Braun Strowman Returns on WWE Raw

Braun Strowman made a triumphant return to WWE on Monday’s edition of WWE Raw.

Strowman didn’t waste any time raising hell. The former Universal Champion interrupted a tag team contender match by attacking Chad Gable and Otis, in addition to several other tag teams and security.

The beast now known as the Monster of All Monsters drove Angelo Dawkins of the Street Profits through the announcers table at ringside.

Twitter user CB caught this ringside footage of Strowman tripping during the ringside melee:

Later in the show, Braun Strowman was briefly interviewed backstage. He announced that he will be on hand for Friday’s edition of SmackDown from Seattle, Washington.

You can watch the full segment here:

Strowman had this to say to the WWE Universe after his return on Raw:

Braun’s History

Strowman first joined WWE in 2013 with no wrestling background and fast-tracked to the main roster as Vince McMahon was high on him. He was paired with The Wyatt Family on the main roster.

After splitting away from the faction that included Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, and Erick Rowan, he was pushed as a singles stars after being drafted to Raw in 2016.

In later years, he engaged in feuds with top stars, such as Roman Reigns. He is also a former Intercontinental and Raw Tag Team Champion, as well as a former Money in the Bank briefcase holder. At WrestleMania 36 in 2020, he also won the Universal Title from Goldberg.

There were rumors that he might sign with Impact Wrestling or AEW, but those rumors fizzled, and his price tag may have been a factor following his departure from WWE. Last year, he was involved in a feud with Bray Wyatt and lost to Bobby Lashley on Monday Night Raw.

Strowman has worked eight matches since leaving WWE, mostly for Control Your Narrative.

Spoiler: Possible Return Angle Revealed for Tonight’s WWE Raw

Tonight’s WWE Raw is from Kansas City and will be a big show as it features the fallout from last Saturday’s Clash at the Castle premium live event, the first PPV event to be held in the UK since 1992.

So far, only one match has been confirmed for the show which is Bobby Lashley defending the United States title against The Miz in a steel cage match. The cage match stipulation is is just the latest sign that WWE is taking its mid-card belts seriously. We’ve seen a renewed emphasis on the IC and United States championships since Triple H took over creative.

Braun Strowman’s Return

Braun Strowman

Former WWE Superstar Braun Strowman is rumored to be returning to WWE. According to Fightful Select, Strowman is slated to be backstage at the show. Furthermore, WWE’s production crew is working on an angle that will involve a car getting flipped over.

During his first run with WWE, Strowman was involved in several stunts that saw cars and trucks getting flipped and demolished.

Also on tap for tonight… the ongoing angle involving Dexter Lumis will continue. The New Day is scheduled for the show and will be part of a program around The Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles, currently held by The Usos.

The Usos couldn’t travel overseas for Clash at the Castle to be ringside with Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns for his title defense against Drew McIntyre in the main event.

Triple H Discusses Sasha Banks, The Rock and Bray Wyatt Possibly Returning to WWE

Triple H spoke with Ariel Helwani for BT Sport on Thursday to promote Saturday’s WWE Clash at the Castle premium live event from Cardiff, Wales.

During their discussion, Helwani asked Triple H about the possibility of four people returning to WWE. Triple H spoke candidly about each performer:

Sasha Banks

“Time will tell,” he said. There was a communication breakdown between Sasha Banks and WWE, for whatever reason. To start that communication back up, it’s not a difficult process, but it’s a process. She is an unbelievably talented young woman. At the end of the day, it comes down to what she wants to do with her life and her career. He called her one of the biggest stars in the business.

Braun Strowman

The Monster Among Men is rumored to be returning to WWE next week. When asked about Strowman’s future, Triple H said, “We’ll see.” He said Strowman is a polarizing person, but you can’t deny his talent. What he brings to the table, in terms of size and personality, does not come along very often.

Bray Wyatt

Triple H said Bray Wyatt is one of the craziest, most creative people he’s ever been around, and he means that in the best way. He said Bray’s mind never stops thinking about creative plans for his character. Without someone to harness him, it gets off track. “He’s a victim of his own mind,” said Triple H. However, he’s loved working with him.

He has no idea where some of Bray Wyatt’s ideas come from. He called him, “Wonderfully crazy.” He said Wyatt has a free-flowing creative mind, as long as you can harness his ideas.

