Braun Strowman Undergoes Elbow Surgery (Photo)

After the three on one attack on Raw last week, it was revealed that Braun Strowman will be undergoing a surgery to fix his ‘shattered elbow’.

Now WWE has confirmed that the Monster Among Men underwent a successful surgery this past Tuesday at Andrews Sports Medicine in Birmingham, AL.

Following the procedure, the former Wyatt Family member issued a warning on Twitter to the WWE Universe that ‘their end starts now.’

Though the company did not provide any further update on Strowman’s status so it’s hard to say whether or not he will be cleared for the upcoming TLC PPV next month.

Due to the uncertainty with Braun, there are a number of rumors going around about the possible plans if the Monster Sized athlete is not cleared for the show.

Based on the events of Raw, some people believe that WWE could go with a multi-person match involving Baron Corbin and his other associates vs. a team of babyface wrestlers.

Though all this is just a rumor for now and we’ll have to wait for an official detailed update on Braun Strowman’s injury to know whether or not he will be competing at the upcoming show.

As of this writing, Strowman’s TLC match with Baron Corbin is still on.

Several Backstage Notes From Last Night’s RAW

Last night’s episode of Monday Night RAW went down from The Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconson. The show continued the build to next month’s Tables Ladders and Chairs (TLC) pay-per-view (PPV). PWInsider has provided several interesting backstage notes regarding the show. First, it turns out Vince McMahon was backstage at the show and oversaw all creative aspects of the program.

It was also noted that Dean Ambrose’s promo was pre-taped, and he was not in Milwaukee with the rest of the roster last night. As for Braun Strowman’s promo, that angle was also pre-taped last week for this week’s show. However, Strowman is legitimately in Birmingham, Alabama for surgery. If he hasn’t already, he’s set to go under the knife to repair some bone spurs in his elbow.

It was also mentioned that several WWE personnel were happy with The Fiserv Forum and how easy it was to load into the stadium and utilize the facility. The report also revealed that the woman who asked Bayley and Sasha Banks how they would change the women’s division was planted in the crowd before the segment.

Finally, as we’ve noted, Ring Of Honor star Silas Young was in attendance for RAW. His deal with ROH is set to expire soon, and he’s rumored to be WWE bound.

What did you think about last night’s episode of Monday Night RAW?

Who Is Replacing Braun Strowman At Mixed Match Challenge?

The team of Braun Strowman and Ember Moon was going strong at the Mixed Match Challenge with winning all four of their matches and they surely seemed like the favourites of this season.

But since Braun has been injured on last week’s Raw, Ember needed a new partner to continue competing in the event.

WWE announced that Curt Hawkins will be replacing Braun Strowman as Ember Moon’s partner at the Mixed Match Challenge. Hawkins, known for his losing streak, has lost 236 matches without a single win.

Moon had a singles match against Alicia Fox on this week’s Raw where Fox was accompanied by her Mixed Match partner Jinder Mahal as well as The Singh Brothers. Curt Hawkins was at ringside for Moon and she ended up winning the match.

“Mahalicia” and the team of Ember Moon and Curt Hawkins will face each other on tonight’s episode of the Mixed Match Challenge following SmackDown Live.

On the other hand, there is no information on when Braun Strowman will return, as he was attacked by Bobby Lashley, Drew McIntyre and Baron Corbin last week, shattering his elbow in the process.

Update To Brock Lesnar’s WrestleMania 35 Opponent

As we hurtle towards ‘The Road To Wrestlemania,’ we have an update on who the WWE Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar, could be facing come April 7th. Early reports highlighted that Lesnar might clash with Braun Strowman. However, according to Dave Meltzer, this may not actually be the case.

Reported in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the current plan for Brock Lesnar now sees him taking on, Seth Rollins. Unless the WWE want to commit to a champion-versus-champion matchup, the implication is that Seth will drop the Intercontinental title. This could possibly take place against Dean Ambrose at TLC.

It’s reported that the Rollins vs Lesnar feud will use Roman Reigns’ unfortunate diagnosis as a narrative starting point but there are no specifics at this time.

