Braun Strowman Shares Men’s MITB Prediction, Talks Possible WrestleMania Headliner

Braun Strowman spoke with The Mirror to promote the Money in the Bank pay-per-view event that takes place on Sunday (May 19, 2019) in Hartford, CT at the XL Center that will be air on WWE Network.

During the interview, he offered his prediction for the en’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match that will see Sami Zayn vs. Ricochet vs. Drew McIntyre vs. Baron Corbin vs. Randy Orton vs. Andrade vs. Finn Balor vs. Mustafa Ali.

This is where Strowman was quoted by stating, “I don’t see anybody stopping Drew McIntyre for climbing up that ladder and taking that briefcase. I could 100% see myself and Drew McIntyre main-eventing WrestleMania for the Universal Championship for years to come.”

Strowman noted that McIntyre is someone that he has been waiting to feud with as he hasn’t had a one on one match with him yet without any kind of interference.

“So if opportunity for the Monster versus the Scottish psychopath I think no matter where you put it, we’re going to sell the arena out, people are going to be in for a fight.”

McIntyre is the betting favorite to win this match that would guarantee him a world title match within the next year. WWE is slated to hold WrestleMania 36 on April 5, 2020, which is going to be held at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.

During a recent edition of Dave Meltzer’s Wrestling Observer Radio, it was noted that Strowman’s arm was wrapped up during the match, sparking speculation that he could be dealing with an injury. However, Strowman isn’t injured enough not to work, as he did a 15-minute match with Zayn.

In regards to why Strowman was removed from the match, Meltzer confirmed that the move was made as part of a longer storyline that will play out over time. No further details were given as to why Strowman was removed from the match.

What do you think about Strowman being pulled from the MITB ladder match?

Reason Why Braun Strowman Hasn’t Been Used Much Since WrestleMania

Braun Strowman hasn’t been used in any significant storyline on WWE Programming in recent times and it appears that his absence from main event caliber feuds can be linked directly to his WrestleMania performance.

According to reports from Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Strowman messed up a number of spots during the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal at the show.

One such spot that went viral was when Mustafa Ali and Luke Harper were on the apron and Strowman had to eliminate both the stars via a run in.

However, the Monster Among Man forgot this spot in the first try and Harper had to remind him of the elimination for it to be executed successfully the second time, as seen in the video below:

https://twitter.com/uncle_callum/status/1115025907197018112

Not only this but Braun Strowman apparently also botched the ending of the bout and while he still won the match, the sloppy finish took the sheen away from his victory.

All this made Vince McMahon angry and this bad impression on the Boss is the reason why the former Wyatt Family Member hasn’t been used much on WWE Programming since the Show Of Shows.

It’s worth mentioning here that this is not the first report of Strowman being in hot water as it has been said previously that the former NXT Star comes late for the shows and leaves earlier than a lot of stars.

It’s not hard to imagine that this and some other incidents that have been reported over the last few months are the reason why Strowman’s momentum has been derailed in McMahon’s eyes.

Braun Strowman Reflects On How He Came Up With His Ring Name

WWE star Braun Strowman did an interview with the Journal Sentinel in Milwaukee where he spoke about a wide range of pro wrestling related topics.

The reason that Strowman was in Milwaukee this past weekend was due to him throwing out the first pitch in the Brewers vs. Dodgers game. WWE also had a loop of live events around the area.

In the interview, Strowman revealed how he came up with his ring name in WWE.

It turns out that he was watching SportsCenter on ESPN and got inspiration for his first name from Ryan Braun. He originally pitched Stowman but WWE changed it to Strowman.

“We were coming down to a time crunch with my new character name, and everything that I had submitted either had legal issues or they didn’t like,” explained Strowman. “Randomly, SportsCenter was on at the WWE Performance Center, and they were talking about Ryan Braun and I was like, ‘Braun…brawn.

That’s got a pretty good ring to it, and it fits me my build and everything. So, I pitched Braun. Originally it was Stoman and then we changed it to Strowman, and here we are. The rest is history. Ryan Braun is a big contributing factor to The Monster Among Men becoming a real-life character.”

Braun Strowman Appears After RAW, Rollins Is Ready For AJ Styles

Braun Strowman Appears After RAW

Two notable faces were missing from last night’s (Mon. April 22, 2019) Monday Night RAW broadcast. Those being Braun Strowman and Bobby Lashley. However, after the show went off-air, both men appeared as part of the evening’s dark match to close out the night.

WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins teamed up with Strowman to defeat Lashley and Drew McIntyre.

Rollins Is Ready For AJ Styles

Last night, former WWE Champion AJ Styles earned a shot at Rollins’ Universal Championship. The pair will square off at the Money In The Bank (MITB) pay-per-view (PPV) event next month (Sunday, May 19, 2019). All the action takes place from the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut.

“The Architect” took to Twitter after the announcement to offer his reaction. Rollins said that he has been ready for a match-up with Styles for the past 15 years. Check it out here:

That’s not the only match that was made official for the card. WWE also made it official that Becky Lynch will be defending her RAW Women’s Championship against Lacey Evans at the show.

Braun Strowman Advertised As Honorary Shield Member At WWE Event

An advertised lineup for the WWE live event in Paris, France on May 10 at the AccorHotels Arena has surfaced online courtesy of Reddit member AMBREXIT and features an interesting match.

According to the card, Braun Strowman will serve as an honorary member of The Shield alongside Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins as they battle Drew McIntyre, Bobby Lashley, and Baron Corbin in a six-man tag team match. Strowman will join Triple H and Kurt Angle as honorary members of The Shield.

The rest of the card will feature Finn Balor vs. Elias, WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Bayley & Sasha Banks vs. Nia Jax & Tamina, WWE RAW Tag Team Champions The Revivals vs. Chad Gable & Bobby Roode, Lucha House Party vs. Jinder Mahal & The Singh Brothers, and Apollo Crews vs. Mojo Rawley.

Keep in mind that WWE often takes full advantage of the “card subject to change” disclaimer, so it’s possible they will go in a different direction. However, these matches indicate where WWE’s storyline plans are headed in the months ahead.

WWE has confirmed that Ambrose would be departing from the WWE at the end of April as he has decided to not sign a new contract with the company.

Braun Strowman Provides Roman Reigns Update

Its now been several months since Roman Reigns’ heartbreaking announcement. “The Big Dog” opened up an October episode of Monday Night RAW to announce he has been diagnosed with leukemia. The disease is something Reigns has battled and beat before when he was younger. Now, however, it has returned, and as a result, he was forced to relinquish his Universal Championship.

Reigns has since been taking time from WWE to focus on his health and spend time with his family. Recently, Reigns was photographed with a fan in Hawaii while on vacation. The former World Champ was in the gym getting a workout in, and looked to be in great shape and good spirits. Now, in a recent interview with WrestlingNewsCo, Braun Strowman has provided an update on his longtime rival.

“The Monster Among Men” confirmed that Reigns is vacationing in Hawaii and visiting family. He also added that he’s doing his treatments at home and is feeling well:

“[Roman is] doing really well. I think he’s in Hawaii right now on vacation seeing some of his family so everything is going good.

“It’s just a day by day thing. I know he’s doing his treatments and stuff at home. When I speak to him, he sounds well and says he feels well. I trust him with everything he’s ever told me.”

Do you think Reigns will be able to get back in the ring at any point this year?

Braun Strowman Opens Up On Being Pulled From Universal Title Match At Royal Rumble

Former title contender Braun Strowman recently spoke with The Asbury Park Press to promote his appearance at iPlay America in Freehold, NJ.

During the interview, he was asked about the change to a big match at WWE’ next pay-per-view event that would’ve seen him challenge Brock Lesnar for the Universal Title at the Royal Rumble Royal Rumble that takes place on Sunday, January 27, 2019 in Phoenix, Arizona at Chase Field.

WWE made the change when they did an angle on Monday’s RAW that saw Strowman busted out a window and ripped off the door of WWE Chairman Vince McMahon’s limo. Now, Finn Balor will step up and challenge “The Beat.”

“It’s a pretty hard pill to swallow right here right now, but at the same time I’m going to use it for fuel to the fire to continue to push the monster train along. Nothing’s going to stop me from reaching the top of this mountain.”

“I’m going to do my best to get into the 30-man Royal Rumble (match). Right now I know I’m not in the good graces with the boss right now with destroying his limo and stuff like that. So I might have to go in there the old fashioned way, how Braun Strowman has always got what he wanted, and do a little heavy persuading.”

