Daily Drop (4/24): AEW Women’s Locker Room Speaks Out, Unexpected Bray Wyatt Tribute Appears, New NXT Champion Crowned

Welcome to the Daily Drop for Wednesday, April 24, 2024. WWE NXT brought Spring Breakin’ Week One last night, and there is a lot to unpack all over the pro wrestling world.

Before we get started, we must acknowledge Trick Williams, the new NXT Champion. He made it to the top of NXT during Spring Breakin’ Week One, as he toppled Ilja Dragunovfrom his seemingly unbeatable perch on top of the NXT brand. Triple H also responded to William’s historic win, where he praised the new NXT Champion.

WWE:

No More No-Competes: In a landmark decision handed down on Tuesday, all non-compete contracts in the United States are banned. The Federal Trade Commission voted 3-2 to ban non-compete agreements for all workers, with the new rules effective in the next 120 days. We will keep a very close eye on this story, because WWE Superstars are considered independent contractors and not full-fledged employees. Needless to say, this could dramatically change how WWE contracts are handled.

Cameron Grimes’ Release: The former NXT North American Champion’s name was added to the recent list of released Superstars. He hadn’t appeared on WWE television in a very long time, so this cut wasn’t a massive surprise. He let everyone know about this with an emotional video message on Twitter/X. Matt Hardy, who has known Grimes since he was literally born, has been incredibly supportive on social media.

Jey Uso Speaks On WrestleMania 40 Match: While speaking to the Gorilla Position, Jey Uso opened up a bit about his match against Jimmy Uso at WrestleMania 40. He knows that some people were disappointed by the match, and he felt like he let some fans down by how their contest turned out.

“I just said this to someone. I kinda felt like we did let the people down. [Really, you feel that?] Yeah, man, cuz I wanted to go out there and have a straight up banger too. I wanted to do the wrestling part but let alone make sure the emotion part is there. It was just a time issue. You know what I’m saying? You just gotta play your position on the team. That’s what happened. I’m still happy though, uce, I got a singles match at WrestleMania with my brother. That’s a big picture. So, I’mma always have me and him in a face-off at WrestleMania. I’mma frame a picture, that’s always, it’s marked off our box.”

NXT Spring Breakin’ Week 2: The NXT brand announced a packed card for next week’s Spring Breakin’ show on 4/30. That included an NXT Tag Team Title match.

WWE NXT 4/30 Card:

  • NXT North American Champion Oba Femi defends against Ivar
  • NXT Tag Team Champions Nathan Frazer & Axiom defend against Akam & Rezar
  • NXT Underground match: Natalya (w/Karmen Petrovic) vs. Lola Vice (w/Shayna Baszler)
  • Thea Hail vs. Jacy Jayne
  • Tyson Dupont & Tyriek Igwe debut

Raven Shoots Hard: Raven had a lot to say about how Hulk Hogan treated him. He also shared a story or two about drugs in the pro wrestling business. You may check out the entire interview from Ten Count Media below.

Bray Wyatt Tribute: At the Cage Warriors 171 event in Glasgow, Scotland, MMA fighter Chris Bungard honored the Eater of Worlds with a tribute. Bungard entered the arena dressed in Bray’s signature Wyatt Family look, complete with hat and shirt. He also sang “The Whole World in His Hands,” a children’s song that was long-associated with the late WWE legend.

AEW:

AEW Dynamite 4/24 card:

  • Jon Moxley vs. Powerhouse Hobbs – IWGP World Heavyweight Championship match
  • Swerve Strickland vs. Kyle Fletcher – AEW World Championship Eliminator match
  • Mina Shirakawa vs. Anna Jay
  • Willow Nightingale’s Championship Celebration
  • Chris Jericho to speak
  • Chuck Taylor to choose between Orange Cassidy and Trent Beretta

Kenny Omega’s Return: Although he is still out of action with diverticulitis, Kenny Omega is being advertised for the May 1 episode of Dynamite in Winnipeg. The past we heard, Omega may need surgery, so we will have to see how they use Omega, if he can make the show in his home city.

AEW Women’s Division Speaks Out: Saraya uploaded a third video, which she claims will be the final edition, with the AEW Women’s Division letting fans know what it’s like to be a female wrestler. A lot of the information from this video pertains to creepy fan behavior.

AEW Collision Viewership: The April 20th edition of AEW Collision attracted an average overnight viewership of 461,000 viewers, maintaining a rating of 0.13 in the 18 to 49 demographic. This represents an increase from the previous show, which had 442,000 viewers and the same demographic rating of 0.13.

Upcoming PPV’s and PLE’s:

Here are the upcoming major wrestling events

  • Saturday, May 4: WWE Backlash France (PLE)
  • Sunday, May 26: NXT Battleground (PLE)
  • Sunday, May 26: AEW Double or Nothing (PPV)

Bray Wyatt Statues Revealed At WWE World, Uncle Howdy’s Return Teased at Panel

Two new statues of the late Bray Wyatt have been unveiled at the WWE World convention taking place in Philadelphia, PA ahead of WWE WrestleMania 40.

Bray Wyatt tragically passed away in August of 2023 after being pulled from programming earlier that year. The three-time WWE World Champion was 36 years old and tributes have poured in for Wyatt ever since.

At WWE World, WWE unveiled two statues of the late wrestler. One depicts Wyatt from his 2022 return to WWE, holding a lantern and a mask. The second depicts Wyatt during his time as ‘The Fiend’ which was a hit with audiences from 2019 until his WWE release in 2021. It also features a Fiend-inspired lantern.

The Return of Uncle Howdy

At WWE World, a panel was hosted highlighting the life and career of Wyatt. The panel included some of the people who knew Bray best, including Big E, Natalya, Seth Rollins, Charlotte Flair, The Undertaker, his widow JoJo Offerman, and Wyatt’s brother Bo Dallas, among others.

The panel proved to be an emotional event for the guests and the fans and there was a tease at the very end of the festivities. On a screen, a video was shown, teasing the return of Uncle Howdy.

Dallas played Uncle Howdy on WWE TV shortly after Wyatt’s return to the promotion in 2022. It’s unclear when or how WWE will reintroduce the Howdy character to TV. During the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony, Bo and his sister Mika paid tribute to Wyatt during their induction speech for the US Express.

Watch: Bray Wyatt Acknowledged With Touching Tribute At WWE Hall of Fame 2024

A heart-touching tribute was rightfully paid to the late WWE Superstar Bray Wyatt (Windham Rotunda) at the WWE Hall of Fame 2024 Induction ceremony.

