Paul Heyman’s Next Client: Which WWE Star Is Next to Join the Heyman Hustle?

Paul Heyman has a long history of managing clients in the pro wrestling world. The Bloodline might not last forever, especially as the road to WrestleMania 40 becomes even more tumultuous. There are many more Superstars in WWE who may benefit from Heyman’s guidance, and we collected a list to explore a few options.

Throughout his career, Heyman has managed many top names including Brock Lesnar, CM Punk, Kurt Angle, Big Show, Rob Van Dam, The Dudley Boyz, Steve Austin, Rick Rude, and Matt Hardy. Additionally, Heyman has had stints managing factions such as The Dangerous Alliance in WCW and The Dangerous Alliance and The Alliance in WWE. That doesn’t even count his position as The Bloodline’s Wise Man

Brock Lesnar is no longer in any WWE creative plans due to his name being connected to Janel Grant’s lawsuit. I asked just last week and was able to confirm that is still the case, and Lesnar’s name is not coming up in any creative fashion. Since the Beast Incarnate’s return to WWE might take a long while, let’s see who might be next for Heyman if the Bloodline implodes.

Bron Breakker

It seems that Breakker is the #1 candidate to become the next Paul Heyman Guy after The Wise Man’s Bloodline tenure is over. Heyman paid special attention to Breakker during SmackDown, as he made extra effort to introduce himself. Heyman and Breakker also had a segment on NXT months ago. The former NXT Champion also has all the tools needed to become a breakout star for the main roster once he can get things moving for himself after his NXT obligations are over.

GUNTHER

GUNTHER’s imposing presence and hard-hitting style would make him a perfect candidate for Paul Heyman’s stable. Heyman could amplify the IC Champion’s intimidating persona and help him become a dominant force in WWE, both in the ring and on the microphone. The Ring General has a pretty great thing going with Imperium right now, but that stable has showed signs of cracks in the past, and GUNTHER’s domination in WWE will not end with the stable’s eventual demise.

Pete Dunne

The former Butch is known for his intense in-ring style and captivating presence. Triple H gave Pete Dunne is name back, and the Brawling Brutes is now over. He teamed up with Tyler Bate, and they are getting a chance as a tandem. Some would say that Dunne may thrive under Paul Heyman’s guidance. Heyman could help Dunne further develop his character and storytelling abilities, solidifying his status as a top star in WWE.

Dexter Lumis

With his unique character and silent intensity, Dexter Lumis would be an intriguing addition to Paul Heyman’s stable. Heyman could help Lumis further develop his character and storytelling abilities, positioning him as a standout star in WWE. If anything, it would give Lumis something to do. I’ve asked around about his status many times, and I’ve been told that he’s not injured. Hopefully, WWE will figure out a way to use the serial killer with a heart of gold soon.

Raquel Rodriguez

As the current NXT Women’s Champion, Raquel Rodriguez has already proven herself as a dominant force in WWE. With Paul Heyman’s guidance, she could further elevate her character and mic skills, establishing herself as a top star on the main roster. She hasn’t been able to find her footing on the main roster since her call-up, although she has seen glimpses of good booking. Perhaps, Heyman advocating for her may do the trick.

Shotzi Blackheart

With her unique look, high-flying style, and charismatic personality, Shotzi Blackheart would be an excellent addition to Paul Heyman’s stable of clients. Heyman could help Blackheart refine her character and mic skills, positioning her as a standout star in WWE’s women’s division. Sadly, Shotzi is out of action with a knee injury which will keep her on the shelf for a majority of 2024, but her return as a Paul Heyman Girl may be just what she needs.

Rhea Ripley

The Nightmare could be a good fit as a Paul Heyman Girl due to her distinct appearance, impressive in-ring skills, and ability on the microphone. Ripley’s unique look and imposing presence make her stand out performer. With Heyman’s guidance, Ripley could further develop her in-ring storytelling and refine her microphone skills, enhancing her ability to connect with the audience and establish herself as a dominant force in the women’s division. She is currently in the Judgment Day, but that stable may open the door to Heyman swooping in eventually.

There are many options for WWE Superstars that would make fine Paul Heyman clients. SEScoops will have continued coverage of WWE, just in case any of these prospective pairings becomes a reality.

GUNTHER: We May Never See Brock Lesnar Again But I’m Wide Open For A Match

GUNTHER is aware that his dream match with Brock Lesnar is unlikely but he’s not ready to give up hope just yet.

The prospect of the Ring General Vs. The Beast has been of great interest to the WWE Universe for some time. In late 2022, it was reported that GUNTHER Vs. Lesnar was in the works for WrestleMania 39. That didn’t happen as Lesnar faced Omos in LA while the Intercontinental Champion retained against Drew McIntyre and Sheamus.

GUNTHER On Brock Lesnar Match

Recently, Brock Lesnar was pulled from all WWE plans due to his reported ties to Janel Grant’s lawsuit against Vince McMahon. While Lesnar isn’t mentioned by name, Miss Grant alleges that McMahon trafficked her to a former UFC Heavyweight Champion believed to be the Beast.

WWE had plans for Lesnar Vs. GUNTHER at WrestleMania 40 before plans changed. Speaking with GV Wire, the Imperium leader addressed the potential Lesnar match given the current circumstances.

“I always was vocal about my dream match in the past, but that fell through now. I don’t know if we’ll see Brock again if that’s ever going to happen. But I’m wide open when it comes to that as of now.”

What’s Next?

Lesnar had been scheduled to face Dominik Mysterio at WWE Elimination Chamber: Perth but that is no longer the case. Lesnar’s name is similarly not being brought up regarding plans for WrestleMania 40.

The future looks far brighter for GUNTHER. The Austrian is mere days away from breaking the record for the most collective days as Intercontinental Champion. GUNTHER broke the record for the longest individual title reign in September of last year.

Absence of Brock Lesnar

It is interesting that Brock Lesnar is not featured in any matches on this announcement. After all, the Beast Incarnate breaking The Undertaker’s undefeated streak at WrestleMania XX is a strange omission from those amazing matches.

He was pulled from the cover of WWE 2K24’s Forty Years of WrestleMania edition after his connection to the allegations in Janel Grant’s lawsuit.

