The Undertaker Hopes To See Bray Wyatt Return To WWE

The Undertaker is holding out hope that Bray Wyatt and WWE can come to an agreement for the former star to make a return to the company, which released him last year, one day.

Taker and Wyatt have history as “The Deadman” beat Wyatt at WrestleMania 31, one year after his legendary undefeated streak ended thanks to Brock Lesnar.

“I hope things get worked out with him somewhere,” Undertaker said at WrestleMania Axxess. “He is a phenomenal talent and I think he has a lot to offer this industry. So, I want to wish the best for him. Hopefully, at some point, he comes home.”

Prior to his release, Wyatt hadn’t been used by WWE in several months following his loss to Randy Orton at WrestleMania 37. WWE had been advertising him for future events just days before the decision was made to let him go.

Since his departure, Wyatt has made some public appearances, but hasn’t wrestled. Although AEW and Impact Wrestling both reportedly had hopes of bringing Wyatt in, the former WWE star decided to pursue other projects outside of the wrestling world including a new horror film project.

Bray Wyatt On A Return To Wrestling: “I Think About It Often”

WrestleMania weekend is the largest wrestling gathering of the year. It sees some of the biggest wrestling names coming together for various events, including Bray Wyatt.

The former WWE star, real name Windham Rotunda noted on Instagram that he has arrived in Dallas for his scheduled WrestleCon appearance. He also took the time to answer some fan questions.

Wyatt, who has mostly been away from wrestling since his WWE release last year was asked about returning to the ring. Replying to it, he said that he couldn’t imagine spending the rest of his life without stepping in the ring again:

“I will always love wrestling. I couldn’t imagine spending the rest of my life without stepping in the ring again and hearing that roar again. I think about it often. Everything has to be in place though. Like I said, timing is everything.”

‘It Was A Confession’

Bray Wyatt also commented on the origin of the Firefly Funhouse. He claimed that the early Funhouse segments were a story about his life:

“The Firefly Funhouse, at least the early ones, are a story about my life. I told you stories in there that happened live on television and many that you could never know.

It was confessions. They were short, stylized documentaries about my life. That’s why they connected. They weren’t just about wrestling. They were an origin story.”

Per Wyatt, he hid his struggles and his comeback in the segments because he wanted people to feel when they watched the vignettes. He claimed that he felt every emotion fathomable during the making of them.

Apart from this, Bray Wyatt discussed his health. He said that he has never been healthier both physically and mentally. He claimed that this is a happy time for him.

Bray Wyatt Confirms Nixed WWE 2K22 Storyline Featuring ‘The Shiend’

Windham Rotunda aka Bray Wyatt has confirmed a nixed storyline for the new WWE 2K22 video game that would have seen Dana Brooke becoming ‘The Shiend.’

There had been a rumor going around recently that the current 24/7 champion was supposed to join forces with the Eater Of Worlds before his release from the promotion.

According to the leaks, Brooke was to be possessed by Rotunda’s character. This would have led to her becoming the female version of The Fiend, dubbed The Shiend.

However, the now-former WWE star responded to these claims on Twitter. He revealed that the whole thing was an angle that was originally planned for the 2K22 video game:

Bray Wyatt was released from his WWE contract in July last year. This ended his 12 year-long stint with the promotion which included multiple world title reigns.

He has mostly been away from wrestling since his departure from the Vince McMahon-owned promotion. Rotunda had talks with Impact Wrestling but the two sides couldn’t come to an agreement

There has been complete silence about his future in the industry since then. The former WWE star is currently busy filming a horror movie. He doesn’t seem to have any immediate plans to make a wrestling return.

Bray Wyatt To Make First Post-WWE Appearance This Weekend

Windham Rotunda (Bray Wyatt) is scheduled to make his first wrestling-related appearance since leaving WWE this weekend in Albany, NY.

WWE released Bray Wyatt back in July 2021. The company released over 80 people last year due to budget cuts, but fans were shocked to see the former WWE Champion let go.

Wyatt will be at the Showcase of Legends 7 convention in Albany, New York. He’ll be available for a meet-and-greets, photo-ops and autograph signings from 10am-2 pm. Autographs start at $100, while Super VIP packages (which includes 6 autographs and the VIP line) go for $500.