In an emotional segment, the Rotunda Family honored Bray Wyatt, who tragically passed away in August last year. While Wyatt was not inducted, his father, Mike Rotunda, alongside Barry Windham was inducted as part of the U.S. Express.

Tribute to Bray Wyatt

Wyatt’s real-life brother, Taylor Rotunda (better known as Bo Dallas in WWE) and his sister Mika Rotunda did the honors of inducting the legendary U.S. Express into the Class of 2024. During the segment, they paid homage to Wyatt.

“We would be remiss not to take a moment not to acknowledge Windham Rotunda, also known as Bray Wyatt. He should also be standing on this stage with us tonight. He may not be on this stage. But we know he’s here.”

After the speech concluded, Mike Rotunda urged the fans to join him and light up their phones like Wyatt’s entrance. This was a fitting tribute to the late superstar.

“I wish that our son Windham could have been here, he would have liked to see his old man go in the Hall of Fame.”

The segment concluded with Mike and the crowd lighting up their phones with Bray Wyatt’s entrance song playing in the background.

This year’s class included Paul Heyman, U.S. Express, Bull Nakano, Muhammed Ali and Thunderbolt Patterson. There had been talks of Bray Wyatt possibly being inducted into this year’s Hall of Fame Class but that didn’t happen.

Bray Wyatt’s legacy

Wyatt gained massive success when he revamped his persona as the leader of the Wyatt Family back in NXT. The character would lead him to great heights after joining the main roster where he won the WWE Championship and WWE Universal Championship.

Eventually, he debuted his popular ‘Fiend’ gimmick which was widely well-received by the fans. However, he was released by the company in 2021 but would go on to make his comeback the following year.

In his returning match, Wyatt defeated LA Knight in a Mountain Dew Pitch Black Match at Royal Rumble last year. Unfortunately, it was his final match before passing away.

Bray Wyatt is not with us anymore, but his legacy will live on forever.

WWE Drops Deliberate Tease For Bo Dallas’ Return

Bo Dallas was Uncle Howdy alongside Bray Wyatt, and the two had a lot of plans in motion. Sadly, those creative plans never came to pass as Bray Wyatt was taken from us far too soon. Now, there could be hope that Dallas will be back.

WWE still has Bo Dallas under contract, and he has been so since 2022 when he returned. Now, a new report has given fans hope that hey might see him again.

Bo Dallas’ Possible WWE Return

Although Bo Dallas has not been seen on WWE television since donning the Uncle Howdy mask, a new report from Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select gives fans hope that he may be used on television again soon enough.

The end of the new Bray Wyatt documentary included a bit of a teaser, and it appears that it was for Bo Dallas.

In the final moments of the newly released Bray Wyatt documentary, viewers encounter familiar imagery. The video concludes with a signature ominous style reminiscent of Bray Wyatt, featuring a lantern panning out, followed by a voice commanding “run,” and the silhouette of a figure.

https://twitter.com/joelarias24/status/1774789529582334318

It is now reported that the teaser was indeed referring to Bo Dallas. At this time, we don’t have any expected return time for him, because they didn’t want to rush things.

WWE sources have told Fightful it’s a teaser for Bo Dallas’ eventual return. We don’t know when that will be, but that it was a deliberate inclusion. We also haven’t learned what a return could look like as of yet. One WWE rep noted to Fightful months ago that they didn’t want to rush Dallas back after the untimely passing of his brother Bray Wyatt. Dallas has remained under WWE contract since 2022.

Bray Wyatt: Becoming Immortal

Bray Wyatt left a legion of fans and untold stories behind. Sadly, he will never get to see those come to pass, but there may be a chance that Bo Dallas could return in some form, perhaps even as Uncle Howdy, to help tell some of those tales.

That new documentary is also reportedly tied to why Wyatt was not given an induction into the 2024 WWE Hall of Fame.

We will have to see what WWE has prepared for Bo Dallas. He was heavily featured in the documentary, “Bray Wyatt: Becoming Immortal” that debuted on Peacock and the WWE Network on April 1.

SEScoops will have more on this story if there are any updates. Please keep checking back throughout the day for more headlines!

The Undertaker Believes Bray Wyatt Should Have Broken His WrestleMania Streak

The world lost Bray Wyatt last year, and we are still in mourning. The Eater of Worlds racked up many accolades throughout his career, but The Undertaker believes he deserved one more.

The Undertaker expressed his belief that Bray Wyatt was the most suitable candidate to end his WrestleMania streak. He felt that it would have been more impactful for Wyatt’s career compared to Roman Reigns. The Undertaker highlighted the similarities between their characters and the dark themes, indicating that Wyatt breaking the streak would have been significant.

Bray Wyatt Should Have Broken The Streak

Brock Lesnar famously broke The Undertaker’s undefeated WrestleMania streak in New Orleans at Mania XXX. That was a devastating blow for some fans, but Taker believes that someone else should have broken it instead.

On his Patreon page, The Undertaker said that Bray Wyatt was the most suitable candidate to end his WrestleMania streak. He felt that it would have been more impactful for Wyatt’s career compared to Roman Reigns.

The most logical person to break it would have been Bray Wyatt. Probably of the three, it would have meant more to his career than even Roman’s. For Roman, it would have been very special but for Bray, there were so many comparisons between the two characters and the darkness and the different things.

For him to be able to have broke it would have been such a feather in his cap and in something that would have prob probably could have extended the, the character of the Undertaker in, in a different capacity.

You know, I mean, Bray would have been the, the in ring aspect of it, but I think that those characters would have somehow maybe merged together in some kind of higher power type deal. But I think of, of all the people that it would have helped, the most, I think Bray would have been the guy. He’s the only one.

The Undertaker went on to say that he didn’t want to put himself over too much, nor put himself on a pedestal, but he believes the honor of breaking his streak should have gone to Bray Wyatt instead.

Bray Wyatt in the WWE Hall of Fame

While it was thought that Bray Wyatt would receive an induction in the WWE Hall of Fame this year, that is not happening. The company is honoring his legacy with a new documentary: Bray Wyatt: Becoming Immortal, which will debut on April 1.

Regarding Bray Wyatt’s future WWE Hall of Fame induction, Mike Rotunda commented that he feels it is too soon to induct his son at this time. This yea will still see the family honored, as the U.S. Express are receiving an induction.

SEScoops will have more on this story, and so many more in the pro wrestling world. Please keep checking back throughout the day for more updates!

Seth Rollins & Cody Rhodes Honor Bray Wyatt At Springfield, IL WWE Live Event

Cody Rhodes & Seth Rollins honored Bray Wyatt at a recent WWE live event in a touching tribute to the late WWE World Champion.

