Bayley Has Harsh Words For Charlotte Flair, Wants To Elevate The Women’s Division

During last night’s episode SmackDown Live, Bayley came out during Charlotte Flair’s interview time on A Moment of Bliss. She ended up pushing Flair off her chair.

After the show, the SmackDown Women’s Champion had some harsh words for Flair ahead of their matchup at Clash of Champions.

“Come on, you know you want to do that sometimes,” Bayley joked. “She talks a little too much, I know everybody wants to push her just a little bit or shut her mouth. We all knew Charlotte was gonna come after me. It was only a matter of time before she challenged me for the title.”

Bayley continued, “She’s too wrapped up in her own head to realize what I’m trying to do. And when I say I want to elevate this title and this division, I’m not talking about me, her, or just right now in the current division. I’m talking about 5, 10, 15, 20, 30 years from now. The future. Because what we’re doing right now matters. They’re going to remember what we’re doing right now.”

She claimed that what she’s trying to do for the women’s division is akin to what Trish Stratus did for them, and that, unlike Charlotte who is too selfish, she wants to help prepare the division for the next generation.

“Charlotte Flair, you can live on the red carpet. You can rack up all of your appearances, you can have the most appearances of all the women in the division, but you’ll never understand that what I’m doing right now is what Trish Stratus did for us. Right now, I’m helping the division for the next generation, and that is something that Charlotte Flair is too selfish to understand.”

Trish Stratus Reflects On SummerSlam Match, Calls It A Passing Of The Torch

Trish Stratus recently returned to in-ring action against Charlotte Flair at WWE’s SummerSlam pay-per-view. Despite a valiant effort, Stratus would ultimately suffer a submission loss to “The Queen.”

In a reflective post to Instagram, Stratus admitted she initially believed she was stepping into the ring for her comeback match. However, she soon realized her SummerSlam clash was going to be her farewell match instead.

Stratus called her bout with Charlotte a “passing of the proverbial torch,” adding that “It was an honour and a privilege to step into the ring with @charlottewwe, one of the very best of her era, a total pro.”

Trish then expressed her gratitude to the current roster of women in WWE for allowing her to return, if only to “dip” her toes into the current waters.

The former Women’s Champion then ruminated on her pro wrestling journey as she recalled:

“In the beginning of my career, I set out to knock down the preconceived notion of what a female could do in this male oriented business and the current roster of ladies represent everything we dreamed of. If we laid the platform, you all have built a friggin skyscraper and we all couldn’t be prouder!”

Charlotte Flair Explains Why Becky Lynch On WWE 2K20 Cover Sends Big Message

Former WWE RAW and SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair did an interview with The Wrap where she talked about the news of WWE 2K20 this week.

Becky Lynch and Roman Reigns are on the cover of the game. According to Flair, she thinks this is a big deal. She brought up the trailer for the game where Roman acknowledging her like she was the man.

She thinks there’s no bigger acknowledgment in the company than that coming from Reigns. Flair thought it makes it seen as Lynch trying to let everyone known that she wants to be the face of the company, which is where Reigns is right now.

Flair added, “I think it’s more kudos that – Roman is standing behind her. Roman Reigns is standing behind her. [He’s] the face of our company. That’s the big message to me.”

Flair later talked about the negativity over Lynch sharing the cover. She thinks having Lynch on the cover and not another male alongside Reigns is a message from WWE.

She thinks it says from WWE, ‘Hey, our women are taking over and we hope that this message spreads to every industry.’ Because WWE is positioning us as Superstars equally as the men in every aspect in the company.”

Flair says the fans who are complaining that Reigns is on the cover are either going to be happy or mad. She thinks they will have something to be negative about. The reason for her mindset is due to it being easier to be negative than to be positive.

WWE 2K20 will be released on October 22nd, 2019 with no early access for collectors or deluxe versions this year. It will be made available for fans to play on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.

Charlotte Flair & Trish Stratus Exchange Words Ahead Of SummerSlam Match

Trish Stratus and Charlotte Flair are going all out for their upcoming match at the WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view event.

The contest was set up during a special edition of Jerry Lawler’s interview segment, “the King’s Court” on this week’s episode of SmackDown Live in Memphis, TN at the FedExForum when the WWE Hall of Famer made an appearance.

Once Flair came out and issued a challenge to the legendary pro wrestler, Stratus accepted then traded some words.

