Brooke Hogan Welcomes Twins, Hulk Hogan Becomes a Grandfather

Brooke Hogan, daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan, has announced the birth of her twins, Oliver Andrew Oleksy and Molly Gene Oleksy, on January 15, 2025. The former TNA personality shared the joyous news on Instagram, captioning a photo with her newborns, “Our hearts have been made whole by the arrival of these two sweet souls we get to love. God is good.”

This milestone makes Hulk Hogan a first-time grandfather, adding another chapter to the legacy of one of wrestling’s most iconic families. Fans are already speculating whether the third generation of Hogans might step into the wrestling ring in the decades to come.

Brooke, who served as an on-screen authority figure in TNA Wrestling from 2012 to 2013, has largely stayed out of the spotlight in recent years. However, her father’s influence in professional wrestling continues to draw interest in her personal life.

Brooke married NHL player Steven Oleksy in a private ceremony in Florida in 2022, a union kept secret until late 2023. Oleksy, a Stanley Cup-winning defenseman with the Pittsburgh Penguins, is also an entrepreneur and founder of ESE Hockey. While the couple values their privacy, Oleksy has praised Brooke’s strength and authenticity, calling her the “most authentic person I’ve ever encountered.”

With the Hogan legacy expanding, wrestling fans are left wondering if Oliver and Molly might one day follow in their grandfather’s legendary footsteps. Could we see the third generation of Hogans stepping into the squared circle by 2050? Time will tell.

Brooke Hogan Married In Private Ceremony To Former NHL Player Steven Oleksy

Brooke Hogan is no stranger to the limelight, as she was a star on Hogan Knows Best, and many fans remember her from TNA Wrestling. In recent memory, it appears that she has elected to do things a bit more privately.

Brooke Hogan’s Secret Wedding

Brooke Hogan, daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan, reportedly got married last year in a private ceremony, but her ceremony took place a while ago, and it was a very private engagement.

According to TMZ Sports, Brooke Hogan got married to former NHL defenseman Steven Oleksy on June 8th, 2022, in Orlando, Florida. The ceremony involved only the bride and groom, with another event later in the month with Oleksy’s family in Michigan.

We have not seen any photos from this super secret wedding, nor do we know who was on the guest list.

Who Is Brooke Hogan’s Husband, Steven Oleksy?

Steven Oleksy played 62 NHL regular-season games with the Washington Capitals and Pittsburgh Penguins from 2012 to 2017. During this time, Oleksy recorded three goals and 16 assists for 19 points, along with a solid plus-15 rating.

Originally from Chesterfield, Michigan, Oleksy went undrafted after playing collegiately at Lake Superior State University but worked his way up through the minors, making his NHL debut after stints in the ECHL, IHL, and AHL.

Even though he hasn’t played in an NHL game since 2017, Oleksy extended his professional career for an additional five seasons, competing in the AHL, ECHL, and an Austrian league.

Nick Hogan Update

In other news, Brooke Hogan’s brother, Nick Hogan, is dealing with his own life-changing circumstances. He was arrested for DUI in early December 2023, a problem he has yet to take care of yet.

Police body camera footage of Nick Hogan’s DUI arrest showed Hulk Hogan showing up as well. He needed the assistance of a cane to walk, and he was not in a situation he enjoyed at all. We can only imagine that Brooke Hogan’s wedding had a much better atmosphere.

As of last Tuesday, it seems Kane was fine as he showed no sign of injury when working Smackdown.

Brooke Hogan On Possibly Returning To Wrestling (Video)

Brooke Hogan, daughter of WWE Hall Of Famer Hulk Hogan, was recently interviewed on Access Live to talk about several professional wrestling topics. Hogan was asked about a possible return to wrestling.

She responded by saying she has been considering it and has had some training, but admitted it’s probably not enough. Hogan also teased a possible match with Charlotte Flair, who is the daughter of two-time WWE Hall Of Famer Ric Flair. She also revealed that she now owns an all-female league.

Here’s what she had to say:

“I’m considering it. I’m thinking about it. I have had training, probably not enough. I actually own my own female league that I am now doing. That’s a whole new ball of wax. I can’t really say much about it. I shouldn’t have even brought it up. I think about it. Everybody wants me to wrestle Charlotte Flair, so who knows?”

Update On Hulk Hogan’s Talks With WWE, Stephanie McMahon Speaks At Summit, WWE Network

– RAW episodes from 2011 have started to upload to the WWE Network. 14 new episodes from 2010 were also added this week.

– TMZ Sports recently caught up with Brooke Hogan again and as you can see in the video below, she’s not exactly denying the recent WrestleMania claims she made about Hulk Hogan. As reported before, Brooke previously told TMZ that WWE had called her dad about a possible WrestleMania return but Hulk later denied those claims and said Brooke was just stirring the pot. Several sources have reported a different story as Hogan has definitely had recent talks with WWE about moving forward together. When asked if Hogan will use his Gawker money to fund Brooke’s new women’s wrestling promotion, Brooke says she’s trying to make him proud by doing everything on her own. She teases more news on that promotion in the near future.