The event in Springfield, IL saw Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins get some training in a a tag-team ahead of WrestleMania 40. The pair united to defeat The Bloodline’s Solo Sikoa & Jimmy Uso.

After the match, Rhodes pointed out that there were a lot of ‘fireflies’ in the arena, which sparked more fans to join in. Rollins went on to say that while fans love singing his song, he wouldn’t mind if they sang “for Windham.” This led to a rendition of ‘He’s got the Whole World in His Hands’ by the fans.

WWE’s Wyatt Tributes

This tribute to Bray Wyatt was not the first, nor will it be the last celebration of the late wrestler. Last December, Rollins paid tribute to Bray at a WWE live event. He also paid tribute to Brodie Lee, who died in December 2020.

Following Wyatt’s passing in August 2023, Rollins fixed Bray-inspired sideplates to his World Heavyweight Championship. Wyatt became a three-time World Champion before his untimely death.

A new documentary about the life and career of the late wrestler will release next month. You can check out a trailed for what’ll no doubt be a gripping documentary below.

Bray Wyatt’s 2024 WWE Hall of Fame Absence Tied to Peacock Documentary

WWE has announced their Hall of Fame inductees for this year, and Bray Wyatt’s name isn’t on the list.

This year’s WWE Hall of Fame will mark the first year after TKO’s takeover. It will also be the first class that is chosen without any input from Vince McMahon.

Wyatt’s absence from this year’s WWE Hall of Fame induction is related to WWE’s upcoming ‘Bray Wyatt: Becoming Immortal’ Peacock documentary, which  premieres on April 1.

Hall of Fame Absence

Bray Wyatt was once thought to be a lock for this year’s Hall of Fame class, but his father Mike will be the only Rotunda family member inducted in Philadelphia.

This week’s Wrestling Observer newsletter states WWE sources indicate the decision to pass on inducting the Eater of Worlds  may have influenced by the Peacock doc.

“[It] had something to do with the decision not to induct Wyatt into the Hall of Fame this year, that this year they were doing the big documentary for him and would induct him later.”

WWE reportedly has plans to induct him at a later date, but it was not noted when he will receive this honor.

Bray Wyatt: Becoming Immortal

The new Peacock project, a documentary titled “Bray Wyatt: Becoming Immortal,” set to premiere on April 1st, is receiving a big spotlight.

The Undertaker is slated to provide narration for the documentary. Interviews have been conducted with Wyatt’s family, as well as with such names like Hulk Hogan, John Cena, Becky Lynch, Triple H, Alexa Bliss, and Bo Dallas, along with archival footage from various points in his career.

WWE owns every moment of Bray Wyatt’s time in a pro wrestling ring. He did not appear for any other company during the time between his 2021 release and his Extreme Rules 2022 comeback. You can watch the trailer below.

2024 WWE Hall of Fame

Paul Heyman was the first to be revealed as part of the WWE Hall of Fame’s class of 2024. The US Express (Mike Rotunda & Barry Windham) and Bull Nakano were later confirmed. Thunderbolt Patterson then joined this year’s group along with Muhammad Ali in the celebrity wing.

The Rock will reportedly have a hand in having his grandmother, Lia Maivia, inducted this year as well. It was previously reported that Haku was a strong possibility, but his name has not been announced.

The 2024 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony will air on April 5th after SmackDown, one night before WrestleMania 40 kicks off.

Erick Rowan: WWE Hall of Fame Induction for The Wyatt Family Is Premature

The WWE Hall of Fame has inducted a few stables into their halls of history. It seems only natural that the Wyatt Family will eventually receive that honor, but Erick Rowan believes it is too early for that.

The 2024 WWE Hall of Fame is set to include Paul Heyman, Bull Nakano, The U.S. Express (Barry Windham and Mike Rotunda), Muhammad Ali, and Thunderbolt Patterson. Lia Maivia is also expected as an inductee this year, but Bray Wyatt is still absent, along with the Wyatt Family.

Bray Wyatt’s Legacy

Since Bray Wyatt’s passing last year, the WWE Universe has urged the company to acknowledge The Wyatt Family. Now, Erick Rowan, one of the group’s members, has addressed the rumors and speculation.

It was thought that Wyatt would be a likely lock for this year’s WWE Hall of Fame ceremony. At this time, he has not had his name called. One would argue that Wyatt deserves three inductions, one for himself, with The Wyatt Family, and another as The Fiend, because that character broke out of the pro wrestling bubble as well.

Led by The Eater of Worlds, The Wyatt Family engaged in battles against notable opponents like The Shield and John Cena, etching a significant legacy in WWE. Despite fans and his peers advocating for Wyatt or the group’s Hall of Fame induction this year, it seems unlikely to happen this time.

During an interview with Counted Out, the former SmackDown Tag Team Champion commented on the fan-driven campaign, noting that it reflects the impact Wyatt and Harper had on people’s lives.

“I wouldn’t even begin to think about it [who would induct us]. It’s so soon since everything, with the passings and to even think about something like that, is just ridiculous to me, but I’m holding a tiny microphone talking to you about this, I feel ridiculous in that sense as well. So it’s just not something that really crossed my mind.”

2024 WWE Hall of Fame

On March 4, 2024, Paul Heyman was revealed as the inaugural inductee. Heyman had previously declined WWE’s proposal due to his active wrestling career but accepted the honor in 2024 due to WrestleMania’s location in Philadelphia.

The following day, Triple H announced Bull Nakano as the second inductee. Then, on March 8, The U.S. Express (Barry Windham and Mike Rotunda) were named as the next inductees, and on March 11, Muhammad Ali was announced as an inductee into the Celebrity Wing. Finally, on March 13, Thunderbolt Patterson was revealed as the fifth inductee.

The Rock is expected to have a hand in his grandmother, Lia Maivia, receiving an induction this year as well. As of this writing, Maivia has not been officially announced.

It only makes sense that Bray Wyatt will receive a WWE Hall of Fame induction, and quite possibly the Wyatt Family as well, but they may have to wait. Bray Wyatt’s upcoming documentary, Bray Wyatt: Becoming Immortal, will drop on April 1st. We will have full coverage of the program here at SEScoops.

WWE’s Bray Wyatt Documentary Narrated by The Undertaker Premieres April 1 on Peacock (Trailer)

Bray Wyatt left a lasting legacy on so many, and now WWE is remembering him with a new documentary project. We heard rumors that they were shooting something, and now fans are set to see what the company was working on to remember the Eater of Worlds.