Legend Rips WWE For Replacing Strowman With Balor As Lesnar’s Rumble Opponent

After Braun Strowman ripped the door off of Vince McMahon’s limo during Raw, The Chairman stripped “The Monster Among Men” of his Universal Championship Match against Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble and made an impromptu Fatal 4-Way Match for later in the night to determine his new challenger. Balor then beat John Cena, Drew McIntyre, and Baron Corbin to earn the Universal Championship Match against Lesnar at the Royal Rumble.

Superstar Billy Graham, a WWE Hall of Famer and one-time WWE Champion, took to Facebook on Tuesday night to criticize WWE for switching Strowman with Balor as Lesnar’s opponent at the Royal Rumble. Graham feels that WWE fans won’t buy Balor as a worthy opponent for Lesnar, pointing out that Balor is considerably smaller.

Graham wrote, “Well fans, just my professional opinion once more, and certainly nothing personal about any of the talent. But as you folks who watched RAW last night ( I didn’t ) know that ” The Monster Among Men ” Braun Strowman has been pulled from the main event against Lesnar. Despite Strowman’s superhuman strength and his ability to over turn paramedic trucks, 18 wheeler 10,000 pound cab trucks, and then overturn Vince’s limo, he can’t quite seem to beat a mere mortal in Brock Lesnar. So, now he has been replaced with less than 2 weeks before this mega PPV by Finn Balor.

“Does anyone in their right mind really believe Finn will have a chance in Hell of beating Lesnar ? I would want my money back immediately. Word is Finn Balor will spend 3 hours getting his spray paint demon gimmick on, to help him beat Lesnar, who it looks like to me out weighs Finn by a good 100 pounds.”

Graham also responded to Dave Meltzer stating on Wrestling Observer Radio that Vince McMahon planned Balor vs. Lesnar all along. With WWE continuing to promote Lesnar vs. Strowman to sell tickets, Graham feels that WWE is double-crossing fans “by putting in a man who will not sell one ticket to see this match.”

Graham continued, “Ah, but the following news by Meltzer is very telling. Meltzer is reporting that this was the plan all along to sell tickets. Knowing that fans would not buy Finn Balor against Lesnar. So that is where the WWE is with their talent. They have to work a gimmick that is a new one for me by advertising a wrestler the fans think had a chance to beat Lesnar to sell tickets, then pull the rug right out from underneath the fans, double crossing them by putting in a man who will not sell one ticket to see this match. Also waiting as long as they could.”

Graham closed his post by writing, “Damn, the WWE sucks when it comes to talent. I bet that Cody Rhodes and his crew will out draw WWE head to head every time. Truly, a colossal scam by the WWE, man do they ever suck. S.B.G.”

Reason Why WWE Continued To Promote Braun Strowman vs Brock Lesnar For So Long

We recently reported on WWE’s reasoning behind removing Braun Strowman from his scheduled match against Brock Lesnar. The match was meant to happen at WWE’s Royal Rumble event at the end of the month. With the company not wanting Strowman to lose to Lesnar once again, however, plans were changed. Finn Balor won a Fatal 4-Way this past Monday. This earned him a shot against Lesnar for the Universal Championship.

But if WWE’s intentions were always to change the plans to protect Braun’s character, why continue promoting the matchup against Lesnar for so long?

According to Dave Meltzer via Wrestling Observer Radio, the decision behind the continued advertising was done to continue selling tickets.

Considering that this year’s Royal Rumble is emanating from Chase Field, a baseball stadium, the company wanted to ensure they could sell approximately 40,000 tickets to the WWE Universe. As far as WWE was concerned, Brock vs Braun was the way to do it.

Brock Lesnar has had a recent string of matches against smaller opponents. He reportedly enjoys working with these kinds of Superstars. This could be another reason why Balor is now going to be facing off against Lesnar.

Finn has spoken before about facing off against Brock Lesnar and finally gets his opportunity to reclaim a championship he never lost at Royal Rumble.

Reason Why Braun Strowman Was Removed From Royal Rumble Matchup

Last night during Monday Night Raw, Vince McMahon would fine Braun Strowman $100,000. He then officially removed him from the Universal Championship match at Royal Rumble. Finn Balor would eventually win a Fatal 4-Way matchup later that night, earning the right to compete against Brock Lesnar.

If you thought WWE’s reasoning behind removing Braun was down to his injury, you’d be half right. According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, there is more to the story than just Braun’s recovery.

“[…] why isn’t Braun Strowman in this match? Well, the obvious reason is that he’s just not physically cleared by WWE’s medical staff to do a big heavy duty match with Brock Lesnar.”