The two talented stars have taken their feud from television to social media where they recently exchanged some words on Twitter. The former WWE Women’s Champion knocked Flair for holding a title for a week and questioned if that even adds up to being a champion.

The former RAW and SmackDown Women’s Champion took offense to that by noting that she’s competing in the greatest era of women’s wrestling while Stratus competed a decade before the women’s evolution.

Booker T Believes Potential SummerSlam Match Could Be Historic

WWE Hall of Famer Booker T is excited to see one potential match at the upcoming WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view event.

Last week it was reported that fellow WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus was in talks with WWE to make a return to in-ring action. It was later revealed that she would take on former RAW and SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair at this show.

Although the showdown as only been reported and WWE not confirming it just yet, former WWE stars are beginning to comment on the possible SummerSlam match, which now includes Booker T.

Trish Stratus To Be Interviewed By Jerry Lawler On Smackdown

The pro wrestling legend took to his podcast, the Reality of Wrestling to give his thoughts on this match.

This is where Booker noted that Stratus is one of his favorites of all-time because she had everything. He brought up how she checked off every box and did it her way. He noted that he’s really looking forward to it.

Booker T added, “It could be history in the making, especially if Charlotte can go out there and beat the Queen in Toronto.”

It should be noted that WWE didn’t have Stratus appear on the RAW Reunion special with the other legends. Former female WWE stars such as Eve Torres, Kelly Kelly, Torrie Wilson, and Jillian Hall did appear on the program.

Trish Stratus vs Charlotte Flair Planned For SummerSlam

WWE is planning a Trish Stratus vs Charlotte Flair match for SummerSlam. News was broken yesterday by Pro Wrestling Sheet that WWE was in talks with Stratus about a return. POST Wrestling is now reporting that the match will take place at SummerSlam.

“We can confirm through multiple sources that Charlotte Flair is scheduled to face Trish Stratus at SummerSlam on Sunday, August 11th in Toronto,” the POST Wrestling report reads.

Flair recently dropped a single’s match to Ember Moon on Smackdown. She would also mention in a promo that she is upset about not currently being on the SummerSlam card.

“I demand to be at SummerSlam,” Charlotte Flair said during the interview. “And my opponent will be better than Ember Moon and I’m going to prove why I am the greatest female Superstar of all time.”

You can watch Flair’s promo in the player below:

Trish Stratus vs Charlotte Flair – SummerSlam

Stratus actually wrestled in 3 matches for WWE last year. She had been gone from the ring for 7 years between 2011 and 2018. She was in the first-ever women’s Royal Rumble in 2018. Trish then returned that October as part of the Evolution PPV. Trish and Lita teamed together and defeated Alicia Fox and Mickie James on the PPV. They then teamed with Bayley and Sasha Banks the next night on RAW. They beat the team of Fox, James, and the Riott Squad in tag-team action.

Trish ended her full-time WWE career in 2006. She defeated Lita for the WWE Women’s Championship in her final match as a full-time competitor at Unforgiven 2006 in Toronto.

Trish became the youngest person ever to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013 when she went in at just 36-years-old.

Ember Moon vs Charlotte Flair & Other Segments Announced For Smackdown

Smackdown and 205 Live will take place from the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida this week. WWE announced 3 segments for this week’s show, including Ember Moon going one-on-one with Charlotte Flair.

Moon was recently announced as Bayley’s opponent at SummerSlam for the Smackdown women’s championship. Flair could potentially insert herself into the title picture with a win on Tuesday night, however.

Shane McMahon is scheduled to address Kevin Owens’ actions for last week as well on Tuesday night. McMahon held a Town Hall meeting to kick-off Smackdown last week. Also announced for Tuesday’s Smackdown is Kofi Kingston issuing an open challenge for SummerSlam.

Ember Moon vs Charlotte Flair

“Ember Moon received the biggest opportunity of her WWE career thus far last week, when SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley challenged her to a title match at SummerSlam. However, The Shenom will have no time to rest on her laurels, as she now has to prepare to challenge The Queen,” a WWE press release for the match reads.

Flair and Moon have never faced each other on WWE programming aside from both being in the 2019 Royal Rumble and the 2018 Money in the Bank matches. They have met a few times on recent WWE live events, however. Flair defeated Moon twice in a row on June 1st and 2nd last month during a WWE tour of Texas. Moon then won a triple threat against Flair and Liv Morgan on a WWE house show from Glenn Falls, New York on July 8th.