Triple H asked if he could use profanity during the interview, and Helwani said no problem. Triple H said, sometimes you’ll be working with someone that people don’t like. “That guy is an asshole, but he’s my asshole.” He said some people can be difficult to work with, but that’s part of the fun of working with creative, eccentric people.

The Rock

Triple H said The Rock may be the most recognizable person on the planet. He’s the most-in-demand actor in Hollywood and has a slew of other business projects going on. When you’re in that position, you’re very busy.

However, as busy at The Rock is, there’s one thing he can only get in WWE. “I do know this, because i’ve had this conversation with him..” At no time when The Rock is making a movie can he stand in the middle of the ring and feel the energy of 100,000 people. There’s nothing else on the planet that gives you that rush.

The Rock knows the clock is ticking for one last match. He knows The Rock has the burning desire to take advance of this small window of opportunity. The platform is there: WrestleMania. Los Angeles. Roman Reigns. All the pieces are in place, it just comes down to whether or not The Rock can devote the time to making the match happen.

WWE Clash at the Castle takes place Saturday, September 3rd from Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, UK.

Former Universal Champion Returning to WWE Next Week

Braun Strowman is on his way back to WWE.

Triple H has wasted no time reshaping the WWE roster since taking over talent relations this summer. He’s brought back several acts who were previously released due to budget cuts, including Karrion Kross, Dakota Kai, Io Sky, Dexter Lumis and more.

There are still some big names on the free agency market and WWE just snagged the ‘biggest’ one of them all. Strowman is the latest former Superstar to be brought back into the fold and fans won’t have to wait long to see him back on WWE television.

The Monster Among Men is scheduled to be at Monday’s WWE Raw from Kansas City, Missouri. The news was first reported by PWInsider.

Braun Strowman’s Road Back to WWE

A former Universal Champion, Braun Strowman is released from WWE in June 2021. His surprise caught many people off guard. The 6-foot-8, 385 pounder from Sherills Ford, North Carolina seemed to be the prototype WWE Superstar. He’s got the size, the look, he can talk and is no slouch in the ring.

Since becoming a free agent, Strowman appeared for Ring of Honor and the upstart Control Your Narrative promotion. He had preliminary talks with AEW, but nothing ever came of it. He told Sports Illustrated last year,

“Yeah, we’ve sat down and discussed stuff like that with my agent and things like that.  We’re just trying to find a fit now, where everything kind of will work together since now, there’s so many things that I’m working on in my personal life.”

“I don’t have as much time to devote to the full-time schedule to wrestle now. So, it’s trying to find somewhere where I’ll be able to land in there to show up, have fun and entertain the people, but still be able to work on my side projects along the way.”

Regarding those side projects, he had something in the works with Ric Flair before deciding on returning to WWE. Earlier this week, Ric Flair revealed on his podcast that he and Strowman were in the early stages of working on a “marketing scheme” together.

“We’re kind of working on a project together, it hasn’t really come to fruition yet,” said Flair. “It’s a promotional scheme that somebody brought to me that, it’s legitimate, but we just haven’t gone to work on it yet. He’ll probably have to make a decision if he wants to do that. It could potentially be very lucrative, or go back to WWE.”

Ric Flair & Braun Strowman Working on New Project Together

Ric Flair and Adam Scherr, better known as Braun Strowman, are working together on a business project.

The Nature Boy revealed the news on the latest edition of his To Be The Man podcast with AdFreeShows. While he doesn’t disclose the exact details of their collaboration, he does state that the plan is legitimate and could be quite lucrative for them both.

“We’re kind of working on a project together, it hasn’t really come to fruition yet, it’s a promotional scheme that somebody brought to me that, it’s legitimate, but we just haven’t gone to work on it yet.”

Flair adds that the Monster Among Men will have to make a decision soon, although doesn’t rule out that the former Universal champion could return to WWE.

“He’ll probably have to make a decision if he wants to do that. It could potentially be very lucrative, or go back to WWE.”

How He Feels About Strowman Personally

Flair would later discuss his personal feels on Scherr. He states that personally he does like him a lot, but admits that he hasn’t spent too much one on one time with him.

“I like Braun a lot. I haven’t spent any time with him, I’ve seen him once or twice, I think I saw him at WrestleCon, but I haven’t spent any time with him since he left. But I like Braun a lot, personally.”

