Ronda Rousey Captured The SmackDown Women’s Championship

Ronda ripped the baseball bat away from Liv and threw it out of the ring. Rousey connected with a knee strike and applied an Ankle Lock in the middle of the ring.

The champion escaped and knocked Ronda out of the ring. Rousey trapped Liv in the ring skirt and smacked her in the face. Liv sprayed Ronda in the face with a fire extinguisher but Rousey shrugged it off. Morgan leaped off the steel steps but Ronda bashed her with the baseball bat.

Back in the ring, Liv connected with an Enziguri and both stars fell to the canvas. The action spilled out of the ring and Ronda whipped Liv with a baseball bat a few times. Morgan sent Ronda into the steel steps and brought out a table from under the ring. Ronda trapped Liv in the ropes and applied a submission hold until they both fell to the floor.

Liv set up a chair between the turnbuckles but it accidentally fell to the floor. The champ called an audible and launched Rousey into the ring post for a near fall. Liv brought the chair back into the ring and bashed Rousey several times with it.

Morgan threw a chair and Ronda caught it. Liv hit Oblivion with the chair but Ronda somehow kicked out at two. Liv set up Ronda on the table and hit a Senton but Rousey wouldn’t stay down for three. Ronda locked in an Armbar but Liv wouldn’t tap out. Morgan passed out and Ronda Rousey won the SmackDown Women’s Championship. Liv smiled after losing the title and WWE’s social media accounts made note of it.

Karrion Kross Won The Strap Match

Drew McIntyre battled Karrion Kross in a Strap Match tonight at Extreme Rules. Scarlett accompanied Karrion to the ring for the match. Kross threw the strap down to the mat multiple times. Scarlett pulled on the strap to distract McIntyre and Karrion beat him down in the corner.

Drew followed it up with a Spinebuster and went for the cover but Kross kicked out at two. McIntyre set up for the Claymore Kick but Scarlett got into the ring. She sprayed something in McIntyre’s face and Karrion hit the Kross Hammer for the pinfall victory.

Bianca Belair Retained The RAW Women’s Title

Bianca Belair put the RAW Women’s Championship on the line against Bayley in a Ladder match tonight at WWE Extreme Rules. Bayley controlled the action early and connected with a Sunset Flip Powerbomb on top of a ladder. Back in the ring, Bayley took off a piece of her knee brace and went for a running knee strike.

Bianca got out of the way and Bayley crashed into the ring post. Belair followed it up with the KOD and made her way up the ladder. IYO SKY and Dakota Kai of Damage CTRL rushed the ring and shoved the ladder over.

Damage CTRL beat Bianca down and Bayley followed it up with the Rose Plant. The EST battled back and connected with a double KOD onto Damage CTRL. Bayley started climbing but Bianca shoved the ladder over and The Role Model crashed into the ropes. Bianca and Bayley battled on top of the ladder and traded punches.

The EST whipped Bayley with her hair before setting up another ladder. Belair hit Bayley with a KOD on top of a ladder. Bianca climbed to the top rope and grabbed the title to win the match. Bianca Belair is still the RAW Women’s Champion.

Finn Balor Won The I Quit Match After Judgment Day Interfered

Edge battled Finn Balor tonight in an I Quit match at Extreme Rules. Balor came to the ring with an odd mask on.

Finn got Edge in a Figure Four early but Edge refused to give up. Edge reversed the hold but Balor was able to escape. Finn trapped Edge in the ring skirt and stomped on him several times. Balor smashed Edge’s face off the announce table a couple of times but The Rated-R Superstar refused to quit.

The action spilled out of the ring and Edge sent Finn through the barricade with a Spinebuster. Edge brought Balor into the crowd and the two battled on the Kickoff Show set. Edge bashed Finn with a hockey stick and applied a Crossface with it.

Balor escaped and dominated the next couple of minutes of the match. Finn bashed Edge over and over with a steel chair but he still refused to quit. Judgment Day tied Edge up and beat him down but Beth Phoenix arrived and made the save. Rey helped out too but Judgment Day beat him down. Edge unloaded a bunch of Spears and broke off a rung of the steel chair. Rhea put on brass knuckles and punched Beth in the face with them. Rhea then threatened to hit Beth with a chair in the head and Edge quit. Rhea hit Beth with the con-chair-to anyway and Edge was despondent after the match.

Matt Riddle def. Seth Rollins, Bray Wyatt Returned

Seth Rollins battled Matt Riddle in a Fight Pit match with UFC legend Daniel Cormier as the special guest referee. Rollins dominated the match early but Riddle battled back with a flurry of strikes in the corner. Riddle went for an RKO but Seth dodged it. Rollins planted Riddle with the Stomp.

Rollins went for another Stomp but Riddle got out of the way. Seth climbed up the cage and onto the platform above. Riddle followed him up there and Seth bashed Matt’s face into the steel several times. Seth followed it up with a Pedigree but Riddle responded with an RKO and Seth fell to the canvas below.

