Bronson Reed Aiming for July Clearance, Match Outside WWE

Bronson Reed has shared an update on his future in the ring, and hopes to be cleared for action by July of this year. On X, Pro Wrestling NOAH’s Naomichi Marufuji shared his desire to compete in NOAH’s 25th anniversary tournament. This caught the attention of Reed, who shared that he wants to face Marufuji again and hopes to be cleared by July.

Reed suffered a severe ankle injury at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames, where he teamed with Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline to face the OG Bloodline and CM Punk. Reed recently clarified that he shattered his talus bone completely in half, and he reqired surgery to have fragments taken out and screws to repair the damage. This injury will force the former NXT North American Champion to miss major events such as Raw’s Netflix premiere, the Royal Rumble, and most unfortunate of all, WrestleMania 41.

Missing out on these huge events is a setback for Reed after he established himself as a major force on Monday Night Raw in 2024. Nevertheless, the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal winner is focued on healing up and getting back in the ring, both in WWE and Pro Wrestling NOAH.

Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on Bronson Reed as the powerhouse continues to work hard on his recovery.

Bronson Reed Clears Up His Injury Status

Bronson Reed is currently sidelined after sustaining a serious injury during the WWE Survivor Series: WarGames Premium Live Event. The injury occurred in the main event when Reed attempted a dive off the top of the cage. Following the incident, Reed underwent surgery on Wednesday, which was reportedly more complex than anticipated. Despite the complications, the surgery was successful, and Reed is now recovering. His expected return is projected for May or June 2025.

Bryan Alvarez reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that the procedure required additional measures due to the severity of the injury. Reed later addressed his condition in a detailed post on Twitter/X, clarifying misconceptions about the nature of his injury.

“Let’s clear up some things. Dirt sheets report ankle fracture or injury. I unfortunately smashed my talus bone completely in half. I had it surgically repaired with screws and fragments taken out. Also had some bone marrow taken from my hip and put into my foot.
Now this means I won’t be at the Raw Netflix Premiere, don’t expect a Rumble surprise, and the biggest loss is no Mania. Please keep up with me on social media at this time. Understand I’ve had a serious injury, undergone serious surgery, and have serious implications from that. It’s not merely a fracture!”

Reed’s absence has led WWE to adjust its plans, particularly as he was involved in prominent storylines heading into WrestleMania season. Fans have expressed support for the powerhouse, who has vowed to keep them updated on his recovery journey.

Wrestling World Reflects On 2024, Looks Ahead To 2025

2024 was a monumental year for the world of professional wrestling, from the WWE exit of Vince McMahon to huge signings in AEW. With 2024 officially at an end, many in the world of wrestling are looking back at the year that was.

On X, WWE NXT Tag Team Champion Nathan Frazer reflected on teaming with Axiom, adding that the pair have become like brothers.

IYO SKY had an impressive 2024, including walking into WrestleMania as Women’s Champion. The Damage CTRL star also competed outside WWE and is ready to do even bigger things in 2025.

WWE CCO Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque is ready for fans to see plenty more in 2025 after WWE “lit the world on fire” last year.

NXT Superstar Arianna Grace ended 2024 with a party of her own, and hopes that 2025 proves to be as beautiful as the Beauty Pagent queen.

Several wrestlers also shared their plans for 2025, including ‘Big’ Bronson Reed, who had some choice verbiage on X.

Michin shared that she can’t wait to see what 2025 brings for everyone and included a photo of herself and her husband Keith Lee. The Limitless One has been out of action since December 2023.

And TBS Champion Mercedes Mone had a huge year in 2024, which she plans to expand upon in 2025, judging by the image The CEO shared on social media.

Happy New Year to everyone from the SEScoops team! Here’s to another exciting year in the world of pro wrestling

Bronson Reed Undergoing Surgery Today After Survivor Series Injury

WWE star Bronson Reed has confirmed that he’ll be undergoing surgery today after suffering an injury during the Survivor Series 2024 event.

The heavyweight star teamed up with Solo Sikoa and his cousins to take on the OG Bloodline and CM Punk in a WarGames match on the show. He suffered the injury while attempting a daring dive from the top of the cage on Roman Reigns through a table.