“However, they also didn’t want Braun to get beaten by Brock, and they were not planning on putting the belt on Braun Strowman at the Royal Rumble,” Johnson revealed. “So they kind of painted themselves into a corner and then they painted themselves out of that corner somehow.”

Lesnar may well keep the Universal championship through to WrestleMania 35, where it is speculated he will face Seth Rollins. Despite Lesnar/Strowman no longer happening, there is still a chance WWE could deliver the match in the future.

Finn Balor has been the recipient of a major push in recent weeks. He recently gained a notable victory against Drew McIntyre at TLC, and made a surprise appearance at the recent NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool event. This push makes sense in order to rebuild Balor up to main event status prior to his matchup at Royal Rumble.

Batista & Titus O’Neil Reunite, Strowman Shares Roman Reigns Photo

Batista & Titus O’Neil Reunite

Titus O’Neil recently noted that he was heading to Hollywood to possibly get some film work alongside his good friend and former WWE Superstar Batista. The pair recently reunited, and O’Neil shared the following photo on Twitter:

Batista has seen a tremendous amount of success in his acting career. He has picked up several high-profile roles, but none bigger than his role as Drax The Destroyer in Marvel’s cinematic universe. He even scored another big role recently, but it could affect his ability to participate in a match at WrestleMania 35.

Strowman Shares Roman Reigns Photo

As many of you know, Roman Reigns has been out-of-action for the past several months as he battles leukemia. Reigns was forced to relinquish the Universal Championship before taking his hiatus. One of his biggest on-screen rivals, Braun Strowman, shared a photo of himself with Reigns inside the ring.

In the photo, Reigns looks to be gearing up for a Superman Punch. However, Strowman’s arms are extended upwards, making it look like the iconic scene from ‘Dirty Dancing.’ Strowman captioned the photo with the film’s name. Check it out here:

Braun Strowman Reportedly Still Not Medically Cleared To Compete

Braun Strowman is scheduled to face Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at the Royal Rumble. According to a recent report from Wrestling Observer radio, however, Strowman is still recovering from recent elbow surgery.

“I want to make something clear, Braun Strowman is not cleared,” Dave Meltzer said. “That’s also why what happened tonight happened because he’s not cleared for anything physical yet.”

Strowman was involved in a promo segment with Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman this week.

Braun Strowman Recovering From Shoulder Surgery

Strowman had surgery to remove bone chips from his elbow. He has only wrestled once since November, which was at TLC against Baron Corbin. On that night, several WWE Superstars were required to help him defeat the temporary Raw General Manager.

Sasha Banks Names One Thing She Back In Her Life

Former WWE RAW Women’s Champion Sasha Banks has sent out a vague message on her official Instagram account that has fans talking. In the post, she brought up how she wants magic and to feel like herself again.

Banks, who is slated to compete in the women’s Royal Rumble match later this month alongside Carmella, Natalya, Bayley, Ember Moon, Ruby Riott, Sarah Logan, and Liv Morgan, wrote the following:

“There is something about the way life happens today that makes it hard to look ahead. There are things that make it difficult to laugh; difficult to live the way you want. There are things that make it almost impossible to trust where you are, or to believe in where you want to be. You look around and life is happening way too fast. Sometimes it feels like the moments are gone. Everything happens all at once and right away. We’re marching towards a destiny we cannot understand, towards the kingdom of convenient. Then one day you look up and you can’t find the meaning. Your crisis of purpose and passion is acting up, but they tell you that that’s suppose to be normal. Well… I don’t want normal, I want magic; cause that’s the place that feels like home to me. That’s the place where I remember what dreams look like, where meaning is effortless, and purpose is simple. That’s the place where love still matters. I want that feeling of coming home again. I want to feel like myself….. I want that magic”

WWE Documents Braun Strowman’s Recovery From Surgery (Video)

WWE has released footage of Braun Strowman’s recovery from recent elbow surgery. The company presented episode 1 of “Remaking a Monster” on their YouTube channel today:

“Get an all-access look at Braun Strowman’s elbow surgery and the first steps in his rehab journey as he works his way back to the ring,” WWE’s description of the video reads.

Braun Strowman Injury

In storyline, Strowman received the injury after 3-on-1 attack by Drew McIntyre, Baron Corbin, and Bobby Lashley.