Also booked for Tuesday on 205 Live will be Isaiah “Swerve” Scott making his 205 Live debut against Cruiserweight Champion Drew Gulak in a non-title match.

Batista Names Charlotte Flair As Next WWE Star Who Could Succeed In Hollywood

Former WWE Champion Batista was recently interviewed by WrestlingNewsCo where he spoke about a wide range of topics including who he thinks is the next WWE star that could make it big at acting in Hollywood.

This is where he named former WWE RAW and SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair. “Ashley [Charlotte] Flair [has what it takes to make it in Hollywood].”

He would elaborate by stating that he didn’t start out with the goal of becoming a big star in Hollywood. Instead, he thinks it comes down to a personal and natural process that a person has to go through before they figure out their goals in acting.

He stated that it’s not advice to Flair but rather just the way that he started in the film industry.

“I didn’t really want to be a movie star, but that was my road so I don’t know. It’s an individual thing,” Batista stated.

Batista is staying busy with his schedule in Hollywood as he has been part of some big films such as Drax in Avengers: Endgame. His latest films include Stuber and My Spy that are slated to be released in July and August.

Charlotte Flair Back In Action After SmackDown Live

This week’s episode of SmackDown Live saw the former Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair returning to action in a dark match after staying away from the company for a while.

Charlotte originally took some time off back in June to be with Andrade after the latter’s mother passed away. She hasn’t appeared on WWE programming since the June 4rth episode of SmackDown Live.

Flair competed in a triple threat match at that episode and originally returned to action this past Monday Night when she again competed in a triple threat match at a SmackDown brand Live Event from Glens Falls, NY.

She then wrestled the current SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley in a singles match during the dark main event after this week’s episode of SmackDown Live.

Bayley’s title was on the line for this bout and the former Raw roster member was able to defend her title successfully in this dark main event after the show.

Though this wasn’t the only dark match on this week’s episode of SmackDown Live as Ali and Buddy Murphy continued their series of dark matches before the show went on air.

These two have been competing in similar dark matches before the show for the last few weeks and similar to those bouts, Ali was once again able to defeat Murphy in the match.

Charlotte Flair Talks About Paul Heyman & Eric Bischoff’s New Roles, SmackDown To Fox

8-time WWE Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair spoke with MySanAntonio this week to promote Tuesday’s edition of SmackDown Live. If you haven’t already, check out our 5 Takeaways from the show.

During the discussion, Charlotte spoke about Paul Heyman and Eric Bischoff’s new roles with WWE as well as SmackDown’s move to Fox in October .

Heyman & Bischoff

Last week, WWE announced Paul Heyman and Eric Bischoff have been appointed as Executive Directors of Raw and SmackDown. In their new capacities, Heyman and Bischoff will oversee the creative development of their respective shows.

Charlotte complimented both Heyman and Bischoff, but does not expect the creative shakeup to have a big impact on her directly.

“I think it is great, and they are both very talented men with creative minds, but we have so many writers and people that work with us on creative. It is exciting, but it is doesn’t change my role,” Flair said.

“However, having two people that have been a part of the industry for so long and seen the changes and been with different companies and back, I think that it adds a lot to them being really good in that role and helps bring new stories.”

SmackDown’s Move to Fox

Charlotte is excited for SmackDown’s move to Fox this fall. She believes it’s a huge opportunity for WWE to to reach a larger audience on a channel with even broader distribution. She also believes the move will reignite the rivalry between Raw and SmackDown.

“The move on Friday nights is going to be huge, too, moving to the weekend and then adding competition,” she said. “It’s USA [Network] versus Fox. I know it is the same company, but whoever is on Smackdown is going to be better than Raw, and whoever is on Raw will want to be better than Smackdown.”

Charlotte Flair Reveals How She Gets So Many Title Shots In WWE

It’s good to be the Queen of WWE. 8-time WWE Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair, who has been absent from WWE Television for a few weeks, spoke with MySanAntonio.com this week to promote Tuesday’s edition of SmackDown Live.

Charlotte shared her thoughts on Bayley as the SmackDown Women’s Champion and also revealed the secret behind her the unprecedented number championship opportunities she receives.

Flair has been working with Bayley at recent WWE’s live events and insinuated that she’s not satisfied with Bayley carrying around ‘her title’. While some fans have pointed out that favoritism might be at play with Charlotte as it relates to her staying power in the Women’s title pictures, she claims all she has to do is ask management for a title shot and they oblige.