Tabbles, Ladders and Chairs

‘The Beast Incarnate’ vs ‘The Monster Among Men’ seemed secure as Raw’s main event scene for the foreseeable future. However, with Strowman scheduled to receive elbow surgery in order to remove bone spurs, it leaves the WWE’s initial plans in limbo.

Although still slated to face off against Baron Corbin at TLC, it is unclear about the surgery’s rehabilitation time. However, the WWE appears confident in a January return.

The major stipulation for their clash would have seen Strowman receive a WWE Universal Title shot if victorious. Conversely, if Corbin were to succeed, he would gain full General Managership of Monday Night Raw.

Supposedly, the original outcome would have seen Braun win in order to challenge Lesnar going forward.

Contractual Obligations

With only a handful of matches left on his renewed contract, the WWE will want to pair up their Universal Champion against top contenders as we head towards April.

Post-WrestleMania, it is expected that Lesnar will wrap up all WWE commitments and return to the UFC, where it is speculated he will compete against the champ-champ, Daniel Cormier.

What do you think of this matchup? Would you prefer Beast vs Monster or Beast vs Architect?

Braun Strowman Will Undergo Elbow Surgery

RAW Superstar Braun Strowman will soon undergo surgery to clear out bone spurs from his elbow. After the procedure, WWE will have a better idea of whether or not he’ll be healthy in time for Tables, Ladders and Chairs on December 16th.

At this time, company officials are highly confident Strowman be cleared in time for the Royal Rumble. He’s currently slated to wrestle Brock Lesnar at the Rumble, according to f4wonline.com.

Both Strowman and Baron Corbin were part of the opening segment of this week’s WWE Raw broadcast. This led to a 6-man tag team elimination match being set up for later in the night. Braun teamed up with Finn Balor and Elias to compete against acting General Manager Corbin, Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre.

After Balor and Elias were eliminated, Strowman found himself in a precarious 3-on-1 position. Strowman was able to knock Corbin out of the match, but things quickly devolved into a beatdown on the giant. The match ended in a disqualification, but the heels did not stop there. The trio crushed Strowman’s arm using the steel steps, which will be used as a way to write him off television for the next few weeks.

After the show, WWE provided an update on Braun’s status and releasing a statement on their website, the company announced that he has suffered a ‘shattered elbow’

“As reported by Michael Cole during the Monday Night Raw broadcast, Braun Strowman suffered a shattered elbow at the hands of Drew McIntyre, Bobby Lashley, and Acting Raw General Manager Baron Corbin.”

As of this writing, his TLC match with Baron Corbin is still on, but that could change next week. We’ll keep you posted on Braun Strowman’s status.

Braun Strowman Ties WWE Record At Survivor Series

Braun Strowman had an impressive performance at the latest pay-per-view event presented by the WWE.

Team RAW (Finn Balor, Strowman, Bobby Lashley, Drew McIntyre & Dolph Ziggler) beat Team SmackDown (Jeff Hardy, Samoa Joe, Rey Mysterio, The Miz & Shane McMahon) in a Men’s Elimination Tag Team Match at the Survivor Series pay-per-view event in Los Angeles, California at the Staples Center on the WWE Network.

Strowman tied the record for most eliminations in a traditional Survivor Series match at this year’s Survivor Series event by picking up four eliminations in the contest. He pinned Jeff Hardy, Shane McMahon, The Miz and Rey Mysterio. As a result, he ties former WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns (2013) and Aja Kong (1993) for the record.

For those who may not know, this isn’t the only record he has while under the WWE banner. He also scored thirteen eliminations in the Greatest Royal Royal Rumble match and five in the seven-man Elimination Chamber match that took place back in February.

It’s expected that Strowman’s next feud and match will come against Acting Monday Night RAW General Manager Baron Corbin at the TLC pay-per-view event on Sunday, December 16th, 2018 in San Jose, California at the SAP Center. After that, it’s the road to WrestleMania. WWE has yet to announce this contest but is expected to do so shortly.