Matt connected with a Broton onto Seth Rollins below. Riddle applied a Triangle submission and wouldn’t let go after Seth hit several Powerbombs onto the steel cage. Rollins couldn’t break free and tapped out. As Daniel Cormier and Riddle posed on the entrance ramp, the lights in the arena went out.

“He’s got the whole world in his hands” played as the cell phone lights lit up the arena. A chubby guy in a pig outfit was shown in the crowd. His other puppets in human form were shown standing in the crowd. The camera’s cut to the Firefly Funhouse with all the puppets dead and music playing. A masked man asked “Who killed the world?” and answered “YOU DID”.

A door kicked down and a man with a lantern was seen walking toward the door. The crowd chanted “holy sh*t!” as Bray took the mask off. Wyatt blew out the lantern to close the show as the crowd erupted.

Bray Wyatt Returns to WWE at Extreme Rules

At WWE Extreme Rules, the company revealed that The White Rabbit was indeed Bray Wyatt.

The lights went out after the main event before we heard Wyatt singing he’s got the whole wide world in his hands. We saw people dressed up as puppets from the Firefly Fun House placed throughout the arena. There was a door on the stage, and we went through a haunted house with the fun house music playing. We see a man with a mask on a TV laughing, then the door opens withWyatt appearing and he had a lantern. Wyatt took off the mask and turned off the lantern.

There had been various fan theories about the mystery and clues left behind by various QR codes. WWE had also played the song at live events. The belief had been that it could have something to do with Karrion Kross, but all indications pointed to the return of Wyatt.

Fightful previously reported that the reveal behind the mysterious thing on WWE television would be revealed at this show.

Wyatt was released by WWE last July due to budget cuts despite the fact that he was slated to return just weeks before the company cut him. It was previously reported that Impact Wrestling was interested in signing him, but he also had interest from AEW.

He never wrestled a match outside of WWE while away, but did make select public appearances for autograph signings.

Freddie Prinze Jr. Confirms He’s Made Offer To Bray Wyatt

Freddie Prinze Jr. admits that he has sent out an offer to Bray Wyatt about potentially joining his startup professional wrestling promotion.

Prinze took to his podcast, Wrestling With Freddie, and discussed the situation. In discussing his ongoing venture to startup his promotion, Prinze addressed a report going around involving him and former WWE star Bray Wyatt.

The report suggests that Prinze made an offer to Wyatt to join the promotion. Prinze admits that he did, in fact, make an offer to the former WWE World Champion.

“Everybody knows that I love Bray and it was basically reported that I was the one that made the offer, and sure, I’ll confirm that. I’ve put out an offer there and I think it’s a creative offer.

“Financially I wouldn’t be able to compete with the WWE, but I’ve put other things in there that I think are important to Bray. I don’t think I’m going to get it as the weeks go on, but we’ll see.

“You never know, and if I don’t, then I’ll shift gears again like I did the last time. It’s a speed bump in the road and I will find the next person and rework the story to make it work for that, but whoever my main guy is, that’s who this is going to revolve around in the wrestling half of things.”

bray wyatt wwe return

Wyatt has been out of the professional wrestling fold since July of 2021. He was released from his contract with WWE after having been with the promotion since 2009. During that time, Wyatt won a WWE Title, two Universal Titles, and runs as RAW and SmackDown Tag Team Champions.

For the past year, Wyatt has been teased for potentially returning to wrestling action. It will be interesting to see if he actually returns before the end of the year – and for which promotion it is.

Bray Wyatt Likes Tweet From 2019 Ahead Of WWE SmackDown: “Tomorrow There Will Be More Of Us”

WWE has been playing the 1967 song “White Rabbit” by Jefferson Airplane during live events and occasionally during a commercial break.

On Monday’s edition of RAW, a mysterious QR code appeared on the screen while Austin Theory was making his way to the ring for a singles match against Kevin Owens. When the code is scanned, it takes fans to a hidden WWE website.

A video appears and it is a game of ‘Hang Man’. The question is “Who killed the world?” and the answer is “YOU DID”. The date 9/23 also appears in the video, which is this week’s episode of SmackDown.

Bray Wyatt was released from WWE on July 31, 2021. He spent nearly ten years with the promotion and is a three-time world champion. Many fans have speculated that the “White Rabbit” is Bray Wyatt, while others believe it is Karrion Kross. You can check out our deep dive into WWE’s cryptic teaser campaign here.

Bray Wyatt Likes Interesting Tweet From Brodie Lee

Brodie Lee (John Huber), formerly known as Luke Harper in WWE, sadly passed away on December 26, 2020. He captured the TNT Championship in All Elite Wrestling and the Intercontinental Championship in WWE. He was also a two-time SmackDown Tag Team Champion with the Wyatt Family.

