Tyson Fury Brawls With Braun Strowman On WWE RAW

Tyson Fury made another appearance on WWE television by making his Monday Night RAW debut.

The heavyweight pro boxer did so on Monday’s show in Bakersfield, CA at the Rabobank Arena on the USA Network. This is where he furthered his program with Braun Strowman.

The two stars exchanged words until Fury said that he’s the heavyweight champion of the world and asks how many titles Strowman has won. This led to a brawl until security and several WWE stars came out to separate them.

The feud all started last week on the Friday Night SmackDown premiere episode on FOX where he had a staredown with Strowman before jumping the barricade after the contest.

The match for Crown Jewel was expected to be announced as it was reported over the weekend by Dave Meltzer of F4Wonline.com that the match was being planned. This will mark the first time that Fury will work a pro-wrestling match.

WWE presents the Crown Jewel pay-per-view event on Thursday, October 31, 2019 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia at the King Fahd International Stadium that will air on the WWE Network.

Tyson Fury vs. Braun Strowman Slated For WWE Crown Jewel

WWE does indeed have a date in mind for the expected Tyson Fury vs. Braun Strowman match.

Dave Meltzer noted on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio that the likely date for a match between the WWE star and professional heavyweight boxer will be at WWE Crown Jewel.

Meltzer did note this isn’t as “official” but it’s the “prevailing talk.”

Fury was seen at ringside at Friday’s SmackDown premiere episode on FOX where he had a staredown with Strowman before jumping the barricade after the contest.

The angle happened when Strowman, The Miz & Heavy Machinery (Otis & Tucker) defeated AJ Styles, Randy Orton, Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode in a six-man tag team match. WWE has since offered Fury an open microphone on Monday’s RAW.

WWE Offers Tyson Fury Open Mic On RAW

Last night on WWE Smackdown, boxer Tyson Fury jumped the guardrail and looked to get his hands on Braun Strowman. The two had faced off with Fury sitting ringside moments earlier. In light of Fury’s actions inside the Staples center on Friday night, WWE has offered him an open microphone this Monday on Raw.

Tyson Fury on Smackdown

31-year-old boxing great Tyson Fury holds a 29-0-1 record. He won the WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, IBO, The Ring, and lineal heavyweight titles in 2015 when he defeated Wladimir Klitschko in his 25th straight victory.

Fury fought inside Staples Center (venue for last night’s Smackdown) this December. It was the only professional fight he’s had where he didn’t win. Deontay Wilder and Fury fought to a controversial draw that night.

“After hopping the guardrail this past Friday Night on SmackDown in an attempt to confront Braun Strowman, the always controversial Fury will now be offered an open forum this Monday night on Raw to speak his mind following the explosive incident that saw a small army of security struggle to keep him from getting into the ring to mix it up with The Monster Among Men,” a WWE press release regarding the invitation to Fury reads.

Details On Money Braun Strowman Is Getting With New WWE Deal

WWE is paying Braun Strowman big money now that they’ve locked him down to a new deal.

Strowman revealed he had signed a new WWE contract back in July after reports surfaced that he inked a contract with the company.

Dave Meltzer reported in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the new four-year deal is believed to be for $1.2 million per year. Although there are exceptions, it was noted that $1 million is usually the top downside figure the company offers.

WWE United States Champion AJ Styles recently signed for significantly more because of AEW and fear that he could leave the company in order to sign with the rival promotion.

Braun Strowman Reveals His WWE Contract Almost Expired Before Signing Extension

Other WWE talents who have signed new deals have guarantees above the $1 million thresholds.

Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson recently signed five-year deals worth $700,000 per year each after they had previously turned down a $500,000 per year deal. It was reported at the time that they were prepared to leave the company when their contracts expired.

The new deal will see Strowman remain with WWE until at least mid-2023 and is expected to maintain his role in the company as a top star.

Bray Wyatt Asks For Forgiveness From Braun Strowman After RAW

Braun Strowman was attacked by Bray Wyatt’s Fiend in the closing segment of WWE Raw last night. Strowman had formerly been a member of the Wyatt family stable.