“I wrestled her all weekend in Jackson, Miss., and Monroe, La. She still has my title and that is that, Alexa Bliss is the number one contender, but obviously I got title matches all weekend just because I said I wanted a title match, so it doesn’t change anything for me. When I want one, I go to management and say, ‘I want a title match,’ and then I get a title match.”

Apart from this, Charlotte Flair also discussed a variety of other topics. She talked about how Paul Heyman and Eric Bischoff becoming the new Executive Directors will impact the product and what she feels about SmackDown’s move to FOX.

Andrade Thanks Charlotte Flair And Fans For Their Support

Both Andrade and Charlotte Flair have been off of WWE programming in recent weeks.

This is due to the unfortunate passing of Andrade’s mother. He discovered the sad news whilst he was out in Saudi Arabia for WWE’s Super ShowDown event.

It was reported via F4WOnline.com that Charlotte Flair was scheduled to return over the weekend. She was meant to perform at a WWE Live Event in Denver, Colorado. She would not work any of that weekend’s live events as she is still taking time off to support her boyfriend, Andrade.

Taking to social media, “El Idolo” thanked WWE, Charlotte, and the WWE Universe for all the support they have given him.

“Many thanks to WWE, family, girlfriend, friends and fans for all the support !! GRACIAS TE AMO MAMA”

Charlotte also posted something recently to her Twitter account. With SmackDown Live moving to Fox TV, she wanted to make sure people know that she will soon be the queen of not only Smackdown, but also Fox.

The two are scheduled for this week’s episode of SmackDown Live in Ontario, California. Neither Superstar is booked for WWE’s upcoming pay-per-view, Stomping Grounds. The PPV takes place this Sunday from Tacoma, Washington, and doesn’t appear to be selling in the way WWE will have anticipated.

Charlotte Responds To Rusev’s Sarcastic Twitter Comments

This past Sunday at WWE’s Money In The Bank event, Charlotte Flair faced off against long-time rival, Becky Lynch.

Flair would eventually emerge victorious, claiming the SmackDown Women’s championship. It would be a short lived reign.

Shortly after, Bayley would cash in her newly won Money In The Bank briefcase, pinning Flair and becoming the new SmackDown Women’s Champion.

Not everyone was thrilled for Flair increasing her championship stats, however.

Taking to Twitter, SmackDown Live Superstar, Rusev, tweeted out:

“Wow when it’s all said and done @MsCharlotteWWE will be 35 time world champ!!! The greatest superstar in the history of superstars. Teach me”

Now, Charlotte has responded.

Three Simple Steps

Firing back on her own Twitter account, Charlotte responded to Rusev’s passive aggressive message with “First, win one, then I’ll show you what I can”.

Rusev, rising to the bait, responded with a one-word reply: “How” accompanied with an emoji of a man shrugging.

The Queen’s response included a strategic breakdown in an effort to help Rusev achieve similar championship glory.

According to her, Rusev should first change his name. The second step is demonstrated with the woman emoji shrugging. Finally, the final step in her easy three-step plan simply stated “Championships”.

Charlotte Flair Reacts To MITB Cash-In, Roman Reigns Unsatisfied With Elias Victory

During the second of Becky Lynch’s title defenses at last night’s (Sun. May 19, 2019) WWE Money In The Bank (MITB) pay-per-view (PPV), “The Man” was unsuccessful in retaining her “Becky Two Belts” moniker. Charlotte Flair bested Lynch to capture the SmackDown Live Women’s Title, following Lynch’s successful defense of the RAW Women’s Title over Lacey Evans.

However, after her match, a beaten Flair was cashed-in on by Women’s MITB Ladder match winner Bayley. “The Hugger” came out and successfully cashed-in her briefcase before defeating Flair to become the new SDL Women’s Champion. Shortly after her defeat, Flair took to Twitter to react to the situation.

Here’s what she had to say:

Roman Reigns Unsatisfied With Elias Victory

Also at last night’s MITB PPV, former Universal Champion Roman Reigns made very quick work of Elias inside the ring. It only took “The Big Dog” 10 seconds to dispatch of the man formerly known as “The Drifter.” Following his victory, Reigns did an interview backstage with Cathy Kelly for WWE’s YouTube channel.