As spotted by Sportskeeda Wrestling, Bray Wyatt liked a tweet today from Brodie Lee that was posted on April 9th, 2019. The tweet simply reads “Tomorrow there will be more of us”, which is interesting because tomorrow is the date teased in the video.

Bray Wyatt was seen training with boxer Keith Thurman in a video just posted by ESNews.

The Fiend Concept Artist Teases Design For The White Rabbit

WWE has given us a new mystery.

For the last few weeks the company has been playing Jefferson Airplane’s “White Rabbit” at house shows and during commercial breaks of television tapings. This has prompted fans to turn on their cell-phone flashlights similar to how they use to for former WWE superstar Bray Wyatt, with many believing that the song is signaling the Eater of Worlds inevitable return. A recent fan theory added more fuel to this speculation, but now a bigger tease has been released online, one that may indicate what is to come.

Artist Kyle A. Scarborough, who has had his work showcased in WWE, AEW, NJPW, IMPACT, NOAH, and non-wrestling related markets, took to his personal Twitter today and shared an original image of what appears to be…a White Rabbit. Hidden under Scarborough’s code reads the words “Feed Your Head,” which is the final line in the Jefferson Airplane song. WWE Fans in particular remember Scarborough as he designed the mask for Wyatt’s alter ego, The Fiend.

Wyatt was released by WWE back in July of 2021, one of the more shocking cuts the company made considering Wyatt’s popularity and ability to move merchandise. He had been paired with Alexa Bliss at that time, who herself, dropped a White Rabbit hint on Monday’s edition of Raw. You can read about that here.

A Fan Theory May have Cracked WWE’s ‘White Rabbit’ Mystery

WWE is facing a new mystery, and it’s not even appeared on TV yet.

For the past week, a mysterious tease for what’s been dubbed ‘the White Rabbit’ has been part of WWE Live events and now as part of the TV programming.

Wrestling is no stranger to mysteries, and now one amateur sleuth may have the answer.

The White Rabbit

WWE has been playing the song White Rabbit by Jefferson Airplane and has provided no explanation for the track.

At a WWE Live event and during a commercial break on last Friday’s SmackDown, the promotion also used ominous red lighting, with fans believing that this could mark the end of Bray Wyatt.

At the two events, fans also held up their camera phone lights, referencing the ‘fireflies’ from Wyatt’s tenure with the company.

During this week’s Raw, a QR code could be spotted that took fans to an eerie video, teasing that more will be revealed during this Friday’s SmackDown.

Mystery Solved?

WWE has kept quiet about this White Rabbit mystery, but a fan on Reddit may have found the answer. The Reddit user noted how on July 4, this year, Wyatt shared a tweet, asking if anyone knows about ‘The Devil’s Hole’ in Self, Arkansas.

After our intrepid Reddit user did some Googling, they found that Self, Arkansas isn’t even a town but instead an “unincorporated community.”

Looking up The Devil’s Hole in Self, Arkansas took the Reddit user to a 2004 forum about the area and creepy things that have happened. The Reddit user noted how the moderator of the forum had the interesting name – White Rabbit.

Using an 18-year-old non-WWE forum may seem like long-term storytelling too long for the promotion, but its hardly the first time Wyatt has waited. In 2019, Wyatt revealed that he had used eight backstage promos from 2015 to make a secret message which nobody found.

Bray Wyatt & WWE Have Had Talks About a Potential Return

Bray Wyatt (Windham Rotunda) remains one of the top names on pro wrestling’s free agent market. Wrestling fans have wondered about his return since his shocking release from the company in July 2021.

WWE has brought back several former Superstars over the past several months. Ever since Triple H took over as head of talent relations and creative, we’ve seen the company re-sign performers including Braun Strowman, Johnny Gargano, Dakota Kai, Iyo Sky, Karrion Kross and Hit Row.

Wyatt is a former World Champion, so it should come as no surprise that WWE has had talks with the Eater of Worlds about coming back into the fold. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, those talks stalled out, but the door is still open for the two sides to work together again.

“Regarding talk of Wyatt returning, there were talks in that direction. At one point, the talks stalled, but it was said it was not a dead issue. Talks with him outside WWE had also stalled in the past, as his asking price was well above what other companies were willing to pay.”

– Wrestling Observer Newsletter ( dated 9.19.22)

Bray Wyatt was one of the top earners during his time with WWE. Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns make more money than anybody, but Wyatt was one of the highest paid full-time acts.

Since leaving WWE, he’s had talks with a few other wrestling promotions. Ultimately, we’ve heard he’s got a very high asking price that has prevented people like Tony Khan pulling the trigger on acquiring his services.

Wyatt has hinted on social media that his love for pro wrestling is alive and well. It’s probably only a matter of time before he’s back inside the squared circle.

A “Serious” Offer has been Made to Bray Wyatt – Not by WWE

WWE shocked fans in July 2021 when they decided to release Bray Wyatt, despite the former Universal Champion being over with the audience.