Reed went through the table alone after Punk saved Reigns at the last minute. WWE previously confirmed that the Australian star suffered a broken foot from the fall. The 36-year-old then took to Twitter on Tuesday to reveal that he’ll be undergoing surgery this week. He has since confirmed that the surgery was successful and he is officially on the road to recovery:

Bronson Reed wasn’t the only one who suffered real damage during the brutal PPV match. Both Jimmy Uso and Tonga Loa also suffered injuries during the bout.

Uso, who broke his toe is expected to be out of action for only a few weeks. He’ll likely be back in the ring in late December or early January. Tonga Loa on the other hand suffered a torn biceps and like Bronson Reed, he’ll have to undergo surgery.

A concrete timetable for both Loa and Reed’s return will only become clear after their surgeries. Though they are expected to be out of action for a few months and both the stars are likely to miss WrestleMania 41.

Injury Updates: Tonga Loa Undergoes Surgery, Bronson Reed and Jimmy Uso Out Indefinitely

WWE has announced that three competitors from the recent Survivor Series WarGames match have sustained significant injuries.

Tonga Loa suffered a torn biceps during the event and has undergone successful surgery. He is expected to be sidelined indefinitely.

Bronson Reed incurred a broken foot, reportedly from executing a splash off the top of the cage. Surgery is planned, and he will also be out of action indefinitely.

Jimmy Uso sustained a broken toe during the match. His injury was confirmed during the post-event press conference, and he is currently sidelined with no specified return date.

These injuries were highlighted in a segment on WWE SmackDown, which included x-rays and images of the affected areas.

Bronson Reed Needs Ankle Surgery For WarGames Injury

Bronson Reed is set to be sidelined due to an injury sustained during his most recent WWE match. Reed suffered a right ankle injury after leaping off the top of the cage during the WarGames match at WWE Survivor Series.

The event, which took place six days ago, featured a star-studded main event lineup: Roman Reigns, The Usos (Jey and Jimmy Uso), Sami Zayn, and CM Punk battling The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa). Reed was part of The Bloodline team, who ultimately lost to the babyface team.

The word going around WWE suggests that Reed will undergo surgery next week to address his injury, according to PWInsider. Prior to the setback, WWE had scheduled him to face Seth Rollins in a series of steel cage matches during the company’s post-holiday tour.

Jimmy Uso was also injured during the match, breaking a toe during his own high-risk leap from the cage.

The Rollins-Reed feud has been a highlight on WWE television in recent months, marking a pivotal moment in Reed’s career. The rivalry, intertwined with WWE’s most compelling storyline, helped elevate Reed’s status with fans.

We wish Bronson Reed a speedy recovery and look forward to his return to the ring.

Bronson Reed Injured After Big WarGames Spot at WWE Survivor Series 2024

‘Big’ Bronson Reed suffered legitimate damage during his big WarGames spot.

The heavyweight star had promised to go viral when he entered the match beyond as part of Solo Sikoa’s team in the main event of WWE Survivor Series 2024.

Reed did not disappoint as he went all the way to the top of the cage in an attempt to deliver a Tsunami on Roman Reigns through a table. CM Punk ended up saving the OG Tribal Chief at the last minute from the catastrophe and Bronson went through the table all by himself.

The former NJPW star was effectively taken out of the match with the spot and latest reports suggest there was good reason for it.

Bronson Reed Injured

According to a new report from Fightful, Reed suffered real damage in the spot. While the dive was always going to take him out of the match, they’re told that Bronson Reed suffered damage to one or both of his ankles upon the landing.

In the post-Survivor Series media scrum, WWE CCO Triple H noted that Reed’s status was questionable following the bout and hinted that we might not see him on TV for a few weeks.

Bronson Reed wasn’t the only one who attempted such a spot. Jacob Fatu was also seen favoring his knee following a failed Moonsault attempt. You can check out an update on his health here.

Bronson Reed Explains SmackDown Attack After Joining New Bloodline

On this past Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown, “Big” Bronson Reed solidified his allegiance with the new Bloodline faction by aiding them in a brutal assault on the OG Bloodline. The alliance was later confirmed on SmackDown Lowdown, naming Reed as the fifth member of the new Bloodline for the Men’s WarGames Match at WWE Survivor Series.