Bray Wyatt Appearance

Other top stars scheduled to appear at the event include WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus, AEW Women’s World Champion Dr. Britt Baker, Dustin Rhodes and Rikishi.

After Showcase of Legends VII, Bray Wyatt will also appear at WrestleCon on Friday, April 1st during WrestleMania 38 weekend.

Bray Wyatt Comments On Losing The Universal Title To Roman Reigns

Bray Wyatt returned to social media for the first time since November today. He responded to a Tweet from Talk Sport’s Louis Dangoor.

https://twitter.com/TheLouisDangoor/status/1492856085669203969

“If he beats Goldberg next week, Roman Reigns will have beaten every person to hold the Universal title during his current reign.”

This Tweet did not sit well with Wyatt. His Fiend character was the Universal Champion heading into a triple threat against Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman at Payback. Reigns pinned Strowman to win the title, however, and not Wyatt.

Wyatt responded to Dangoor’s Tweet.

https://twitter.com/Chops410/status/1492892258726817792

The Tweet also didn’t sit well with Seth Rollins, who actually defeated Roman Reigns by disqualification at the Royal Rumble.

https://twitter.com/TheLouisDangoor/status/1492894219022868483

“Worth pointing out that Roman Reigns didn’t actually beat Seth Rollins at the Royal Rumble, but he retained the title over him, so the point still stands,” Dangoor also noted.

Where Will Bray Wyatt End Up?

Bray Wyatt was released on July 31st, 2021. He’s been gone from wrestling ever since. There were rumors that Impact Wrestling was interested in him but any thought of him going there is pretty much dead at this point.

Only time will tell when and where Wyatt makes his return to pro-wrestling.

Windham Rotunda Spotted at a Wedding Over The Weekend (Photos)

Windham Rotunda better known to WWE fans as Bray Wyatt has appeared online in some new photos. In the pics, he is looking trim and refreshed, compared to his WWE days.

Disney head writer Rob Fee recently got married to comedian and actor Ariana Basseri. A number of wrestling personalities were invited to their wedding ceremony,

Among the invitees was the former WWE star John Morrison. The former IC champion shared some photos from the wedding on Twitter. What’s interesting is that the pictures also featured Wyatt among others:

AEW star Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MFJ) also sent out a hilarious in character wish to the newlywed couple. He wished Rob best of luck in his future endeavors.

The latest from Bray Wyatt

Bray Wyatt was surprisingly released from his WWE contract in July last year. This ended the former world champion’s 12-year-long tenure with the promotion.

The Fiend has since decided to take a break from wrestling. He is set to make his Hollywood debut with an untitled horror film that has already started shooting.

The former champion has also been announced for the WrestleCon 2022 during the WrestleMania week. It will be interesting to see if he makes his in-ring return during or before the event as well.

Latest On Bray Wyatt’s Future In Pro Wrestling

It appears that Windham Rotunda better known to wrestling fans as Bray Wyatt might be taking an extended break from wrestling instead of returning right away.

Many expected the wrestling star to make his AEW debut during the Winter Is Coming special of Dynamite. He was even trending on Twitter for a while during the event.

However, the expected debut never took place. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter talked about Rotunda and provided some updates.

Per Meltzer, there has been continued talk about the former Wyatt Family Leader within WWE. Word is that he is focusing on his Hollywood gig and does not want to return to wrestling anytime soon.

Bray Wyatt had one of the ‘top five or six’ contracts in WWE. So, unless he was living ‘incredibly large’, there shouldn’t be any financial issue forcing the former WWE star to return before he wants.

Rotunda apparently had talks with Impact wrestling but the two sides were ‘apart on money.’ Tony Khan has said multiple times that he hasn’t talked to Wyatt regarding a possible AEW signing.

Bray Wyatt was released from his WWE contract on July 31 earlier this year. He became a free agent on October 29. A WrestleCon convention in Dallas during WrestleMania 38 weekend is so far the only wrestling appearance he has been announced for.

Ric Flair Says AEW Should Sign Bray Wyatt

Ric Flair released a new episode of his Woo Nation podcast today. During the discussion, Flair mentioned he believes AEW should sign Bray Wyatt.

Mark Madden asked Flair if AEW was signing too many wrestlers and Flair took the opportunity to mention his belief that the promotion should sign Wyatt.

