On Tuesday, to celebrate WWE’s official Bella Twins YouTube channel quickly reaching the 100,000 subscriber milestone, a glowing Brie Bella (well, Brianna Danielson, since we’re talking about the real person) posted a the above new video. Wearing a kimono, she thanks her fans before stripping to a bikini and revealing her newly minted baby bump, which had “THANK YOU” written on it for good measure.
Brianna and husband Bryan “Daniel Bryan” Danielson are expecting their baby some time in the spring. They announced the pregnancy on October 6th, so if you go with the logic that they waited three months (as many couples do), the baby is likely due around WrestleMania 33.
– The Total Bellas preview clip above features an understandably emotional Daniel Bryan, discussing the end of his career with his wife Brie Bella. Daniel insists that he could conceivably return to wrestling, but Brie asks him to step back and look at the bigger picture. Brie knows it’s hard for Bryan to retire, but notes that his health is important to her. Bryan becomes frantic and paces about, before losing all composure.
– WWE claimed on RAW last night that Paul Heyman suffered an injury at the hands of Goldberg, and was taken to a local medical facility. WWE announced a storyline update earlier this afternoon and said Heyman was released from the hospital with bruised ribs. Heyman had the following to say regarding Brock Lesnar and Goldberg:
SmackDown General Manager Daniel Bryan and wife Brie Bella will be having a baby girl next spring. The couple just revealed the news to WWE.com on Thursday.
“I’m so excited we’re having a little girl,” Bryan said. “I’m sure that, just like her mother, she’s going to steal my heart.”
Brie also expressed her excitement. “When I found out it was a girl, I actually got really emotional. I have such an amazing relationship with my mom and I think, wow, I’m going to have that with my daughter. Also, as a woman, I now have my own blood to follow my legacy. It’s such a special feeling — my mini me!”
Daniel Bryan’s battle with depression will be covered on this week’s episode of Total Bellas on E!, as seen in the preview clip above.
Brie brings up Bryan battling depression and anxiety while at the spa with her sister Nikki. Brie says in the clip:
“What a lot of people don’t know about my husband is he’s been battling depression since he was 25. And really our whole relationship I’ve been used to his depression, but definitely in the last two years I know, OK it comes, it hits hard, but it only lasts for two days.
I’ve always told him, ‘Go to therapy or see someone.’ And I’ve always left it for him to decide who he wants to tell, how he wants to tell people.”
WWE couple Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella are expecting their first child together in the spring of 2017, according to E! News. They do not know the sex of the child yet.
Bryan commented to E!, “The day we found out, I just couldn’t stop smiling. We are so excited to be parents. Every time I look at Brie’s stomach, I’m amazed that there is a little life in there.”
Brie said, “It has always been a dream of mine to become a mother. Now that it is finally real, it fills me up with so much happiness. I can’t wait to see my husband, Bryan, be a father to our child. I am so excited for this new chapter in our lives.”
– It looks as though production is getting ready to begin once again on WWE Studios’ “The Fall Guy.” The film, which will be the first WWE Studios project to star Dwayne Johnson, was originally optioned in July 2010 and went through continuous revisions for four years. The Rock signed on to star in the film in September of 2013. The film features a Hollywood Stuntman by the name of Colt Seavers, who moonlights as a bounty hunter using his unordinary abilities. According to IMDB, Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz—of X-Men: First Class—are writing the script and the director will be McG, who’s directed blockbuster films like Charlie’s Angels and Terminator Salvation.
– To celebrate 700,000 subscribers on his “UpUpDownDown” YouTube channel, WWE Tag Team Champion Xavier Woods plays Destiny with Big Show:
– The newest WWE Top 10 features Cruiserweight Classic exclusive maneuvers, seen here:
– Below are photos of Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella from Sunday night’s 68th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards. As noted, Bryan and Brie worked the E! Entertainment Television pre-show before the ceremony:
Brie Bella and Bray Wyatt have been scanned for 2K Sports’ WWE 2K17 video game, and Pixelgun Studio has posted the below photos from their scans online. As noted, WWE Hall of Famer Alundra Blayze was also recently scanned for the game.
WWE 2K17 is expected to be released in October on PS3, PS4, Xbox One and Xbox 360 consoles. It will be the eighteenth game in the WWE games series and the third under the “WWE 2K” banner.
Brie Bella has confirmed her retirement from pro wrestling. Reports surfaced a few months ago that she would be retiring this summer to start a family with Daniel Bryan. Last month, Pro Wrestling Sheet broke the news that that Brie would be retiring early, in part due to Bryan’s retirement and his reported health issues.