Wyatt’s reinvention as ‘The Fiend’ in 2019 had made the once-fledgling Superstar into one of the most unique characters fans had ever seen in the company.

Bray hasn’t wrestled since his controversial release, making his most recent match his WrestleMania 37 loss to Randy Orton.

The Offer

Bray has vowed that he is not done wrestling, but when his next match will be remains uncertain.

In a new report from Fightful Select, there is reportedly a standing offer from a “startup wrestling company” for Wyatt to join.

A source who spoke to Fightful said the offer was “serious” but there is no word on whether Wyatt is interested.

It was heavily implied that the offer came from Freddie Prinze Jr. who announced earlier this year that he is starting his own promotion.

It was also mentioned in Fightful’s report that AEW had “at least some interest” in signing Wyatt.

Bray and Freddie

Bray Wyatt may soon be working for Freddie Prinze Jr. in the She’s All That actor’s new promotion.

During a June episode of his ‘Wrestling with Freddie’ podcast, Prinze said that he has revenue for a “three-year plan.”

Prinze also declared that he plans for his promotion to be a SAG show, meaning employees will be members of the Screen Actors Guild union.

Being part of SAG will make sure employees are entitled to all the insurance and medical benefits and retirement plans.

However, attempts to unionize in wrestling in the past have failed and being a SAG member could harm a wrestler’s future bookings.

Triple H Discusses Sasha Banks, The Rock and Bray Wyatt Possibly Returning to WWE

Triple H spoke with Ariel Helwani for BT Sport on Thursday to promote Saturday’s WWE Clash at the Castle premium live event from Cardiff, Wales.

During their discussion, Helwani asked Triple H about the possibility of four people returning to WWE. Triple H spoke candidly about each performer:

Sasha Banks

“Time will tell,” he said. There was a communication breakdown between Sasha Banks and WWE, for whatever reason. To start that communication back up, it’s not a difficult process, but it’s a process. She is an unbelievably talented young woman. At the end of the day, it comes down to what she wants to do with her life and her career. He called her one of the biggest stars in the business.

Braun Strowman

The Monster Among Men is rumored to be returning to WWE next week. When asked about Strowman’s future, Triple H said, “We’ll see.” He said Strowman is a polarizing person, but you can’t deny his talent. What he brings to the table, in terms of size and personality, does not come along very often.

Bray Wyatt

Triple H said Bray Wyatt is one of the craziest, most creative people he’s ever been around, and he means that in the best way. He said Bray’s mind never stops thinking about creative plans for his character. Without someone to harness him, it gets off track. “He’s a victim of his own mind,” said Triple H. However, he’s loved working with him.

He has no idea where some of Bray Wyatt’s ideas come from. He called him, “Wonderfully crazy.” He said Wyatt has a free-flowing creative mind, as long as you can harness his ideas.

Triple H asked if he could use profanity during the interview, and Helwani said no problem. Triple H said, sometimes you’ll be working with someone that people don’t like. “That guy is an asshole, but he’s my asshole.” He said some people can be difficult to work with, but that’s part of the fun of working with creative, eccentric people.

The Rock

Triple H said The Rock may be the most recognizable person on the planet. He’s the most-in-demand actor in Hollywood and has a slew of other business projects going on. When you’re in that position, you’re very busy.

However, as busy at The Rock is, there’s one thing he can only get in WWE. “I do know this, because i’ve had this conversation with him..” At no time when The Rock is making a movie can he stand in the middle of the ring and feel the energy of 100,000 people. There’s nothing else on the planet that gives you that rush.

The Rock knows the clock is ticking for one last match. He knows The Rock has the burning desire to take advance of this small window of opportunity. The platform is there: WrestleMania. Los Angeles. Roman Reigns. All the pieces are in place, it just comes down to whether or not The Rock can devote the time to making the match happen.

WWE Clash at the Castle takes place Saturday, September 3rd from Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, UK.

A Current WWE Superstar is Ready to Face Off Against Bray Wyatt

In July 2021, WWE released Bray Wyatt, shocking fans and those in the wrestling industry.

As The Fiend, Wyatt’s alter ego which had debuted two years earlier, the former Universal Champion had become immensely popular with audiences.

Following his release, it was reported that differences with then-WWE Chairman Vince McMahon, health issues, and a $4 million contract were factors in WWE’s decision.

Tick Tock

Wyatt has kept away from the ring since his release from WWE, but recent reports have suggested that he will return to the company soon.

On Twitter, former ECW personality Joel Gertner expressed his desire to see Wyatt face Karrion Kross, who returned to WWE alongside Scarlett on the post-Summerslam 2022 episode of SmackDown.

Gertner said that if the match was to happen, then he wouldn’t need to watch wrestling anymore, as the industry would have peaked with the Kross-Wyatt match.