Reed wasted no time celebrating his inclusion, taking to his official Twitter (X) account to declare his intentions. In his post, Reed emphasized his dominance, vowing to take what he wants and asserting his recognition of Solo Sikoa as a leader.

“I told you, I’m coming for that spotlight. Raw, Smackdown, I’ll take it all. I do what I want when I want. I acknowledge SOLO. Also, it’s called AFAKASI, you damn morons!” Reed wrote.

With Bronson Reed officially in their ranks, the new Bloodline appears stronger than ever as they prepare for the high-stakes WarGames clash against the OG Bloodline at Survivor Series.

Bronson Reed Joins Team Bloodline For WarGames at Survivor Series

Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline has recruited their fifth member for the upcoming WarGames match and it might be a matter of huge concern for Roman Reigns and his teammates.

This week’s episode of SmackDown from Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin featured Sikoa and his cousins in a segment. Sikoa took the mic and asked Milwaukee to acknowledge him.

Roman Reigns then came out with Sami Zayn and The Usos and the two sides got into a brawl. Reigns took out Solo with a spear and then he came face to face with Jacob Fatu in the ring as others fought outside.

Before the Tribal Chief could get his hands on the Samoan Werewolf however, Bronson Reed attacked him from behind, revealing himself as the fifth member of the team consisting of Solo, Fatu, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa.

The two teams then continued the brawl for a while. The segment finally ended with Reed and others standing tall after the former delivered a Tsunami to Roman Reigns:

Who Will Join Roman Reigns?

This wasn’t the only major development in the Bloodline story tonight. After getting beaten up during the brawl segment, the Usos urged Roman Reigns to ‘make the call.’

SmackDown then ended with a backstage segment where Roman finally decided to call his ‘Wiseman’ Paul Heyman. The call couldn’t connect, however, and Roman got an automated message saying that the number was out of service.

This segment makes things very interesting as Roman’s group is still one member short for WarGames. The big question now is if Paul Heyman will return before Survivor Series on November 30 and help them find a suitable name to finally complete the team.

Bronson Reed on His MF DOOM-Inspired Gear, Teases Royal Rumble Plans

Bronson Reed, reflecting on his MF DOOM-inspired gear at WWE Crown Jewel, explained the influence behind the look, saying, “I’m a big hip-hop fan… and MF DOOM is someone I always looked up to.”

Reed collaborated with an Australian artist for the design, noting, “I wanted to bring something to WWE that fans haven’t really seen.”

Looking ahead to upcoming events, Reed hinted at fresh ideas for his gear at Royal Rumble and WrestleMania, though he kept details under wraps to build excitement “I already have some ideas in mind… I want fans to be surprised when they see it.”

Seth Rollins Topples Bronson Reed At WWE Crown Jewel 2024

Seth Rollins was able to get payback on Bronson Reed for what happened on an August edition of Raw by topping the monstrous Australian at WWE Crown Jewel.

The pair didn’t wait for the bell to ring to start brawling as they began fighting during Reed’s entrance. Once the match officially began, Reed hit a Tsunami but Rollins hit a stomp of his own shortly after. The finish of the match saw Rollins hit a series of stomps onto Reed (one of which was on the steel steps) which left the Australian bleeding above his eye.

Even after taking three stomps, Reed was quickly back on his feet after the match and made clear his issues with the Visionary are far from over.

WWE Crown Jewel is taking place from the Mohammad Abdo Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The card for the show is as follows:

  • Roman Reigns and The Usos (Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso) vs. The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, and Tama Tonga) (with Tonga Loa)
  • Cody Rhodes Vs. GUNTHER (WWE Crown Jewel Championship)
  • Nia Jax Vs. Liv Morgan (WWE Women’s Crown Jewel Championship)
  • Seth “Freakin” Rollins vs. Bronson Reed
  • Randy Orton vs. Kevin Owens
  • LA Knight (c) vs. Andrade vs. Carmelo Hayes (WWE U.S. Championship)
  • Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair (c) vs. Damage CTRL (Kairi Sane and Iyo Sky) vs. Meta-Four (Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson) vs. Chelsea Green and Piper Niven (WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship)

Seth Rollins’ Match Made Official For Crown Jewel 2024

WWE has announced that Seth Rollins will be going up against Bronson Reed in a singles match at the upcoming Crown Jewel special.