– After missing Monday’s RAW to attend the LeSports Connects conference in China, Stephanie McMahon flew to California to speak at the Fortune 2016 Most Powerful Women Next-Gen Summit. Below are a few photos from the event:

Editorial: Hulk Hogan Returning to WWE at WrestleMania Makes Less Sense Than You Think

As soon as it was announced that Hulk Hogan had come to terms on a $31 million settlement of his lawsuit against Gawker, wrestling fans immediately began speculating about his return to WWE. Fueling the fire, Brooke Hogan told TMZ that her dad is already in negotiations to return at WrestleMania 33, while on last week’s Bauer and Pollock podcast, Court Bauer reported that Hogan has recently been taping talking head segments for WWE Network programming. The idea of the latter is that whenever they air, it’s under the radar enough that WWE can ease into bringing Hogan back, plus viewers don’t really know when those clips are filmed, anyway.

Having said all that, it’s not as if settling the sex tape lawsuit is/was the only hurdle for Hogan’s return. After all, it was, in and of itself, never the issue. The Gawker post didn’t hurt his career; last year’s National Enquirer article revealing his racist comments on a different sex tape (I subsequently located the audio for some of it in April) did. While they’re connected and the lawsuit being settled does chip away at the legs of the racist comments story, the settlement (if approved by the bankruptcy and trial judges) may not be the end for a few reasons.

The biggest is that Hogan still has a lawsuit outstanding that’s centered on the original leak of the racist comments. Filed in May in the same court as the Gawker lawsuit, it named not just the now-bankrupt blog empire (which Hogan alleged was the Enquirer’s source despite no compelling evidence), but also everyone who he believes was involved with the original sex tape leak to Gawker as well as a subsequent extortion attempt using all of the videos as bait. If that lawsuit keeps going, it’s going to keep the topic of his racist comments in the public eye for as long as the case lasts.

So is it gonna keep going?

That’s hard to say right now. Obviously the claim against Gawker, which was tenuous in the first place, is being dropped soon. When reached for comment, Gawker attorney Rachel Fugate said she had “no clue” if Hogan would be dropping the case against the other defendants. Charles Harder, Hogan’s lead attorney on the Gawker cases, did not return a request for comment. So it likely comes down to this: Did Hogan file the second  lawsuit as part of the deal with Peter Thiel to drive Gawker out of business (with the others as collateral damage, albeit people who Hogan had no problem suing), or would he have pursued this case regardless?

While it ramped up after he started needing money in the aftermath of his son’s car wreck and his first wife filing for divorce, Hogan has been a very litigious man for going on two decades now. Ever since he filed an extortion lawsuit against the woman he sued him alleging that he sexually assaulted her the weekend before the first episode of Monday Nitro, he’s been relented. Last year, Amanda Hess wrote this in an article about the sex tape case at Slate:

Hogan is easily aggrieved. When a woman accused him of sexual battery, he sued her; when his ex-wife Linda alleged domestic abuse in her memoir, he sued her; when a series of back surgeries stopped Hogan from inking a last-hurrah wrestling contract, he sued the surgeon; when his auto insurance failed to cover the cost of his tipsy teenage son recklessly driving his sports car into a tree, causing permanent brain damage to a passenger, Hogan sued his insurance company; when that didn’t work, he sued Linda, too, for not forcing him to be better insured; when Hogan’s lawyers sent the bill for their services, he sued them as well.

That’s definitely missing plenty of cases, too. So it’s easy to make an argument for why he would continue to pursue the second lawsuit, but it’s just as easy to argue that it was primarily part of the plan to sink Gawker. The only mark against the latter is that if Hogan’s lawyers foresaw Gawker filing bankruptcy a month after they filed the suit (and it’s starting to look more and more like they did), then the second lawsuit was unlikely to push them further in that direction.

Until they know for sure whether or not this case is going away, though, it’s likely too risky for WWE to bring Hogan back as a an actual character, and not just a talking head on canned streaming shows. If the case is still going, then Hogan’s racist comments will literally be an ongoing issue in the public record until the case is resolved.

Daughters Of Wrestling Legends Launching New Women’s Promotion

A new women’s wrestling promotion is in the works involving the daughters of several legends of the business.

Brittany Page (daughter of DDP) broke the news to TMZ Sports this week, revealing the other names on board include Brooke Hogan, Lacey Von Erich, Ariel Toombs, “Bianca Jean Claude Van Damme” and Christie Hemme.

Curiously, Page says their plan is to compete with TNA Impact Wrestling, with no mention of WWE. She gave a mixed answer as to whether her father will be involved, responding, “No, well, he will be, of course, because people want to see the first generation vs. the second.” Right?

