligan. His father the taxman himself, I.R.S., and his brother is WWE stalwart, Bray Wyatt. Bo Dallas is an accomplished wrestler. He was never really afforded a real chance in WWE. Yey, with so much wrestling history running through his veins, it’s unlikely that we have seen the last of him.

Bo Dallas will undoubtedly have a fair bit of ring rust to shake off. However, with his 90 days served as of tomorrow, it will surely only be a matter of time before we see him back between the ropes again. It was reported earlier this year that Dallas, along with Liv Morgan had set up a real estate business. This is in preparation for their post wrestling careers. At just 31, Dallas surely has something left to prove, and wouldn’t want the Running Bo-Dog to be his legacy.

More On What Bo Dallas Is Doing During His Time Away From WWE

Bo Dallas is still a part of the WWE roster but the former NXT champion hasn’t been seen on WWE programming for a long time.

The latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter provides some more update on his whereabouts and the latest edition of the Newsletter reveals what the former NXT star is doing nowadays.

According to it, Dallas has been preparing for his life after wrestling and he has been running a farm with fellow WWE superstar Liv Morgan.

The two have also started a family real estate business and the brother of WWE’s Bray Wyatt has been studying the ins and outs of the industry for his future.

While Bo Dallas is still under contract with the company and getting paid by the promotion, the creative have nothing for him and at this point, they don’t even bring him in for TV tapings just in case.

The third generation wrestling star last appeared on WWE programming during the Crown Jewel event in 2019 where he competed in the tag team turmoil match with partner Curtis Axel.

However, he hasn’t made any appearances for the company since 2019 and there is no update on when or if we will ever see him returning to the WWE TV.

Backstage Update On Bo Dallas’ WWE Status

Former NXT Champion Bo Dallas hasn’t been seen on WWE programming for a while and there hasn’t been any update on his status with the company either.

Dave Meltzer recently talked about the former champion on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio and confirmed that he is still under contract with the company.

The wrestling journalist noted that the company has not released Dallas despite having nothing for him,:”he’s still there, still got a job. No idea what or why or anything. [It’s a] big mystery.”

The 30 year old had said that he was going on a ‘life changing expedition’ in late 2019 and fans would see a Bo they have never seen, but he hasn’t been seen on WWE programming since that year.

Bo Dallas last wrestled for the company during a house show in November 2019. His last on-screen appearance was at the Crown Jewel event in October the same year where he competed in the tag team turmoil match.

His last storyline was with Curtis Axel as part of the B-Team but the duo were disbanded when the company released Axel as part of the coronavirus budget cuts in April 2020.

Bo Dallas has been a part of the WWE roster since 2008. He has won a few titles in the company during his time, including the NXT title in the brand’s early days.

Two other matches have already been announced for Raw tomorrow night. Ronda Rousey will go one-on-one with Alicia Fox as she competes on Raw for the first time ever, and Bobby Roode takes on Mojo Rawley.

Championship Match Announced For Next Monday’s WWE RAW

WWE has announced the first match for next week’s episode of Monday Night RAW on the USA Network.

During this week’s episode of RAW in Buffalo, NY at the KeyBank Center, RAW Tag Team Champions The B-Team (Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel) beat The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor) in a non-title match.

After the match, Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt appeared on the big screen to cut a promo where they announced that they would be challenging the champions for the straps on next Monday’s RAW.

This comes hot off the heels of Dallas and Axel beating Hardy and Wyatt to win the RAW Tag Team Titles at Sunday’s (July 15, 2018) WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view event in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at the PPG Paints Arena on the WWE Network.

WWE holds next week’s show in Cincinnati, OH at the US Bank Arena. As of this writing, only one other match has been announced for next week’s show, which is a #1 contender’s match that will determine who will challenge Brock Lesnar for the Universal Title at the upcoming SummerSlam pay-per-view event.

What are your thoughts on this rematch being booked? Should they wait to make this match happen at SummerSlam? Sound off in the comment section.

Bray Wyatt Offers To “Fix” Bo Dallas & Curtis Axel

A recent social media post by Bray Wyatt has some wondering if Bo Dallas & Curtis Axel will join the “Woken” world of Matt Hardy’s. Dallas and Axel had previously been working as the Miz-tourage but their mentor was sent to Smackdown during the Superstar Shakeup.

Since that time, Axel and Dallas have approached both Seth Rollins and Finn Balor in the hopes of becoming their entourage. Now, Dallas’ real-life brother is reaching out to the pair with an offer to help.

Matt then responded with a Gif of himself:

Curtis Axel appears to be pondering the idea:

Bray Wyatt & Matt Hardy and Raw’s Tag-Team Division

Bray Wyatt and Matt Hardy will have a chance to win the Raw tag-team championships on Friday in Saudi Arabia. The “Woken Warriors” will meet former champions, the Bar, for the vacant titles. The titles were vacated when Braun Strowman’s tag-team partner, Nicholas, had to return to school.