Bray Wyatt: Becoming Immortal, narrated by The Undertaker, will explore the career of Bray Wyatt, featuring interviews with family members and WWE Superstars. Premiering on April 1, the documentary offers an intimate look at Windham’s rise to fame, and his amazing life.

WWE’s New Bray Wyatt Documentary

Bray Wyatt: Becoming Immortal, narrated by The Undertaker, will dive into the life and career of the late Windham Rotunda, better known as Bray Wyatt. The documentary features candid interviews with family members, WWE Superstars including Hulk Hogan, John Cena, Becky Lynch, Triple H, and his brother Taylor Rotunda, offering deep insights into his life and legacy.

The upcoming documentary will offer emotional and revealing perspectives. Fans will also see never-before-seen footage from the WWE archives.

Peacock Premium subscribers can access this documentary on April 1. It undoubtably be a very popular addition to the WrestleMania 40 week programming.

Bray Wyatt’s Legacy

Tragically, in August 2023, Windham Rotunda passed away at the age of 36, leaving behind a grieving family and a profound legacy that continues to inspire. The upcoming documentary captures the essence of Windham’s enduring impact on the wrestling world, celebrating his creativity and resilience while providing an intimate glimpse into his personal and professional life.

Premiering on April 1, directed by Steve Conoscenti, and featuring The Undertaker as the narrator, Bray Wyatt: Becoming Immortal is a compelling testament to the lasting mark left by Windham Rotunda within the WWE universe.

SEScoops will have more on this story, and so much more, as updates are made available. Keep checking back throughout the day for more of the headlines you need!

WWE Hall of Fame 2024: Bray Wyatt Likely Lock For Induction This Year

WWE’s Hall of Fame is getting a big focus, because they dropped several names this week. One name that is expected, is still missing, but Bray Wyatt’s flowers may still be on the way.

Paul Heyman was revealed as part of the WWE Hall of Fame’s class of 2024. The US Express (Mike Rotunda & Barry Windham) and Bull Nakano were also been confirmed, with Haku and Lia Maivia rumored as well. There is a very likely chance that Bray Wyatt will be announced for this year’s class, joining his father, Rotunda, and uncle, Windham.

2024 WWE Hall of Fame & Bray Wyatt

WWE has announced a few names for their 2024 WWE Hall of Fame so far. This will be the first year without Vince McMahon’s input, and Paul Heyman was the first name announced. More names are expected, and one of them could be the Eater of Worlds.

The pro wrestling world is still in mourning over the tragic loss of Bray Wyatt. He left JoJo Offerman and his children behind, along with so many incredible stories left to tell. As WWE announces their Hall of Fame inductees this year, fans are waiting for Wyatt’s name to be called.

“I’m surprised they haven’t announced Bray Wyatt,” Dave Meltzer remarked on Wrestling Observer Radio. It was then noted that the US Express are Wyatt’s father and uncle, so it would be clear synergy with the whole thing.

“It’s his family, you know, Barry’s his uncle, and Mike’s his dad, um so, maybe that’s part of the synergy. They should [induct Bray Wyatt] absolutely they should. He was the first guy I thought of when they were doing this year.”

We will have to see who has their name announced for the WWE Hall of Fame next. Honoring Bray Wyatt with a Hall of Fame induction only makes sense. If his name is added to this year’s lineup, then Triple H would have booked an incredible first class of the WWE Hall of Fame.

The Rock has a Say in 2024 WWE Hall of Fame

The Rock also has a say in the WWE Hall of Fame this year. It is reported that he is going to place is grandmother into this year’s class. They will apparently work Lia Maivia’s induction into his WrestleMania storyline.

Bray Wyatt’s Legacy in WWE

Bray Wyatt certainly deserves a WWE Hall of Fame induction, if not three. One for himself, another with the Wyatt Family faction, and a third as the Fiend, because that character stretched beyond the pro wrestling bubble. Hopefully, Wyatt gets his flowers during WrestleMania 40 weekend.

WWE signed Bray Wyatt to a Legends contract. They are also giving 100% of the proceeds of all of his merchandise to JoJo Offerman. There is also a new project about Wyatt in the works. The company continues to take care of Windham Rotunda’s family, so it’s very likely they will honor his legacy in the best way they can.

SEScoops will have more on this story, and so much more, as things progress down the road to WrestleMania. Keep checking back, because we will have Hall of Fame announcements posted as soon as they are officially revealed.

Dead Meat Pays Tribute to Bray Wyatt During Annual Horror Awards

The hit YouTube channel Dead Meet paid tribute to Bray Wyatt during its most recent Horror movie awards.

Wyatt, real name Windham Rotunda, passed away in August of last year at the age of 36. The three-time former WWE World Champion had returned to WWE at Hell in a Cell 2022 the previous October. He was pulled from programming in early 2023 due to an illness.

Bray Wyatt Honored

This month, the popular Dead Meat YouTube channel hosted its annual Horror Awards, celebrating the best (and most gruesome) moments from the world of Horror media in 2023. During the Awards, the channel paid tribute to those who died in 2023, celebrating those who had made an impact to the genre both on and off-screen. Rotunda was among the many who were paid tribute to, as seen in the video below.

It’s fitting to see Rotunda be memorialized in Dead Meat’s annual Horror Awards. Rotunda’s Wyatt character and reinvention as The Fiend in 2019 was praised by fans as the most legitimately frightening character portrayed in WWE in years. Rotunda had worked with horror effects legend Tom Savini to create the Fiend character. Wyatt had also been working on a horror film in the final years of his life

Who Are Dead Meat?

Dead Meat tallies up kills in horror films and other media in comedic, informative ‘Kill Count’ videos. The channel is hosted by James A. Janisse and Chelsea Rebecca, who also have their own Dead Meat Podcast. The pair’s YouTube channel boats over 2.6 billion views and over 6 million subscribers.

Janisse and Rebecca are wrestling fans and make no secret of their love for the industry. References to wrestling can be found in the Kill Count videos and the couple host a Horror Royal Rumble via a WWE 2K video game every January. Several WWE Superstars have made appearances on the channel as well.

WrestleMania Twist: John Cena Unveils WWE’s Shift in Firefly Fun House Match Plan With Bray Wyatt

WrestleMania is known for larger than life match-ups, and you never know what will happen on the grandest stage of them all. John Cena and Bray Wyatt made history in their Firefly Fun House match, but it turns out that they didn’t have a lot of time to prepare for things.

The pandemic halted a ton of plans for the entire world. Thankfully, WWE was able to figure out how to operate in Florida, a state that deemed pro wrestling as an essential service. All of that craziness surrounding logistics for WrestleMania 36 also only gave them three days to figure out what to do at the show of show with Cena and Wyatt.