Scherr and Flair both exited WWE over the last year, with Scherr being surprisingly let go during a round of budget cuts. He has since been a huge part of the Control Your Narrative promotion launched by EC3, as well as a brief one-off appearance for Ring of Honor.

Meanwhile Flair is coming off his “Last Match Ever,” which was considered a financial success on pay-per-view. Despite the claim that he won’t compete anymore the Nature boy has hinted at potentially returning to the ring again.

Update on WWE Discussing Bringing Back Former Superstars

WWE is not done bringing former Superstars back in to the fold.

According to a new report by Fightful Select, ex-WWE Champion Braun Strowman is among the names discussed about bring brought back to the company.

It’s unclear if the Strowman talk ever got beyond the brainstorming phase, but WWE officials believe The Monster Among Men looks “ring ready” as of late.

As we noted last week, there’s also been some interest in bringing back former NXT star Bronson Reed. He’s currently wrestling for New Japan Pro Wrestling and made a great impression with his performance in the G1 Climax tournament.

Braun Strowman in WWE

Strowman was initially signed by WWE in 2013, where he was later a key member of The Wyatt Family. In 2016 he was called up to the WWE main roster, where he began a singles career.

During that time, Strowman captured the WWE Universal Title, an Intercontinental Title reign, and two RAW Tag Team Title wins. He was also the winner of the Greatest Royal Rumble in 2018, and followed that up with an Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal the following year in 2019.

Strowman was released from WWE in June of 2021. It was one of the more shocking cuts that the company made, but it’s believed his then-hefty contract was a factor in the decision.

Braun Strowman Involved In Car Accident

Former WWE Universal champion Adam Scherr better known as Braun Strowman was apparently involved in a car accident on Thursday.

The former WWE star shared a photo of his truck and boat that were damaged in the accident on Twitter. He noted that everyone involved walked away without any serious injuries:

“Always count your blessings.  Trucks and boats can be replaced.  Everyone walked away from this ok.   Thankful the lord was watching over us.” wrote Strowman

The Monster Among Men was part of the WWE roster from 2013 to 2021. He started out as a member of the Wyatt Family and later became a successful singles star.

Braun Strowman won the Universal championship among other titles during his time with the company. He was surprisingly released during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Since leaving the company, the former Wyatt Family member has joined the Control Your Narrative promotion founded by EC3.

He has wrestled only a handful of matches since his departure from WWE. Though several CYN events are scheduled for later this month in the North Carolina area.

It’s a surprise that no other major promotion has signed the former world champion yet. Impact wrestling is the last known promotional to have talked to Braun but they couldn’t reach an agreement.

Briana Brandy (B Fab) Talks Hosting WWE RAW Underground with Shane McMahon

Former NXT and WWE Superstar Briana Brandy (B-Fab) recently spoke with SEScoops correspondent Steve Fall for NBC Sports Boston about Shane McMahon randomly asking her to co host WWE’s experiment Raw Underground with him.

Eeih 3qU4AA24gb

“That moment actually just happened! When I was there I mean they had … you could see on Raw Underground they had people surrounding the ring and like the crowd was right there in the match.”

“Shane McMahon’s like you have a great look… I might need… I might want someone to co-host the show (Raw Underground) with me.

Shane McMahon asked Briana, “Would you be interested …. like are you comfortable and I was like coming from music in my background like that I was like I’m very comfortable on the mic like I’m more comfortable there than I am in the ring right now because I just learned this….. you know …. so he’s like just just be prepared I’ll let you know maybe in the coming weeks if I need a co-host.

I’m shook…. I’m like oh my gosh I can’t believe you just asked me this like I could be co-hosting Raw Underground this is insane you know what I’m saying? So I’m thinking that it’s coming in the future I’m prepared you know in that moment always, but just in a few weeks he’ll maybe ask me to do this and I might be doing Raw Underground. He goes to a meeting he comes back that same day and he’s like hey you ready and I was like ready for what? He’s like I’m thinking I’m gonna use you today like I want you to close with me today and I was like oh okay all right let’s go. He said okay I’m going to have you end up interviewing Braun Strowman so I need you to come with some questions to ask him and I’m like all right like let’s do this you know I got this so yeah it just happened….. drop of a dime … the opportunity came about and he just asked me on the spot and I had to be ready and that’s how I got the job doing that.”