Wyatt posted the following message to Twitter earlier this morning:

Not long after, Strowman posted the following:

Braun Strowman and Bray Wyatt

Wyatt was the person who introduced the WWE Universe to Braun Strowman. He did so in the summer of 2015. Below is Wyatt’s promo to Roman Reigns where Strowman was first introduced:

While Bray Wyatt has a Universal Championship match with Seth Rollins inside Hell in a Cell coming up on October 6th, Braun Strowman does not yet have a match for the pay-per-view. Strowman dropped a Universal Championship match at Clash of Champions to Rollins.

It was announced before Clash of Champions that the Fiend would face the winner between Strowman and Rollins. Strowman posted the following when news of the Fiend’s title match at Hell in a Cell first broke:

Strowman and Wyatt have never faced each other in single’s competition. In fact, the only times they’ve been on opposing sides in a match was at the 2016 Survivor Series in the RAW vs Smackdown men’s elimination match. They’ve also been in 2 Royal Rumble matches together as well.

Bray Wyatt vs. Seth Rollins Confirmed For WWE Hell In A Cell

As expected, Bray Wyatt vs. Seth Rollins for the Universal Title has been confirmed for the upcoming WWE Hell In A Cell pay-per-view event. This will be a Hell in a Cell Match.

WWE did so on Monday’s episode of RAW in Knoxville, Tennessee at the Thompson-Boling Arena when Rollins did a promo in the ring that was followed up by Wyatt doing a quick promo in the firefly funhouse.

This feud was set up when Wyatt issued a challenge to Rollins or Braun Strowman for a Hell in a Cell match at this upcoming show last month on social media.

Thus, when Rollins retained the Universal Title over Strowman in the headliner of the Clash of Champions show, Wyatt attacked Rollins after the match.

Seth Rollins Retains WWE Universal Title, Attacked By Bray Wyatt

WWE presents the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view event on Sunday, October 6, 2019 in Sacramento, California at the Golden 1 Center that will air on the WWE Network.

WWE will be announcing more matches for this show in the coming weeks. Rollins vs. Wyatt for the Universal Title is expected to serve as the main event.

The Revival Makes WWE History, Interesting Braun Strowman Stat

The Revival Makes WWE History

The Revival are now in the WWE history books as they earned the accomplishment with their latest title win.

Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson beat Big E and Xavier Woods to win the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Titles on the main card of the Clash of Champions pay-per-view event.

As a result, The Revival are the first tag team to brag that they have held the WWE NXT Tag Team Titles, the RAW Tag Team Titles, and the SmackDown Tag Team Titles.

The Revival Win SmackDown Tag Team Titles At WWE Clash Of Champions

As of this writing, there’s no word yet on when The New Day (Xavier Woods & Big E) will get their rematch for the titles but it could come as early as Tuesday’s episode of SmackDown Live.

Interesting Braun Strowman Stat

An interesting stat has surfaced involved Braun Strowman after he lost to WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins in the main event of the WWE Clash of Champions.

The stat comes from the WrestleVotes Twitter account as it was noted that this loss for Strowman marked the sixth time over a span of two years that he failed to win the WWE Universal Title on PPV presented by the company.

Those matches came at SummerSlam 17, No Mercy 17, Rumble 18, HIAC 18, Crown Jewel & Clash 19.”

With Rollins moving on to a feud with Bray Wyatt at the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view event next month, it will be interesting to see who Strowman feuds with next.

Seth Rollins Retains WWE Universal Title, Attacked By Bray Wyatt

Seth Rollins has held onto the WWE Universal Title in his latest title defense.

He did so when he beat Braun Strowman in the headliner of the WWE Clash of Champions pay-per-view event in Charlotte, North Carolina. Post-match, Bray Wyatt appeared and hits Sister Abigail to Rollins to close the show.

This contest came after the two stars had worked a previous match in the night. Strowman and Rollins dropped the WWE RAW Tag Team Titles to Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler.

The company took its time with booking this match after a few weeks of teasing between the two babyfaces.

WWE Clash Of Champions Results (9/15)

Rollins won the Universal Title when he dethroned then-champion Brock Lesnar in the headliner of the SummerSlam pay-per-view event in Toronto, Ontario at the Scotiabank Arena.