Brock Lesnar’s name did not appear in Janel Grant’s lawsuit against Vince McMahon, WWE, and John Laurinaitis. However, the mention of a former UFC Heavyweight Champion negotiating a new contract with WWE raised concerns for Lesnar. Now, he is being erased.

It will be interesting to see if 2K will be able to take him out of the game completely. That may be hard to do this late in the game’s process. They certainly avoided including him in this announcement, if he is still featured at all.

2K has already removed Lesnar from their SuperCard mobile game, and it appears he will not be featured in WWE 2K24. It was also reported that they will make efforts to remove him from the game.

Brock Lesnar didn’t make his planned WWE return during the 2024 Royal Rumble event after Janel Grant’s lawsuit dropped. There is a belief that he may not be back.

WWE 2K24 Release Information

Three editions of WWE 2K24 will be available, including the Deluxe Edition, Forty Years of WrestleMania Edition, and Standard Edition, with release dates staggered worldwide in March 2024. Stay tuned for additional information on the game’s soundtrack, roster, Superstar ratings, and more.

SE Scoops will have continued coverage of WWE 2K24, and everything else in the pro wrestling world.

Brock Lesnar Erased: WWE Takes Huge Step To Scrub Him from Company History Amid Janel Grant Lawsuit

Brock Lesnar was not explicitly named in Janel Grant’s lawsuit against WWE, Vince McMahon, and John Laurinaitis. A former UFC Heavyweight Champion was mentioned, and a WWE contract was under discussion. It was alleged that this wrestler asked Grant for a pee video and then wanted to hook-up as part of his contract renewal. Now, TKO Group Holdings is taking action.

WWE Erasing Brock Lesnar

WWE has now decided to erase Brock Lesnar from the company’s opening intro video. This is a move that goes to solidify the fact that he is not coming back any time soon, if ever.

The company also has zero creative for Lesnar at the moment. He was previously set to take on Dominik Mysterio at Elimination Chamber in Australia and GUNTHER at WrestleMania 40 prior to those earth-shattering allegations dropping from Janel Grant’s lawsuit.

Brock Lesnar Erased From WWE 2K24

TKO stated that they would take action on this matter, and the fact is that Endeavor is a much different company from WWE. They may have found enough to warrant a full distancing from Lesnar, but at this time we have not heard about any release situation.

Brock Lesnar was taken out of WWE 2K24’s Forty Years of WrestleMania cover, a move that caused them to shift some people around on the cover. John Cena ended up getting Lesnar’s spot in a much more prominent placement.

WWE also took Lesnar out of 2K’s SuperCard game. It remains to be seen how much 2K will be able to take Vince McMahon and Brock Lesnar out of the game. They may be able to totally erase them from the files, and it appears that could be the case.

SE Scoops will have continued coverage of WWE’s sage with Brock Lesnar. There are some under the belief that he may never be back at this point.

Brock Lesnar Removed From WWE 2K24 ‘Forty Years Of WrestleMania’ Cover Art

Brock Lesnar’s name did not appear in Janel Grant’s lawsuit against Vince McMahon, WWE, and John Laurinaitis. However, the mention of a former UFC Heavyweight Champion negotiating a new contract with WWE raised concerns for Lesnar. Now, he is being erased.

WWE 2K24 Taking out Brock Lesnar

2K has already removed Lesnar from their SuperCard mobile game, and it appears he will not be featured in WWE 2K24. It was also reported that they will make efforts to remove him from the game.

Now, those changes are being seen. A new cover of the Forty Years of WrestleMania is out, and Lesnar is gone, He was replaced by John Cena on the cover. They did not add anyone to the new cover, but they shuffled things around to make Cena larger and take the Beast Incarnate out.

The lawsuit from Grant alleges that Lesnar requested a video of Grant urinating and proposed a “play date” as part of his contract negotiations. Despite the date not materializing as planned, the lawsuit alleges it eventually occurred.

What’s Next For Brock Lesnar in WWE

Brock Lesnar didn’t make his planned WWE return during the 2024 Royal Rumble event after Janel Grant’s lawsuit dropped. There is a belief that he may not be back.

Lesnar made big money for WWE for years. There is an assumption in WWE that if Vince McMahon was still in charge, then Lesnar would be booked despite the allegations against him. Of course, Vince is the reason why Lesnar is in this situation in the first place now.

As of this writing, Lesnar’s camp has not responded to this lawsuit. Vince already denied everything, and Johnny Ace is claiming to be a victim in the situation.

Efforts To Remove Brock Lesnar From WWE 2K24 Are Underway

Brock Lesnar didn’t make his planned WWE return after Janel Grant’s lawsuit dropped. There is a belief that he may not be back, and gamers anticipating laying out their friends with Lesnar’s F5 in WWE 2k24 might be a bit bummed right now.

Allegations Against Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar was not named in Janel Grant’s lawsuit against Vince McMahon, WWE and John Laurinaitis. A former UFC Heavyweight Champion who was working on a new contract with WWE was mentioned, and that was not a good look for Lesnar.

It is alleged that the Beast Incarnate wanted a video of Grant urinating, and then he wanted a “play date” as part of his new contract. The date couldn’t be arranged, but it happened, according to the damning allegations in the lawsuit.

Brock Lesnar Getting Erased By 2K

2K Already nixed Lesnar from their SuperCard mobile game. Now, the former Universal Champion is seemingly out of WWE 2K24. Mike Johnson reported on PW Insider that 2k is making strides to remove Lesnar from the game

It would appear that 2K, as a licensee for WWE, is following the company’s lead after WWE backed off on using Lesnar last weekend at the Royal Rumble event.

“Going forward, PWInsider.com has been told by sources familiar to the matter that we should expect to see Lesnar downplayed (if not outright removed as he was in the Supercard game) as much as possible going forward by 2K and potentially other licensees.”

Lesnar was scheduled to make his return and kick off his WrestleMania season storyline. However, in light of the lawsuit filed by Janel Grant against WWE, Vince McMahon, and John Laurinaitis a few days prior, the company decided to ‘withdraw’ Lesnar’s participation.

WWE’s Plan For Brock Lesnar

WWE planned for Brock Lesnar to face Dominik Mysterio at Elimination Chamber and then GUNTHER at WrestleMania. The company was forced to figure out other things after Lesnar was pulled from creative.