Josh Alexander, Nia Jax, Chelsea Green, Adam Scherr & More Respond To WES Canceling Event

Many wrestlers speak out against the way the World Entertainment Series has handled business after the announcement of the cancellation of their debut event.

WES’ Debut Event Cancelled

On June 6, it was announced that World Entertainment Series was canceling its first event, which was scheduled for July 9. The wrestlers booked for this show have now spoken out about their experience working with the company.

The July 9 WES event had already been postponed from its original June 4 date. Prior to the event, performers such as CJ Perry (Lana), Lina Fanene (Nia Jax), and Matt Rehwoldt had pulled out of the event.

In their official statement regarding the cancellation of the event, Wrestling Entertainment Series claimed that they had no choice but to cancel the event due to several wrestlers “not showing up.” They addressed Fanene’s comments directly by saying that she was paid her deposit, changed her mind, and decided not to show up and wrestle.

Wrestlers Booked Respond

Performers who were originally booked for the event took to social media to respond to the statement.

Even though he won’t be wrestling, due to the cancellation of the event, Mojo Rawley will be doing a free meet and greet with fans who bought tickets to WES this Sunday. For more information on this and to see Mojo’s response, click here.

Kevin Owens & Former WWE Rival Hug It Out During Fan Signing

Who says enemies can’t hash things out?

Kevin Owens attended MegaCon in Orlando this past weekend. He was in attendance for a fan signing. Also appearing during the festivities was a former WWE Universal Champion.

That person was none other than Adam Scherr, formerly known as Braun Strowman in WWE.

Here’s an image of Kevin Owens and Scherr sharing a fun moment when they ran into each other. The pic is courtesy of Reddit user CenturionElite.

Back in 2018, Owens and Scherr had a feud on WWE TV. At one point, Scherr tipped over a portable toilet with KO still in it. The aftermath wasn’t pretty.

Scherr was released by WWE back in June 2021. Budget cuts were used as a reason for his walking papers.

Owens has remained on the WWE roster and even headlined night one of WrestleMania 38 against Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Former WWE Stars & Controversial MMA Fighter Set For WES On June 4

Former WWE talent Adam Scherr (Braun Strowman) and former UFC fighter Alistair Overeem will collide at Wrestling Entertainment Series.

On May. 13, former WWE tag team Legion of Pain (Authors of Pain) announced that their wrestling promotion WES would have an event on June 4 on FITE TV at the Motorpoint Arena in Nottingham, England.

Legion of Pain shared that they would be making their in-ring return for their first event. However, they didn’t share who else would be on the card.

The WES website has now revealed all of the matches that will take place on the card, including the main event between Scherr and Overeem for the World Championship.

This marks the first wrestling match for Overeem, who has been open about not liking what he’s seen from professional wrestling like WWE.

Another match on the card is former WWE talents Lina Fanene (Nia Jax) vs. CJ Perry (Lana) for the Women’s Championship.

Overeem on WWE and Professional Wrestling Today

Overeem spoke publicly on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani about his thoughts on wrestling, mainly WWE, last year. He shared that he grew up watching WWE and liked Hulk Hogan and The Ultimate Warrior but stopped watching as he got older.

“I watched it when I was 19 years old. Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, huge fans of those guys. Honky Tonk Man, great, funny,” said Overeem. He continued, “…I stopped watching after that, so I’m not watching since 92, 93, 94 and just recently I started looking again on Youtube, and oh my god this stuff is lame.

“It’s just lame with all these guys are doing, it’s fake, it’s lame, it’s stupid.” Overeem said something after “it’s stupid,” but it was edited out.

During the live interview, Overeem did indeed label pro wrestling as “gay.” Helwani told Overeem to not say that, which the former UFC fighter said why and continued to share that he thought what he has seen recently of wrestling from WWE content is lame.

When asked by Helwani if he thinks professional wrestlers are athletes, he expressed again that it is lame. It’s unclear if Overeem has watched any wrestling outside of WWE or if he changed his stance on wrestling today.

The Wrestling Entertainment Series Card (6/4)

The first WES card will have eight matches. Two of the matches will be on the pre-show.