WWE’s Original Plan For WrestleMania 36

John Cena recently spoke to Chris Van Vliet on Insight, where he revealed a lot of things. Not only did he admit that a heel turn was planned several years ago, but he even had new music and gear made up for that turn. Cena also revealed something very interesting about his confrontation with Bray.

That match against Bray Wyatt was actually supposed to be a standard match. The Firefly Fun House aspect was tacked on later, and they had to figure out what that match even was in a very short amount of time.

“I remember three days before we filmed the Firefly Fun House match. It was the last TV taping where they came in and they’re like, ‘You’re gonna have a Firefly Fun House match’, and I remember there were three people in one of the conference rooms in NXT with me. I said, ‘What’s a Firefly Fun House match?’ They said, ‘I don’t know.’ I said, ‘Great! What can we do’, and that was like, oh, man, again, control the controllable. I wish we had an audience. Performers are like. I wish there could be blood. I wish we could do chair shots to the head. I wish we could swear. I wish I could flip people off. Control the controllable. Use the tools in your tool belt. How do we make something entertaining over a two day period with no audience, and they gave us a stipulation.

Everybody else has a regular match and it’s your stip. It’s not a doctor of Thuganomics match or a Hustle, Loyalty, Respect match that’s completely different. You have these definitive characters. You have all this ammunition. You have all this personality and that’s what people really radiate towards. Holy sh*t. We can make this a meta look at my life and we can get away with it. What do we have up in the warehouse? We have the fist. We have the blue cage. I can get some NWO stuff. We can make this work. I remember this the only match I’ve ever written from start to finish. My poor wife, I made her print it out and I’m writing and giving her paper. She said, ‘What is this? What does it even mean?’ ‘Just print it. I need it’, and somewhere I still have the original draft in my handwriting of the Firefly Fun House. Bray couldn’t have been better.

He knew what was up and he knew the whole thing. I wrote it the night before so I’m trying to text these guys like, I got something weird. I think I might have a picture of the draft still in my phone. I don’t have it with me, but I have it saved as a text that I sent him the night of the match, especially after we saw The Undertaker’s match the night before. Oh, my man, they crushed it, and there was a whole lot more physicality. We got one punch and I texted him how nervous I was, but I wanted to thank him for being so brave and trusting me and I think I couldn’t have done any more. I think we gave it our best shot and hopefully, it works, and it was an effort that I am very proud of.”

Things worked out in the end, as John Cena got to work that whole match without any physicality until the final moments. Bray Wyatt also gave a fantastic performance throughout, adding another amazing highlight to his ingenious character.

John Cena’s Candid Interview

John Cena also revealed what he said to MJF during The Iron Claw premiere. He wanted to know when the Salt of the Earth might switch sides and play for WWE. Only time will tell if that actually happens any time soon.

Cena certainly made a ton of memories during his time in WWE, and he can speak candidly about that now. Sadly, Bray Wyatt passed away in August 2023, and the pro wrestling world is still mourning that great loss. At least, Cena was able to mix it up with the Eater of Worlds to create an unforgettable WrestleMania moment.

SEScoops will have continued coverage of this story, and so many more, so please keep checking back for updates!

Watch Bray Wyatt’s The Fiend Entrance In WWE 2K24

Next month, WWE will release its 2K24 video game. This year’s game will see Cody Rhodes rocking the cover of the title’s standard edition, while Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley share the front of the Deluxe Edition. 2K will also be releasing a special tribute to the upcoming 40th anniversary of WrestleMania with the Forty Years of WrestleMania Edition, which displays the likes of The Undertaker, John Cena, Shawn Michaels, and Becky Lynch on the cover.

As the anticipation continues to grow, WWE has provided a glimpse into some of the notable wrestler entrances featured in WWE 2K24. On Monday, the company released a video showcasing The Fiend’s entrance with the caption “Let. Him. In,” indicating that the spirit of Bray Wyatt will live on.

The Fiend In WWE 2K24

As expected, The Fiend, who was portrayed by the Windham Rotunda (aka Bray Wyatt), will don his signature mask that was crafted by Jason Baker of Callosum Studio. In addition to his spooky mask, The Fiend is wearing his signature leather jacket with his red and black striped pants. The Fiend can also be seen walking to the ring while carrying a replica of Bray Wyatt’s face designed in the form of a lantern.

Fans can see the full clip of The Fiend’s entrance below:

Bray Wyatt’s run as The Fiend spanned two years, beginning with its inception in 2019. Along his journey, The Fiend feuded with performers such as John Cena, Randy Orton, Goldberg, and Daniel Bryan. The spooky superstar is also known for recruiting Alexa Bliss into his Firefly Fun House.

Bray Wyatt sadly passed away in August 2023.

LA Knight Wishes He Wasn’t Bray Wyatt’s Last Match

LA Knight’s Pitch Black match with Bray Wyatt was the Megastar’s biggest match in WWE at the time, but he wishes it wasn’t Wyatt’s final match on TV.

At the 2023 Royal Rumble Premium Live Event, Wyatt defeated Knight in the Mountain Dew-sponsored match. The bout featured neon weapons and face paint. After the match, Wyatt would continue his attack on Knight, who was also attacked by Uncle Howdy.

LA Knight on the Pitch Black Match

Unfortunately, this would be Bray’s final wrestling match on WWE TV. A serious illness would see him pulled from TV weeks later and Wyatt would pass away in August at the age of 36. During a recent interview with “In The Kliq” podcast, Knight spoke about the match which he doesn’t try to dwell on given what came after.

“I don’t really think about it too, too much just because it’s a weird thing to consider and celebrate I guess, in a weird way. I wish I wasn’t his last match, so I think that’s really more the way I think about it.”

Despite the dark cloud that now surrounds the match, Knight was grateful that he had the chance to work with the late wrestler.

“That was an experience for me where that was an opportunity, and I don’t know that it was looked at as an opportunity in a lot of ways. I think it was just thought of as here’s a guy who can handle himself in this situation and help to put the spotlight on Bray and bring him back, as I did.

“But at the same time, man did I shine a light on myself as much as I could. If they gave me 30 seconds, if they gave me two minutes, no matter how much time I had on that TV screen, my God was I gonna make a splash.”

What Came Next?

Knight and Wyatt would continue their feud off TV. Their final match, which would be Bray’s last match ever, took place in a Lights Out Street Fight at an untelevised event in Rockford, Illinois, on February 26, 2023.

John Cena WWE 2K24 Post Reveals Possible Major Spoiler

WWE 2K24 has gamers excited about their next offering, and we can’t get enough of the teases. As more information is expected soon, John Cena is getting in on the fun.