This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw featured another chaotic confrontation between the two stars. It started with Rollins calling out Reed during the opening segment of the show.

The security tried to stop the two WWE stars from getting physical but failed. Reed tried a couple of times to deliver a Tsunami on Rollins but the Architect moved out of the way. The segment ended with Bronson going through the announce desk at the ringside.

Bronson Reed’s reign of terror started with an attack on Seth Rollins back on the August 5 Raw. The former Shield member then returned to cost Reed his Last Monster Standing Match against Braun Strowman on the September 30 episode of the show. The two stars have been feuding since then.

WWE Crown Jewel 2024 Updated Match Card

This is the third match that has been announced for Crown Jewel apart from the two champion vs champion bouts made official by Triple H previously. Here is the updated card for the show:

  • WWE Crown Jewel Championship Match: Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes vs. World Heavyweight Champion Gunther
  • WWE Women’s Crown Jewel Championship Match: Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan vs. Women’s Champion Nia Jax
  • Singles Match: Seth Rollins vs. Bronson Reed

WWE Crown Jewel will be taking place on Saturday, November 2 from the               Mohammed Abdo Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Bronson Reed Gives Credit To Triple H For Viral Braun Strowman Feud

Bronson Reed has given Triple H the credit for having a vision for his feud with Braun Strowman that led to the rivalry going viral.

The heavyweight star has established himself as a huge threat to the WWE roster in the past few weeks. His encounters with Braun Strowman have played a crucial part in presenting Reed as a serious competitor after his past mishaps in the company.

The 36-year-old was asked if he anticipated his work with Strowman going viral during a recent interview with Chris Van Vliet. Reed explained that he didn’t expect it to be such a huge hit but was excited to work with Strowman nonetheless:

“No, I don’t think so. I was excited to be able to work with Braun. I think there was a natural chemistry there, we have maybe touched one time before in the Andre the Giant battle royal last year. And I was like, oh, we could do something there with me and him. But then it’s like, what do you do?

It Worked: Bronson Reed

Bronson Reed specifically mentioned giving Tsunami to the Monster Among Men on top of a car. He said that all this was the vision of WWE’s Chief Content officer Triple H:

“Then Hunter obviously had great vision for things, came up with the car angle and everything. And then once we were filming that, it’s in the moment, I was like, Okay, this is gonna be cool. I think people were gonna really respond to this.

And then it ended up being WWE’s most viral moment of the week. I think it got almost 13 million views across social media platforms. So it worked.”

Bronson Reed had the upper hand during most of his feud with Braun Strowman. Though he ended up losing their most recent Last Monster Standing match last week on September 30 due to the returning Seth Rollins.

Reed previously laid out The Architect at the start of his terror run. After his comeback last week, Rollins has now challenged the former NXT star to a match at the time and place of his choosing.

Bronson Reed Never Doubted WWE Return After 2021 NXT Release

In August 2021, Bronson Reed was released from WWE NXT, mere weeks after holding the brand’s North American Championship. Shortly after his exit, it was reported that Vince McMahon didn’t see him as a main roster talent, and therefore felt he had no reason to keep the Australian around.

16 months, and a massive change in management, later, Reed returned to WWE and has been a force to be reckoned with ever since. Speaking on the Insight podcast, Reed shared that he always had faith that he’d be a WWE Superstar again.

“I had a lot of faith that when I was released that I would end up back in WWE. I didn’t think it would be so soon… I was planning maybe three or four years, maybe I could get a good run in Japan for a couple of years and then be back in WWE.”

Reed’s return saw him align with The Miz and help the A-Lister win a Ladder match with Dexter Lumis, a somewhat odd return for the Australian. On the podcast, Reed admitted that this unconventional return was hardly what he had in mind.

“I think this sort of happens at times. Obviously, I’d been rehired, they want to use me. They don’t really know what to do with me. So they sort of just rush something.”

Despite an auspicious return, Reed has become a major player in recent months, thanks in part to his attack on Seth Rollins that saw him level the Visionary with six Tsunamis.

“I spoke with Hunter right afterwards and he said that’s a moment that will last forever, they can replay that as much as possible. It’s nowhere near as good… but it’s like Stone Cold at King of the Ring doing the 3:16 line, that promo, you instantly remember it, and you instantly remember a switch and his character and where it went from then.”