  • Adam Scherr vs. Alistair Overeem for the World Championship-Main Event
  • Lina Fanene vs. C.J Perry for the Women’s Championship-Co-Main Event
  • Legion of Pain vs. Wesley Blake and Steve Maclin for the World Tag Team Championship

  • Madison Rayne and Tenille Dashwood vs. Deonna Purrazzo and Chelsea Green for the World Women’s Tag Team Championship
  • Dean Muhtadi vs. Lince Dorado
  • Mike Bennett vs. Biff Busick-Pre-Show
  • Dirty Dango vs. Levis Valenzuela Jr.-Pre-Show

The card isn’t available on FITE TV as of this writing for pre-order. We will update when it gets updated.

Braun Strowman & EC3 Announce New Promotion, Say TV Deal Is Imminent

EC3 has run 2 events on PPV under the name “Free The Narrative” but is now launching a new promotion along with Braun Strowman. Two live events have been booked for March including a show that is scheduled to be a TV special. The promotion says an announcement regarding a television deal is imminent.

The new promotion will be named CYN, standing for “Control Your Narrative”. Their first show will be on March 5th from Orlando. They will then tape a television special from Dallas on Thursday, March 31st before WrestleMania weekend.

In addition to EC3 and Braun Strowman, Killer Kross is signed on to the promotion as well. He will debut on the March 31st show. Matt Cardona, Moose, Matt Sydal, Marina Shafir, Matt Taven, and more have also signed on.

Ticket information is available here.

“Control Your Narrative (CYN) has found it’s “purpose” and is proud to announce “Awakening: Live”, a series of live events featuring combative PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING action and the real stories of those who choose to fight.

Headlined by “The Titan” Adam Scherr, ec3, the newly recruited Killer Kross, and other top names in the field of “sports and entertainment,” reads a description of the promotion.

Watch: ‘The Titan’ Adam Scherr Appears at ROH Final Battle

‘The Titan’ Adam Scherr made a surprise appearance at the ROH Final Battle event and he apparently joined a new faction led by EC3.

One of the matches on the show saw Brody King, Homicide, Rocky Romero and Tony Deppen defeating Eli Isom, Taylor Rust, Tracy Williams & EC3.

After the bout was over, EC3 picked up the mic and cut a promo on ROH management. He claimed that there is no honor in this.

EC3 discussed how he has previously suffered the humiliation of being fired. At one point, Brian Johnson came out and got in the former WWE star’s face.

3 claimed that he wants the people in the ring to join him for freedom. He then told Johnson to ‘free the titan.’

https://twitter.com/ringofhonor/status/1469867452569952259

The former Braun Strowman made his way to the ring to the shock of the fans. The star real name Adam Scherr cleared the ring of the other competitors of the match.

EC3 announced that this wasn’t an invasion and it’s an awakening. Strowman then chokeslamed Eli Isom to the mat as ROH fans chanted.

The segment ended with Adam Scherr, EC3 and two other stars standing tall in the ring. EC3 told the people that they had been warned.

Braun Strowman Comments On Match With MLW Champion

Braun Strowman is teasing going back to work after almost 6 months and that too at a very interesting destination.

The former world champion recently posted a photo of his physical transformation on Instagram. The post attracted reactions from a number of wrestling personalities.

The names who reacted to Strowman’s posts included the current MLW world champion Alex Hammerstone. The MLW champion responded to a fan comment and Braun showed interest in a match with him as well:

The monster among men was released from his WWE contract back in June this year. He has made only one wrestling appearance since then despite already becoming a free agent.

Braun Strowman, who is now going by his real name Adam Scherr appeared on EC3’s Free The Narrative II. The two faced off in a cinematic match that was won by Scherr.

MLW CEO Court Bauer has previously confirmed that they had talks with Strowman about potentially signing with the promotion but they couldn’t reach a deal.

After rumors of his Impact Wrestling debut ended up being false, MLW seems to be a suitable destination for Strowman. We will have to wait and see if it ends up being his new home.

Update On Braun Strowman & Bray Wyatt’s Negotiations With Impact Wrestling

Many fans who tuned in last night to Bound for Glory may have been expecting Braun Strowman to show up. Last week, PW Insider reported that Strowman was all but locked down to debut with the promotion. As it turns out, however, no deal has been signed and it is not clear if one will be.

According to a report from Fightful Select, the two sides have talked but no deal has been made. It is not clear if Strowman will end up there or not.

https://twitter.com/jimmyyadig/status/1452140947781861379

In terms of Bray Wyatt possibly debuting for Impact Wrestling, he was reportedly contacted by the promotion but a deal between the two sides has never been close. It does not sound like there are currently plans for Wyatt to end up in Impact, although things could change.