In response, Kross shared a tweet with a video, where a character encourages another to “call me,” signifying that the two-time former NXT Champion is interested in facing Wyatt.

The film clip also gave the impression that Wyatt is already in Kross’ ‘house’ which would be WWE in this scenario.

Wyatt’s Return

While Bray seemed gone for good when he was released from WWE in 2021, a lot has changed over the past year.

It’s reported that Triple H is much higher on Bray than McMahon ever was and that several Superstars have made it clear they’d “go to bat” for the former Universal Champion.

Wyatt hasn’t commented publicly on the rumors of an imminent WWE return, but did recently share a social media post where he referenced WWE.

Report: Bray Wyatt WWE Return Is Likely ‘Soon’

With Triple H taking over as head of the WWE creative team, we have already seen several stars make their way back to WWE. Another big name is expected back soon: Bray Wyatt.

As noted in a report from Fightful Select earlier this week, Triple H is said to be higher than Vince McMahon was on Wyatt, with a better working relationship. McMahon and his inner circle were very critical of Wyatt while he was part of the company, allegedly going so far as to spread the stories that Wyatt had a bad attitude and was hard to get along with. This is said to be something that talent themselves never experienced themselves with Wyatt.

Pro Wrestling Torch Editor Wade Keller backed up Fightful’s report this week during one of his audio shows. Keller said, “I can back up Fightful’s reporting that Bray is likely back in WWE soon.”

Upon Wyatt’s release from the company, there was reportedly a great amount of hard feelings on each side, with talent themselves feeling uneasy about the move as well. Fightful noted that some talent observed how much money Wyatt made WWE in merchandising, and despite that, he was still released. This made them feel like they could be expendable at any point too.

Bray Wyatt Was Critical of Vince McMahon

Wyatt was reportedly very verbal and critical of his use in WWE, leading to the deterioration of his relationship with McMahon.

“When things were shit, Wyatt would say they were shit, and Vince saw that as difficult to deal with,” a WWE source told Fightful.

As long as Vince was in charge of creative, a return by him seemed like a long shot as Vince seemed cold whenever the idea was brought up. However, with Triple H now taking over on the creative front, all bets are off.

While we don’t have a date to expect Wyatt back as of yet, Triple H has certainly relied upon television returns to create a buzz since he took over creative. Fightful’s reporting noted that Wyatt’s name has at least been brought up in WWE creative meetings of late, though that doesn’t mean a return is happening for sure. If Keller’s reporting is accurate, a return might not be too far off.

Bray Wyatt Resurfaces With a Poetic Take on Pro Wrestling

Former WWE star Bray Wyatt has once again surfaced online, this time with a poetic take on the bizarre world of pro wrestling. The former Universal champion posted a message about wrestling on Instagram. He claimed that it is not a love story but a Fairy Tale for masochists.

Wyatt went on to make various wrestling references from The Undertaker to Ric Flair and more. He called wrestling a hope:

“It can also be a land where Dead men walk. Where Honor makes you Elite. Where Demons run for office. And Rock bottom is a reason to rejoice. WOOOOO! It’s an escape. A reason to point the blame at anyone but yourself for 2-3 hours. An excuse to be a kid again, and nothing matters except the moment we are in. Wrestling is not a love story, it’s much more. It’s hope.”

Can Bray Wyatt Return?

Bray Wyatt has kept his distance from the wrestling world since his WWE release in July last year. However, he has been teasing a return in recent times. Moves such as a trademark filing for a potential ring name has led many to believe that we will see The Fiend back inside the squared circle very soon.

The rumors of his return have been fuelled further by reports that Triple H is looking to ‘bolster’ the main roster, and he has had talks with released stars for a potential return.

Would you like to see Bray Wyatt returning to WWE under the new regime? Let us know in the comment section below.

What Did Bray Wyatt tell Alexa Bliss Before his WWE Release?

In July 2021, WWE shocked fans by releasing Bray Wyatt, bringing the three-time former World Champion’s lengthy run with the company to an end.

Since returning as the leader of the Firefly Fun House in 2019, Wyatt had become one of the company’s most popular stars, and that support only grew after the debut of his ‘The Fiend’ alter-ego.

Prior to his release, Wyatt worked closely with Alexa Bliss on-screen, who had been corrupted by his dark character.

Bliss would ultimately turn on Wyatt, costing him his match against Randy Orton at WrestleMania 37, Bray’s most recent match to date.

Bray’s Last Words

After Wyatt was released, many fans got angry at Alexa Bliss, who they accused of having ‘stolen’ The Fiend character from him.

While Bliss did keep using her ‘Dark Alexa’ persona, this wasn’t a dig at Wyatt.

Instead, the former Raw Women’s Champion explained to Metro UK how Wyatt gave her some sage words of wisdom prior to his release (via Wrestling Inc.)