Although Bron Breakker replaced Lesnar in the Royal Rumble match, and solidified his main roster call-up, I was told that he is not getting Lesnar’s planned matches at Chamber and Mania. I also exclusively reported that he will be on the RAW brand when he gets things going.

Brock Lesnar Merch Moved to Sale Section Amid Vince McMahon Trafficking Lawsuit

WWE’s own merchandise online shop may have given the biggest clue to date regarding Brock Lesnar’s future (or lack thereof) in the promotion.

Last week, Janel Grant filed a lawsuit against WWE and Vince McMahon, alleging that she has been abused and trafficked by the former Chairman. While McMahon has denied all allegations against him, he stepped down from WWE/TKO shortly after Slim Jim suspended its sponsorship deal with the wrestling promotion. John Lauriniatis, who is named in the lawsuit, has stated that he is a victim in this disturbing situation and not a predator.

Brock Lesnar Update

While Brock Lesnar isn’t named in the lawsuit, the paperwork alleges that Grant was trafficked to a former UFC Heavyweight Champion, believed to be the part-time Superstar. Lesnar was subsequently pulled from the Royal Rumble Premium Live Event as well as the WWE 2K Supercard game. There are reportedly some in WWE who believe that Lesnar is finished with the company due to the scandal.

Now, WWE has given arguably their biggest signal to date that Lesnar’s WWE career is over. PW Insider reports that the vast majority of Brock Lesnar merchandise has been moved to the sale section of WWEShop.com. While this shouldn’t be seen as confirmation of an exit, WWE typically reduces the price of merchandise they have released from the company.

WWE sources who spoke to PW Insider added that right now, Lesnar is “off the table” when it comes to creative pitches. Brock Lesnar has not publicly commented on the allegations in Miss Grant’s lawsuit against WWE and Vince McMahon.

WWE Creative Shake-Up: Brock Lesnar Pulled from All Future Plans

Brock Lesnar is one of the biggest Superstars that WWE has on their roster. Despite his massive name, TKO Group Holdings is taking action after he was associated in the damning lawsuit that broke the pro wrestling world wide open.

WWE’s Creative Plan For Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar’s name was not explicitly mentioned in Janel Grant’s massive lawsuit, but a former UFC Heavyweight Champion was mentioned.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that, after Vince McMahon’s initial “retirement” when the hush money scandal first broke, Lesnar did not take it very well at all. He threatened to quit, and Triple H had to step in.

When the news of Vince’s retirement broke, Lesnar stormed out of the building and said he was not coming back, which resulted in plans having to be changed for SummerSlam. However, after being talked with by management, believed to be Levesque, he returned and did his originally scheduled angle and continue to work major events for the company. Stephanie opened the show talking in glowing terms about her father to a cheering crowd, leading to a loud “Thank you Vince” chant.

It was further noted that Brock is no longer in any creative plans for WWE at this time. He is not likely to be used any time soon.

There are no plans at this time to use Lesnar. Given his star power, saying this is forever is probably foolish. But it’s likely not going to be any time soon. Lesnar has been the company’s first or second highest paid wrestler and one of its most protected stars for the past dozen years, and the fact he’s out of WrestleMania and his future is in jeopardy is amazing because of how little attention it’s gotten.

We also previously reported that there is a belief within WWE that Brock Lesnar may be done for good. At this time, we only know that he is off the road to WrestleMania 40.

Accusations Surrounding Brock Lesnar’s Involvement

The decision to remove Lesnar from creative plans follows his connection to Janel Grant’s lawsuit against WWE, Vince McMahon, and John Laurinaitis. The lawsuit alleges McMahon’s involvement in sexual assault, abuse, degradation, and trafficking.

Grant claims that her sexual services were part of negotiations involving Lesnar, with McMahon facilitating the arrangement without her consent. Lesnar allegedly requested a video of her urinating before a planned encounter that never took place. The lawsuit outlines McMahon providing Lesnar with Grant’s personal cellphone number and explicit content as well.

Lesnar, who was initially set for a WWE comeback at the Royal Rumble, faced repercussions from the lawsuit. He was replaced by Bron Breakker in the Rumble match. Despite these developments, Lesnar has not publicly addressed the allegations.

WWE Removes Brock Lesnar From Game

Brock Lesnar was also removed from WWE’s 2k SuperCard game. It was also reported that the expectation is that Lesnar will be minimized, if not removed completely, from merchandising as well as other promotional material.

It appears that Lesnar is out of WWE’s creative plans now, which nixes WrestleMania for him. He was previously set to face GUNTHER at the show of shows. Although it is a moot point now, it is unknown whether that match would have been for the IC Title.

Brock Lesnar Removed From WWE SuperCard Game By 2K After Janel Grant’s Allegations Surfaced

Brock Lesnar’s name was not explicitly mentioned in Janel Grant’s massive lawsuit, but a former UFC Heavyweight Champion was mentioned. It didn’t take many connected dots to figure out that Lesnar was involved, and now he is off a popular WWE game.

Brock Lesnar is Off SuperCard

Content featuring Brock Lesnar has been removed from the WWE SuperCard game. The digital collectible card game, published by 2K Games, is available on mobile platforms. Now, fans will not find Lesnar on the game.

PW Insider was the first to report and confirm this latest development for the Beast Incarnate. Although this does not mean Lesnar is gone from WWE, erasing him from this kind of platform is very interesting.

Sources cited in the PW Insider report suggested that 2K plans to downplay Lesnar’s presence in the game and potentially limit his visibility with other licensees. The WWE 2K24 console game by 2K, set for release on March 8, might also reflect this approach.

Allegations Against Brock Lesnar

This decision to remove Lesnar’s content from the SuperCard game comes in the aftermath of his involvement in a lawsuit filed against WWE, Vince McMahon, and John Laurinaitis by Janel Grant. The lawsuit accuses McMahon of sexual assault, abuse, degradation, and trafficking.

Grant alleges that her sexual services were offered to Lesnar as part of contract negotiations, with McMahon facilitating the exchange. Lesnar also allegedly wanted a video of her urinating prior to their play date that never went down. The lawsuit details McMahon providing Lesnar with Grant’s personal cellphone number and explicit content.