WWE is going in a different direction heading into the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view event on Sunday, October 6, 2019 in Sacramento, California at the Golden 1 Center.

Last month, Bray Wyatt issued a challenge to Rollins or Strowman for a Hell in a Cell match at this upcoming show. WWE sent out commercials to various markets to promote upcoming live events that advertised Rollins vs. Wyatt, so it appears that is the next program.

What are your thoughts on Seth Rollins retaining the Universal Title? Was this the right call by WWE officials? Sound off in the comment section.

Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode Win WWE RAW Tag Team Titles At Clash Of Champions

With their new push as a tag team, Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode are on top of the division.

Ziggler and Roode dethroned Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman as the WWE RAW Tag Team Champions. The match took place at the WWE Clash of Champions pay-per-view event in Charlotte, North Carolina at the Spectrum Center.

This match was set up on the August 26th episode of RAW when WWE held “the biggest Tag Team Turmoil match in WWE history.”

WWE Clash Of Champions Results (9/15)

Heavy Machinery, The Revival, Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, Lucha House Party, Dolph Ziggler and Bobby Roode, War Raiders, Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins competed in the match.

Ziggler and Roode won the contest. As a result, they earned the right to challenge Rollins and Strowman for the WWE RAW Tag Team Titles at the latest PPV event under the WWE banner.

The only reason that Rollins and Strowman had the titles was to further build their program for the Universal Title.

This marked the first match of the night for the top two stars on the RAW brand as they worked the headliner of this show as well.

Braun Strowman Discusses How He Got Into Professional Wrestling

Braun Strowman has shared how he got into pro wrestling in an interview with Not Sam Wrestling podcast.

Strowman recounted his interest in wrestling as a boy but admitted he had no idea about how to become a pro wrestler due to the small town he grew up in. He explained that he “wanted to, but I just didn’t know what to do.”

It wouldn’t be until he was working a nightclub in downtown Charlotte that his journey to pro wrestling would begin—though it wouldn’t be a direct path.

He met a few people that had competed in a Strongman competition, who noticed he was a “larger human being than normal.” They offered him an invitation to give Strongman training a try, which he accepted. This invitation and subsequent involvement in competitions would eventually catch the eyes of WWE talent scouts.

“I think I started in a little less than two years I earned my pro card in Strongman and I was in Los Angeles, California in 2012 for The World’s Strongest Man and Mark Henry was there along with [WWE Talent Relations] Canyon Ceman were there recruiting,” Strowman said. “I met them and exchanged information with Canyon, that was in September of 2012. They wanted me to come down to the FCW building since The Performance Center wasn’t around back then. They wanted me to come down to the FCW down in Tampa, Florida. I walked around and cut a promo, and they offered me a deal.”

Strowman recalled injuring himself during his final Strongman competition trying to break the world record on an Atlas Stone. He would get this injury fixed during March 2013 before moving to Orlando, Florida in July of that year to begin his time at the WWE Performance Center.

Braun Strowman Discusses Bray Wyatt And The Fiend

Braun Strowman had some high praise for his former Wyatt Family leader, Bray Wyatt, and his new character The Fiend.

Speaking on Sam Roberts’ podcast, Notsam Wrestling, Strowman spoke about his friendship with Wyatt, calling him “one of my closest friends inside and outside of the business.” He divulged that Bray got into a “weird place” as he struggled with his WWE direction before eventually landing on the Firefly Funhouse and Fiend gimmick.

“[…] he literally went into the drawing board and started from scratch. We went for a while without even talking because he went so deep into this character; he shut himself out from the world. I remember watching the very first episode of the Firefly Funhouse and was thinking, ‘What the hell is this? Bray, what are you doing?’ But the more I watched, I couldn’t turn away from it. It was so intriguing what he was doing, and then they brought ‘The Fiend’ out and I was like, ‘Alright, it’s unbelievable.'”

He continued, “Bray’s mind – he is so talented in this industry, phenomenal in the ring, probably the best damn guy on the microphone going, let’s be for real,” Braun said. “There’s a lot of guys that can talk, but when you give Bray Wyatt free reign on the microphone, it’s hard to keep up with him. Just his mind for this business and for entertainment [is impressive]. He thought all about this character on his own, and it’s just like, it blows my mind. But at the same time, it’s just so good to have him back.”