“I most definitely would hire Bray Wyatt,” Flair said. “I’m a huge fan of his. The kid can work and talk and he comes up with some incredible ideas. I know you aren’t crazy about those gimmicks but when you think that he put the time and effort, those were his thought process. Plus, he’s legit, he’s a tough kid, he’s an amateur wrestler, played football at Troy.”

“I’m just a big fan of his. I like his brother a lot too. You couldn’t find a handsomer more athletic guy. I think if I’m going to hire one more guy, I’d hire Bray Wyatt.”

“The last guy I would have fired if I were Vince would have been Bray Wyatt. So, there must have been something there that I’m missing.”

Regarding Bray Wyatt’s free agency, it was recently noted by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful that he is absolutely not going to Impact Wrestling.

Bray Wyatt’s First Post-WWE Booking Announced

Bray Wyatt’s first wrestling-related appearance since being released from WWE this summer has been announced.

Wyatt will be part of WrestleCon 2022 in Dallas, TX, which takes place during WrestleMania weekend at the Fairmont hotel from March 30th to April 5th, 2022.

WrestleCon broke the news on social media this week:

In an interview with Metro UK, Special makeup effects artist Jason Baker revealed that Wyatt will be taking part in the filming of a horror movie this month in Tennessee.

“He’s a phenomenal collaborator, he’s become a really good friend, and we’re actually – you’re the first person that we’re publicly telling about. We’re starting a film at the end of the month,” Baker said.

“It’s a feature film and it’s something really new and different,” Baker continued. “I’d say probably the best way to describe it is Ichi the Killer meets Xanadu.”

Bray Wyatt Responds To Matt Hardy

Yesterday, Wyatt responded to a Tweet from his former tag-partner Matt Hardy. Hardy noted that it was 27 years ago since he faced Wyatt’s father, Mike Rotunda (AKA I.R.S).

“I’ve taken that same ass whoopin many times, at least he gave you some hope spots,” Wyatt Tweeted.

More news about the potential reason for Wyatt’s release is available in the link below:

Windham Rotunda (Bray Wyatt) horror movie to begin filming this month

Former WWE Superstar Bray Wyatt (Windham Rotunda) is gearing up for his feature film debut.

Special makeup effects artist Jason Baker spoke to Alistair McGeorge of Metro.co.uk this week and provided the first details about this project.

“He’s a phenomenal collaborator, he’s become a really good friend, and we’re actually – you’re the first person that we’re publicly telling about. We’re starting a film at the end of the month.”

Baker worked closely with Windham Rotunda on his infamous WWE character, The Fiend. The two were spotted in Los Angeles just a few weeks ago.

Windham Rotunda’s Horror Debut

The untitled horror film will begin filming later this month in Tennessee.

“It’s a feature film and it’s something really new and different,” said Baker. “I’d say probably the best way to describe it is Ichi the Killer meets Xanadu.”

Windham Rotunda knows a thing or two about horror. Bray Wyatt, The Fiend and the Firefly Funhouse were dark characters that had a lot more backstory to dig into. WWE owns all that intellectual property, so wrestling fans should not expect this horror film to have anything to do with the Bray Wyatt character.

“We’re not using any of that – we’re going in a completely different direction, a whole new thing. It should be fun. Hopefully fans of horror and fans of Windham like it!”

Bray Wyatt Teases His Next Move

Bray Wyatt, Windham Rotunda, took to Twitter late last night. In typical fashion for him, the Tweet asked more questions than it answered about his next move. It’s possible that Wyatt was referring to the recent WWE roster cuts as well.

“What do we do now? We wait for the right place. We wait for the right time. Then we turn Rome to Ashes. “Groveling in the muck of avarice” I believe in you too,” Rotunda wrote on Twitter.

This is just speculation, but Wyatt used a snake emoji next to the line “Grovelling in the muck of avarice” which is very similar to a line from a famous Jake “the Snake” Roberts promo. Roberts was feuding with “The Million Dollar Man” Ted Dibiase at the time. The word avarice means “extreme greed for wealth or material gain.”