On Monday, she posted this heartfelt message after her what would be her retirement match at WrestleMania 32.

During a Twitter Q&A session on Tuesday, she commented further.
– At WrestleMania 32, Charlotte will defend the Divas Championship against Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks in a Triple Threat Match. This may not be the only Divas contest on the show as Julie Youngberg, a costume designer and seamstress for WWE, indicated on Twitter that Paige and Brie Bella will be competing at WrestleMania as well.
“Had a brainstorming session today @BellaTwins Brie, @RealPaigeWWE and @BeckyLynchWWE are gonna b having their own fight 4 the best dressed diva for mania,” she wrote Saturday. “So happy w what I’m doing :) thanks girls 4 making this fun for me I’m excited.”
Youngberg added, “No hints….Mania must b a surprise. But I’ll take plenty up close pics and after they walk down the ramp I can show them all the madness!”
– Rarely seen NXT talent Dylan Miley faced Apollo Crews on Saturday at the WWE Experience event at the 2016 Arnold Sports Festival in Columbus, Ohio. It was his first match since last March, where he competed at a WrestleMania Axxess event against Marcus Louis (it was Miley’s debut match, which he won).
– John Cena tweeted the following on Monday morning, noting that he continues to work 12 hours a day to ‘defy science.’ It appears that Cena is talking about returning to action in time for WrestleMania, which would be a miraculous recovery period following shoulder surgery, even for John Cena.
Alright #DAYTONA500 fun is over. Back to work. Putting in 12 hours a day for the past 6 weeks to try and defy science. It's make or break ⏰
– Brie Bella wore Daniel Bryan’s WrestleMania XXX kickpads for her Divas championship match against Charlotte last night at Fastlane tonight. Unfortunately for Brie, her husband’s kickpads were not enough to get her a win against Charlotte. Backstage after the show, Brie spoke about the match, noting that she still has her pride and dignity even though she didn’t win the title.
Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella appeared on ABC’s “Good Morning America” this morning to discuss Daniel Bryan’s retirement from WWE due to concussions. Here are some highlights from the appearance:
– Bryan revealed that he had been hiding his post-concussion seizures from Brie until she witnessed one, which she called heart breaking. Bryan said that he begged her not to tell anyone because he knew WWE would end his career if they knew what he was going through.
– When asked about wrestling being “fake,” Bryan said, “It’s not real and it’s not fake. When I get slammed, I am really getting slammed, but I’m helping him slam me.”
– Brie was asked about the rumors that she is also looking to hang up the boots. She confirmed that the news is true and that her retirement announcement will probably come “this summer.”
Brie Bella will be ending her WWE career soon, according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio. The news shouldn’t come as a major surprise in light of her husband Daniel Bryan’s big retirement speech last week and both of them talking about wanting to start a family soon.
Brie is currently scheduled to face Charlotte for the Divas Championship this weekend at Fastlane. It’s possible that Brie will stick around until after WrestleMania 32, but it’s believed she will be finishing up with the company sooner than later.
The news of Brie’s looming retirement comes as her sister Nikki is undergoing vigorous rehabilitation following neck fusion surgery.
WWE.com cameras caught up with Daniel Bryan his wife Brie Bella as they arrived at Seattle’s KeyArena for tonight’s Monday Night RAW. Brie was asked about Bryan’s retirement and admitted that she will probably get emotional tonight. It’s incredibly hard for her to see her husband’s dream ripped away from him, but he’s a very positive person and they are both looking forward to starting a family together and the next chapter of their lives.
Total Divas is back this Tuesday (January 19th) at 9:00 p.m. ET on E! Entertainment Television, which means that WWE has started to push out all sorts of promotional material for the show’s season premiere. For example, Paige revealing that she has a concussion was part of an interview promoting the premiere, E! is running more Total Divas content on their website again, and even In Touch Weekly’s website got in on the act by featuring a Rosa Mendes baby bump photo. Of course, it also means that WWE has released preview clips for the episode on their YouTube channel.
In the first clip, Brie Bella/Brianna Danielson (remember, Total Divas is weird about names) and husband Daniel Bryan/Bryan Danielson talk to someone about some business proposal of her’s. Somehow, Bryan’s gardening and jelly/jam-making hobby play into this. In the brief clip, he does talk about how there’s now the possibility that he may be done wrestling.
Then there’s the resolution to last season’s cliffhanger, as Dolph Ziggler/Nick Nemeth says he could give Nikki Bella/Nicole Garcia-Colace babies and marriage if they got back together. Then he tries to kiss her in front of her and John Cena’s bus. This does not go well.