Reed’s attack on Rollins came back to haunt him recently when the Visionary returned to attack Reed in the Last Monster Standing match. While he may not have bested Braun Strowman, who is now out with a groin injury, a budding program with Seth Rollins, one of WWE’s very top names, certainly bodes well for the future of Bronson Reed.

Update On Braun Strowman After ‘Last Monster Standing’ Match On WWE Raw

In the main event of WWE Monday Night Raw, Braun Strowman defeated Bronson Reed in the Last Monster Standing match, thanks to a timely assist from the returning Seth Rollins. While Braun proved to be the true monster of WWE, more has come to light about the former Universal Champion’s condition after this match.

On Wrestling Observer Live, it was reported that Strowman suffered an injury during the match with Reed. Braun was seen grabbing his thigh/groin area after being hit with a Samoan Drop by Reed and was seen limping for the remainder of the match. Similarly, Braun was unable to build momentum when running, and after knocking Reed off the apron for a spot, the referee was “furiously communicating with the back” about an issue.

The concern within WWE is that Strowman has suffered a torn groin and that’s “certainly what they thought” after the match. This comes mere months after Braun returned to WWE programming in April after a year-long hiatus following neck fusion surgery. In July, Strowman shared that his knees have been ‘banged up’ and that he would be visiting a doctor to learn more.

Losing Strowman to the injured list is the last thing WWE Raw needs, especially with Ilja Dragunov set to miss months of action with an ACL injury. Stay tuned to SEScoops for all the latest on Braun Strowman and the physical condition of the Monster Among Men.

Seth Rollins Returns On (9/30) WWE Raw, Attacks Bronson Reed

On the August 5, episode of Raw, Bronson Reed vowed to make a name for himself and did just that by attacking Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins, flattening him with six Tsunamis. After close to two months away, Rollins is back on WWE TV and is hungry for revenge on this year’s Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal winner.

In the main event of the September 30, edition of WWE Raw, Reed faced Braun Strowman in the ‘Last Monster Standing’ match, which as the name suggests, was a collision of two titans of the red brand. After the ring exploded under the weight of a superplex between the two, Reed tried to get back to his feet, only to earn a stomp by the returning Rollins onto the steel steps.

Rollins’ war with Reed is far from over, judging by the finale of this week’s Monday Night Raw. The former Universal Champion has been appearing at NFL games during his time away and went viral after being ejected from the field during a Bears Vs. Colts game. Stay tuned to SEScoops for all the latest on Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins now that the Visionary is back on WWE programming.

Bronson Reed Fined “Massive” Amount For Launching Fan on WWE Raw

History was made on this week’s WWE Raw during the Super Heavyweight clash between “Big” Bronson Reed and Braun Strowman. As soon as Raw General Manager Adam Pearce announced this clash, fans knew they were in for a wild ride. However, nobody could have predicted what unfolded.

During their match, Reed etched his place in WWE highlight reels for years to come when he plucked an unsuspecting fan from the audience and launched him at Strowman:

The surreal moment left viewers stunned and quickly went viral on social media. That’s great for creating buzz, but you can’t just go around throwing people. Attacking an innocent audience member is conduct unbecoming of a WWE Superstar, regardless of the circumstances.

Who Was The Fan?

The WWE fan who got launched by Bronson Reed on Raw has been identified by The Local Competitor (@LocalCompWWE) as independent wrestler Nessy Henrdicks.

Nessy Henrix (@Instntclssic) appeared as an extra on WWE television earlier this year. On the February 25 episode of WWE Raw, Hendrix was hired by Paul Heyman as one of his security guards. Things did not go well for Mr. Hendrix that night either.

The Punishment

Adam Pearce agrees with this assessment and wasted no time addressing the incident. In a decisive move, Pearce levied a “massive undisclosed fine” on Bronson Reed.Furthermore and notwithstanding, both Reed and Strowman will also have to pay up for the destruction they caused during their match.

Bronson Reed has demonstrated that he can hold is own against Braun Strowman. However, it takes a lot more than in-ring tenacity to become a WWE Champion and headline WrestleMania, as Strowman has. Reed has the size and agility to continue climbing the ranks, but this fan-throwing incident shows that he still needs to improve the often-overlooked mental aspect of this sport.