John Cena’s Big WWE 2K24 Tease

John Cena sent out an Instagram post, and to follow along with his tradition, he didn’t include a caption. Then WWE Games quickly replied to the photo.

The comment only read: “1.22.2024 #WWE2K24.” That certainly sent the message that his photo was released to coincide with the upcoming game.

This post was also interesting because of the photo John Cena picked. The 16x World Champion dropped a photo of an NWO t-shirt hanging on a rack. The hanger on the rack also had the WWE 2K24 logo on it.

Deeper Possible Meaning Behind This Post

It was previously reported that the upcoming WWE 2K video game will be dedicated to Bray Wyatt’s career. If this is true, then John Cena’s photo makes so much more sense.

When we asked fans on our official Facebook page who should be the cover Superstar for WWE 2K24, Bray Wyatt was the runaway winner.

If Bray Wyatt is picked as the cover Superstar, then this tease from John Cena has a lot more weight to it.

Big Match John sported an NWO t-shirt while he was in the Firefly Fun House match against Bray Wyatt. If the new 2K game is dedicated to Wyatt, then perhaps fans may get to re-visit that moment in WWE history at WrestleMania 36.

Other Teases For WWE 2K24

The 2k team also sent out an Instagram post with a photo of a referee shirt. That wasn’t as interesting as the fact that they also tagged “Stone Cold” Steve Austin in the photo.

2K also dropped a very clear Undertaker tease. This got fans excited about whom the next tease will include.

When WWE 2K24 Will Be Released

The release date for WWE 2K24 remains undisclosed at this point, but we might receive this vital information within the next few days. The latest release in the series, WWE 2K23, became available on March 14th, 2023, offering gamers the chance to experience it on various platforms, including PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and Nintendo Switch.

WWE Started On Production For New Bray Wyatt Project

Bray Wyatt’s passing hit the pro wrestling like a ton of bricks. It still doesn’t feel real for many, as he is still missed to this day. Now, WWE is undertaking a new project to tell his story.

WWE’s New Bray Wyatt Project

WWE has embarked on a new Bray Wyatt project, but we don’t have a ton of details about it yet. PW Insider reports that this new project started within the past week, and Bo Dallas sat down for an interview.

Dallas, who was present in Pittsburgh for the filming, was reportedly joined by Jason Baker of Callosum Studio as well. Baker is well-recognized for crafting Wyatt’s Fiend mask.

Although this project could air on Peacock or A&E, currently, there is no confirmation on the project’s platform. We can only assume that wherever it lands, fans will tune in to see it.

What WWE Is Doing For Bray Wyatt’s Family

WWE has ensured comprehensive support for Bray Wyatt’s family following his passing. JoJo Offerman is receiving the entirety of the proceeds from all merchandise sales associated with him. The company made this commitment shortly after the news of his untimely departure became public.

WWE made Bray Wyatt an official legend by putting him under a contract that will ensure that his family is taken care of.

Bo Dallas remains under WWE contract, and it appears that he will play a role in this project celebrating his brother’s life. We have no word about any possibility of Uncle Howdy’s television return, and I have asked around, but there have never been any talks about that happening.

Bo Dallas’ WWE Contract Unaffected Despite Uncle Howdy’s Sudden Indefinite Absence

Bray Wyatt’s passing didn’t just rob the world of a great man, but so many mind-blowing creative moments also never came to pass. Wyatt was deep into an angle with his real-life brother, Bo Dallas under that Uncle Howdy mask, but even after Wyatt’s passing, Dallas is still with the company.

Bo Dallas’ WWE Status Revealed

When Bray Wyatt faced health problems last year, WWE removed him and his brother Bo Dallas from television. Initially, there was hope for their return together after Wyatt’s recovery. Sadly, this expectation was shattered when Wyatt passed away at 36 due to a heart attack during sleep.

PW Insider Elite has now confirmed that, despite being inactive, Dallas remains an employee of the company. He is still on their payroll, even though he is not booked in a current television storyline.

Bo Dallas had a 13-year run with WWE, ending in an April 2021 release due to budgetary cuts. His last in-ring appearance was in November 2019. Initially, WWE cited a lack of creative plans for his absence.

However, Dallas later revealed a broken neck, leading to his hiatus for recovery. His unexpected return in 2022 as Uncle Howdy surprised many fans.

While unconfirmed, it is reported that internal speculation suggests Wyatt, who had recently returned to WWE at the time, might have influenced Dallas’s re-hiring. Sadly, Howdy and Wyatt never had much time together in the ring.

Who is Bo Dallas?

Bo Dallas’ real name is Taylor Michael Rotunda. He is the son of WWE Hall of Famer Mike Rotunda, who wrestled as IRS, and the brother of Windham Rotunda, who we all knew as Bray Wyatt. That family connection continued until the end, as their Uncle Howdy storyline never had a chance to really play out as they envisioned it.

Dallas is still under WWE contract, but it’s unknown whether WWE will ever use the Uncle Howdy character again. I asked a couple of months ago when this rumor first surfaced, and I was told by multiple members of the creative team that, at the time, there is and was no talk of bringing Uncle Howdy back.

WWE Is Taking Care of Bray Wyatt’s Family

WWE has taken great care of Bray Wyatt’s family since his passing. JoJo Offerman is receiving 100% of the proceeds from all of his merchandise that they sell. The company made this declaration shortly after news of his passing broke.

Wyatt was also put under a Legends Contract to ensure that the company will continue providing for his family for a very long time to come.

Our thoughts are still with JoJo Offerman, Bray’s children, and his family. He is gone, but his name will live on forever.

Seth Rollins Gives Touching Tribute to Brodie Lee & Bray Wyatt at WWE MSG Event

Seth Rollins paid tribute to Brodie Lee and Windham ‘Bray Wyatt’ Rotunda in an emotional tribute in the closing moments of this week’s live event in Madison Square Garden

The December 26 event in the World’s Most Famous Arena has been a staple of WWE for years now and typically features a much bigger card compare to other untelevised shows. This year’s event proved to be no different, with CM Punk defeating Dominik Mysterio in his firstn WWE match since 2014. The show also saw Cody Rhodes defeat Shinsuke Nakamura in the first Bull Rope match in WWE since 2009. The match was Cody’s first Bull Rope match in WWE and the second of his entire career.