Update On WWE’s Plans For Brock Lesnar & The Universal Championship

Brock Lesnar re-gained the Universal Championship at Crown Jewel. He defeated Braun Strowman in a match which was originally to involve Roman Reigns. Lesnar had help from Baron Corbin, however. The Raw authority figure hit Strowman in the back of the head with the title belt before the match. This allowed Lesnar to pick up the win after delivering multiple F-5s to his injured opponent.

According to a recent report from Wrestling Observer Radio, Lesnar vs Strowman III (Brock beat Strowman at No Mercy 2017 as well) will not happen at WrestleMania, however.

“I was told directly that Brock Lesnar and Braun Strowman is not going to happen at WrestleMania,” Dave Meltzer said. There are only so many dates Lesnar’s schedule is open for the match to take place, however. If WrestleMania is not the date, it begs the question of when is.

When Will Brock Lesnar vs Braun Strowman II Take Place?

Unless something changes, the match won’t take place at the TLC PPV either.

“Right now Lesnar’s not booked in San Jose (TLC) which is the December PPV,” Meltzer continued.

With WrestleMania and TLC ruled out for Strowman vs Lesnar III, it leads the Royal Rumble as a likely date for the match. Another possibility is WWE would hold off on the match until after WrestleMania but that would likely mean another round of contract negotiations with Lesnar. A still further possibility is Lesnar vs Strowman happens sometime in between the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania.

Last night, Stephanie McMahon told Braun Strowman that if he captains the Raw Survivor Series team to victory he will get another title shot. Lesnar will face AJ Styles on Sunday.

New Match Added To December WWE MSG Show

The WWE is slated to make a return to world’s most famous arena, Madison Square Garden, in New York City on Wednesday, December 26th, 2018 for a live event.

There have been some changes to the card due to the ongoing storyline involving Braun Strowman and Baron Corbin. Now, these two stars will battle one-on-one in a singles match. Previously, it was Braun Strowman vs. Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre in a 1 on 2 handicap match advertised for this show. No word yet on if Ziggler will get a new opponent at this show or will be ringside for this contest.

Seth Rollins vs. Dean Ambrose for the Intercontinental Championship inside of a steel cage and Finn Balor vs. Bobby Lashley in a singles match are the other top matches being advertised for this show.

This event was originally advertised to feature the superstars from the blue brand, SmackDown Live. However, the company has decided to make it a RAW event. Rollins vs. Ambrose is expected to headline the show. The line-up now features:

  • Seth Rollins vs. Dean Ambrose – Steel Cage match for the Intercontinental Championship
  • Braun Strowman vs. Drew McIntyre
  • RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey vs. Mickie James
  • Finn Balor vs. Bobby Lashley
  • Johnny Gargano, Pete Dunne, Ricochet, Aleister Black & Velveteen Dream vs. The Undisputed Era & Tommaso Ciampa

Elias, Jinder Mahal, Alexa Bliss, and Bayley are also advertised for this show. The WWE will be announcing more matches for this live event in the coming weeks.

Braun Strowman Featured In WWE RAW Dark Segment, AOP On Tag Team Title Win

Braun Strowman Featured In WWE RAW Dark Segment

WWE taped this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW on Monday afternoon in Manchester, England at the Manchester Arena and later aired on the USA Network on a tape-delay. After the company got finished taping the show, there was a dark segment.

In the main event, a match between Drew McIntyre and Kurt Angle took place that saw McIntyre win the match by submission after using the Ankle lock. After the show, McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler attacked Angle, which led to Braun Strowman coming out to make the save by attacking both Dolph and Drew. Here’s footage of the segment:

AOP On Tag Team Title Win

Speaking of this week’s episode of RAW, The Authors of Pain became the new RAW Tag Team Champions after beating Seth Rollins in a 2-on-1 Handicap Match. WWE’s YouTube channel has released this video of Kayla Braxton talking to Akam, Rezar, and manager Drake Maverick about the big win.

This led to Drake making it known that in the past he said he would make the AOP the champions and now that time has come. He added that they’re the most dominant men on the planet are now the champions.