WWE RAW: Seth Rollins Destroyed By Bronson Reed On 8/5 Episode

‘Big’ Bronson Reed kicked off a feud with Seth Rollins during the latest episode of RAW by destroying the former Universal Champion during the show. After a segment between Rollins, Drew McIntyre, and CM Punk, Reed struck and assaulted Seth. The Australian hit six Tsunami finishers, leaving Rollins gasping for breath and starting their feud with an immediate impact.

Rollins was seen coughing up blood and was attended to by officials before being helped out of the ring. Reed’s assault came after he was upset earlier in the night that he wasn’t booked for a match and said he’d have to make a path of his own.

In a backstage interview, Reed justified his attack on Seth Rollins.

“I’ve been telling the whole world I’m one of the best in this business week after week, and it’s falling onto deaf ears. So tonight, I did what I had to do. I crushed one of WWE’s golden boys. I hit tsunami after tsunami after tsunami after tsunami on Seth Rollins. To show you all, I’m not here to play around. The killer is unleashed, and Bronson Reed is at the very top of this business.”

Reed certainly made an impact, despite struggling earlier this week to make it to the show. On Twitter, Reed shared that his flight to RAW had been canceled twice.

A feud with Seth Rollins is a huge opportunity for Bronson Reed, three years after he was released from WWE. His exit came about as Vince McMahon did not see him as a main roster talent so cut the then-NXT Superstar. Reed returned in 2022 as part of a series of rehirings under Triple H. Since then he has competed for the Intercontinental title and won the 2024 Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

WWE King & Queen Of The Ring 2024: Title Matches Confirmed On 5/6 Raw

Liv Morgan will have one more shot at becoming WWE Women’s World Champion when she challenges Becky Lynch at WWE King And Queen Of The Ring.

On the May 6, episode of Raw, it was confirmed that Morgan will challenge The Man at WWE’s next PLE in Saudi Arabia. This has quickly become a very personal feud between the pair, as Morgan was the last woman to be eliminated in the battle royal that saw Lynch capture the title in April

Morgan has made it clear that she believes she deserves to be called WWE Women’s World Champion. After all, it was Morgan who injured Rhea Ripley in an assault that forced Ripley to vacate the title in the first place. Morgan is also the last woman to hold a pinfall victory over the ‘Mami’ of The Judgment Day.

Intercontinental Title Match Announced

Morgan’s title opportunity wasn’t the only match confirmed on the May 6, episode of WWE Monday Night Raw. On the show, ‘Big’ Bronson Reed faced Gad Gable in a match that saw interference from Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn. This would ultimately backfire for the underdog, as Reed would lay out Sami and Gable.

In a backstage interview with Jackie Redmond, Zayn said the only way to settle things is a triple threat match for his Intercontinental Championship. This will mark the first Intercontinental title opportunity at a PLE for both Gable and Reed.

SE Scoops will have full coverage of the King & Queen of the Ring event, as well as tournament matches. Keep checking in ahead of WWE’s next Saudi Arabia event.

Ominous Glitches Appear During WWE RAW After WrestleMania 40

WWE is resetting a lot of the deck after WrestleMania 40, and that could bring a brand-new storyline to the picture.

During Bronson Reed’s promo on RAW this week, something very interesting happened. A glitch appeared on the screen, and it looks like this was all on purpose.

Fans in attendance at the Wells Fargo Center received a crazy, ominous tease as well. The lights went down, and strange music started to play before the show even started.

It appears that WWE is teasing something, because production glitches like this don’t just happen out of nowhere, as they are very likely choreographed to be a part of the show.

Possible Meaning Behind The Tease

If you remember, Bray Wyatt’s initial return with his revamped character after his release was started with playing Jefferson Airplane’s “White Rabbit” at house shows, as they bathed the crowd in a red light. That was followed by a slew of QR codes. These new teasers have a lot of those same vibes.

With the idea that WWE may use Bo Dallas again, and the Bray Wyatt: Becoming Immortal documentary ending with an apparent tease for Uncle Howdy’s return, this is a very interesting situation.

Fightful Select went on to report that details about Bo Dallas’s return, including the version or character he may portray, remain uncertain. While under WWE contract since 2022, he hasn’t made an appearance on live WWE programming for over a year, coinciding with Bray Wyatt’s absence from television due to illness.