Later, she finally tells Cena. It looks like it may not go well, but they cut it off before “it gets good.” I guess we’ll have to tune in to find out what happens next, unfortunately.
The fifth season of WWE’s “Total Divas” reality show is set to premiere on the E! network on Tuesday, January 19th at 9pm EST.
According to the official Total Divas mini-site at EOnline.com, the top two storylines being used to promote the upcoming fifth season of the show include the latest chapter in the marriage saga between John Cena and Nikki Bella, as well as possible trouble in paradise between newlyweds Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella.
“We can talk about marriage,” John says to Nikki in a preview clip circulating for the show.
“You’re my No. 1,” Brie Bella says to her husband Daniel Bryan in the preview.
“Clearly not,” he says to her in response.
– WWE continues to tease a possible heel turn for WWE Divas Champion Charlotte. They wrote the following in their official preview for tonight’s edition of RAW:
“We’re seeing a different side of Charlotte lately, and it’s not one that agrees with the Divas Champion’s longtime friend, Becky Lynch. On Raw, the daughter of two-time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair took a page out of her dad’s playbook when she feigned an injury to take Becky off her game and steal a victory over The Lass Kicker in what was supposed to be a friendly bout. Then, on SmackDown, a hot-headed Charlotte got Becky disqualified in her match with Brie Bella. Although Charlotte’s interference was in retaliation after Brie accidentally knocked the Divas Champion down at ringside, the second-generation Diva seemingly had no regard for how her actions would affect her friend. Are we now seeing the “real” Charlotte?”
– After being sent home last week due to a “bad flu bug,” WWE Intercontinental Champion Kevin Owens is expected to make his WWE television return on tonight’s RAW. Owens made his in-ring return at the WWE live event on Saturday evening in Fayetteville, North Carolina, losing to Dean Ambrose.
Make sure to visit SEScoops.com later this evening for live WWE RAW play-by-play results coverage!
– NXT Champion Finn Balor is on the road with the main WWE roster for this weekend’s non-televised live events.
– Instead of shopping on Black Friday, former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan is supporting International Buy Nothing Day. He posted a photo of someone holding a “Buy Nothing Day” sign on his official Instagram page today, accompanied by the following write-up:
“Today I’m participating Buy Nothing Day, an international protest against consumerism. And more than just this one day, my goal is to buy much less and to give/experience much more this holiday season. One of the most radical things we can do in today’s society is to buy nothing.”
– Speaking of Black Friday, coincidentally enough, Bryan’s wife — Brie Bella — is featured on the advertisement WWE has been pushing today to promote their Black Friday specials at WWE Shop. WWE tweeted the following:
– In the “holiday spirit” department, WWE Chairman Vince McMahon, along with longtime top WWE Superstar and the star of the new FOX reality show “American Grit,” John Cena, posted the following Thanksgiving messages on Twitter today.
Today is the day to truly remember what we’re thankful for in life. Happy Thanksgiving to the WWE Universe.
– In keeping with the Thanksgiving theme, WWE.com is running a poll today asking fans which WWE Superstar they are the most thankful for. The options include Roman Reigns, John Cena, Dean Ambrose, Charlotte, The Undertaker, Brock Lesnar, Randy Orton, The New Day, Dolph Ziggler, Paige, The Dudley Boyz, Cesaro, Daniel Bryan, The Usos, Kane, Nikki Bella, Brie Bella, Ryback, Natalya and “Other.” Leading the pack with 17 percent is The Undertaker, followed by Roman Reigns (14%), Dean Ambrose (12%), John Cena (10%), Cesaro (7%) and The New Day (7%).
– SEScoops.com would like to wish everyone a healthy and happy Thanksgiving!
WWE taped the following matches on Tuesday night in Knoxville, Tennessee for this week’s edition of WWE Main Event.
– The Usos def. Adam Rose & Brad Maddox in tag-team action to kick off the show. Rose and Maddox, both of whom had blonde hair, cut a promo before the match. The finish in this one saw The Usos score the pin after a top-rope splash.
– JoJo interviews The Prime Time Players backstage. Titus O’Neil will be in action later against Heath Slater.
– Naomi def. Alicia Fox via submission in Divas action. Tamina Snuka and Sasha Banks were at ringside with Naomi, while Brie Bella was out with Fox.
– Titus O’Neil def. Heath Slater in the final match taped for this week’s show. The Prime Time Players member got the win with his finisher in the end, in a match that was said to be somewhat flat.