She admitted that she’s never been in a physical fight, but would probably bust out some of her dad’s moves if she had to.

Cyber Defamation Lawsuit Filed Against Brooke Hogan

There’s now even more legal drama surrounding the Hogan family. Hulk Hogan’s daughter Brooke has been named in a lawsuit for “cyber defamation,” which means slander conducted through the internet. The lawsuit alleges that Brooke Hogan went on Instagram and accused the plaintiff of being involved in dog fighting.

On Tuesday, South Florida law firm Sackrin & Tolchinsky issued a press release detailing their lawsuit against Brooke Hogan. According to the press release, the lawsuit is in reference to “social media posts Brooke published to her public Twitter and Instagram accounts in April, 2015, falsely accusing Alexis “Lexi” Williams of involvement in dog fighting.”

Here’s an excerpt from the press release:

Ms. Williams, a medical lab employee and veteran of the United States Army who has owned and loved animals all her life, has never met Brooke, yet as a result of Brooke’s malicious actions she has been continuously subjected to death threats, both in person and over the internet, as well as ridicule, humiliation, mental anguish, and a loss in her capacity to earn a living.

While the Complaint in this case was filed on September 11, 2015, service of process has not yet been perfected on Brooke due to Brooke’s intentional efforts to evade service.

“We attempted to arrange service in private with Brooke’s agent and manager. Brooke responded by deleting the posts in question, and hiding in Jack’s house when a process server came to the door,” said attorney Adam Sackrin, of the ongoing efforts to serve Brooke.

Ms. Williams is seeking compensatory damages and plans to ask for punitive damages.

Brooke has appeared on both WWE and TNA television alongside her father. Hulk is still involved in a huge legal case with Gawker over his sex tape.

Brooke Hogan Responds To Her Father’s Racism Controversy

Brooke Hogan wrote a poem on Facebook in response to the controversy surrounding her father’s Hulk Hogan’s racist comments:

~If You Knew My Father~
By Brooke Bollea

If you knew the dad I knew,
you’d know his tender heart.

He’d never want to hurt his fans,
or family from the start.

If you knew my father,
you would know how hard he fought…

and the way it brought a smile to people light, medium and dark.

We always fight a battle
that people never see,

and sometimes when you’re hurting, you don’t think logically.

Human isn’t perfect,
and perfect is not he,

but I can tell you one thing, it’s just not what it seems.

Cause If you knew the dad I knew,
you’d know he raised me well.

He taught me folks are so much more
than shades could ever tell.

And If you knew my father,
you would know he’s down to earth.

He may have slammed the giant,
but remembers life’s true worth.

If you knew my father,
if you just walked in his shoes…

then you would know that microscope that comes with yellow boots.

If you knew my father,
you would see your own in mine.

And if he was your father, you could never find divide.

Cause me- I bet your father
or someone that you love

Maybe regrets something
they wish they’d never done.

So if you know my father,
remember he’s a man,

and you would crave relief if people judged everything you did.

The lord says to forgive them,
don’t be the one to stone…

so please remember his strong arms when you were all alone.

The lives he’s changed, the friends he’s made,
the people he’s inspired…

It makes me sad to see my dad
defeated and so tired.

If you knew my father,
you would know just how he’s hurting…

For he loves every one of you, regardless of your story.

And if you met my father,
I know he’d give you love!

He’d lift you up, apologize and give you all a hug.

For those who think you know my father,
remember who you are.

We all can make mistakes and carry ugly scars.

Because I know my father,
I can promise this-

Just like you and I, things we don’t mean can sometimes slip.

We all continue learning.
This life can be so rough…

So if you know my father, please try not to be tough.

My father has a daughter,
and I have feelings too.

And if I knew your father, I would do the same for you.

Huge Backstage Update On Brooke Hogan’s Release From TNA Impact Wrestling

As we reported on Friday, Brooke Hogan has officially been released from TNA Impact Wrestling. The feeling within the company was that her role as an on-air talent had pretty much run its’ course. As we noted, the split appeared to be amicable, as both sides seemed to agree that it was time to part ways.

According to one report, Brooke’s father and TNA executive Hulk Hogan was brought in on the discussions regarding the Brooke Hogan release, and appeared to agree that it was the right thing for business.

As far as Brooke’s future is concerned, she is said to be focusing more on non-wrestling projects at this point in time. Apparently the door is open for her to return to TNA at some point down the line, as long as it makes sense for all parties involved.

Additionally, financial considerations factored into the decision to cut Brooke from the company. The general feeling within TNA is that paying someone such as Brooke, who is a non-wrestler that didn’t really draw any added ratings or move any additional merchandise, is a luxury that the company can’t afford. Especially when you consider the fact that actual established in-ring workers are being cut left-and-right recently.