Lesnar, who was poised to return to WWE programming, faced implications from the lawsuit. He was initially planned as an entrant in the recent Royal Rumble match but was replaced by Bron Breakker. Despite these developments, Lesnar has not issued a public statement addressing the allegations.

SE Scoops will have more on Brock Lesnar’s ongoing saga as things continue developing. As of this writing, it appears that he is off the road to WrestleMania, where a planned match against GUNTHER was set to take place.

Belief Within WWE That Brock Lesnar May Be Finished With The Company

Brock Lesnar was set for the 2024 Royal Rumble event, where he would have been a part of the big over the top rope match. He was replaced by Bron Breakker in that match, and now there is a lot of doubt that Lesnar will be back any time soon.

Brock Lesnar May Not Be Back In WWE

Lesnar’s name was not explicitly mentioned in the earth-shattering lawsuit that Janel Grant filed against Vince McMahon, WWE and John Laurinaitis. A former UFC Heavyweight Champion who was a WWE Superstar talking about a new contract at the time was mentioned. This didn’t paint Lesnar in the best light at all.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer mentioned that he has heard from some people who believe that Brock Lesnar may not ever be back in WWE. Then again, with a name that draws the kind of money that Lesnar does, you can never say never.

“As far as what happens next, I don’t know. It appears that Brock Lesnar is not going to be around for a while, some people think ever, you know, when it comes to talent I hate to say ‘forever,’ because it is almost never the case, because if someone can draw they almost always find their way back. As far as Vince, I cannot imagine Vince coming back this time.”

Brock Lesnar’s Link to Vince McMahon Lawsuit

The Janel Grant lawsuit did not specify a wrestler but described one as both a former UFC Heavyweight Champion fighter and WWE talent. Given the timeline of 2021, it’s relatively easy to narrow down those choices, although it’s important to note that Brock Lesnar was not explicitly named.

The lawsuit mentioned that McMahon shared explicit photos with the WWE Superstar, who stated, “he likes what he sees.” Four WWE Producers and television production techs were also alleged to have received this explicit content.

In March 2020, McMahon began sharing sexually explicit photographs and videos of Ms. Grant (including pornographic content he recorded) with other men both inside and outside the company, including with members of the television production “tech” team, executive(s), 4 producer(s), and a world-famous athlete and former UFC Heavyweight Champion with whom WWE was actively trying to sign to a new contract (and ultimately did sign that contract).

In December of the same year, McMahon allegedly provided Grant’s personal cellphone number to the unnamed WWE Superstar. The lawsuit claims that the wrestler requested a video of her urinating, and after she complied, he used derogatory language, calling her ‘b*tch.” She was also later informed that sleeping with this talent was part of his contract renewal, although a “play date” could not be arranged.

WWE May Cancel Brock Lesnar WrestleMania Dream Match After Connection To Vince McMahon Allegations

Brock Lesnar was not specifically named in the earth-shattering lawsuit that Janel Grant filed against Vince McMahon, WWE and John Laurinaitis. The Beast Incarnate was heavily implied, as a former UFC Heavyweight Champion was mentioned. Now, that connection to this damning lawsuit has disrupted WrestleMania plans.

Brock Lesnar Plans Changed For The Royal Rumble

Bron Breakker took over Lesnar’s planned creative for the Royal Rumble match. The entry point, eliminations, and his eventual elimination were all originally intended for Lesnar.

I was able to confirm that Breakker was called up to the WWE main roster thanks to that last-minute change. That being said, Breakker will not be taking Lesnar’s planned spot against Dominik Mysterio at the Elimination Chamber premium live event.

WWE’s Original WrestleMania 40 Plans

Dave Meltzer reported during his daily update that Gunther was supposed to face Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania. While it’s not confirmed that they were planned to have as an IC title match, that match is now on hold.

The Lesnar creative which at this point he’s not going to be involved with unless they decide they would bring him back, was Lesnar vs. Dominik Mysterio in Australia and Lesnar vs. Gunther (I don’t know factually an IC title match but one would expect) at WrestleMania. Whether Bron Breakker gets those matches is not clear yet.

Brock Lesnar’s Connection To Vince McMahon Lawsuit

The Janel Grant lawsuit didn’t specify any wrestler but described one as both a former UFC Heavyweight Champion fighter and WWE talent. Given the timeline is 2021, it’s pretty easy to narrow down those choices, although it is important to reiterate that Brock Lesnar was not named.

The lawsuit stated that McMahon shared explicit photos with the WWE Superstar, who said that, “he likes what he sees.” Four WWE Producers and television production techs were also allegedly received this explicit content.

The lawsuit claims that the wrestler requested a video of her urinating, and after she complied, he used derogatory language, calling her ‘b*tch.” She was also later told that sleeping with this talent was a part of his contract renewal, although a “play date” could not be arranged.

Bron Breakker’s WWE Main Roster Status After Royal Rumble Surprise

The 2024 Royal Rumble event went down in Tropicana Field on Saturday, and the WWE Universe was treated to quite a show. The Rock may not have showed up, but Bron Breakker made his way to the ring in the #20 spot in the Men’s Rumble match. That was a very big moment for his WWE career.

Bron Breakker’s WWE Main Roster Call-Up (Exclusive)

Bron Breakker did not win the 2024 Royal Rumble match, but he had a great showing. The second-generation Superstar, who is son of WWE Hall of Famer Rick Steiner, also had a chance to eliminate some talent from the match.

In the end, Breakker threw out Jimmy Uso, Finn Balor, Ivar, and Omos. Then Dominik Mysterio eliminated the former NXT Champion. As he made his exit, Breakker also nailed JD McDonagh with a spear.

I asked around about Breakker’s status after the 2024 Royal Rumble, and I was told that match marked his official main roster call-up. Bron’s brand has not been determined yet, but the thought is that he will end up on RAW.

I was told that his, “brand is not determined because it happened so fast.” Breakker was a fill-in for Brock Lesnar in the match, because the Beast Incarnate was pulled from the event after his association with Vince McMahon’s lawsuit.

We will have to see how WWE uses Breakker in the weeks to come, because he is now on the main roster, but he was a replacement for Lesnar in the match.