Seth Rollins’ Touching Tribute

In the main event of the show, Rollins retained the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Drew McIntyre in a No-DQ, No Count Outs match. Adressing the fans after the match, Rollins reflected on the death of Brodie Lee, who died on Boxing Day in 2020. Rollins also spoke about Rotunda, who died in August of this year

“On the 26th of December, a few years back, my good friend, our good friend Brodie Lee passed away. I miss him [fans chant Brodie]. And just a few months ago we lost Windham Rotunda as well. But earlier tonight when the lights were down, that’s right, I saw some fireflies out there in the Garden.

“Yeah, yeah, yeah man. So look, here’s the deal. They’re kicking me out of here. We’ve got a curfew but I’m not leaving this building until you guys light this place up with those fireflies and you sing my damn song so loud Brodie and Windham can hear you! Let’s go New York! [fans sing Rollins’ theme song] I love you forever, get home safe.

JoJo Offerman Posts Heartfelt Tribute to Bray Wyatt on Christmas

Christmas is a time to think of those we hold dear, even if they are not with us anymore. Bray Wyatt’s name is certainly being spoken today, as so many reflect, and those who knew him well are remembering the great man that the world lost.

Bray Wyatt made a much-hyped return to WWE television during Extreme Rules last year. That marked his triumphant comeback after being released in 2021.

Sadly, the program with LA Knight that transpired after that was his last match, as he was taken from us on August 24th, 2023.

Despite having so many possibilities upon Bray Wyatt’s return, those creative ideas will remain unfulfilled after his untimely passing.

JoJo Offerman’s Tribute to Bray Wyatt on Christmas

Bray Wyatt’s fiancée, JoJo Offerman, recently shared an emotional post reflecting on the challenges of spending the first Christmas after his demise. She penned a caption that shared her thoughts about losing the man she loved, and their Christmas traditions that she misses during this time.

JoJo Offerman also included a photo of herself, sitting with a glass of wine, while looking at a Christmas tree that was decorated with care. It was also impossible to miss the Bray Wyatt painting that was also placed over their fireplace, right above the family’s stockings.

”Merry Christmas Eve my love. It’s been 4 months without you and it still gets harder. Especially now, because Christmas was your thing. You LOVED going all out for the kids. You did the shopping and I did the wrapping. That was our routine. And you got the coolest shit I swear lol trying to do Christmas the way you would have has been so hard. And I’ve broken down every single day. I miss you so much. The kids miss you so much. We wish you were here. But I know you’re here in spirit and I hope I made you proud baby. I love you more than words Windham, forever.”

WWE is Taking Care of Bray Wyatt’s Family

Bray Wyatt’s sudden passing at the age of 36 deeply affected fans and the wrestling community. Four months later, and those wounds are far from healed after losing an absolute genius like Bray Wyatt.

JoJo Offerman has been transparent about her journey in coping with the profound loss, providing updates on her experiences. WWE has also taken great care of Bray Wyatt’s family, by giving him a Legends Deal, releasing a Legacy Collection of merchandise, and making sure that all proceeds go to JoJo Offerman.

Bray Wyatt is gone, but he is far from forgotten. We will have him in our hearts, as the whole world is still in his hands.

Watch: Bray Wyatt Has Posthumous Role in Diary Of A Wimpy Kid: Christmas Cabin Fever

Windham ‘Bray Wyatt’ Rotunda is no longer with us, but a new film from Disney has a brief cameo from the beloved wrestler.

Rotunda passed away in August of medical issues at the age of 36. He had been pulled from WWE programming earlier this year. His passing came less than a year after his well-received return to the promotion at Extreme Rules 2022 in October.

Bray Wyatt’s Cameo Role

Windham Rotunda is no longer with us but hasn’t been forgotten. This month, Disney+ released their new animated movie, Diary of a Wimpy Kid Christmas: Cabin Fever, which features a cameo role for the three-time WWE World ChampionHe voices a prison guard who appears around 43 minutes and 30 seconds into the movie. Rotunda is mentioned under his real name in the film’s credits. The special is available online now but you can check out Rotunda’s brief role in the tweet below.

Windham Rotunda Out of the Ring

This cameo role in Diary of a Wimpy Kid Christmas: Cabin Fever marks Rotunda’s sole entertainment appearance outside of the ring. Wyatt also appeared in several WWE video games and made his WWE game debut in WWE ’12 as Husky Harris. It wouldn’t be until WWE 2K15 that he would return to the virtual world as Bray Wyatt

Before his passing, Rotunda had been working on creating a movie with horror effects legend Jason Baker. The project was announced in 2021. Even after Wyatt’s return to WWE, Baker declared that the project was still in the works. Baker is the owner of Callosum Studios, which includes horror effects legend Tom Savini as a consultant. Callosum has helped create masks for WWE talent including Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, Retribution, the Bludgeon Brothers, Carmella, Nikki A.S.H, and the Fiend, and also designed Alexa Bliss’ Lilly doll.

WWE helping Bray Wyatt’s kids with posthumous legends deal

Bray Wyatt passed away on August 24th, 2023 at the age of 36-years-old. His loss was a tremendous loss for the entire pro wrestling world. WWE also lost a legend that day, and now that Legend status is official.

Bray Wyatt’s name will be remembered for generations to come, and WWE has taken care of his family so far. Now, there is even more assurance that WWE will continue paying tribute to Wyatt’s legacy while making sure JoJo Offerman and Bray Wyatt’s children are financially stable.

Bray Wyatt Is A WWE Legend

During a conversation on Wrasslin Talk, Mike Rotunda, the father of Bray Wyatt, discussed his son’s unfortunate passing and the enduring sense of loss felt by everyone. Rotunda also disclosed that WWE has placed Wyatt on a Legends contract, ensuring that his children will continue to receive the financial support they require.

“It’s been really hard. We miss him every day. [Gets choked up]. Growing up in the business, you always book stuff during the week because you’re going to be wrestling on the weekends and TV.”

“Windham and Jojo were supposed to get married yesterday. We miss Windham horribly, every day. Windham was the first one, and we would bring him on the road at six months old. They would come with me and stay on the road, wherever I was wrestling, and it’s so hard to wake up out of this nightmare, and he’s still not there. I have to give WWE credit. They’ve done awesome, helping our family out with a lot of different stuff. They put Windham on a Legends contract and all the proceeds go to…Windham has four children. Luckily, we have them.

WWE Takes Care of Bray Wyatt’s Family

WWE made a public announcement after Bray Wyatt’s passing that 100% of all proceeds for his merchandise is going to JoJo Offerman. That deal is apparently still in place, and with a Legends contract, it is very likely that honors for Bray Wyatt will continue.

Many fans are calling for Bray Wyatt’s induction into the 2024 WWE Hall of Fame. That would be a fitting tribute to his legacy. It is also incredibly likely, even though no names have been announced for the 2024 Class of the WWE Hall of Fame yet.