“He’s My Brother”

Strowman called Wyatt a locker room leader who helps lift morale as “one of the top guys in the company.” He reflected on how Wyatt mentored him when he first debuted with the Wyatt Family, recalling how he would drive him around and the two would talk non-stop about the business.

“He taught me the business,” Strowman said. “When I came in, that was it. I drove Bray around and he talked and taught me the business. He taught me how to book hotels, he taught me where to eat, how to do everything on the road, because I had no idea. I will forever be indebted to that man. He’s my brother.”

Braun Strowman will perform double duty at WWE’s September event Clash of Champions. He will not only defend the RAW Tag Team Championships with partner Seth Rollins, but he will also face Rollins in a match for the Universal Championship. Reports indicate that The Fiend may be next for whoever emerges victorious.

Braun Strowman & Seth Rollins Pulling Double Duty At WWE Clash Of Champions

Braun Strowman and Seth Rollins have two matches booked for the upcoming WWE Clash of Champions PPV.

The original belief was that WWE would have these two stars battle it out for the Universal Title that Rollins has, which is technically the case. However, WWE is booking them in a tag team match as well.

During Monday’s episode of RAW, WWE held “the biggest Tag Team Turmoil match in WWE history.”

As a result, they have earned the right to challenge Rollins and Strowman for the WWE RAW Tag Team Titles at the latest PPV event under the WWE banner.

Later in the show, WWE confirmed that Rollins and Strowman would wrestle for the Universal Title as well.

WWE presents the Clash of Champions pay-per-view event on Sunday, September 15, 2019 in Charlotte, North Carolina at the Spectrum Center.

Braun Strowman Reveals His WWE Contract Almost Expired Before Signing Extension

Braun Strowman told an interesting story while talking with Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful where he discussed his latest contract with WWE.

It turns out that his WWE contract actually almost ran out before both sides re-upped.

“It was just winding down, I had a little over a month left on my contract and we just came to an agreement. I felt like both sides of the party were happy and we look forward to four more years of people getting these hands,” said Strowman.

Braun Strowman Opens Up About Creative Frustrations, Vince McMahon’s Reaction

Strowman is the latest current star to re-sign with the company as he recently announced that he had extended his WWE deal. The new deal will see him remaining with WWE until at least mid-2023.

Strowman joins Jinder Mahal, Mojo Rawley, Mike Kanellis, and Maria Kanellis as stars who have recently signed new five-year contracts.

Strowman continued by noting that he tries to keep his business life as quiet as possible and hates it when people outside of the business know what he’s doing.

Thus, he thinks it’s cool that they were able to keep that hush-hush. He added that he’s glad no one told the media outlets about the news.

Braun Strowman Opens Up About Creative Frustrations, Vince McMahon’s Reaction

Braun Strowman has previously admitted how being left off SummerSlam was a “tough pill to swallow” for him.

With WWE not having anything for him at the time, he knew there was no narrative reason to include him on their big summer pay-per-view. Now in an interview with Sam Roberts, Strowman has opened up about his creative frustrations with WWE. He even revealed how Vince McMahon reacted when he shared them.

“I was like, ‘Vince, what is going on? I’m miserable.’ And he talked me off a ledge. He was like, ‘Look, big man, I want you for the long haul. It doesn’t matter what you’re doing right now. I care about what you’re doing ten years from now. I’ve invested in you, you’re one of my guys. Don’t worry. You’re fine.’ And just hearing that, coming from that man … I dunno …”

“I’ve Had Enough”

Strowman recalled being so fed up with his lack of momentum that he marched into a production meeting. Instead of having a future meeting scheduled, Vince McMahon instead took the time to clear the room and speak with him for 45 minutes.

“[…] legitimately I walked into the production meeting one day, and I was like, ‘I’ve had enough.’ I was just mad about everything. He kicked everybody out of the production meeting — like two hours before Raw was about to start, the show wasn’t even done — and talked to me for forty-five minutes, heart-to-heart, man-to-man conversation and opened my eyes to the picture of like ‘wow, why am I worrying about this?’ Vince doesn’t get the credit that is due to him. And if he hears this, he’s gonna get pissed off that I’m saying his name and putting him over.”

