Profile Removed From NXT Wrestling Website, WWE Classics On Demand Preview, Max Moon

– Byron Saxton is no longer listed on the roster page of the official NXT Wrestling website, which could be an indication that he has parted ways with WWE. He primarily appears as an announcer for the developmental promotion, with his wrestling appearances considerably reduced in the past year.

– WWE has released a video previewing this month’s WWE Classics On Demand programming. Here is the synopsis: “It’s the most wonderful time of the year, when WWE Classics On Demand presents “Season’s Beatings”. Title Change During SummerSlam Pre-Show, Lilian Garcia Releases EP Album, Byron Saxton

– Antonio Cesaro knocked off Santino Marella in the SummerSlam 2012 Pre-Show to capture the WWE United States Championship. The match concluded with Aksana distracting Marella, opening Cesaro to plant the Raw Superstar with the Neutralizer.

Marella’s loss concludes his five-and-a-half-month championship reign that started on the March 5 episode of Raw.

– Lilian Garcia’s new, extended play (EP) album, “My Time,” is now out on iTunes. The six track follow-up to her 2007 premiere album, “¡Quiero Vivir,” is primarily English based, with five of the songs being produced by Grammy-Nominated Producer Oh, Hush! and one by Grammy-Award winners George Noriega and Tim Mitchell. Among the tracks is remake of Coldplay’s “Fix You.”

– WWE developmental wrestler Byron Saxton turns 31-years-old on Monday.

Mason Ryan Taps Out To Jack Swagger, Ohno Causes Net Surge

— WWE.com has posted this week’s episode of WWE Superstars and it is highlighted by United States Champion Jack Swagger forcing Mason Ryan to tap out to the Ankle lock.

Ryan had not lost a televised singles match via pinfall or submission in nearly a year. His last such loss took place on the March 14, 2011 Raw to Randy Orton.

Other matches are Superstars include Aksana vs. Maxine and WWE Tag Team Champions Epico and Primo vs. Alex Riley and Santino Marella. The episode is available here.

— News of Chris Hero’s FCW ring name caused a surge online among wrestling fans Thursday as Kassius Ohno briefly trended on Twitter not to mention that the official Florida Championship Wrestling website slowed to a crawl for hours.

— WWE developmental wrestler Byron Saxton has resumed competing following shoulder surgery, reports the Wrestling Globe Newsletter.

The fifth season of NXT Season Five is called NXT Redemption and features six runner-up contestants from previous seasons. The cast is as follows:

* Darren Young with Pro Chavo Guerrero

* Jacob Novak with Pro JTG

* Lucky Cannon with Pro Tyson Kidd

The broadcast team consists of Todd Grisham and William Regal. Matt Striker and Maryse act as the show’s hosts.

It was announced that there is no immunity in Season Five.

Latest NXT Elimination Announced, Matches Taped For Superstars

— Dolph Ziggler’s NXT Rookie, Byron Saxton, was eliminated from the competition Tuesday night.

The remaining Rookies are Brodus Clay, Derrick Bateman and Johnny Curtis.

WWE has not announced the length of the season and there was no announcement made regarding the date for the next elimination.

— Matches taped Tuesday night at the Resch Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin for this week’s episode of WWE Superstars on WGN America are as follows:

* Curt Hawkins vs. Tyler Reks

* Jack Swagger vs. Trent Barreta