“I’m going to make you beg, Dibiase. You are going to get down on your hands and knees. This time you’ll be the one that’s humbled, this time you’ll be the one who is humiliated, and this time you’ll be the one that grovels for the money. And how appropriate that the money you grovel for is your very own. A victim of your own greed, wallowing in the muck of avarice,” Roberts said in a backstage interview from WrestleMania VI.

GCW Owner Doesn’t Think Bray Wyatt Has Interest In Indies

The owner of GCW gets the impression that Bray Wyatt doesn’t want to dabble in the indie scene.

Wyatt recently saw his non-compete clause expire. He was released from his WWE contract back in late July. He is now free to sign with any promotion who is willing to make him offers.

Bray Wyatt Not Focused On Indies?

Brett Lauderdale, the owner of GCW, had an interview with Wrestling Inc and expressed his belief that Wyatt isn’t thinking about spending time on the independent circuit.

“I have never talked to Bray Wyatt, but my understanding is that I don’t know that our world is very appealing to Bray Wyatt.

“There’s no secret message there. I think that he’s not interested in making the rounds on the indies. That’s my understanding. I don’t mean any negative implication that he said anything because I’ve never spoken to him. From people I know, that he knows and whatever, it just doesn’t seem like it’s something that’s on his to-do list anytime soon.”

AEW President Tony Khan has said he’d like to have a conversation with Wyatt “when the time is right.” Fightful Select reported that while Wyatt and Impact Wrestling has had talks, the two have never been close to coming to terms on a deal.

Wyatt was recently spotted in Los Angeles. He was seen at gate 4 in Warner Bros. studio. Fightful brought word that Bray Wyatt has been showing interest in Hollywood.

SEScoops will keep you posted on Bray Wyatt’s future.

Vince McMahon Soured On Bray Wyatt For Speaking Up About Creative (Report)

When WWE released Bray Wyatt a few months ago, the reason given for it was due to budget cuts. The company has released dozens of wrestlers and employees since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in an effort to shore up resources and strengthen the bottom line.

It now looks like finances, specifically a lucrative contract, were not the only factor working against Bray Wyatt. According to a new report at Fightful Select, Vince McMahon soured on the third generation star because he was “too outspoken” about creative plans.

The ‘budget cuts’ excuse did not satisfy people in WWE. Wyatt’s release had a negative effect on morale, as a result.

It was reported several months ago by Dave Meltzer that the original plan for the Wyatt vs. Randy Orton match at WrestleMania 37 was for Orton to lose to Wyatt then take time off.

Plans were changed and Orton went over with Wyatt taking time off instead. There were reportedly no creative ‘endgame’ for that storyline. At one point in the storyline, Wyatt was burned alive by Orton.

Wyatt was someone who sold a ton of merchandise for the company and because he was let go despite that, it has wrestlers thinking that no job is safe in WWE. This feeling extends to long-time stars up and down the card.

Bray Wyatt is now a free agent and is looking forward to telling his side of the story, as it relates to his WWE release.

Scrapped Plans For Live Version Of FireFly Fun House Revealed

Artist Kyle Scarborough recently revealed that there were plans for WWE to create live versions of Bray Wyatt’s FireFly Fun House characters.

He noted on Twitter that he drew up a mock-up of the Huskus character but the plans were ultimately shelved. Scarborough also noted that Wyatt would only go along with the plans if he was able to portray the characters himself.

“Fun Fact: the WWE wanted to bring the FireFly Fun House alive, but Bray Wyatt would only do it if he played the characters himself. Only one was mocked up, and this would’ve been the concept for FFH Huskus. It was hinted, but ultimately shelved.”

Scarborough also noted on social media that the former Bray Wyatt might be releasing a podcast soon. Wyatt has promised to speak on his time in WWE soon in various social media posts as well.

Scarborough also noted on Twitter that he was asked to mock-up ideas for Alexa Bliss’ look when she was first paired with the Fiend.

Bray Wyatt’s 90-day no compete clause with WWE expired on October 29th. He is now free to sign with another promotion. Tony Khan has previously stated that he has not spoken with Wyatt but would when the time is right.

“Yeah. I really like Windham,” said Khan to the New York Post. “I know him a little bit and I really enjoy him. The last time I saw him was at Chris Jericho’s birthday party and that was a long time ago.”

