  • Details On This Week’s TNA No Surrender Show, How To Get Free Tickets

    TNA Impact Wrestling will be running a local food drive in St. Louis for free tickets to the live No Surrender edition of Impact Wrestling this Thursday on Spike TV. The food drive will benefit the St. Louis Food Bank. If you live in the St. Louis area, and are interested in free tickets to No Surrender, or simply want to help out, bring five non-perishable food items to Slumberland Furniture at 4265 Rusty Road in St. Louis and you will receive a free ticket to the show.

    As of right now, the event is set to feature the following matches:

    -Bully Ray (c) vs. Mr. Anderson [TNA World Heavyweight Championship]
    -AJ Styles vs. Austin Aries [TNA Bound For Glory Series Semi-Final]
    -Bobby Roode vs. Magnus [TNA Bound For Glory Series Semi-Final]
    -The winners of the previous two matches will compete in the TNA Bound For Glory Series Final. Additionally, the winner will challenge the TNA World Heavyweight Champion, for the title, at the TNA Bound For Glory pay-per-view event in San Diego, California on October 20th.

  • Magnus To Miss Tonight’s Impact Wrestling, Update On Bound For Glory Series Matches

    TNA Wrestling issued a statement this afternoon through its company website concerning tonight’s Bound For Glory Series matches on Impact Wrestling since tournament leader Magnus will be not be appearing on the show “due to an unforeseen issue.”

    The British grappler was scheduled to compete against Jeff Hardy and as a result of his absence, they have announced the following changes to the show.

    “Magnus, due to an unforeseen issue, will not be appearing on tonight’s Impact Wrestling on Spike TV. Magnus currently has competed in 5 matches and was scheduled to face Kazarian on Xplosion this week and Jeff Hardy on Spike TV tonight. Due to the circumstances, TNA officials have met and made the following decision:

    “Magnus will stand with his current total of 39 points. Jeff Hardy and Kazarian will face each other tonight on Impact Wrestling on Spike TV to make up their originally scheduled match with Magnus. Also the originally scheduled Kazarian vs. Hernandez match will move to Xplosion this week.

    “Must Win Thursday“ tonight will now feature three matches with serious implications on the BFG Series Final Four scheduled for No Surrender in St. Louis; Austin Aries vs. Christopher Daniels, Jeff Hardy vs. Frankie Kazarian, and AJ Styles vs. Bobby Roode. Tune in tonight at 9/8c for all this and the return of Hulk Hogan on Spike TV.”

  • Tonight’s Live Impact Wrestling: Hulk Hogan’s Return, Confirmed Matches, BFG Series

    TNA Impact Wrestling emanates from the Wolstein Center in Cleveland, Ohio for a live broadcast tonight on Spike TV. The company will also tape next week’s edition of Impact Wrestling tonight in Cleveland.

    On tap for the live Impact Wrestling broadcast tonight is the return of Hulk Hogan, as well as a follow-up to the storyline of Bully Ray dropping Brooke Hogan in favor of Brooke Tessmacher, the fallout to Devon leaving TNA following the Aces & 8’s loss to Main Event Mafia and AJ Styles explaining why he dropped his loner gimmick.

    TNA will also wrap up their Bound For Glory Series “regular season” tonight, with the following matches:

    -AJ Styles vs. Bobby Roode
    -Austin Aries vs. Christopher Daniels
    -Kazarian vs. Hernandez

It was announced during the presser that it will be declared “TNA Impact Wrestling Day” in Little Rock on September 26, 2013. As noted previously, TNA will run their first ever Impact Wrestling television broadcast out of Little Rock on 9/26.

    TNA returns to Spike TV tonight for a new episode of Impact Wrestling. Additionally, TNA will tape next week’s episode of Impact Wrestling tonight in Wichita Falls, Texas.

    The following is a rundown of what fans can expect on tonight’s show.

  • “Gut Check” Contestant Behind “#August1Warning” Video?, BFG Series Update, Knockouts Photo Book

    – The official YouTube account of TNA Wrestling posted a video on Friday featuring a mysterious individual delivering a warning (officially titled “#August1Warning”) for next Thursday’s Impact Wrestling in Wichita Falls, Texas, where he cryptically revealed that he has a problem which needs to be solved. The individual in question could be “Scrap Iron” Adam Pearce, who competed in a “Gut Check” match in April—he won the bout but was not signed to a contract. A few hours after the video was posted, the acclaimed independent wrestler hinted through Twitter at something occurring on August 1.

    “By the way, how many days til #August1?” he wrote.

    – At Friday’s TNA live event in Columbus, Ohio, Mr. Anderson picked up 7 points in the Bound For Glory Series by defeating AJ Styles in a singles match. This brings the two-time TNA World Heavyweight Champion’s point total to 21 and ties him with Christopher Daniels for fourth place.