Strowman is supposedly primed for another major push in WWE. The intention is for him to once again become a hulking force. He has previously predicted that he will headline WrestleMania and that it is inevitable he will become Universal Champion.

Braun Strowman Reveals Interesting Battle Royal Angle He Had Pitched

Braun Strowman has pulled off many unbelievable angles as the Monster Among Men but at the same time, the former Wyatt Family member has also been involved in many comedic angles during his WWE run so far.

The iconic moments which are associated with Strowman range from him flipping over cars and trucks to winning the tag team titles with a 10-year-old Nicholas at the Grandest Stage Of Them All, WrestleMania.

During a recent interview with Gamespot.com, Strowman talked about all these moments he has been a part of over the years and also revealed another ridiculous angle he had pitched to officials.

Per Strowman, while talking to Officials about battle royal, he has pitched an idea where he would come out and flip over the entire ring to eliminate the people inside it:

“I’ve pitched a couple of times in battle royals where I come out of nowhere and lift up the ring and dump everybody out of the ring before, so that I think would be a fun one, I don’t think there’s much left to flip unless I ripped a whole roof off the stadium or something like that.”

Braun Strowman went on to say that it’s fun to throw the comedic stuff along with his more serious storylines because it allows fans to connect with him and engage in the story.

Apart from this, Strowman also discussed his finishing move, what is Nicholas doing right now and more. You can check out his full interview at this link.

Braun Strowman & Seth Rollins Win WWE RAW Tag Team Titles

The reign of WWE RAW Tag Team Champions for Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows didn’t last long as Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman put an end to it.

During Monday’s episode of RAW, in St Paul, Minnesota at the Xcel Energy Center, Rollins and Strowman beat The OC to win the tag team titles. This match served as the headliner of the show.

The finish saw Strowman hit his powerslam finisher to Anderson while Rollins connected with The Stomp to Gallows.

WWE RAW Results & Live Coverage (8/19)

This unlikely partnership is likely heading towards a match between the two stars.

It’s been reported that Rollins and Strowman are set to have a match with Rollins defending his Universal Title against “The Monster Among Men” at the next WWE PPV.

WWE presents the Clash of Champions pay-per-view event on in that will air on the WWE Network. As of this writing, WWE has yet to officially announce any matches for the show.

Anderson & Gallows beat The Usos and Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder in a Triple Threat Match to win the WWE RAW Tag Team Titles back on the July 29th episode of RAW in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Braun Strowman Reflects On Incident With Brock Lesnar At Royal Rumble

Braun Strowman opened up on an incident involving Brock Lesnar at the 2018 Royal Rumble PPV.

He did so by talking with talkSPORT where he reflected on it which was Strowman hitting Lesnar with a knee strike that Lesnar didn’t appreciate. This led to Lesnar responding with two legitimate punches

“We laughed about it afterwards. It is what it is. We got to the back and I said ‘Hey, my bad” he said the same thing and we went about our business.

We’re both grown-ups, we both knew what we were getting into and at the end of the day, we’re both very dominant males and neither of us wanted to give in an inch, so in the end we took an inch from each other.”

Strowman continued by noting that when he works with Lesnar, he has the mindset that it’s a real fight. He brought up working a Royal Rumble match a few years ago where he got antsy and threw some heavy hitters at each other and carried on from there.

Strowman noted that Lesnar is one of the baddest human beings on the planet and he enjoys the physical aspect of their matches. He noted that when you’re in the ring with Brock Lesnar it is full contact.

Strowman added that Lesnar brings the big fight and that’s why people pay money to see him.

This incident happened in a Triple Threat Match for the Universal Title with Strowman, Lesnar, and Kane.

US Title Match Confirmed For Next Week’s Raw

Braun Strowman ruined the Club’s plan on this week’s episode of Raw as he saved Seth Rollins and Ricochet from a beating at the hands of the OC.

Not liking Strowman’s interference in their business, AJ Styles had challenged him for a US title match at the upcoming episode of Monday Night Raw and now the Monster Among Men has responded to this challenge.