Bray Wyatt Responds To Reports That He “Deserved To Be Fired”

Bray Wyatt is officially a free agent after his 90-day no compete clause with WWE expired on October 29th. He has removed all mention of WWE from his social media tags. His new Twitter handle is now just @Windham6.

The former Bray Wyatt also responded to a report that stated some backstage in WWE felt that Wyatt “deserved to be fired.” The report stated that a WWE source believed Wyatt deserved to be released due to being protective of his character and various other antics while making millions of dollars.

Wyatt first responded with a GIF of the Rock rolling his eyes before commenting, “Now that we have Johnny and Bruce’s opinion, I would like to share mine soon.”

What Is Next For Windham Rotunda?

Recent reports have suggested that while Impact Wrestling has reached out to him, a deal between the two parties was never close to materializing. AEW’s Tony Khan said he hasn’t spoken with Wyatt but would when the time is right. He made those comments before his 90-day no-compete window was up, however.

According to a report from Fightful, Rotunda has also been in Los Angeles recently inquiring about possible opportunities in Hollywood.

More Bray Wyatt News:

Reason Bray Wyatt Has Been In Los Angeles Recently

Bray Wyatt might be looking to expand his repertoire beyond the world of professional wrestling and make a spot for himself in Hollywood after his WWE release.

A photo surfaced on social media earlier today that showed the former world champion standing with Jason Baker in front of the Gate 4 of Warner Bros. studio.

Baker works with horror icon Tom Savini. Wyatt has had a relationship with these two for long. Their teams were the ones responsible for a number of props the WWE star has used throughout his career, including the Fiend mask.

Now in a seemingly related update, Fightful is reporting that the former WWE superstar has been in Los Angeles recently. He has been making inquiries for potential Hollywood projects.

This isn’t the first time Bray Wyatt has shown interest in Hollywood. Per WWE sources, there had been a pitch before his release that would have seen him star in a movie.

Bray Wyatt’s Post-WWE Career

In the meantime, the Fiend seems to be preparing for his life after wrestling. He recently teased his impending free agency on Twitter. Since then, the former champion has made some other significant changes to his Twitter profile.

Wyatt, real name Windham Rotunda has finally changed his Twitter handle from @WWEBrayWyatt to @Windham6. This late change apparently helps him keep his profile verified through the transition process.

He’s updated his Twitter bio to read, “Revenge is a Confession of pain.”

There is no word yet on what Bray Wyatt is planning for his future in wrestling. We should get a better idea about his future once he officially becomes a free agent after Friday, October 29.

Bray Wyatt Teases End Of 90-Day No-Compete Window

Bray Wyatt is teasing that the end of his 90-day no-compete window is almost up. The former WWE and Universal Champion took to social media last night with a simple Tweet that got a lot of his followers talking. Wyatt was released on July 31st, 2021, meaning his 90-day window is up tomorrow, October 29th, 2021.

In terms of where Bray Wyatt could end up, several possibilities exist. Recent reports suggested that Impact Wrestling reached out to him. It was also noted that a deal between the two sides has never been close, however.

It was also noted that Wyatt started following AEW President Tony Khan on Instagram this summer.

Screen Shot 2021 10 28 at 7.24.39 AM

Tony Khan recently mentioned that he has yet to speak with Wyatt. The AEW President spoke about him during an interview with the New York Post.

“Yeah. I really like Windham,” said Khan. “I know him a little bit and I really enjoy him. The last time I saw him was at Chris Jericho’s birthday party and that was a long time ago.”

Wyatt also recently commented on his brother, the former Bo Dallas, starting a YouTube channel earlier this month:

“It makes me happy to see my brother do something that makes him happy. He inspires me to create. And create I shall.”

Update On Braun Strowman & Bray Wyatt’s Negotiations With Impact Wrestling

Many fans who tuned in last night to Bound for Glory may have been expecting Braun Strowman to show up. Last week, PW Insider reported that Strowman was all but locked down to debut with the promotion. As it turns out, however, no deal has been signed and it is not clear if one will be.

According to a report from Fightful Select, the two sides have talked but no deal has been made. It is not clear if Strowman will end up there or not.

https://twitter.com/jimmyyadig/status/1452140947781861379

In terms of Bray Wyatt possibly debuting for Impact Wrestling, he was reportedly contacted by the promotion but a deal between the two sides has never been close. It does not sound like there are currently plans for Wyatt to end up in Impact, although things could change.