Bronson Reed was also reportedly booked to be part of the upcoming Impact Wrestling tapings. He was later unbooked, however. No reason for the change has been reported.

Impact is bringing in Minoru Suzuki for this week’s tapings in Las Vegas, however.

Update On Braun Strowman Possibly Joining Impact Wrestling

It looks like former WWE Superstar Braun Strowman (Adam Scherr) is indeed bound for Impact Wrestling.

Last week, Scherr was spotted with Impact EVP Scott D’Amore a hotel bar in Detroit, Michigan. The two had a lengthy discussion, presumably about him appearing for Impact. Details about how the meeting went were scarce, until Friday.

PWInsider has provided a significant update to this story. Scherr was seen taking a flight from Chicago to Las Vegas, site of Saturday night’s Bound for Glory pay-per-view.

The PWInsider report notes that Scherr is all but confirmed to be joining Impact Wrestling. He won’t be able to use the name Braun Strowman, which is owned by WWE. Instead, Scherr will be using the nickname, The Titan.

In addition to Bound For Glory, Impact will be holding TV tapings from Vegas as well. In the event that The Titan does not appear at the pay-per-view, we could see him on a future episode of Impact on AXS TV.

Strowman was released by WWE back in June. His release was part of a slew of talent cuts for budget reasons that also included current AEW star Malakai Black.

Stick with SEScoops this weekend to find out if Adam Scherr / Braun Strowman debuts at Bound for Glory.

Braun Strowman Confirms Talks With AEW

Adam Scherr (Braun Strowman) says he’s had talks with All Elite Wrestling, but isn’t sure he wants to commit to pro wrestling full-time.

Wrestling fans were shocked when WWE announced Braun Strowman’s release back in June. The Monster Amongst Men was fresh of a victory over Shane McMahon at WrestleMania and is a former world champion.

A lot has been made over what Strowman will do next. During an interview with Sports Illustrated, the man formerly known as “The Monster Among Men” confirmed that he has spoken to AEW officials.

“Yeah, we’ve sat down and discussed stuff like that with my agent and things like that.  We’re just trying to find a fit now, where everything kind of will work together since now, there’s so many things that I’m working on in my personal life. I don’t have as much time to devote to the full-time schedule to wrestle now.

“So, it’s trying to find somewhere where I’ll be able to land in there to show up, have fun and entertain the people, but still be able to work on my side projects along the way.”

Braun Strowman was recently spotted meeting with Impact Wrestling EVP Scott D’Amore. The two were said to have been talking for quite a while, just days ahead of the upcoming Bound for Glory pay-per-view.

Strowman and Bray Wyatt are perhaps two of the biggest free agents in terms of name recognition at the moment. Many believe that Impact Wrestling is the favorite to pick up both men but time will tell if that’s the case.

Braun Strowman Meets With Impact EVP Ahead Of Bound For Glory

More and more signs are pointing towards Braun Strowman (Adam Scherr) being on his way to join the Impact Wrestling roster, sooner rather than later.

According to a new report from PWInsider, the monster among men was recently spotted meeting with Imapact EVP Scott D’Amore. The two met at a hotel bar for the Motor City Comic Con in Detroit, Michigan on Saturday.

D’Amore arrived earlier and he waited for Strowman to show up.These two seem to have had an in-depth conversation as according to the site they were sitting ‘for a long time.’ Though detail of their exchange is not available.

Impact Wrestling is said to be working on several surprises for their Bound For Glory event this Saturday. Whether Braun Strowman turns out to be one of them remains to be seen.

MLW CEO Court Bauer had revealed recently that they too had a discussion with the former universal champion. Though they couldn’t work out a deal.

Bound For Glory is Impact Wrestling’s biggest show of the year. It will see the debut of former WWE stars The IInspiration among others.

Check out the complete Bound for Glory Match Card.

Details On MLW Trying To Sign Braun Strowman And Bo Dallas

MLW tried to sign both Bo Dallas and Braun Strowman after their release from WWE earlier this year. Though they couldn’t reach a deal with either of them.

The company CEO Court Bauer hosted a media call to promote their upcoming Fightland special. It’s scheduled to air on Vice TV this Thursday.