It’s anyone’s guess what this means, but WWE is certainly up to something.

SEScoops will keep our eye on this story for more details. It appears that Triple H has a lot of stories planned for after WrestleMania 40.

Bronson Reed Wins 10th Annual Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal On 4/5 WWE SmackDown

WrestleMania 40 is a loaded show, so they held the annual Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal on the go-home SmackDown episode.

The 10th annual Andre the Giant Battle Royal was the first match on this week’s episode of SmackDown. The Wells Fargo Center was pumped to get things going. In the end, Bronson Reed won the big match to kick off WrestleMania weekend the right way from the big man from Australia.

Bronson Reed, Omos and Ricochet received special entrances, while all the other Superstars were in the ring already. Omos made his way to the ring last, and he had MVP with him.

Andrade, Ricochet, Chad Gable, Bronson Reed, Shinsuke Nakamura, Omos, Brutus Creed, Julius Creed, Ivar, Akira Tozawa, Otis, JD McDonagh, Apollo Crews, Veer, Sanga, Cameron Grimes, Kit Wilson, Elton Prince, Ashante Adonis, and Cedric Alexander were some of the participants in the match.

In the end, Bronson Reed and Ivar were the two final contestants. The two battled as fans chanted “meat.” Ivar missed a moonsault from the top rope, and then Reed nailed a rolling senton before clotheslining him over the top rope to secure the win.

Previous Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal Winners

Bronson Reed’s name now joins a list of former winners, some of them are future WWE Hall of Famers.

The Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal winner list includes a few notable names. Sadly, the big win doesn’t always translate into a massive push. Past winners include: Cesaro, Big Show, Baron Corbin, Mojo Rawley, Matt Hardy, Braun Strowman, Jey Uso, Madcap Moss, and Bobby Lashley.

2 More WWE Names Join Bronson Reed’s Campaign for ’MeatMania’ At WrestleMania

More WWE men besides Bronson Reed want meat at WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia and they aren’t talking cheesesteaks.

There may certainly be a stop at Tony Luke’s for WWE stars when they do hit the City of Brotherly Love for WrestleMania, but Bronson Reed has his own meat agenda in South Philly. The big Aussie implored fellow men on his roster to speak up on getting a Meaty Invitational cooking for WrestleMania in honor of Big E.

“There are some BIG brothers currently not on this year’s #WrestleMania. I think its time for Big E MEATY INVITATIONAL! If you, the WWE universe want it, let your voice be heard!!!”

Sure enough, Reed had several names answering the call. First was Otis, mentioning his past history with Bronson.

“YEAAA as a Matter of FACT.

“Ohhh YEAAA

“I got sum unfinished business with You Big Daddy Claw…

“As to other BIG MEN on the Roster…

“That’s a lot BIG LOADS in 1 Ring….

“OVER SIZE LOADS in the squared circle

“PURE K@RNAGE!”

Ivar was another name to sound off, adding himself to the list after Otis did.

There’s plenty more meat to go around on SmackDown and Raw who could potentially throw their hats in the ring. Omos, Braun Strowman, Bron Breakker, Bobby Lashley, Akam, Rezar, Dijak and Odyssey Jones all have the capability of causing a monster stir in the ring.

Tony Khan had plans for a Meat Madness at AEW Revolution earlier in March, but decided to put that meat on ice when not everyone he wanted was available to compete in the match. Instead, there was a big scramble bout in which Wardlow won.

Big Meaty Men Slapping Meat! Bronson Reed Seeking Big E-Inspired WrestleMania Match

‘Big’ Bronson Reed is ready to prove that his ‘meat’ can’t be beat with a unique match next month dedicated to the injured Big E.

Taking to Twitter, Reed spoke about this year’s WrestleMania 40 event that will take place from Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field on April 6-7. Reed addressed that his “BIG brothers” are missing from the WrestleMania card. Reed suggested a “MEATY INVITATIONAL” dedicated to Big E.

The former WWE NXT North American Champion also made sure to tag WWE to ensure that the company got the message.

Big E & His Meat

Big E, a big man in his own right, has hardly been subtle with his support for the meatier wrestlers in WWE. During an infamous episode of the New Day’s ‘Feel the Power’ podcast, Big E named Goldberg as his dream opponent, declaring that the match would be “Big meaty men slapping meat!” When asked for three opponents for the New Day to face, Big E had an equally hilarious answer: three Goldbergs.