Considering the Bar have been drafted to Smackdown, it’s not clear what will happen to the Raw tag-team titles if they are won by a team from another brand.

The last 3 weeks on Raw, Wyatt & Hardy have defeated Titus Worldwide, the Revival, and the Ascension. Other teams in the division now also include the Authors of Pain and Breezeango.

Bo Dallas turns 28 next month and has been signed to WWE since he was a teenager. He wrestled his first match in WWE’s developmental system as an 18-year-old. During his time on the main roster, he has worked a motivational speaker gimmick, been a part of the Social Outcasts, and most recently as a member of the Miz’s Miz-tourage.

38-year-old Curtis Axel first signed with WWE in 2007. He’s worked several gimmicks during his time on the main roster. Axel had a run as a “Paul Heyman Guy” and won the Intercontinental Championship. He also teamed with Ryback and imitated Hulk Hogan for awhile as well. Most recently, Axel has been a part of the Social Outcasts and the Miz-tourage.

Raw Tag Team Title & Pre-Show Matches Set For WWE Elimination Chamber

WWE Elimination Chamber 2018 now has two tag team matches and one of them has gold on the line.

The Bar (Sheamus & Cesaro) will defend their Raw Tag Team Championships against Titus Worldwide (Titus O’Neil & Apollo) on the main card. It’s an interesting match-up as Apollo teased a split from Titus on a recent edition of WWE’s Mixed Match Challenge. Could the full turn come to fruition on Sunday night?

Read part of WWE’s announcement below:

“Since solidifying themselves as an elite tandem, Raw Tag Team Champions Cesaro & Sheamus have claimed, “We don’t set the bar; WE ARE THE BAR!” At WWE Elimination Chamber, however, that bar may very well be cleared when the reigning titleholders go to war against Titus Worldwide.”

That’s Not All

As far as the pre-show match goes, that slot belongs to The Good Brothers (Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson) vs. The Miztourage (Bo Dallas & Curtis Axel). This of course will be part of the WWE Elimination Chamber Kickoff show. That announcement can also be seen below:

“Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson have never called someone a nerd and not wanted to beat them up, and the former Raw Tag Team Champions will get just such a chance when they face the two most meddlesome enforcers on the Raw roster — The Miztourage — at WWE Elimination Chamber Kickoff.”

Update On Medical Outbreak Affecting WWE Superstars

As we’ve previously reported, a drastic medical outbreak in the WWE locker room is forcing the company to make huge changes to this weekend’s Tables Ladders and Chairs (TLC) pay-per-view (PPV). Monday Night RAW General Manager Kurt Angle has replaced Roman Reigns in the event’s main event; as he’ll team up with Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose to take on the team of The Miz, The Bar (Sheamus and Cesaro), Braun Strowman, and Kane.

Also on the card was a scheduled bout between Bray Wyatt and Finn Balor. Wyatt was also affected by the illness and has been replaced by SmackDown Live’s AJ Styles. Per a report from Wrestling Inc., the illness affecting the WWE locker room is the mumps. WINC. describes the illness as the following:

“Mumps is an airborne virus that can be spread by saliva or utensils – even plates or cups – with an infected person. It can also be spread by coughing or sneezing. Symptoms usually take 16-18 days to appear. It then usually takes several days to a week to disappear.”

WWE had been testing RAW talents for Viral Meningitis, however, it was later discovered that the illness was the mumps. No word yet on if more changes will be made to TLC since the outbreak. There is also no news on whether or not SmackDown Live talent is being tested as well. More to come…..

Bray Wyatt And Bo Dallas Miss WWE Live Events, Kevin Owens Is Back On Instagram

– Both Bray Wyatt and his real-life brother Bo Dallas missed this weekend’s WWE Live Events fuelling various rumors about their absence from WWE Shows recently.

It’s worth mentioning here that the duo did not attend last week’s Raw tapings either. While Wyatt appeared on the episode through a video package, it was reportedly taped sometimes before the show.

Bray Wyatt hasn’t wrestled since the October 2nd episode of Raw where he was part of a dark match. At this point, there is no news on the reason behind their absence, but we’ll keep you posted.

– After staying away from Instagram for a while due to people trying to get into his account, Kevin Owens is back on the social media site. Below is a video of him telling fans about his new Insta handle:

Big Cass Claims He Can Defeat Brock Lesnar (Video), Tye Dillinger Invites The Miz To SmackDown

Big Cass thinks he can defeat Brock Lesnar and become the next Universal Champion

Big Cass was a guest on RAW Talk after WWE Great Balls Of Fire went off the air. Cass defeated Enzo Amore in convincing fashion earlier in the night. Cass was asked about facing Lesnar and here was his response:

“It would be a tough task to go up against The Beast but if there is anybody out there that can do it, I think it is me. I think I can handle The Beast, I think I can go toe-to-toe with The Beast and I think I can beat The Beast. I think I can be the Universal Champion, in fact I think I am the next Universal Champion.”