– Veteran wrestling journalist Bill Apter released the above video on Sunday to share his thoughts on the passing of wrestling legend Nick Bockwinkel, who passed away this past weekend at age 80.
– The new WWE Studios film, “Santa’s Little Helper” starring The Miz and Paige will be released in stores and on-demand on Tuesday.
– WWE taped the following two matches on Monday night in Greenville, South Carolina prior to RAW for this week’s edition of WWE Superstars.
* Brie Bella def. Naomi in Divas action to kick off the evening at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena. This was said to be a pretty basic Divas match, which Brie won via pinfall.
* Titus O’Neil def. Bo Dallas in the second of two matches taped for this week’s WWE Superstars. The crowd was actually pretty into this match live in the arena.
As reported earlier this week, the Bella Twins were given permission by WWE to leave the current U.K. tour early, as the twin sisters had plans to take their grandmother to London and Paris for her 83rd birthday. As it turns out, Nikki and Brie were in Paris when the terrorist attacks took place on Friday.
The Bella Twins both posted photos from the L’Hotel, a five-star hotel in Paris that is located approximately 15 minutes away from the Bataclan concert hall, which is where over 100 people were killed and others were taken hostage.
Nikki and Brie are reportedly still in Paris, and while they have yet to post on Twitter or Instagram since the attacks occurred, their brother J.J. Garcia, who has appeared with them on Total Divas on multiple occasions, took to Twitter to inform Bella Twins fans that his sisters are safe.
J.J. posted the following on Twitter. Also below are photos that The Bella Twins posted from inside the L’Hotel in Paris.
– After joining the tour in progress due to the fact that she was on the sidelines with what has been described as “nagging injuries,” former WWE Divas Champion Nikki Bella left the WWE U.K. tour early this week to take her grandmother to London and Paris for her 83rd birthday. As it turns out, Brie Bella joined the two, so it appears that she is taking off the last leg of the current WWE overseas tour as well.
– Also taking off the last leg of the current WWE tour is one-half of The Prime Time Players, Titus O’Neil. He mentioned on his official Instagram page that he woke up in Rome on Thursday morning, but would be sleeping at his home in Tampa, Florida on Thursday evening. He added that he couldn’t wait to see his sons.
— The official WWE website has confirmed that Tatanka has signed a Legends contract. Tatanka had previously wrote on Facebook that he would be seeing fans in Dallas during WrestleMania 32 week. Here’s the company’s official statement:
As he announced via Twitter Monday, Tatanka — a mainstay of WWE programming in both the early 1990s and mid-2000s — has signed a WWE Legends contract. The Native American Superstar was a fan favorite in the WWE Universe, appearing in several WrestleManias, crushing opponents with his End of the Trail finishing maneuver and wowing fans with his signature war dance. Please join WWE in congratulating Tatanka.
If you miss Daniel Bryan, then here’s a brand new 25 minutes of him for you to watch. He’s in his element…well, the one that isn’t pro wrestling. As many fans are aware of, one of Bryan’s biggest passions is the environment, with a goal of being able to be fully self-sustainable.
Along with his wife Brie Bella in their alter-egos of Bryan and Brianna Danielson, they talk with “The Vegan Athlete” Jake Mace about desert gardening in the video embedded above. Being that he’s been out of action for a while but not necessarily injured, he’s able to remain active and has been building up a garden behind his and Brianna’s house. Being that they live in Phoenix, Arizona, this is easier said than done.
In the video, Bryan talks about going to Mace’s tour of his house nearby, where he has a gigantic garden outside. So being that he grew up gardening in the much more forgiving climate, Mace was a good starting point for learning how to get a garden going in the desert. They talk about growing cherry trees, kale, and all sorts of other good stuff. It’s actually pretty interesting, so check it out.
WWE taped the following matches in Austin, Texas on Tuesday night for this week’s edition of WWE Main Event.
– The Dudley Boyz def. The Ascension in a tag-team dark match put on for the live crowd in Austin, Texas. The Dudleyz picked up the win via pinfall after a 3D.
– Sasha Banks def. Brie Bella in the first match taped for WWE Main Event this week. Banks picked up the win via her submission finisher.
– Erick Rowan and Braun Strowman def. The Prime Time Players in tag-team action for the second match of Main Event. Strowman won the match via bearhug submission over Titus O’Neil.
– Kevin Owens def. Neville in non-title action. The Intercontinental Champion beat Neville after throwing him face-first into the middle turnbuckle and then hitting him with his Pop-Up Powerbomb finisher for the 1-2-3. This was the final match taped for this week’s Main Event.