During the talk, Bauer was asked if they have had any discussions with recently released stars such as Bray Wyatt. Replying to it, he revealed that they actually had a conversation with Bray’s real life brother, Bo Dallas:

“So, we had conversations with Bray’s brother, and I think he seems more interested in farming, I understand having to re-charge, you gotta re-charge for another run, but right now it seems like he’s more interested in doing some farming.”

In regards of the former Universal champion, the MLW founder revealed that they did talk to the monster among men about a potential deal. Though they couldn’t come to terms with the former Wyatt family member either:

“And we did talk with Braun Strowman for a little bit, and didn’t come to terms on a deal. I can’t say where they’re gonna be headed or not, I don’t really know.”

Bo Dallas had already been preparing for his life after wrestling even before his release from WWE. So it’s no surprise that he is more interested in working on the farm he owns with Liv Morgan at the moment.

Braun Strowman on the other hand has had discussions with multiple promotions. Latest reports on his future indicate that Impact Wrestling is the most likely future destination for the former WWE star.

Braun Strowman Reveals How He Got His Big Break In WWE

Braun Strowman has mostly been quiet and away from the media since his WWE release. He opened up about his run with the company for the first time since his contract was terminated recently.

The former Universal champion appeared on Virtual Gimmick Table show from Highspots Wrestling Network. The Monster Among Men described the chaotic lifestyle of being a WWE Superstar.

“It’s kind of cool to have the opportunity just to do stuff,” said Strowman, “I was very fortunate in my time with WWE but it was very, very time-consuming. I didn’t have a lot of time to do other things. So now, during my downtime, when I’m trying to figure out what I wanna do when I grow up, I get an opportunity to go out and, you know, explore different avenues. Try different things. I’m enjoying it.”

Strowman is making the most of his time as a free agent, but he does get the itch to lace up his boots once again.

“I definitely miss being in the squared circle though,” he said. “I promise you that.”

Braun Strowman made appearances as a ‘rosebud’ before becoming famous

Braun Strowman also opened up about the time he worked as one of Adam Rose’s “Rosebuds” and how it led to him getting a bigger break in the company.

“I was a Rosebud,” he said. “That’s what got me seen, Vince himself saw me doing the Rosebud gimmick, he goes, ‘Why is this guy doing this?'”

He’d go on to debut with the Wyatt Family in August of 2015. During his 6-year run the main roster, he’d become Universal Champion and achieve countless other accolades.

WWE released Strowman back on June 2nd. He has already become a free agent. While the former Wyatt Family member has not provided a lot of updates on his future, reports suggest Impact Wrestling as the most likely landing spot for the heavyweight star.

Free Agency Updates On Bray Wyatt & Braun Strowman

Former Universal Champion Braun Strowman was released from WWE on June 2nd, 2021. He’s now free to sign with other promotions. Former Universal and WWE Champion Bray Wyatt was released from WWE on July 31st, 2021. Assuming he is under a 90-day no-compete clause, he’ll be free to sign with another promotion at the end of October.

Both Braun Strowman and Bray Wyatt’s free agency status was addressed recently in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. It appears both Wyatt and Strowman could end up in Impact Wrestling but Wyatt could also end up signing with AEW.

“Regarding newcomers (to Impact), Adam Scherr, the former Braun Strowman, is in talks but has not signed but they are in talks with him,” wrote Dave Meltzer about Strowman’s negotiations with Impact. Strowman has also been announced for EC3’s “Free the Narrative 2” PPV on October 1st.

Bray Wyatt’s Future

As for Wyatt, it is thought he’ll either end up in Impact or AEW.

“As far as Windham Rotunda, the former Bray Wyatt, it appears it’ll be (Impact) or AEW,” Meltzer continued.

“If it is AEW, the talk is that it would be on the 9/29 Dynamite in Rochester, NY, which is Brodie Lee’s home city. If not there or soon after, it would likely be here.”

Braun Strowman Teases Next Move With Cryptic Tweet

Ever since his release from WWE on June 2nd Braun Strowman has kept the world waiting. The question so many people have been asking is ‘where will he go next?’

Earlier this week it looked as if the cat had been let out of the bag somewhat when IMPACT EVP Scott D’Amore claimed they were preparing for ‘Braun for Glory’. This is a not-so-subtle play on words for the IMPACT PPV Bound for Glory, scheduled for October 21st. While this got everybody talking, it was a tweet yesterday from the man himself that really got people wondering.