Update On Brock Lesnar’s WWE Status

For those wondering about the current contractual status of the newly crowned WWE Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar, it turns out that “The Beast” has at least two more WWE appearances slated for the future. One of which is a highly-anticipated rematch against SmackDown Live’s current WWE Champion, AJ Styles.

First reported by Dave Meltzer, Lesnar is apparently “signed for at least two more appearances.” He extrapolated his point, saying, “You always knew there’s a chance because how many times are you going to surprise people with Lesnar winning without people going, ‘Well there’s always a chance.’ So Lesnar is signed for at least two more appearances.”

When speculating on Brock’s potential opponents, Meltzer stated that “he’s going to face AJ at Survivor Series which is non-title and the plan is for Strowman, whether that’s at Rumble or Mania — I don’t know.”

“I can see Strowman winning the Rumble and facing Lesnar at Mania,” Meltzer predicated. “I could definitely see that.”

The Beast vs The Monster Among Men

Brock Lesnar recently won the WWE Universal Title for a second time (the only superstar to have done so) at WWE’s Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia. The match left a lot of fans confused, to say the least, given the pre-bell interference by Baron Corbin and subsequent squash against Braun Strowman.

A Strowman victory at the Royal Rumble would set up nicely for a rematch at Wrestlemania 35, this coming April.

But, here’s the crux of the issue: is that the match fans want to see?

What do you think? Is this a match you’d want at Wrestlemania? Is this theoretical plan the best storyline WWE have for these two? Who would you prefer they face, if not each other?

Brock Lesnar Wins Universal Championship, Sets Up Match at Survivor Series

Brock Lesnar is once again the WWE Universal champion. What was originally expected to be a triple threat match, Lesnar ended up in a one-on-one showdown with Bruan Strowman to determine a new champion after Roman Reigns was forced to surrender the belt following the revelation that his battle with leukemia was happening again after going into remission several years ago.

With Reigns out of the match, the WWE moved forward with a singles contest between Lesnar and Strowman.

All signs seemed to point towards Strowman finally ascending to the top of the WWE Raw roster with Lesnar expected to return to the UFC in early 2019 to compete for the heavyweight championship.

That plan may still very well happen but for now Lesnar is champion again after a very short match with Strowman on Friday.

In a carbon copy to many of Lesnar’s most dominant victories in WWE, he landed several ‘F-5’s on Strowman including one where he tossed the behemoth outside the ring. Finally, Lesnar landed one final F-5 that put Strowman down and out.

Lesnar was crowned WWE Universal champion and then just a few moments later his next match was officially announced.

At WWE Survivor Series on Sunday, Nov. 18, Lesnar will return to the ring to face current WWE heavyweight champion A.J. Styles from Smackdown Live.

Obviously, Lesnar is sticking around WWE longer than anyone expected with his plans to return to the UFC in 2019. There’s still plenty of time for the title to change hands before Lesnar would return to the Octagon.

There are also rumors that Lesnar may make a surprise appearance at UFC 230 in New York on Saturday night where Cormier defends his heavyweight title against Derrick Lewis in the main event but nothing has been confirmed as of yet.

Braun Strowman & Vince McMahon Share Messages To Roman Reigns On Social Media

Both Braun Strowman and Vince McMahon took to social media to share their heartfelt thoughts about the current situation that former WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns is going through.

Reigns revealed on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW in Providence, RI at the Dunkin Donuts Center that he’s been living with leukemia for 11 years, and unfortunately it’s back. Due to this, he is forced to relinquish the WWE Universal Title as he said that needs to focus on his family and his health.

It’s no secret that the WWE Chairman has been a big supporter of Reigns and has tried to make him the face of the WWE since splitting up The Shield. The official Twitter account of McMahon wrote the following about Reigns:

“A warrior, through and through. @WWERomanReigns, your entire #WWE family stands with you. #ThankYouRoman.”

Over the last few years, Reigns and Strowman have had their fair share of battles inside of a WWE ring. They have headlined live events, episodes of RAW and pay-per-view shows. Strowman posted a heartfelt message on his Instagram account about Reigns, which you can see here:

“I’ve been in many wars with this man. He’s been my biggest rival on tv!!!! But behind the scenes he’s one of my closest friends!!!! He’s is one of the toughest men I’ve ever met and I have no doubt he’ll kick leukemia’s ass and and be back to battling with me soon and I can’t wait. You and your family are in my prayers. Love you Big UCE!!!!! #FUCancer.”