The former Wyatt Family member took on his twitter account earlier today and responding to Styles’ challenge, he claimed that the trio has made a big mistake:

WWE was quick to make the match official after this tweet and they sent out a press release through their official website, confirming that the title match will be taking place next week:

“In a WWE.com interview following the physical altercation with The Monster Among Men, Styles challenged Strowman to a match next week, where the United States Title will be on the line. Strowman accepted the challenge via Twitter.”

What’s interesting to note here is that while this title match makes it seem like Braun Strowman will be getting involved in a rivalry with AJ Styles in future, a latest report suggests otherwise.

According to latest word on the matter, the Monster Among Men is actually scheduled to face a different star in the main event of the upcoming Clash Of Champions PPV. You can check out a detailed report on the matter here.

Braun Strowman Predicts He’ll Headline WrestleMania 36

Braun Strowman recently spoke with Justin Barrasso of SI.com where he spoke about a wide range of topics.

During the interview, he was asked about his long-term goals, which are to headline WrestleMania 36 against Drew McIntyre.

“I will main event WrestleMania,” said Strowman. “Hopefully more than once on my way to a Hall of Fame career. I’ll start with a main event against Drew McIntyre. And I’ll tell you who will win, me.”

Historically, WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon likes big men to hold the WWE Title. Strowman made it known that he is already envisioning his string of world title runs but that’s not his current goal right now.

The reason for that is due to his belief that he doesn’t need something to boost his character as he thinks he gets some of the biggest reactions out of anyone just walking out because of his sheer size and ability.

Strowman admitted that being the top champion would be cool right now but he’s in WWE for the long haul and hopes to have many more years in WWE so he thinks there is plenty of time for him to become champion.

WrestleMania 36 will take place Sunday, April 5th, 2020 from Tampa, FL at the Raymond James Stadium and air on the WWE Network.

In early July it was revealed that Strowman was the latest current star to re-sign with the company. Strowman joins other stars who have recently signed new five-year contracts.

Top WWE Star Signs New Deal

WWE Monday Night RAW star Braun Strowman is the latest current star to re-sign with the company.

“The Monster Among Men” announced the news in a recent post on his official Instagram account.

He wrote, “Well I’m sure more than a few of you will like this announcement!!!!!!!! Here’s to 4 more years of being the hardest working and best big man in the whole damn industry and working for the Greatest promotion in the world the @wwe.”

Strowman joins Jinder Mahal, Mojo Rawley, Mike Kanellis, and Maria Kanellis as stars who have recently signed new five-year contracts. WWE has been trying to sign their talent to long term deals to keep them under contract by offering them big money.

It’s no secret that there have been reports about several talents being unhappy in the company and looking to exit when their deals expire.

Strowman just finished up a program with Bobby Lashley at the WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view event in Philadelphia, PA as he won the Last Man Standing contest.

As of this writing, there’s no word yet on who he’ll be facing at SummerSlam on Sunday, August 11, 2019 in Toronto, Ontario at the Scotiabank Arena.

Braun Strowman Primed For Another Monster Push

It’s been reported that Strowman is being primed for a renewed push into the main event. Paul Heyman is said to be a contributing factor behind this decision. The idea is to bring Braun back to his monstrous, brute character in an effort to relegitimize him as a top Superstar.

Tom Colohue of Sportskeeda.com wrote the following, stating one source informed him that “The idea is to get Strowman back to his roots as a monster, just destroying everything in his path. He hasn’t been used as effectively as he could be.”

Another source told him that “Heyman’s still the same guy who brought you ECW. He likes the technical style, but he also likes big, destructive forces of nature. Braun is perfect for that.”

Monster Light Show

Last week featured a major spot with Braun Strowman and Bobby Lashley. During the early moments of Monday Night RAW, the two men would see their 2 Out Of 3 Falls matchup come to a sudden end after they ploughed through the LED wall at the top of the entrance ramp.

After the spot, WWE would report that both men required medical attention and speculated on the seriousness of their injuries.

Bobby Lashley appeared on last night’s episode of RAW, squashing a returning Rey Mysterio. Braun Strowman, however, was not featured.

The two Superstars will clash this Sunday at Extreme Rules in a Last Man Standing matchup.