Braun Strowman, who is back to using his real name (Adam Scherr) on social media tweeted a quote that appeared to confirm D’Amore’s words.

Remember in life if you’re gonna do something make sure you make a impact. Carve your name in stone!!! #Titan.

Many believe that Braun Strowman’s tweet confirms IMPACT as his next destination and while nothing has been officially confirmed as of yet, it certainly looks as if there is some validity to the rumours.

All Signs Point Towards Braun Strowman Being Back in a Ring Soon

As already reported, all signs seem to point towards Braun Strowman signing with IMPACT wrestling. The news was further discussed by the Wrestling Observer. With Strowman’s no-compete clause up as of August 31st, it would seem as if the only real worry the wrestling world has is if IMPACT is really going to make us wait until Bound for Glory for the monster to make an appearance.

Braun Strowman has kept himself in great shape during his time away from the ring. He regularly tweets images or videos from his workouts.

His repeated use of the hashtag ‘Titan’ has people wondering if this is a hint at his new ring name. While this feels a little too gimmicky for a man like Strowman, stranger things have happened.

Wherever Strowman decides to go, and whatever his name will be, he will clearly be ready for action and won’t settle for anything less than gold.

Braun Strowman Likely Heading To Impact Wrestling (Report)

Former WWE superstars Braun Strowman and Buddy Murphy are both likely heading to Impact Wrestling after their release from the company earlier this year, suggests Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Dave Meltzer talked about the future of some recently released stars in the latest edition of the Newsletter. He noted that both the former WWE talents are likely headed to the Impact Zone:

“It appears that the former Braun Strowman and Buddy Murphy will be here, with Murphy as Buddy Matthews (his real name is Matthew Adams) and not sure what name Strowman will use. Scott D’Amore did a Twitch show from a baseball game and mentioned the term Braun for Glory.”

Meltzer also reiterated his comments about the company officials being interested in bringing in Bray Wyatt as well. Though he noted that it’s one situation that can go in many different directions.

Braun Strowman has not provided a lot of hints about his future since his WWE release. Buddy Murphy on the other hand has been very active on social media. He has been posting vignettes teasing his next move.

Since both the stars were released on June 2, they are expected to become free agents once their non-compete clause expires at the end of this month. It would be interesting to see when they make their first appearance for Impact.

Strowman’s First Post-WWE Booking Revealed

Strowman’s first booking since being released by WWE has also been announced. According to a report on Lucha Libre Online, Strowman will be taking part in an event in Qatar on February 26th. The QPW Super Slam 3 event has numerous top names in the industry booked already. Also set to appear include Bret Hart, Sting, Eric Bischoff, Booker T, Jon Moxley, and the reunion of former Nation of Domination members Mark Henry, Ron Simmons, and the Godfather.

There have also been reports that WWE is interested in bringing back Strowman. In last week’s edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer wrote that WWE had interest in bringing him back following the rumors of CM Punk and Daniel Bryan heading to AEW.

Strowman had an 8-year run with WWE after signing in 2013. He is a 1x Universal Champion, 1x Intercontinental Champion, 2x tag team champion (1x with Seth Rollins, 1x with Nicholas). Strowman won the Money in the Bank in 2018, The Greatest Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia that same year, and the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal in 2019.

WWE Interested In Bringing Back Braun Strowman

The decision to let Braun Strowman go was a surprising move from WWE. Now latest reports suggest that the officials are interested in bringing him back.

Dave Meltzer talked about the Monster Among Men on the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter. He wrote “there is interest in bringing Strowman back especially after recent AEW signings”

AEW has recently signed a number of stars released by WWE during the budget cuts in the past year. People like Andrade and Malakai Black have already made their debut for the promotion.

Not only that but there are also reports about big names such as CM Punk and Daniel Bryan heading to the company in near future.

Braun Strowman was released from WWE on June 2. At the time it was said that Strowman’s massive contract that earned him over $1 million per year was one big reason behind his release.

The belief among fans has always been that the company will bring him back after a renegotiation of his salary. Now the competition from AEW seems to be an added incentive for WWE officials to get him back before his non-compete clause expires on August 31.

Though people like Mark Henry have shown interest in signing Braun Strowman to AEW. So it’s possible that the two companies will find themselves competing over the former Universal champion in near future.