Braun Strowman Suffers Minor Eye Injury (Photo)

Braun Strowman is sporting a minor eye injury thanks to WWE RAW Tag Team Champion Drew McIntyre. Cathy Kelley noted on the latest episode of “WWE Now” that Strowman suffered an eye injury after McIntyre connected with the Claymore. The injury is not serious and he should be fine.

As seen on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW in Philadelphia, PA at the Wells Fargo Center on the USA Network, The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns & Seth Rollins) defeated Strowman, Dolph Ziggler & McIntyre in a six-man tag team match, which served as the headliner.

Strowman recently took to his official Twitter account to send a warning to McIntyre heading into next Monday’s episode of RAW in Providence, RI at the Dunkin Donuts Center.

He wrote, “Took two of your best shots and got up from them!!! After I put the big dog down for good I’m coming for you @DMcIntyreWWE #GetTheseHands #TheMonstersComing.”

https://twitter.com/BraunStrowman/status/1052238958388760577

Strowman is slated to take on Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns in a Triple Threat Match with the Universal Championship on the line at the upcoming Crown Jewel pay-per-view event on November 2nd, 2018 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia at the King Saud University Stadium on the WWE Network.

Nicholas Takes Shot At The Bar’s SDL Tag Team Title Win

Last night (Tues. October 16, 2018) was certainly a day to remember for professional wrestling fans. Especially for The Bar. Sheamus and Cesaro teamed up and defeated The New Day to capture the SmackDown Live Tag Team Titles on SmackDown 1000. This was after some assistance from The Big Show, who turned heel and seemingly joined forced with The Bar.

Shortly after the victory, former RAW Tag Team Champion Nicholas took to Twitter to fire off a shot at The Bar. Here’s what he had to say:

“Congratulations to  and  for winning the  SmackDown Tag Team Titles!! couldn’t do it at Mania…just saying.”

For those of you who might not remember, Nicholas was selected by Braun Strowman to be his tag team partner at WrestleMania 34. “The Monster Among Men” picked Nicholas, son of WWE referee John Cone, out of the crowd. Together they defeated The Bar to capture the RAW Tag Team Titles.

It should be noted, Nicholas never engaged in any physicality in the match. He was tagged in for a few seconds before tagging back out. The following night on Monday Night RAW, however, Strowman and Nicholas vacated the titles.

What do you think about Nicholas’ shot at The Bar?

For decades, WWE considered MSG their home arena and only the company held events at this arena. However, that all changed once ROH and NJPW teamed up to hold an event there during WrestleMania 34 weekend.

Braun Strowman In Trailer For “Holmes & Watson” Movie (Video)

Braun Strowman appears in the recently released trailer of the upcoming movie “Holmes & Watson.” Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly star in the comedy due to be released December 21st, 2018.

His clip is approximately 1 minute and 30 seconds into the trailer. Strowman plays a bare-knuckle boxer in the film and hits Reilly’s character with a chair at one point.

Braun Strowman at Crown Jewel

Braun Strowman has an upcoming chance to win the WWE Universal Championship. He’ll take on Brock Lesnar and current champion, Roman Reigns, in a triple threat match scheduled for Crown Jewel on November 2nd, 2018.

The event will emanate from King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. So far, the triple threat match for the Universal Championship is the only confirmed match for the event. The match was made the night after Hell in a Cell.

Strowman cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase at Hell in a Cell this year.  His match with Roman Reigns was thrown out, however, due to interference from Brock Lesnar.