What’s Next For Bron Breakker

Breakker will finish out his time in NXT, because he is still in the 2024 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic with Baron Corbin as his partner. In the past, WWE has allowed talent to appear on the main roster and NXT to wrap things up with the company’s third brand.

The barking in Breakker’s direction during the Royal Rumble match was not lost on anyone backstage. He is coming from NXT after establishing himself and doing practically everything there is to do in the brand. Now, it is his time to take on the main roster.

Brock Lesnar Omitted From WWE Royal Rumble Stats Amid Vince McMahon Lawsuit

Brock Lesnar had no role at this year’s Royal Rumble Premium Live Event, and WWE wanted to make sure nobody was thinking about the Beast Incarnate.

Lesnar was reportedly originally slated for the Men’s Royal Rumble match that was won by Cody Rhodes. Lesnar was ‘withdrawn’ from the match due to the allegations by Janel Grant in her lawsuit filed at WWE and Vince McMahon. The suit claims that McMahon sexually abused and trafficked Grant to men in WWE during her tenure under contract. Lesnar isn’t mentioned by name in the suit, but it is claimed that Grant was trafficked to a former UFC Heavyweight Champion.

Brock Lesnar Omitted

Ahead of the 2024 Men’s Royal Rumble match, WWE aired a video sharing some of the statistics associated with the popular 30-Superstar bout. The video pointed out that five men have won the match from the #30 spot, and named The Undertaker (2007), John Cena (2008), Triple H (2016), and Cody Rhodes (2023). The video did not mention or show Brock Lesnar, who won after entering from the coveted #30 spot in 2022.

This isn’t the first time WWE has made selective choices with Royal Rumble statistics. In years past, WWE has mentioned that four people have won from the dreaded #1 spot. While WWE will mention Shawn Michaels (1995), Edge (2021), or Rhea Ripley’s victory last year, they avoid mentioning Chris Benoit. The disgraced wrestler went pillar-to-post in the 2004 Royal Rumble match, last eliminating the Big Show.

The show didn’t end when the 2024 WWE Royal Rumble PLE stopped filming…

Brock Lesnar ‘Withdrawn’ From WWE Royal Rumble Event After Vince McMahon Lawsuit Controversy

The Royal Rumble is going down in Tropicana Field tonight, and fans are likely to see many surprises. Although Brock Lesnar’s name has come up in some troubling ways over the past couple of days, we have the latest update on his status.

Brock Lesnar’s Royal Rumble Status

Brock Lesnar hasn’t been seen on WWE television since SummerSlam, where he lost to Cody Rhodes. The Beast Incarnate then decided to put Cody over in a big way as he raised his hand to the Ford Field crowd in Detroit.

Sean Ross Sapp reported on Fightful Select that, as of earlier this week, Brock Lesnar was slated to be at the Royal Rumble event. It is currently unknown if those plans have changed after he was strongly alluded to in Janel Grant’s lawsuit.

We’ve confirmed that as of earlier this week, Brock Lesnar was scheduled to travel to Tampa for the Royal Rumble. We aren’t sure if that has changed,

Brock Lesnar Update Doesn’t Look Good For Royal Rumble

PW Insider provided an update on Brock Lesnar’s situation. It was noted after noon that, as of the report, the Beast Incarnate had not started traveling to the Royal Rumble event yet.

It is now the belief that Brock Lesnar has been pulled from their Royal Rumble, because of how he was involved in the Janel Grant’s lawsuit against Vince McMahon.

The terminology one source used was that Lesnar had been “withdrawn” from tonight’s event and the belief was that a WWE NXT talent would be used in Lesnar’s place tonight.

It is also believed that Vince McMahon would have used Lesnar, no matter what. Then again, this whole situation is to blame on Vince. Since TKO is running the show now, Lesnar may not appear at the Royal Rumble at all. It is unclear who that may change his WrestleMania plans.

Allegation Involving Brock Lesnar

In the blockbuster lawsuit from Janel Grant, it was noted that Vince McMahon allegedly used her as a bargaining chip to secure a contract renewal. The Superstar in question was not named, but they were referred to as a former UFC Heavyweight Champion.

Aftermath of the Allegations

TKO reacted to the lawsuit against Vince McMahon, and they made it clear that they are going to take action. These allegations took place prior to Endeavor’s takeover of the company, but this is a matter that they are taking seriously.

“Mr. McMahon does not control TKO nor does he oversee the day-to-day operations of WWE. While this matter predates our TKO executive team’s tenure at the company, we take Ms. Grant’s horrific allegations very seriously and are addressing this matter internally.”

Vince McMahon Resigns

Vince McMahon resigned from WWE on Friday night, while making it clear that he will defend himself against these allegations. WWE CEO Nick Khan then sent out an email to everyone in the company to inform them of Mr. McMahon’s resignation.

“I wanted to inform you that Vince McMahon has tendered his resignation from his positions as TKO Executive Chairman and on the TKO Board of Directors. He will no longer have a role with TKO Group Holdings or WWE.”

WrestleMania Update:

Brock Lesnar’s planned WrestleMania match against GUNTHER is now up in the air. He was removed from Elimination Chamber plans to face Dominik Mysterio. It is unknown if he will wrestle at the show of shows.

Vince McMahon Allegedly Involved Top WWE Talent & Producers In Explosive Lawsuit Allegations

Vince McMahon and WWE is the subject of a new blockbuster lawsuit from former employee Janel Grant. There is a lot to unpack in this situation, and another big name that everyone knows very well may be involved as well.

WWE Talent Mentioned In New Lawsuit

In July 2021, according to the lawsuit, Vince McMahon instructed Janel Grant to create personalized sexual content for a WWE superstar he sought to re-sign.

The lawsuit didn’t specify the wrestler but described them as both a UFC fighter and WWE talent. Given the timeline is 2021, it’s pretty easy to narrow down those choices, although Brock Lesnar was not named.

The lawsuit states that McMahon shared explicit photos with the WWE Superstar, who said that, “he likes what he sees.” 4 WWE Producers and television production techs were also allegedly received this explicit content.

In December of the same year, McMahon allegedly provided Grant’s personal cellphone number to the unnamed WWE Superstar. The lawsuit claims that the wrestler requested a video of her urinating, and after she complied, he used derogatory language, calling her ‘b*tch.”