“Before he left, he just said, ‘Keep it alive, keep it going’, so I took that to heart and tried to keep it alive and going.”

Alexa Bliss shares Bray Wyatt’s last words to her,

Bliss has since ditched the ‘Dark Alexa’ persona but still carries Lilly to the ring.

Bray’s Next Move

Bray Wyatt hasn’t wrestled or even appeared for any other company since his WWE release which took place nearly one year ago.

However, Wyatt has said he “often” thinks about his return to wrestling, and has insisted that he’s not done in the ring yet.

Alexa Bliss “Very Sad” She no Longer Works with Released WWE star

Alexa Bliss has been with WWE for many years now, and has seen plenty of Superstars come and go.

Since April 2020, WWE has cut Superstars in droves in the name of budget cuts, with multiple former World Champions being cut.

Seeing your colleagues and friends lose their jobs has understandably been difficult for the remaining locker room and there’s one name Bliss especially misses.

Bliss and Bray Wyatt

Speaking on the Out of Character podcast, Bliss recalled working with Bray Wyatt, her brought out a darker character in her in mid-2020.

Bliss said how she loved working with Wyatt and it is unfortunate that he’s no longer with the company.

“Oh my gosh. Working with The Fiend, with Windham was the most fun I’ve ever had in my entire WWE career. He is so brilliant with his creativity and he puts so much effort into his character. So much research. It made me wanna step my game up, 100%. Being like, ‘Okay, he puts this much thought to his character. I need to put twice as much thought in mine.'”

She continued, “Because when you step into someone else’s gimmick, you don’t want to bring it down. So I put in so much effort into that and protecting the character, protecting when we did the Firefly Fun House. It was so fun. It’s very sad that we don’t work together anymore, because it was so much fun. I think the WWE Universe saw how much fun we’re having.”

“It’s very sad that we don’t work together anymore.”

Alexa Bliss on not working with Bray Wyatt anymore.

Wyatt was released from WWE in July 2021, a decision that shocked fans given the popularity of his ‘The Fiend’ character.

He has yet to appear for any other major wrestling promotion.

Windham Rotunda Files To Trademark The name, ‘Wyatt 6’

Former WWE champion and two-time Universal champion Windham Rotunda (Bray Wyatt) has filed a new trademark with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

The Eater of Worlds applied for the term “Wyatt 6,” which is his current handle for his social media channels and could potentially be his new in-ring moniker whenever he returns to the squared circle.

Rotunda made the filing on June 21st through wrestling attorney Michael E. Dockins, who has helped a number of top stars secure trademarks with the USPTO.

The “Wyatt 6″ trademark is intended to cover the categories: hats, Shirts, Sweatshirts, Bandanas and Hooded sweatshirts.”

Rotunda was released from his WWE contract back in July of 2021. Reports have since surfaced that there were constant creative clashes between himself and WWE Chairman Vince McMahon, and their falling out led to Rotunda being pulled from programming.

His final WWE match was against Randy Orton on night one of WrestleMania 37 a bout he worked as The Fiend and lost.

Rotunda has been largely absent from the wrestling world since his WWE departure, setting his sights instead on film projects. He has hinted in several cryptic tweets that he will be making some sort of return in the near future.

Bray Wyatt’s WWE Release Just Got Even Weirder

Bray Wyatt remains a free agent nearly one year after his WWE release last summer. The 3-time WWE Champion has kept a low profile in recent months, despite expectations that a star of his caliber would resurface somewhere by now.

On the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer hinted that there’s good reason that WWE has not re-signed the third generation Superstar.

During a discussion about plans to incorporate supernatural elements into Judgment Day faction, Meltzer dropped some cryptic information about Wyatt’s status.

“He was fired having to do with things that I probably shouldn’t talk about.”

Why did WWE release Bray Wyatt?

“[Wyatt] was fired for reasons having nothing to do with being over or not over and he was not fired having to do with his gimmick,” said Meltzer (via Wrestling News).

“He was fired having to do with things that I probably shouldn’t talk about, so I’m not going to start a can of worms. It’s got nothing to do with that. He also had health issues, as far as being kept out of action and everything like that.”

Bray Wyatt was one of WWE’s highest-paid performers at the time of his release. Meltzer added that Wyatt was making nearly $4 million per year, behind only Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar. This type of money explains why he hasn’t turned up elsewhere, such as AEW. It also shows how much WWE valued his services.

Wyatt’s Next Move

Earlier this month, there was speculation that Wyatt could return at the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view. That event came and went with no signs of the man behind The Fiend mask.

Bray Wyatt has been teasing a return to pro wrestling. You can read more about that story below:

Vince McMahon once Yelled at Bray Wyatt for Not Doing Spider Walk

WWE CEO Vince McMahon was left furious at Bray Wyatt for not doing a spider walk during a match, Matt Hardy has claimed.

Wyatt was with WWE until 2021 when he was released in July, shocking fans who had enjoyed the last two years of his tenure as part of the Firefly Funhouse.