Braun Strowman Sends Warning To Roman Reigns, Ronda Rousey On Alexa Bliss’ Attack

Braun Strowman Sends Warning To Roman Reigns

This week’s episode of Monday Night RAW in New Orleans, LA at the Smoothie King Center on the USA Network served as the go-home show for the WWE Hell in a Cell PPV event. The closing segment of the show saw WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns confront Braun Strowman, which ended with them brawling, and Reigns connecting with Samoan Drop from the announcer’s table through the stage. After the show had gone off the air, Strowman took to Twitter to react to the spot as well as send him a warning by writing the following:

“It’s gonna take more than that to put me down…. you have everything to fear and NO ONE to protect you. The #UniversalTitle will be MINE! #HIAC”

Rousey is slated to defend the RAW Women’s Title against Bliss at the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view event that takes place on Sunday, September 16, 2018 in San Antonio, Texas at the AT&T Center on the WWE Network and some traditional pay-per-view outlets. Following the show, WWE’s YouTube channel released this interview of Rousey reacting to the attack, which you can see here.

Corey Graves Reveals How The Shield Got Out Of Jail On RAW

On Monday’s RAW, tensions between The Shield and Braun Strowman’s new faction continued to grow. Strowman has now aligned himself with RAW Tag Team Champions Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre. He has now evened the odds against Roman Reigns and The Shield. Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose came to Reigns’ aid when Strowman attempted to cash-in his Money In The Bank (MITB) briefcase.

Now, Strowman will get his one-on-one shot at Reigns’ Universal Title inside Hell In A Cell. As we build to that, however, The Shield continue to feud with Strowman, Ziggler and McIntyre. This week the two factions collided to open up RAW.

Acting General Manager Baron Corbin ushered out the entire locker room to separate the six men. They continued to fight into the backstage area, but eventually The Shield were arrested and taken away for most of the show.

Towards the end of the night, Michael Cole announced that The Shield had been released from jail. They returned in a cop car and made their way to the ring to meet Strowman, McIntyre and Ziggler.

Before that could happen, however, all the heels in the locker room came out to ambush The Shield. The show went off-air as Rollins, Reigns and Ambrose laid lifeless on the floor.

The Explanation

Several days removed from RAW, we finally have an explanation as to how The Shield got out of jail. Corey Graves took to Twitter and suggested that WWE’s David Otunga phoned in a friend in the legal community to get The Shield released.

Here’s Graves’ Tweet:

Braun Strowman decided to take to his official Twitter account to brag about beating down The Shield (WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, and Seth Rollins) on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW in Columbus, OH at the Schottenstein Center on the USA Network.

Strowman, who is set to challenge Reigns for the Universal Title at the upcoming Hell in a Cell pay-per-view, wrote the following about the segment:

“The worst is yet to come!!!!! Cause all you have done is woken a sleeping giant and filled him with terrible resolve!!!! #MondayNightRaw is my YARD now!!!!! I am the HAMMER and with my pack we will smash the shield!!!”

Kevin Owens Teases Return On Tonight’s RAW

Kevin Owens has gone into hiding after his loss at SummerSlam.

“KO” was last seen being squashed by Braun Strowman at “The Biggest Party Of The Summer.” Strowman had been torturing the former Universal Champion for weeks. Owens talked his way into a match with Strowman at SummerSlam.

Had Owens won, he would’ve won Strowman’s Money In The Bank (MITB) briefcase. However, Strowman absolutely demolished Owens with ease in Brooklyn. He wasn’t featured on the next night’s episode of RAW.

Tonight is the perfect opportunity for Owens to come back to the show. Owens would be returning in front of his native Canadian crowd. RAW is in the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada tonight.

Owens Tweeted out the following hours away from the show:

https://twitter.com/FightOwensFight/status/1034146936352395267

https://twitter.com/FightOwensFight/status/1034168466658471936

It should also be noted that Owens wiped out his Twitter feed. All past Tweets and replies have been deleted. Last week he changed his profile picture to black and his bio reads “back to darkness.”

Should Owens return on RAW tonight it should be interesting to see in what capacity he’ll be used. Perhaps a Universal Title run is in his sights.

Discussion: Do you think Owens will return on tonight’s RAW? If so, what do you think he’ll be doing? Let us know in the comments below!