Bronson Reed was also reportedly booked to be part of the upcoming Impact Wrestling tapings. He was later unbooked, however. No reason for the change has been reported.

Impact is bringing in Minoru Suzuki for this week’s tapings in Las Vegas, however.

Bray Wyatt Comments On Potential Match With Danhausen

Bray Wyatt would rather team up with Danhausen than face the current ROH star in a dream match inside an All Elite Wrestling ring.

A fan recently made a tweet about potential dream matches that people would want to see in AEW if there were no contractual barriers. He listed Orange Cassidy vs. Danhausen as the match he would like to see.

Someone else then said that they would want to see the former WWE star facing Danhausen in a tooth match. Joining in on the conversation Wyatt suggested that he would rather unite with the former FIP star:

The Fiend was released from his WWE contract back on July 31. Assuming a standard 90 days non-compete clause, he should become a free agent later this month on October 29.

There has been a lot of chatter about where Bray Wyatt should go next but no clear indication of where he might actually end up. Impact wrestling is reportedly interested in signing the former world champion.

Tony Khan on the other hand is taking a cautious approach because of his contractual status. The AEW owner has said that he would like to talk to the eater of worlds ‘at the right time.’

News On Issues Leading To Bray Wyatt’s WWE Release

The release of Bray Wyatt was probably the most surprising one coming out of WWE in recent times, especially as it came in the face of the competition from AEW.

Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men podcast recently discussed the former world champion’s departure from the promotion. He suggested that it wasn’t just one issue but multiple issues in conjunction that led to his release. Per Zarian, Wyatt was ‘being difficult’ towards the ending of his run.

The former world champion had some performance issues in the ring as well as weight issues. It’s not the exact reason why the Fiend was let go, but such things make the decision easier when the officials evaluate a talent considering their future plans.

Bray Wyatt’s WWE Departure

Most recently terminated talents have been told their releases are budget cuts. Though many fans don’t buy this excuse in the case of Bray Wyatt, since he is known to be a merchandise mover.

Additionally, finances were also a factor in the relationship souring, which is commonplace with business disputes. Though he again stressed that there is no one reason that led to his firing from the promotion.

The former WWE star himself wasn’t happy with the situation either. There were plenty of variables at work and the decision was not ‘cut and dry.’

Bray Wyatt was released from WWE back on July 31. Assuming a standard 90 days non-compete clause, he should become a free agent later this month on October 29.

Tony Khan Wants To Speak With Bray Wyatt At The Right Time

AEW President Tony Khan has big respect for Bray Wyatt and could see them working together at some point.

Wrestling fans were stunned upon receiving the news that Wyatt had been released by WWE. After all, Wyatt was in a main event role as The Fiend and is a former WWE Champion and a former two-time WWE Universal Champion.

Khan recently told the folks over at WFAN that he hasn’t spoken to Wyatt yet but he seemingly left the door open.

When speaking to the New York Post, Khan showed more optimism in a conversation with Bray Wyatt (Windham Rotunda) taking place at some point in the future.

“Yeah. I really like Windham,” said Khan. “I know him a little bit and I really enjoy him. The last time I saw him was at Chris Jericho’s birthday party and that was a long time ago.”

Khan continued by heaping praise on the former WWE Superstar and could see them working together in the future.

“I like him as a person very much and he’s a really talented person. At the right time and place, sure I’d be interested to talk to him. I’m interested to talk to him in general because he’s a great person.”

Wyatt competed at WrestleMania 37 earlier this year, losing to Randy Orton. He appeared in a backstage segment on Monday Night Raw the following night. This marked his final appearance on WWE TV.

Many have speculated what kind of role Wyatt can be put in if he ends up signing with AEW. The most popular direction seems to be filling the late Brodie Lee’s shoes and taking over as the leader of The Dark Order.

Whether or not that will happen remains to be seen.

Has AEW Been In Talks With Bray Wyatt?

Bray Wyatt will soon be free to sign with any promotion that wants him, so has AEW shown interest?

Wyatt was released from WWE back in July. The news came as a shocker to many wrestling fans as Wyatt was in a pivotal role with the company as The Fiend. Wyatt competed against Randy Orton at WrestleMania 37. Wyatt lost the match and made his final WWE appearance in a Raw segment the following night.