Tye Dillinger invites The Miz to SmackDown

The Miz defended his Intercontinental Championship at Great Balls Of Fire against Dean Ambrose. The Miz was able to retain his title thanks to constant distractions and interference from Maryse, Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel. Tye Dillinger sent out the following tweet after The Miz retained his Intercontinental Championship and invited him to SmackDown:

The Miz and Maryse were also guests on RAW Talk last night. The Miz claimed that WWE was doing nothing with Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas, but he saw something in them while filming The Marine 5. Bo Dallas revealed that it had been two years that he has been involved in a WWE PPV in two years and that The Miz has given him an opportunity. You can check out a clip of the interview in the video below.

New Day Looks To Make History Next Week, Emmalina’s Return, More

– The New Day could make history next week by surpassing Demolition as the longest reigning tag team champions in WWE history. They’ll have one final challenge before staking their claim to the honor. Next week on RAW, it will be New Day vs. Gallows & Anderson vs. Sheamus & Cesaro with New Day’s gold up for grabs.

Discussion: Will New Day break Demolition’s record next week, or will one of the other teams spoil their big accomplishment?

– Matches taped prior to RAW for this week’s episode of Main Event included Bo Dallas vs. Sin Cara and Darren Young vs. Jinder Mahal.

– As announced on RAW, Emma is making her WWE television return as “Emmalina” next week.

Bo Dallas: Video Of His Public Intoxication Arrest

TMZ Sports has released the police body cam footage of Bo Dallas’ public intoxication arrest from 8/26 at a Dallas, TX airport.

After being kicked off his flight for yelling at the flight crew, police found him at a terminal after receiving complaints about his condition. According to the police report, he “demonstrated very poor dexterity” and smelled of alcohol. When asked how much he was drinking, he told cops he wasn’t really planning on driving that night. As you can see from the video, he’s slurring his speech, dropping things and doesn’t seem fit to fly. While loading him into the police vehicle, an officer can be heard saying, “He’s a wrestler. He’s been cooperative, but he’s a strong boy.”

Bo Dallas was not suspended by WWE for the incident. He was back in action last week on RAW, where he won a quick match against an enhancement talent. He was overseas this weekend for WWE’s live event from Shanghai, where he lost to the debuting Tian Bin (formerly Bin Wang).

Bo Dallas Update Following Public Intoxication Arrest

As noted last week, Bo Dallas was pulled from the recent WWE tour of Mexico after being arrested at the the Dallas-Fort Worth airport airport for public intoxication. The news of Bo Dallas’ arrest was first reported by Pro Wrestling Sheet.

After being kicked off his flight for yelling at the flight crew, police found him at a terminal, slumped in a chair. According to the police report, he “demonstrated very poor dexterity” and smelled of alcohol. When asked how much he was drinking, he told cops he wasn’t really planning on driving that night. He was deemed drunk enough to be a danger to himself and others and was arrested.

Bo Dallas has been disciplined for the incident, but he’s still with the company. No word yet on his punishment, but he was not at TV this week. Either way, it’s a lucky break for the RAW Superstar.

Bo Dallas will face WWE newcomer Bin Wang in Shanghai, China next week on September 10th.

Samoa Joe On Reason He Was Brought To NXT, Working With A Young John Cena, More

During his recent appearance alongside Bo Dallas and Neville on WWE Network’s “Table For 3” original series, veteran wrestler and NXT star Samoa Joe spoke about working with a young John Cena in UPW and how Jim Ross told Joe he wasn’t what WWE was looking for back then.

“That’s where John started,” said Joe. “Actually, I worked with him a ton. He was dedicated back then, so anyways, John got the [WWE] deal. I met Jim Ross at the time and Jim Ross said, ‘you know, maybe you’re not really what we’re looking for right now’.”

Joe also spoke about working international territories and ultimately making it to WWE.

“Contrary to wisdom back when I first started out, way back when, I find myself here in WWE.”

Samoa Joe also spoke about the reason he was brought to NXT, and how he still has aspirations of joining the main WWE roster.

“I was kind of brought in to add to the momentum that NXT has going. I mean, obviously, I think we all want to go win the big one, but I also wouldn’t mind helping NXT be part of a bigger thing.” Joe added, “it’s a real unusual kind of time, to kind of be a part of this process and a very unique position for me, kind of, coming in, so, I don’t know, man. I’m kind of laying back and seeing what cards are dealt and playing the best hand.”