Bray Wyatt is gone, but his memory will live on. WWE will also never let that memory fade, as they continue speaking his name.

Our thoughts still go out to JoJo Offerman, and Bray Wyatt’s entire family. You can find WWE Shop’s Bray Wyatt Legacy Collision by visiting this link.

Seth Rollins Pays Tribute To Brodie Lee & Bray Wyatt During WWE Live Event In Rochester

The pro wrestling world has dealt with many tragedies over the years. Few have been as shocking and sudden as Brodie Lee’s passing. Now, as we get closer to another year without the former Exalted One from the Dark Order, tributes are pouring in. Of course, the loss of Bray Wyatt is still fresh on everyone’s minds as well, leaving half of the Wyatt Family gone.

Seth Rollins Pays Tribute To Brodie Lee and Bray Wyatt

Seth Rollins is the current WWE World Heavyweight Champion, and he is a locker room leader through and through. The Visionary demonstrated his camaraderie with the roster by paying homage to the late Bray Wyatt and Brodie Lee at a recent WWE house show.

During a WWE event in Rochester, a place with special significance to Brodie Lee as his hometown, Seth Rollins engaged with the audience’s passionate side. He asked if there were any fireflies in the crowd, prompting fans to take out their phones and illuminate the arena with their lights as a tribute to Wyatt. Rollins also paid homage to Brodie Lee by incorporating his signature “Yeah yeah yeah!” catchphrase into the tribute.

“The mood is set. Anybody got any fireflies among the audience tonight? I see a couple. I see a few now. This time of year loved ones are always on our minds, man, you know what I’m saying? Yeah yeah yeah!”

Brodie Lee and Bray Wyatt’s Legacy

Brodie Lee, who passed away on December 26th, 2020, due to idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, continues to be fondly remembered by anyone he ever met. Similarly, the sudden and untimely demise of Bray Wyatt at the age of 36 on August 24th, 2023, had a profound impact on fans and the wrestling community. The loss of two out of the four Wyatt Family members left fans in disbelief.

We will have to see how the pro wrestling world continues their tributes for Bray Wyatt and Brodie Lee. Rochester is certainly a special place for Brodie Lee, and Seth Rollins understood that all too well.

You can watch Seth Rollins’ tribute below, and keep coming back to SE Scoops for more of the pro wrestling world’s most important stories.

Braun Strowman Commends Bray Wyatt for Mastering the Art of Mic Work

Braun Strowman has nothing but praise for the late WWE superstar Bray Wyatt.

Bray Wyatt (Windham Rotunda) passed away at the age of 36. His premature demise sent shockwaves through the pro wrestling fraternity. An episode of SmackDown also featured tributes to Wyatt, including a ten-bell salute.

Wyatt was considered one of the most creative minds in pro wrestling and had unparalleled mic skills. Over the years his gimmicks evolved. ‘The Eater of Worlds’ introduced the Firefly Funhouse in 2019 when he portrayed a character similar to Mr. Rogers and presented himself as a children’s television presenter. However, the character had a dark secret, later revealed as The Fiend.

‘The Monster of All Monsters’ was part of the Wyatt Family led by Bray Wyatt back in the day. Later on they went on to have epic battles as rivals as well.

Speaking to Bill Apter for Sportskeeda, Braun Strowman stated why he believes Bray was one of the best on the mic. Here is what he said:

“Bray Wyatt was, in my opinion, the epitome of talking on a microphone with his character work, being able to go in and out of all these multiple characters, see his facial expressions change, hear his voice change.

I don’t know anyone who’s done it, other than Paul Heyman, who’s just been timeless with what he does as a manager and stuff like that. But he still doesn’t have the range and abilities to go through these multiple different characters that Bray had inside of his head. So in my opinion, it’s Bray Wyatt.

Strowman has been on the shelf since the Summer after undergoing neck fusion surgery. He is hoping to return at next year’s Royal Rumble match. You can check out his comments below:

Latest on Bray Wyatt’s WrestleMania 39 Status Amid ‘Physical Issue’

Will Bray Wyatt’s first WrestleMania since his return to WWE go ahead without the former Universal Champion?

Wyatt was controversially released from WWE in July 2021, with his final match being his WrestleMania 37 loss to Randy Orton.

The Eater of Worlds returned to WWE at last October’s Extreme Rules event in the climax of the ‘White Rabbit’ storyline.

WrestleMania Doubts

Ever since Elimination Chamber 2023, WWE has been teasing a WrestleMania match between Wyatt and Bobby Lashley.

Last Sunday, Wyatt did not appear as advertised for a WWE live event in Madison Square Garden, and it has been reported that he has been dealing with a physical issue.

During the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer answered questions about Wyatt’s status for WrestleMania.

“From what I understand, the match is still on for WrestleMania, and he should be back very soon. So we’ll see. But that’s pretty much all I can say, I mean there is something to it but I’m not at liberty to discuss it, but it’s not, as far as I know everything that I’ve been told is that it’s not a creative issue or anything like that.”

Dave Meltzer.

Lashley’s Match

Should Wyatt be forced to miss WrestleMania, that will leave Lashley without a dance partner, which does not sit well for the All-Mighty.

On Twitter, the two-time former WWE Champion has seemingly distanced himself from the Bray feud and has said he’ll fight anyone at WrestleMania.

Lashley is on a 2-2 record at WrestleMania since his return to WWE, losing in 2019 and 2020 but winning in 2021 and 2022.

Backstage Update on Bray Wyatt’s WWE Absence

Bray Wyatt missed Sunday’s WWE live event at Madison Square Garden where he was supposed to take on LA Knight in a match.

After the former WWE Champion missed the show, it led to fan concern regarding his status. He has also been absent from WWE television as of late, with his last appearance coming in the way of a muscle man video.

Fightful Select reports that after talking with those who have worked with Wyatt, he is currently sidelined with a “physical issue,” and they’re not sure about when he could return.

Rumors

There had been rumors that Wyatt walked out because of issues with creative, but as of this writing, the media outlet was unable to confirm that with anyone in the company.

Wyatt was slated to appear at other house shows and SmackDown episodes, but was pulled from those due to the issue. Although he has been sidelined, WWE has continued with the feud between Wyatt and Bobby Lashley.

At one point this weekend, Lashley wasn’t scheduled for Monday’s Raw. It should be noted that Wyatt and Uncle Howdy’s materials have not been sent to the site of SmackDown in the last two weeks. Also, Wyatt hasn’t been planned for those shows and is not scheduled for Raw.