“As reported by Michael Cole during the Monday Night Raw broadcast, Braun Strowman suffered a shattered elbow at the hands of Drew McIntyre, Bobby Lashley, and Acting Raw General Manager Baron Corbin,” a WWE statement on his injury reads.

There was concern Strowman would not be cleared to compete at TLC on December 16th. He was, however, and then defeated Baron Corbin to officially end his reign as Raw General Manager.

Braun Strowman vs Brock Lesnar

Up next for Braun Strowman is a clash with Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar. The match will take place at the Royal Rumble on January 27th.

The match at the Rumble will actually be the 4th time the two have faced each other. They’ve only met twice before in single’s competition, however. Lesnar has won all 4 matches. The other matches were a fatal 4-way which also involved Roman Reigns and Samoa Joe and a triple threat which also involved Kane.

Braun Strowman Back In The Gym (Photo)

Braun Strowman hasn’t been physical inside the WWE ring for quite some time now. Strowman recently underwent surgery on his elbow to repair some bone spurs. He was booked to face Baron Corbin in a Tables Ladders and Chairs (TLC) match earlier this month. Strowman did show up for the match, but since it was a no disqualification match, he utilized some help.

Finn Balor, Apollo Crews, Bobby Roode, Chad Gable, and Heath Slater all beat down Corbin, allowing Strowman to pick up the pinfall victory. Now, Strowman is set to face Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view (PPV) on January 27th. Strowman is still recovering from his surgery, and likely won’t compete until the Royal Rumble.

However, it looks like he’s on the right track to full recovery, as he posted a photo on Instagram of himself back in the gym. Check it out here:

“And so it begins!!!! 8 weeks with out training has been killing me. First day back training shoulders. 25lbs at a time. Slow and steady and getting ready to pass these out”

The 2019 Royal Rumble PPV event goes down from the Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona on January 27th.

Three Major Superstars Scheduled To Return For First Raw Of 2019

With the McMahon family and Triple H having recently declared that change would be coming, WWE is clearly hoping to start 2019 off with a bang — shaking off the negative ratings from 2018 in the process.

At the end of Friday night’s New Year’s Eve Raw tapings, it was announced that John Cena, Braun Strowman, and Brock Lesnar would be returning to the red brand sooner than people might have thought. The three will appear on the very first Raw of 2019 on January 7th.

Despite this attempt to utilize some of their pre-established star power, WWE has not divulged what kind of role Cena will have on the show. Considering he is set to begin shooting a new movie soon, his contribution may most likely be minimal. This shoot is also the reason John Cena is not scheduled to appear at the 2019 Royal Rumble.

Plans for Strowman and Lesnar, however, are a bit clearer. The two will feature in order to promote their upcoming clash for the WWE Universal Championship at the Royal Rumble event.

If things go to plan as the McMahon/Triple H collective hope, then this first episode of Raw should herald in a new age as they actively attempt to deliver on their promise of improving their shows.

Only time and inevitable ratings will tell if it pays off.

Update On Braun Strowman’s Injury Status (Photo)

Braun Strowman has missed the past few weeks of Monday Night RAW after undergoing elbow surgery. Strowman was dealing with bone spurs in his elbow and required surgery to repair the issue. However, in the midst of his recovery, Strowman was booked to face Baron Corbin in a Tables Ladders and Chairs (TLC) match this past weekend.

The stipulation for the match was, if Strowman won, he would receive the next Universal Title shot against Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble. However, if Corbin won, his role as RAW General Manager would’ve become permanent. Corbin, Bobby Lashley, and Drew McIntyre attacked Strowman several weeks ago to write him off WWE TV in order for him to receive surgery.

There was doubt as to whether or not Strowman would show up for TLC, but he did so in a sling and wound up winning the match. Rather than perform any of the physicality himself, Strowman got several frustrated Superstars to beat Corbin down for him before standing on him for the pin. Now, Strowman will face Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble PPV on January 27th.

Yesterday, Strowman didn’t appear on Monday Night RAW on the USA Network. However, next week’s RAW was taped after last night’s episode went off-air due to next week’s holidays. Strowman did make an appearance on the pre-taped Christmas Eve episode of RAW for a segment with Paul Heyman. It looks like Strowman’s healing process has made some progression, as he’s no longer wearing a sling.

Instead, his arm was taped up. Check out a photo from the segment below:

Do you think Strowman will wrestle before the Royal Rumble?