Before Wyatt’s transformation in 2019, he teamed with Matt Hardy, with the pair capturing the RAW Tag Team Championships at the 2018 Greatest Royal Rumble event.

Speaking on The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy, the AEW star recalled McMahon’s irate reaction after a match.

”He [Vince McMahon] said ’Bray, why didn’t you do that spider walk. What’s wrong with you. You’re not in shape, can you not do it anymore?’ He really laid into him and then he said, ‘you’re not even playing the gimmick’. It was just like reaming.”

This is just the latest example of the strange relationship McMahon had with the former two-time Universal Champion.

During an earlier episode of his podcast, Matt said that Bray often seemed like a son to the WWE Chairman.

“When he would do things that he liked, he would love him and he would really give him everything that he could possibly give him. He would bend over backward to try and accommodate him. But then when he did something he didn’t like, he hated, like he was going to lock him away for good.”

Wyatt hasn’t wrestled since his release from WWE and has been focussing on a movie project with Jason Baker.

Joe Gacy Addresses Comparisons to Bray Wyatt

WWE NXT 2.0 Superstar Joe Gacy has said his character is completely different to two-time former Universal Champion Bray Wyatt.

Wyatt was released in July 2021, over two years after introducing his ‘Firefly Funhouse’ character as well as The Fiend.

Like Wyatt, Gacy’s character has proven to be unnerving with his promos and mannerisms, but the young Superstar explained to Fightful.com how they are different.

“For me, it’s completely something else. I would say that, what I’m doing, it’s always been there for me, I just have never had a platform like this to display it. I tried to go about it one way before I came to WWE and, very quickly, you have to introduce yourself and explain yourself while also having matches in other areas.

“Coming to WWE, weekly, you have the opportunity to introduce yourself a little bit at a time every Tuesday night. For me, it’s always been there and always been in here [points to head], it’s just coming out slowly.”

Gacy debuted in NXT 2.0 as part of the show’s relaunch in September 2021 and has been a main eventer as part of the brand.

At WWE NXT In Your House, Gacy lost in the main event to NXT Champion Bron Breakker.

Per the stipulation, Gacy would have won the title had Breakker been disqualified.

Bray Wyatt Return Rumors Spark Demand in Secondary Market for WWE Hell in a Cell

WWE Hell in a Cell has come and gone, and there was no Bray Wyatt.

For some reason, rumors had been swirling that Wyatt would be making an appearance at the premium live event. “The Fiend” truthers looked for any little clue of Bray’s arrival but it was all a nothing burger.

The rumors, however, did benefit the secondary ticket market.

Bray Wyatt Rumors Spark Interest

Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer is reporting that the rumors of Bray’s return boosted secondary market demand. He noted that overall, the rumors helped spark some more interest in the show.

Rumors started flying after Bray made a series of tweets ahead of HIAC. He asked fans to be patient and he hinted at being ready to make a return.

Wyatt was doing an autograph session for Legends of the Ring on Sunday afternoon. He’s booked for another autograph signing with the same group on June 11 in Iselin, NJ.

Bray was released by WWE back in late July 2021. While he’s been free to sign with anyone for months, the feeling is that Wyatt has a high asking price and has been dabbling in the world of Hollywood.

Bray Wyatt Teases He’s Ready To Return To Wrestling

Windham Rotunda, aka Bray Wyatt, sent out some interesting tweets that have seemingly hinted that he’s ready to step back into the squared circle again after being away for a while. He said the horrible suffering he was dealing with has disappeared and now it burns.

“Everything good that’s ever happened to me, first came a period horrible suffering. I never ask why, I just wait for the rough part to end. I was chosen for whatever reason. And I’ve got shit to do. It doesn’t hurt anymore, it burns. I’m ready now.”

There was also a red circle at the end of the tweet, which some fans thought was another indication that he’s come full circle and implied a WWE return, but there have not been any reports to confirm that at all. He sent out another tweet that reads the following:

“I’m tired of watching. Tired of hearing irrelevant clowns speculate how I’ll be perceived. Tired of hearing about my greed, my desire questioned. Wherever and whenever I decide to return, I’ll remind everyone why they know my name. Again. And again. Believe in me. #IFoundIt.”

In a follow-up tweet, Wyatt noted, “Patience. It’s almost time.”

It’s been previously reported that after Rotunda was let go by WWE, AEW and Impact Wrestling were interested in signing him. However, his asking price is said to be very high. It looks like we may find out soon what his next move is.

Matt Hardy Details Strange Relationship Between Bray Wyatt & Vince McMahon

Matt Hardy says Bray Wyatt and Vince McMahon had a very strange working relationship behind the scenes.

Hardy recently took to his podcast, “The Extreme Life Of Matt Hardy,” and reflected on his last run with WWE. During the show, Hardy touched on working with Wyatt, and what it was like seeing Wyatt interact with McMahon backstage.