Of course, many have already assumed that Bray Wyatt will eventually make his way to AEW. Some have even suggested that Wyatt could fill the shoes of the late Brodie Lee and take over The Dark Order.

Appearing on WFAN Sports Radio, AEW head honcho Tony Khan revealed whether or not he’s been in talks with Bray Wyatt.

“He’s a great wrestler, and I have to be honest, we haven’t talked at all. I’ve known him in personal life, but in reality, we haven’t talked. But you never know.”

Bryan Alvarez of F4W has said that he’s heard from sources that AEW will not be bringing Wyatt on board in a full-time role. The general consensus is that Impact Wrestling will ultimately be Wyatt’s new home.

Wyatt’s non-compete clause is set to expire on Oct. 29.

Rumor Killer On Future Of Bray Wyatt

There has been a rumor going around that Bray Wyatt has agreed to a deal with Impact Wrestling but latest reports suggest that this news is not correct.

Although Impact does have an interest in bringing the former WWE Superstars, Fightful notes that no deal has been made between the two parties.

Impact officials asked one of their roster members to reach out to Wyatt but they are nowhere close to reaching an agreement. The report doesn’t state the name of the Impact star who reached out to Bray.

The eater of worlds was released from his WWE contract back on July 31 after more than a decade with the promotion. His non-compete clause is set to expire later this month on Friday, October 29.

Bray Wyatt has been teasing his next move on social media. In a Twitter post last month, the Fiend promised to see everyone very soon. He then responded to some comments from Seth Rollins about their Hell In A Cell match.

Though despite the teases, there is no word yet on which company he is leaning towards and no clear indication of what the former champion is planning for his future.

Bray Wyatt Responds To Seth Rollins’ Comment About Their Hell In A Cell Match

Seth Rollins recently admitted that he was very upset with Vince McMahon after the finish to his 2019 Universal championship Hell In A Cell match with Bray Wyatt. Now Wyatt has responded to his remarks

The former WWE superstar took on his Twitter to respond to the Architect. He indicated that his reaction to the finish was very similar to his opponent:

The 2019 Hell In A Cell PPV saw a newly debuted Fiend facing Seth Rollins in a cell match. The bout ended in Referee stoppage after Wyatt was hit with a sledgehammer by Rollins and buried under weapons.

However, The Fiend rose from under the pile of weapons when the officials were checking on him. He attacked Rollins and incapacitated him with the Mandible Claw. This ending attracted largely negative reactions from fans.

Seth Rollins On His Reaction To Match Against Wyatt

Seth Rollins talked about his reaction to the Hell In A Cell match against Bray Wyatt during his recent appearance on Broken Skull Sessions. Rollins claimed that he wanted to ‘strangle Vince McMahon’ for that finish:

“I put a positive spin on it now because I can look back a year and a half later, but at the time, I came through that curtain and I was ready to strangle Vince McMahon. I’m not kidding you.”

Rollins also talked about the fan reaction to the finish. He revealed which star held him back from talking to Mr. McMahon that night. You can check out his comments here

Bray Wyatt: “I’ll See You All Very Soon”

Former WWE and Universal Champion Bray Wyatt was released on July 31st, 2021. If he is under a 90-day no-compete clause he would be free to sign with another promotion at the end of October. There are some reports stating that Wyatt’s return to wrestling could come a little sooner than that, however.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter recently suggested that Wyatt could debut in AEW on the 9/29 show in Rochester, New York.

“If it is AEW, the talk is that it would be on the 9/29 Dynamite in Rochester, NY, which is Brodie Lee’s home city. If not there or soon after, it would likely be here,” wrote Dave Meltzer.

Wyatt recently returned to social media. He responded to a post from a follower and stated that he will “see you all very soon.”

“Everything will be clear. I’ll see you all very soon. Revenge is a confession of pain.”

Bray Wyatt Comments on Big E Winning The WWE Championship

Wyatt also took the time to comment on Big E winning the WWE Championship recently on RAW. Big E then responded to his comments.

“I am late on this, and I wasn’t there. But Big E is the type of dude that the boys line up to congratulate. It’s a real good look.”