Lawsuit’s Allegations Get Even Heavier

The WWE Superstar, whom the lawsuit noted is widely acknowledged as a top talent with a substantial fan base that contributed to viewership and live event attendance, was allegedly recruited by McMahon for a sexual encounter with Ms. Grant. This purported recruitment occurred while she held the position of coordinator in the legal department. By July 2021, McMahon reportedly informed Ms. Grant that the WWE Superstar was intended to be their next “playmate.”

Similar to previous instances, McMahon allegedly expressed his fantasy of witnessing Ms. Grant engaged in explicit acts with the WWE Superstar, describing a desire to “rip” her open. McMahon also disclosed his intention to have WWE Superstar sign a new contract, while the Superstar expressed interest in returning to other professional pursuits.

Upon information and belief, McMahon began to recruit WWE Superstar for a sexual encounter with Ms. Grant while she was still a coordinator in the legal department. By July of 2021, McMahon informed Ms. Grant that WWE Superstar would be their next “playmate.”  As in other instances, McMahon described his fantasy of seeing Ms. Grant engaged in unmerciful sexual acts with WWE Superstar during which he would “rip” her open.

McMahon also confided to Ms. Grant that he wanted to have WWE Superstar under a new contract, while WWE Superstar indicated an interest in a return to other professional endeavors.

Around July 12, 2021, McMahon allegedly directed Ms. Grant to create personalized sexual content for WWE Superstar. After sharing the explicit photos with WWE Superstar, McMahon informed Ms. Grant that he was pleased with the content.

On July 21, 2021, McMahon or someone at his behest arranged for the WWE Superstar to fly into a local airport and travel to Connecticut for what McMahon described to Ms. Grant as a “business dinner” and a subsequent sexual encounter at McMahon’s condo.

The dinner, allegedly discussing WWE Superstar’s ongoing involvement with the company, was preceded by a brief visit to Ms. Grant’s building. However, the WWE Superstar, reportedly too intoxicated, did not return for a sexual encounter and was taken back to the plane.

Samoa Joe Names Three Wrestling Stars Who “Hit Like A Truck”

Samoa Joe is known to be a hard-hitter, but the AEW World Champion named three other names who pack their own special kind of power. However, none of them hit as hard as he does.

In light of his first World Title defense this Wednesday on AEW Dynamite, Samoa Joe spoke with Chris Mueller of Bleacher Report to talk about his one-on-one fight with HOOK. Joe previously had some good praise for the young AEW star and did just as much in this interview too.

Mount Rushmore of Hardest Hitters in Wrestling

The champ was asked about who he would name as the hardest hitters in wrestling. Joe named two Japanese legends before naming three modern talents that devastate with their own power.

“The list is a Mount Rushmore of some of the most dangerous people in the world,” he said. “You start from [Kenta] Kobashi and [Mitsuharu] Misawa. Young Wardlow. He hits like a truck. Brock Lesnar hits like a truck. Roman Reigns hits like a truck.”

There’s tons of people around the sphere of wrestling who all hit hard, and I’ve felt all that power, but they don’t hit as hard as me.”

Reigns and Lesnar have had their fair share of championships, but the AEW World Title is the first World Championship Joe has held since his TNA days.

Since he defeated MJF for the championship at World’s End, Joe has laid out a new format as to who will be deemed as appropriate for challegning for his AEW gold. To him, wins and losses matter and his first challenger HOOK has an impressive record worthy for his challenge.

Brock Lesnar’s WWE Return Status With Royal Rumble On The Horizon

Brock Lesnar is known for his ultimate part-time schedule with WWE. He also makes a truckload of money every time he shows up to work. The Beast Incarnate has been off since the summer, but WrestleMania season is right around the corner.

Brock Lesnar is Coming Back Soon

Lesnar has received plenty of big matches at WrestleMania. Some of them were more successful than others, but he usually makes himself known around the showcase of the immortals.

In his Daily Update, Dave Meltzer noted on F4Wonline that Brock Lesnar is expected to make a comeback soon. It might not be very long until his monstrous music breaks the moment again on WWE television.

Brock Lesnar will be back on WWE television very soon.

Brock Lesnar’s WrestleMania History

Brock Lesnar has a rich history with WrestleMania. It will be interesting to see how Triple H books him for WrestleMania 40, but we may know his direction soon enough.

Brock Lesnar participated in several WrestleMania matches, each with unique circumstances. At WrestleMania XIX, held in Seattle, Washington on March 30th, 2003, he faced Kurt Angle in a singles match for the WWE Championship to win, and start a fantastic Mania legacy for himself.

Moving forward to WrestleMania XX in New York, New York on March 14th, 2004, Lesnar engaged in a singles match against Goldberg, with Stone Cold Steve Austin as the special guest referee. That match was infamous, because it marked Lesnar and Goldberg’s exits.

After his return to WWE, at WrestleMania 29, which took place in East Rutherford, New Jersey on April 7th, 2013, Brock Lesnar had a No Holds Barred match against Triple H, which The Game won.

Lesnar continued his WrestleMania journey, participating in matches against various opponents. WrestleMania XXX in New Orleans, Louisiana on April 6th, 2014, featured a singles match between Lesnar and Undertaker, where the Beast Incarnate broke Taker’s Mania undefeated streak.

Another notable match occurred in Santa Clara, California on March 29th, 2015 at WrestleMania 31, where Lesnar faced Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns in a Triple Threat match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. That match was originally a singles match, but Rollins cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase to enter the match and win the title.

The WrestleMania legacy of Brock Lesnar includes encounters such as a Street Fight against Dean Ambrose in Arlington, Texas at WrestleMania 32, April 3, 2016, a match that didn’t really pan out as many hoped. Then, at WrestleMania 33, he beat Goldberg in Orlando, Florida for the Universal Title.

A singles match for the WWE Universal Championship against Roman Reigns in New Orleans, Louisiana at WrestleMania 34 followed that. Rollins went on to beat Lesnar at WrestleMania 35 for the Universal Title. Then, Drew McIntyre beat Lesnar at WrestleMania 36 for the title in front of zero fans.

WrestleMania 37 did not see Brock Lesnar appear, but Roman Reigns beat him at WrestleMania 38 to become Undisputed Universal Champion. Then at WrestleMania 39, Lesnar shut down Omos in a match that surprised many fans to see on the card. Now, we are going to have to wait and see who he faces next, but it’s obvious that Lesnar’s booking is something that WWE takes seriously.