Braun Strowman Sets Sights On Brock Lesnar, Bobby Lashley Reacts To TLC Loss

Braun Strowman Sets Sights On Brock Lesnar

Braun Strowman has shifted his attention towards his next feud following his return at Sunday’s (December 16th, 2018) WWE TLC pay-per-view event in San Jose, California at the SAP Center on the WWE Network when he beat Baron Corbin in a TLC Match. This was after he had some help from Kurt Angle, Heath Slater, Finn Balor, Apollo Crews and RAW Tag Team Champions Bobby Roode & Chad Gable that resulted in the finish.

Now, he’ll challenge WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar for the strap at next month’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view event. After this show, WWE’s YouTube channel released this video with Strowman talking to Dasha Fuentes about TLC and his upcoming title match.

He later wrote the following on his official Twitter account, “and to think I beat you without lifting an arm. Next stop is #RoyalRumble … @BrockLesnar is gonna get these hands!!! #WWETLC #MonsterAmongSlings.”

Braun Strowman Returns At WWE TLC, Earns Universal Title Match

Braun Strowman was victorious at Sunday’s (December 16th, 2018) WWE TLC pay-per-view event in San Jose, California at the SAP Center on the WWE Network. He made his return to in-ring action after undergoing surgery in order to get bone chips removed from his elbow. This was also a TLC Match. It was a short match as Kurt Angle, Heath Slater, Finn Balor, Chad Gable, Bobby Roode, and Apollo Crews attacked Corbin by hitting their finishers only for Strowman to pin Corbin to win the match.

There were some stipulations that go along with this contest. If Corbin had, he’ll be the permanent GM of Raw, but if he lost, he’ll lose all authority. Since Strowman won, he’ll face Brock Lesnar for the Universal Title at the Royal Rumble. Now, those situations have played out and Strowman is the #1 contender for the title.

This feud started at WWE Crown Jewel pay-per-view event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia at the King Fahd International Stadium on the WWE Network once Corbin attacked Strowman before he faced off with  Lesnar for the Universal Title.

The Royal Rumble pay-per-view event takes place on Sunday, January 27, 2019 in Phoenix, Arizona at Chase Field and will air on the WWE Network and some traditional pay-per-view outlets.

Report: Braun Strowman To Be At TLC, Medical Status Still Unclear

Braun Strowman hasn’t been seen on WWE Television in past few weeks and apart from a small update about his surgery, WWE has mostly been silent on the situation.

With the company providing no updates on his condition even with only days remaining to the TLC PPV, a lot of people had started wondering if he will even be at the show, but we now know that he will at least attend the event.

Pwinsider is reporting that the Monster Among Men is at the very least slated to be at the upcoming PPV. Though whether or not he will be wrestling at the event is still a mystery.

Braun Strowman has been away from WWE programming since the November 19th episode of Raw where Baron Corbin, Bobby Lashley, and Drew McIntyre unleashed a vicious three on one attack on him.

This angle was designed to hide a real-life injury Strowman was dealing with and later in the week, WWE had reported that Braun will require surgery.

He underwent the surgery next week and earlier reports suggested that if he is not ready to compete at the show, we could see a one-sided bout with the former Wyatt Family Member dominating the General Manager elect.

How true these speculations turn out to be will only be revealed on Sunday but for now, we atleast know that Braun Strowman will be present for the PPV.

Update On Braun Strowman’s Recovery From Surgery

Despite what was reported last week, former title contender Braun Strowman was not backstage at this week’s Monday Night RAW TV event from Houston, Texas. Instead, it was reported by PWInsider.com on Tuesday that he was not at the event but rather spotted in Austin, Texas which is where WWE will air tonight’s episode of SmackDown Live. Although he’s not expected to appear on the show, he’ll likely be checked out by WWE doctors.

It’s been well established that Strowman recently underwent successful elbow surgery at Andrews Sports Medicine in Birmingham, AL with the belief that the injury to be a minor issue. He has yet to be cleared to return to the ring in order to wrestle but is expected to be shortly as WWE is counting on him due to a big match being announced for their next/final pay-per-view event of the year. He’s expected to face Baron Corbin at TLC.

There are some stipulations that go along with this contest. If Corbin wins, he’ll be the permanent GM of RAW, but if he loses, he’ll lose all authority. If Strowman wins, he’ll face Brock Lesnar for the Universal Title at the Royal Rumble. This will also be a TLC Match.