The multiple-time Tag Team Champion detailed how McMahon would praise Wyatt when he did something he liked. However, when Wyatt did something he didn’t like, it was almost as if he was going to lock Wyatt away for good.

“Windham (Bray Wyatt) has always had a very strange relationship with Vince, very strange, like, I almost felt like Vince looked at him like a son in some ways,” Matt Hardy said.

“When he would do things that he liked, he would love him and he would really give him everything that he could possibly give him. He would bend over backwards to try and accommodate him. But then when he did something he didn’t like, he hated, like he was going to lock him away for good.”

“It was almost like a really weird, a really strange and different duality that Vince shared with Bray. When he liked him or loved him, he was all about him. But when he disliked him, oh my god, it was really bad and he would like punish him and insult him. To me, it was so strange. It was almost like a parent.”

Wyatt was released from WWE in July of 2021. Much has been made about his professional wrestling future, as Wyatt has scarcely made any professional wrestling appearances since his release.

With All Elite Wrestling (AEW) now very much a viable alternative for talents, many wonder if Wyatt will end up working for Tony Khan next. Or, perhaps, Wyatt and McMahon can reconcile their differences, and he’ll return to WWE.

Friend Of Bray Wyatt Says He May Never Wrestle Again (Report)

A friend of former WWE Champion Bray Wyatt (Windham Rotunda) reportedly thinks he could be done with the wrestling business.

Wyatt was released from WWE in July 2021 and has said he often thinks about returning to the ring.

When a friend of Wyatt spoke to WrestlingNews.co recently, the person said that the former Superstar has been very careful with his money and does not need to keep on wrestling.

“HE IS VERY GOOD WITH HIS MONEY. I WOULDN’T BE SURPRISED IF HE NEVER CAME BACK [TO WRESTLING.]”

Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter had reported that Bray has a high asking price to return to the ring. He was reportedly making around $4 million per year during his time with WWE.

Wyatt has not competed for any promotion since his release, making his WrestleMania 37 loss to Randy Orton his most recent match to date.

Wyatt After WWE

Since being released, Wyatt has focused on non-wrestling projects, including a horror movie involving special effects artist legend Jason Baker.

He also got engaged to former WWE ring announcer JoJo Offerman back in April. The two have been together for several years and have two children together.

Bray Wyatt & JoJo Offerman Got Engaged

Congratulations are in order for former WWE couple Bray Wyatt (Windham Rotunda) and Joseann “JoJo” Offerman.

Bray Wyatt Resurfaces With Cryptic Tweets & Disturbing Illustrations

Former WWE Superstar Bray Wyatt (Windham Rotunda) resurfaced on Thursday with a new Twitter name/bio and some puzzling comments and imagery.

Wyatt updated his Twitter name to reflect a red circle. His new Twitter avatar can be seen here:

He also sent out some messages talking about evolving into a sentient machine, so he doesn’t have to feel the pain of being a man anymore.

What’s next for Bray Wyatt?

I do think it’s true that ‘he who makes a beast of himself, gets rid of the pain of being a man.’

But

But if you become the machine, you don’t have to feel at all.

#WhatIf?

To be Sentient.”

The tweet about “becoming the machine” included another illustration that you can view below.

Bray Wyatt has kept a low profile since leaving WWE in July 2021. We know he’s working on a horror movie, which has been in production since November. He’s made a couple appearances at wrestling conventions, including WrestleCon during WrestleMania 38 weekend in Dallas, TX.

Interesting Note on Bray Wyatt’s Hiatus from Wrestling

Its been quite a while since professional wrestling fans have seen Bray Wyatt compete inside the ring.

Wyatt hasn’t done much professional wrestling-related ventures since his WWE release last July. Since, he’s only done a Wrestlecon appearance during WrestleMania weekend in Dallas, Texas earlier this month. Many have wondered if Wyatt would consider a return to WWE, or even joining All Elite Wrestling (AEW).

However, according to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer, there is a good reason why Wyatt hasn’t signed with anyone yet. Meltzer reports that Wyatt’s asking price to return to the ring is simply too high right now.

Bray Wyatt is one of the hottest free agents out there, but his services don’t come cheap. AEW has been on a hiring spree, but they still have to be mindful about their pay structure. The company brought in some huge names last year, including CM Punk, Daniel Bryan and Adam Cole. Cody Rhodes’ recent departure should serve as an example of Tony Khan having limits on how much he’s willing to offer people.

Wyatt hasn’t been seen on WWE TV since the night after last year’s WrestleMania. However, he did recently hint on social media that he couldn’t imagine never stepping into a professional wrestling ring again. As for his health, with all this time he’s spent away from the squared circle, he’s likely in great shape for an in-ring return.

It will be interesting to see where Wyatt ultimately ends up if he does decide to sign with a major promotion again.