UFC’s Jim Miller on Potential Brock Lesnar Fight: “I Could Kimura Brock”

UFC fighter Jim Miller won’t back down from Brock Lesnar after recent comments about a potential fight between the two.

In 2007, Lesnar joined UFC and would see massive success as part of the promotion. In 2011, the UFC Heavyweight Champion would retire after facing Alistair Overeem. While Brock would lose the fight, he was paid $3 million for the 146-second fight, equivalent to $20,547 per second of action

Brock Lesnar Vs. Jim Miller

Recently, Anthony Smith made headlines when he spoke about a fight between UFC fighter Jim Miller and Lesnar, and said that the match would be 50-50. With that said Smith added that he’d give Miller the advantage if he faced Brock on the street. At a pre-fight news conference for UFC Fight Night 234, Miller was asked whether he agreed with Smith.

“I’ve trained with plenty of heavyweights through the years. My team now is a little bit smaller than me. Training is training, and I’m not a fan of keeping score, but I’ve trained with plenty of heavyweight world champ grapplers and stuff like that and I’ve subbed ’em out. So I know that if I can isolate something, I could kimura Brock Lesnar.

“I know that I could because I can lift enough. I can deadlift over 500 pounds. I can straighten the guy’s arm. He can’t single-arm curl 500 pounds. So it’s about isolating and stuff like that. It’s going to suck. I don’t want to be underneath him, but I appreciate the push. We’ll take it: 50/50.”

For years there has been speculation about Lesnar potentially returning to the Octagon, and it’s not just the fans who are interested…

Matt Riddle Says Brock Lesnar Refused To Let Him Win WWE Royal Rumble

Matt Riddle was released from WWE in September last year, and he is already filling up his 2024 with dates. He will not have a match against Brock Lesnar, but that also wasn’t going to happen while he was with WWE, either.

Matt Riddle & Brock Lesnar’s Story

The history between Matt Riddle and Brock Lesnar has been a popular narrative for pro wrestling fans, but the match never took place. The two had a backstage confrontation during the 2020 Royal Rumble, which garnered notable attention.

In that Royal Rumble backstage encounter, Brock Lesnar let Matt Riddle know that he had no interest in facing him. Although they eventually briefly worked together, Riddle didn’t get the marquee match he wanted. Now, The King of Bros has alleged that Lesnar intentionally sandbagged his chances of winning the Royal Rumble match.

During an interview on Signed by Superstars, Matt Riddle alleged that he was initially told he would win the 2022 Royal Rumble, but then he claimed that Brock Lesnar refused to cooperate and insisted on winning the match himself.

“I believe — you know, it’s sports-entertainment — that I was told at one point, yeah, I was gonna win the (Royal) Rumble and everything else, and then what was it? Bobby Lashley beat Brock Lesnar because somebody came in and hit him with the belt or what have you. Then Brock came in, didn’t wanna do business with everybody, said he was winning, and then he won, and then none of the producers… nobody stood up to him, and they let him do it. I didn’t either, I didn’t either. I’m like, f*ck man, I’m just here.”

Matt Riddle is very firm on the idea that Brock Lesnar harbored animosity towards him. This belief has spurred discussions among fans, especially considering the Royal Rumble incident.

The anticipation leading up to the 2022 Royal Rumble suggested that Matt Riddle had significant momentum, leading many fans to believe it could be his moment to finally break into the main event picture with a WrestleMania main event match. That was not in the cards for the Original Bro.

Matt Riddle’s WWE Release

Matt Riddle’s release from WWE was marked by a series of internal issues, culminating in an incident at JFK Airport while returning from WWE’s final live event in India. He had a lot of internal infractions before that.

Despite prior support from management, Matt Riddle exhausted his chances as they found themselves unable to stand behind him any longer. The Original Bro had recently rejoined the company after an extended hiatus for rehab.

After jumping back into the indies, Matt Riddle is already securing numerous dates. His upcoming first-time-ever match against RVD in March and his anticipated return to MLW are all promising prospects. Matt Riddle won’t be hard to find after his WWE tenure is over, even if Brock Lesnar wants to track him down.

Watch: What Happened With Cody Rhodes After Raw Went Off Air

Cody Rhodes continued his new tradition after this week’s episode of Raw.

The Red Branded Show this week featured a number of strong segments that got people talking. The show opened with a heated confrontation between Drew McIntyre and CM Punk.

The episode also featured a segment between Seth Rollins and Jinder Mahal leading to the announcement of a World Title Match between the two next week.

The matches on the show included bouts such as The Miz taking on JD McDonagh, Kayden Carter and Katana Chance defending the Women’s Tag Team Titles and more.

What Happened After Raw

cody table 1

The main event of this week’s Raw saw Cody Rhodes facing off against Shinsuke Nakamura. Both these stars have been involved in a personal rivalry the last few weeks and due to it, this match had been turned into a street fight.

Neither Nakamura nor Rhodes shied away from using various weapons in this match and they introduced objects such as Kendo Sticks, Tables, and even Nunchucks.

At one point, Nakamura accidentally spit his red mist into the timekeeper’s eyes, originally meant for Cody. This took Cody’s mind out of the match for a minute as the timekeeper was Berkley Ottman, the son of former WWE star Typhoon and a cousin of Rhodes.

At the end of the night however, Cody managed to pick up the victory. He sent Nakamura crashing through a table and then pinned him with a Cross-Rhodes.

The cameras went off air with Cody Rhodes celebrating in the ring. After the show, he continued the tradition he has built recently and the American Nightmare gave away another table to one of the fans in attendance.

Gunther Comments On Possibly Facing Brock Lesnar At WrestleMania 40

WWE Intercontinental Champion Gunther yet again expressed his desire to face Brock Lesnar, that too at WrestleMania 40.

‘The Ring General’ has been on an unstoppable run as WWE Intercontinental Champion and has defeated every opponent who has challenged him. One of the credible challengers who could put his title reign at jeopardy is none other than Brock Lesnar.

Both the superstars have expressed their desire to face each other but they are yet to lock horns inside the squared circle. Meanwhile, ‘The Beast Incarnate’ has been away from WWE programming.