Braun Strowman Shares Backstage Reaction To Bray Wyatt’s Firefly Funhouse Segments

Braun Strowman gave high praise to former WWE Champion Bray Wyatt for his Firefly Funhouse segments during a recent interview with Chad Dukes where he shared the backstage reaction to these segments.

This interview was done to promote WWE’s return to Washington D.C. for a live event on Saturday, July 6. This is where he spoke highly of Wyatt and these segments by noting that he thinks it’s awesome.

“It’s a monitor sellout in the back every week for all the boys and stuff, we crowd around the monitor just to see what shenanigans and ridiculousness he comes up with next.”

Strowman would continue by noting that Wyatt thinks outside of the box and has this ‘it’ that no one else has and you can see it coming across with the Firefly Funhouse.”It is so unbelievably entertaining,” Strowman said.

These segments are a twisted take on kids television shows such as Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood, that has been airing on RAW over the last few months as a re-introduction of his character to the fans after he was off of TV since September.

Strowman was introduced to fans on the main roster when he was added to The Wyatt Family that included Wyatt, Luke Harper, and Erick Rowan years ago.

Braun Strowman Reportedly Working Injured

We haven’t seen Braun Stormwan wrestle for a couple of weeks now, and there seems to be a good reason behind it.

Strowman’s last match was a fatal five-way elimination match two weeks ago, and since then he has been involved in stuff like arm wrestling and tug-of-war contests.

The reason why we’re not seeing Strowman plow his enemies in the ring, is because he is currently working through a leg or knee injury which has slowed him down, according to report by Wrestling Observer Radio. It was reported that Strowman will still continue to work despite the injury.

Meanwhile WWE has announced a Falls Count Anywhere Match between Strowman and Bobby Lashley for tomorrow night on Raw.

It remains to be seen if he’ll actually participate in the match or not.

Strowman is also not booked for Extreme Rules yet, but there’s still two Raw episodes to go so it’s possible to find him competing at the event. Interestingly enough, Strowman was also not booked for Stomping Grounds and Money in the Bank.

Braun Strowman Discusses Desire To Retire The Undertaker

Braun Strowman has an interesting goal set out for himself in the pro wrestling business.

The Monday Night RAW star elaborated in an interview withThe Express on his desire to not only share the ring with pro wrestling legend The Undertaker but also to retire him after having a successful wrestling career.

Strowman’s belief is that he could do to Taker what he did to former WWE Champion The Big Show as after their steel cage match on an episode of RAW from a few years ago that led to Show getting written off of television due to him needing hip surgery.

That belief is that after his match with Show, he has made fewer appearances for the company. With Taker getting older and working fewer matches these days, this would be a perfect opportunity for him to take a spotlight from beating “The Deadman.”

“Just the opportunity to share the ring with The Undertaker but maybe be the final hammer to nail the coffin shut at The Deadman, The Monster is up to the challenge. I don’t know how many more retirement matches he can have. I can put him out to pasture like I did to Big Show.”

At this show, The Undertaker returns to in-ring action when he takes on Goldberg at the Super ShowDown pay-per-view event. On the flip side, Strowman will take on Bobby Lashley.

Braun Strowman Denies Reports Of Injury

When Braun Strowman was removed from the Money In The Bank ladder match, it was speculated that the Monster Among Men was dealing with some sort of injury.

However, Brock Lesnar’s run in at the show changed things. A lot of people started believing that the company simply removed Strowman from the bout to protect him as they probably didn’t want to do the beatdown angle with Braun they did with Sami Zayn.

Now The former Wyatt Family Member has also denied such reports. He was asked about his condition during a recent interview with the Daily Star and replying to it, he explained that there is a difference between being hurt and being injured:

“We are all banged up, but there is a difference between being hurt and being injured, I am in the best shape of my life, stronger than I have ever been, faster than I have ever been, and a little lighter than I have ever been”

Continuing on the topic, Braun Strowman explained that he is in the best shape of his life and he can go longer than ever, claiming that he can work 45-minute matches without getting exhausted.

Apart from this, Braun revealed the best advice he has received in WWE and he also talked about his frustrating chase of the Universal title. You can check out his full interview at this link.