  • TNA Announces Winner Of Online Gut Check Challenge, Joseph Park Reacts To Big Win On Impact (Video)

    – The official website of TNA Wrestling has announced “Bad Bones” John Klinger as the winner of the Gut Check Challenge, an online tournament.

    As a result of his victory, Klinger has earned the opportunity to compete in the Gut Check Challenge on a future episode of Impact Wrestling.

    Of the 6,361 votes cast in the final round, Klinger garnered 2,185. The runner-up was “Portugal’s Perfect Athlete” Shanna, who drew 1,571. Finalists were WWE Tough Enough contestant A.J. Kirsch, The Big O, Lufisto, and Chance Prophet, among other independent wrestlers.

    – As seen Thursday on Impact Wrestling, Joseph Park qualified for the Bound For Glory Series by defeating Crimson. In this Inside IMPACT video, Park reacts to his big win.

  • James Storm Finishes First In BFG Series & Semi Finals Set

    – James Storm finished in first place of the 2012 Bound for Glory Series “regular season.” After Jeff Hardy defeated Samoa Joe on Thursday’s Impact, Storm finished with 73 points, while Joe (in second place) had 68 points.

    – James Storm, Samoa Joe, Bully Ray, and Jeff Hardy were the Top 4 finalists in the 2012 Bound For Glory Series and will square off this Sunday at No Surrender in two semi-final matches:

    * James Storm vs. Bully Ray
    * Samoa Joe vs. Jeff Hardy

    The two winners advance to the finals and will wrestle later in the evening at No Surrender to determine the winner.

  • D’Angelo Dinero Officially Removed From 2012 BFG Series

    TNA’s official site has announced that “The Pope” D’Angelo Dinero is officially out of the 2012 Bound For Glory Series.

    Last week at Hardcore Justice, The Aces and 8s viciously attacked Dinero, particularly his shoulder, rendering him unable to compete that night in his scheduled Bound For Glory Series match. Following a visit to the doctor, Dinero said he would be sidelined for a few months. Enclosing an image of a broken collarbone, Dinero tweeted, “Looks like Pope will be out of action for a couple months. Damn You Aces & Apes!!! ~PHS.”

    Dinero’s news has caused Impact Wrestling to officially eliminate him from the remainder of the Bound For Glory Series. In this year’s format, every wrestler was scheduled to face everyone in the tournament. Dinero had three matches left to compete in, against AJ Styles, Rob Van Dam and Robbie E.

    ImpactWrestling.com says Sting will make a decision regarding the matter and those matches tomorrow night on Impact Wrestling on Spike TV at 8/7c.

    – The official website of the Bowie Baysox is advertising Drew Hankinson, who appeared as Festus and Luke Gallows in WWE, for TNA Impact Wrestling’s BaseBrawl event on Saturday, September 1 at Prince George’s Stadium in Bowie, Maryland.

    Hankinson competed in a dark match in June under the name Isaiah Cash and has reportedly appeared as one of the masked attackers of the “Aces and Eights” faction.

    – In a “Bound For Glory Series” match Sunday in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Christopher Daniels defeated “The Pope” D’Angelo Dinero to earn seven points. Dinero also lost a “Bound For Glory Series” match Saturday in Oklahoma City to James Storm. Tournament standings as of August 5 are as follows:

  • Three “Bound For Glory Series” Matches Set For Hardcore Justice

    TNA Wrestling President Dixie Carter announced via Twitter Thursday that three Four-Way “Bound For Glory Series” matches will take place at Hardcore Justice. Each match will feature a different stipulation with the winner receiving 20 points.

    * AJ Styles vs. Christopher Daniels vs. Kurt Angle vs. Samoa Joe

    * Bully Ray vs. James Storm vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Robbie E

    * Rob Van Dam vs. Magnus vs. Mr. Anderson vs. “The Pope” D’Angelo Dinero

    Stipulations for all three matches will be announced during tonight’s live Impact Wrestling broadcast at 8:00 p.m. on Spike TV.

    Also scheduled for Hardcore Justice is Austin Aries defending the TNA World Heavyweight Championship against Bobby Roode in a singles match. The pay-per-view event takes place August 12, 2012 at the Impact Wrestling Zone in Orlando, Florida.

  • Angle Addresses Failed Olympic Bid At Show, BFG Series Update

    – After defeating Magnus to earn seven points in the Bound For Glory Series at TNA Wrestling’s BaseBrawl event in Washington, Pennsylvania on Saturday, Kurt Angle addressed the audience about his failed attempt to make this year’s United States Olympic wrestling team.

    In another Bound For Glory Series match result, Mr. Anderson defeated Magnus today in Akron, Ohio via submission to earn ten additional points, according to TNA Wrestling Dixie Carter’s Twitter account.

    – Rarely used TNA wrestler Mark Haskins recently got engaged to fellow British wrestler Vicky Skeeles. Skeeles was briefly under developmental contract to WWE in 2010.