Gunther mentions Brock Lesnar

While on SiriusXM Busted Open, Gunther said that he feels he needs to prove his status as the ‘end boss’ and that could be possible if he manages to defeat Lesnar. He said:

“I don’t know if WrestleMania 40 is the time for that but we’ll see but I feel like in the long run the one name I always bring up is Brock because I feel like I’m the end boss to a lot of people. But I feel like Brock is somebody perfected being an end boss and I got to prove myself with him in the ring too.”

Could we see Gunther vs Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 40?

WWE is set to host Royal Rumble next month and that could be the perfect way to sow the seeds for the Lesnar-Gunther feud and it could lead to a clash at WrestleMania 40.

WWE also dropped a subtle hint about Lesnar’s appearance at WrestleMania 40. The promotional materials for WrestleMania 40 feature the former WWE Universal Champion and there is certainly a possibility that the two titans could share the ring at the Tropicana Field event.

There have been reports floating that the company is considering the high-profile match between the two on ‘The Grandest Stage of Them All.’

We will now have to wait and see what WWE has in store for the fans.

Exclusive Details On WWE’s Plan For Brock Lesnar In 2024

WWE is gearing up for the road to WrestleMania, and the event is set to kick off on January 27th at the Royal Rumble in Tropicana Field. Although we still have over a month until they really put the wheels in motion, other wheels on the road have provided a glimpse at what is to come.

Brock Lesnar’s Current WWE Situation

Brock Lesnar’s last appearance on WWE television took place during the SummerSlam, where he faced Cody Rhodes. Ultimately, Lesnar was defeated by The American Nightmare, and he praised Rhodes in an impromptu post-match celebration. The Beast Incarnate’s absence has persisted since that event in Detroit’s Ford Field.

Despite Brock Lesnar’s current absence from WWE television, promotional materials featuring him for WrestleMania 40 were spotted on the back of a WWE production truck. This observation is noteworthy considering the proximity of the Royal Rumble next month, adding an intriguing layer to Lesnar’s potential involvement in upcoming events.

Exclusive Details About Brock Lesnar’s WWE Future

I was told by a tenured source within WWE after SummerSlam that Brock Lesnar won’t be back to wrestle for the rest of 2023. Now that we are closing out December, it seems that came to pass.

The Royal Rumble event is the next big event on WWE’s schedule. I could not get a definite confirmation that Brock Lesnar will be a part of the January 27th Royal Rumble event, but it was not denied to me, either.

I was told that Brock Lesnar is slated to be on the WrestleMania 40 card. That being said, WWE is obviously gearing up for a big night in Philadelphia for the Beast Incarnate. His opponent is another question, as a lot of things are shifting within WWE right now, especially after CM Punk’s return. So, nothing is locked into place yet.

I was able to confirm, as I previously reported, that Roman Reigns’ plan for WrestleMania 40 has not changed, but anything is possible until it is “locked in.”

UPDATE: Allegation Involving Brock Lesnar

In the blockbuster lawsuit from Janel Grant, it was noted that Vince McMahon allegedly used her as a bargaining chip to secure a contract renewal. The Superstar in question was not named, but they were referred to as a former UFC Heavyweight Champion.

WrestleMania Update:

Brock Lesnar’s planned WrestleMania match against GUNTHER is now up in the air. He was removed from Elimination Chamber plans to face Dominik Mysterio. It is unknown if he will wrestle at the show of shows.

“He Has to Start Giving Back” – WWE Legend Justifies Brock Lesnar vs Omos at WrestleMania

Some fans may be wondering why WWE has Brock Lesnar wrestling Omos at WrestleMania, but Lesnar’s former rival Kurt Angle knows exactly why the match has been made.

Lesnar has been one of the top WWE performers for two decades. ‘The Beast Incarnate’ has been featured in several blockbuster matches in the recent years. Lesnar had won the WWE Championship again in 2022 and lost the title in a Winner Takes All Match against Universal Champion Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 38.

Following a rematch at SummerSlam, Brock Lesnar later entered a feud with Bobby Lashley, which continued till 2023. After a disqualification loss to Lashley at Elimination Chamber, Lesnar shifted towards a new challenge. He went on to accept up and coming WWE star Omos’ challenge to a match at WrestleMania 39 which is just a few weeks away.

Kurt Angle opens up on the idea of Brock Lesnar vs Omos

Speaking on The Kurt Angle Show, the Olympic Gold Medalist shared his thoughts on the match and. ‘The Olympic Gold Medalist’ has stated that it’s time for Lesnar to start helping the company build other talent. He wants ‘The Beast’ to put over Omos at ‘The Grandest Stage of Them All.’

“I think it’s a great idea,” Angle said. “You have to remember, Brock is near the end of his career, and Omos is near the beginning of his career. Brock’s always been these main event matches with all the top guys. I think now he’s at the point of his career where he has to start giving back and not being at the top level matches for world championships, but trying to build other talent. I think this is a great idea.”

Lesnar and Omos are set to face off on tonight’s edition of Monday Night RAW. Omos will certainly reach a massive milestone in his career if he’s able to defeat Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 39.

Reason Why WWE Changed Finish of Elimination Chamber Match

WWE presented the final PLE before WrestleMania 39 last month with the Elimination Chamber event, headlined by the highly-anticipated match between Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn.

Another match featured on the card that included two top stars was Brock Lesnar vs. Bobby Lashley, a trilogy bout between them. WWE needed to change the match’s finish because plans for “The Beast” had changed at WrestleMania.

As previously reported, WWE did consider several opponents for Lesnar at the event, including Steve Austin, Gunther, Lashley, and Bray Wyatt. Lesnar nixed the idea of wrestling Wyatt.

The Finish

Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE had to change up their plan for Elimination Chamber with Lesnar and Lashley because of the change to Lesnar’s WrestleMania direction.

The original plan called for Lesnar to go over Lashley clean to move on to a match with Wyatt at WrestleMania. Once that planned bout was off the table, WWE had Lesnar get DQ’d and Lashley going over.

This is why Wyatt did the promo on SmackDown ahead of the PLE, where he told the winner of the match to run because he was going after them. Lesnar is scheduled to wrestle Omos at WrestleMania.