Braun Strowman Challenges Roman Reigns To Match On Monday’s RAW

Braun Strowman has made the challenge to WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns for a match next week. The big storyline on the flagship show of the WWE, Monday Night Raw, started at the WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view event in Brooklyn, New York at the Barclays Center once he came out and stated that he would cash-in his Money in the Bank briefcase after Universal Title match between then-champion Brock Lesnar and Reigns.

He was unable to get that chance as Lesnar took him out. This led to Reigns beating Lesnar to win the title. Moving along to the next night, Reigns successfully defend his title against Finn Balor in the main event. Once the match had concluded, Strowman attempted to cash-in but Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins prevented Strowman from cashing in his Money in the Bank title shot.

This led to The Shield attacking the fan favorite superstar and power bombing him through the announce table.

Now, Strowman took to his official Twitter account to issue the challenge to the WWE Universal Champion to a match with the title being on the line on this Monday’s episode of RAW in Toronto, Canada at the Scotiabank Arena. He wrote the following:

“I don’t need to surprise you to cash in #MITB. I promised to do it face to face. Face me in the middle of your “yard” on #Raw, Roman. And if you’re really a man you’ll come alone. #MonsterInTheBank.”

* Jeff Hardy vs. Randy Orton

* Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose vs. Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre

More On The Shield’s Return On RAW

The Shield’s return on RAW last night really took a lot of WWE fans by surprise.

Roman Reigns was defending his Universal Championship against Finn Balor in the night’s main event. In the middle of the match, Braun Strowman hit the ring with his Money In The Bank (MITB) briefcase. He intended to cash-in on the match’s winner.

Reigns was able to pick up the win on a distracted Balor, after hitting him with a Spear. Strowman then got into the ring and downed Reigns with a big boot to the chest. Just before the referee could ring the bell to begin the match, The Shield’s music hit.

Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose, dressed in their old Shield gear, came out to Reigns’ aid. The trio attacked Strowman and hit him with a Triple Powerbomb through the announce table. For the time being, it looks like The Shield is back together.

Reigns took to Twitter shortly after the show to comment on The Shield’s reunion:

Another interesting note, The Shield’s old Twitter account has resurfaced again. It had been two years since their last Tweet – until today. The account retweeted and commented on WWE’s photo of the trio’s reunion last night:

Discussion: What do you think about The Shield’s return on RAW last night? What do you make of their Twitter account resurfacing? And how long do you see the reunion lasting? Sound off in the comments below!

Braun Strowman Warns The Shield, WWE Announces Several NXT Events

Braun Strowman Warns The Shield

As seen on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw in Brooklyn, New York at the Barclays Center on the USA Network, The Shield (WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, WWE Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose) reunited. Ambrose and Rollins prevented Braun Strowman from cashing in his Money in the Bank title shot on Reigns following his win over Finn Balor.

After the match, Strowman took to his official Twitter account where he sent out the following warning to the group by writing, “I’ve destroyed you all by myself before. All three of you have started a war you can’t finish. That title is MINE!!! #BreakTheShield #Raw.”

Braun Strowman Has New Target, Seth Rollins Give Credit To Dean Ambrose

Braun Strowman Has New Target

Plans didn’t go accordingly for Braun Strowman at Sunday’s (August 19, 2018) WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view event in Brooklyn, New York at the Barclays Center on the WWE Network as he thought he would be walking out of the arena as the new Universal Champion.

Prior to the Universal Title match between then-champion Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns that ended up serving as the main event, Strowman came out and stated that he would cash-in his Money in the Bank briefcase after this match. However, that would not take place as Lesnar took him out. Reigns closed the show by celebrating in the ring. Following the match, Strowman tweeted that he has a new target in mind to cash-in his MITB briefcase.

“Objective remains the same. New target acquired. I still have my contract and someone is gonna get these hands. #SummerSlam.”

Seth Rollins Give Credit To Dean Ambrose

WWE’s YouTube channel has released a new interview where Mike Rome talks with newly crowned WWE Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins about his big win over Dolph Ziggler at SummerSlam with Dean Ambrose in his corner.

In the interview, Rollins noted that he wouldn’t be champion if it wasn’t for Dean Ambrose being in his corner and taking out Drew McIntyre.