The Meat Men of WWE

Reed will need some participants in his Meaty Invitational if such a match is to happen. There’s no shortage of larger Superstars though, such as Ivar, who has been impressing in his singles run while Viking Raider ally Erik recovers from neck surgery. The missing-from-TV Odyssey Jones would also be right at home in such a meaty match.

WWE WrestleMania 40

This year’s WrestleMania will be the fifth annual two-night WrestleMania, a tradition that began with the Covid-19 pandemic. The show will also be the first WrestleMania following the launch of TKO Group Holdings last September. The card for the show so far is as follows:

  • Roman Reigns (c) vs. Cody Rhodes (Undisputed WWE Universal Championship)
  • Iyo Sky (c) vs. Bayley (WWE Women’s Championship)
  • Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Becky Lynch (WWE Women’s World Championship)
  • Seth “Freakin” Rollins (c) vs. Drew McIntyre (WWE World Heavyweight Championship)
  • Seth “Freakin” Rollins & Cody Rhodes Vs. Roman Reigns & The Rock
  • GUNTHER (c) vs. Sami Zayn (WWE Intercontinental Championship)

Elimination Chamber 2024: WWE Had Huge Original Plans for Bronson Reed in Perth

‘Big’ Bronson Reed didn’t compete at WWE Elimination Chamber 2024, despite the company having some huge plans for him in Perth at first.

The February 24, event marked the first WWE PLE in Australia since Super Showdown in 2018. In the main event, Rhea Ripley retained her Women’s World Title against Nia Jax in front of thousands of her fellow Australians. Drew McIntyre won the Men’s Elimination Chamber match, earning a World Heavyweight Championship against Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 40. Becky Lynch won the Women’s Elimination Chamber match. She will face Ripley at WrestleMania 40.

Bronson Reed Misses Elimination Chamber 2024

Rhea Ripley, Grayson Waller, and Indi Hartwell were all given the chance to appear in her native Australia, but Bronson Reed wasn’t at the show. As Reed explained, he was pulled from the show so he could be with his wife when she gave birth to their child. Triple H congratulated Reed on social media and said that the Australian Superstar was exactly where he needed to be.

Original Plans for Bronson Reed

Reed made clear that he was once planned for the show, but did not specify what his role would’ve been. The original plan was for Reed to challenge World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, according to Fightful Select. Their match was hinted at earlier this year when Reed started cutting promos saying he was coming after a champion who had no idea he was being targeted.

Even if Reed’s wife hadn’t given birth, these plans had to be scrapped due to Seth Rollins’ knee injury suffered earlier this year. The report adds that Reed was “more than willing” to compete in Perth in some capacity, but when his wife went into labor earlier than expected “everything ended up working out for the best.”

WWE Elimination Chamber Change: Original World Title Match Plan Revealed

WWE’s Elimination Chamber event went down in Perth, Australia on Saturday, and there is a lot of fallout. Sadly, Bronson Reed missed the huge event, but that was not always the original plan.

WWE Changed Elimination Chamber Plans

Bronson Reed was absent from WWE Elimination Chamber and was not present in Australia for the event. Sean Ross Sapp noted on Fightful Select that this was not part of the original arrangement.

In a tweet earlier today, Reed disclosed that his wife had given birth to their child prematurely. However, this was not the primary reason for his absence from the show, contrary to what he had suggested on Twitter recently.

According to Fightful Select, Bronson Reed was originally set for a significant role on the Elimination Chamber card in his homeland. Initially, Reed was slated to square off against Seth Rollins in a bout for the World Heavyweight Championship, as hinted in promotional material where he mentioned targeting a champion unaware of his impending challenge.

Regrettably, plans for the match were derailed when Rollins suffered a knee injury, rendering him unable to compete at the event.

We’re told that Reed was more than willing to work the event ahead of the birth of his child, but everything ended up working out for the best.

What’s Next

Seth Rollins revealed during the Elimination Chamber event that he will be medically cleared in a matter of days. Sadly, he wasn’t ready for the Chamber, and that cost Bronson Reed a huge match in Perth.

SEScoops will have more on this story as we make our way down the road to WrestleMania 40.