Reigns said he’s unsatisfied with the quick victory over Elias, as he was prepared for a competitive contest:

“It really wasn’t at all (satisfying) to be honest,” Reigns said. “I geared up for a match tonight. I was ready to rock n’ roll, give Hartford a great match, give them what they paid for. Considering, I’ve been here for a long time. I’m an established Superstar.

“It would’ve been a great opportunity for a guy like Elias to be in the ring with me, and to feel what top competition feels like. What a championship fight feels like. But, he made the wrong choice. He pulled the trigger early. Therefore, I pulled it late. That’s why I’m standing here.”

Bayley Wins SmackDown Women’s Title At WWE Money In The Bank

Bayley is on top of the women’s division on the blue brand of WWE and “The Man” is holding one less title.

The reign as WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion for Becky Lynch has ended as she lost the strap to Charlotte Flair at the WWE Money In The Bank pay-per-view event in Hartford, CT. The finish of the match saw Lynch toss her to the floor and they did a near count out spot. Lacey Evans ran back down to the ring and punched Lynch. Flair with a big boot for the win.

Post-match, Flair and Evans beat down Lynch until Bayley ran down to the ring to make the save. Bayley cashed in the MITB contract where she would beat Flair. Bayley is now the SmackDown Women’s Champion.

https://twitter.com/WWE/status/1130273946710921216

Back on the April 23rd episode of SmackDown Live, Flair beat Bayley to become the new #1 contender for the SmackDown Women’s Title. As a result, Flair earned the right to challenge Lynch for the title at this show.

Lynch has dethroned Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair when she beat the women in a Triple Threat Match to win the RAW and SmackDown Women’s Titles at WWE WrestleMania 35, which ended up serving as the main event. This marked history as it was the first time that women have headlined the biggest event of the year for the company.

Going forward, it will be interesting to see which title that Lynch chases after.

Charlotte Flair Denies Being Engaged To Andrade

Charlotte Flair denies that she is engaged to fellow WWE star Andrade.

The 8-time WWE Women’s Champion issued a statement on Wednesday to Pro Wrestling Sheet, which refutes speculation in a TMZ article that the two are set to marry.

Flair’s statement read:

“Don’t believe everything you read online. Unless you read that I’m the most decorated women’s wrestler ever, because that is fact.

No, we are not currently engaged”

Flair and Andrade made their relationship public when they attended this year’s WWE Hall of Fame ceremony together.

When WWE held the Superstar Shakeup last week, it appeared from the outside that they did their best to keep all of the real-life couples on the same brand.

With one notable exception.

Flair was kept on Smackdown, while Andrade was moved to Raw with his manager Zelina Vega, and her real-life husband Aleister Black.

WWE changed course on that decision this week, when Andrade, Vega, and Black were all moved to Smackdown.

Flair and Andrade recently vacationed together in the Dominican Republic, and Flair was spotted wearing a ring on her left ring finger. Flair denies that the ring is an engagement ring.

Hold off on buying those wedding gifts.

What do you think of Charlotte Flair’s statement?

Charlotte Flair Spotted Wearing New Ring, Her & Andrade Reportedly Getting Serious

Andrade and Charlotte Flair made their relationship official on the Hall of Fame red carpet earlier this month. While each had hinted at the relationship through their social media accounts, they heralded the Hall of Fame as their coming out party as a couple.

Now it appears, the relationship between the Los Ingobernables founding member and the WrestleMania 35 main-eventer may have taken another step. Flair has been spotted wearing a new diamond ring since WrestleMania weekend.

The relationship is getting serious quickly, however, Charlotte has stated publicly that they are not currently engaged.

Charlotte Flair & Andrade

As an 8x world champion, Charlotte Flair is halfway to tying her father’s record of 16 world title reigns. Should her and Andrade get married, she would then be 60% of the way to equalling her father’s all-time tally for marriages as well.

Charlotte has been married twice previously and her father is currently on his fifth wife, Wendy Barlow.

As noted, WWE has already confirmed that Lynch will also be defending the RAW Women’s Title against Lacey Evans at this show as well.

Andrade and Charlotte Flair

While tonight might be the couple’s “coming out” party, they have not been shy at alluding to their relationship on social media. In particular, Flair has posted a few Tweets where she is either wearing Los InGobernables gear or otherwise looking tranquilo.

Ric Flair To Guest On Watch Along During WrestleMania 35

As Charlotte Flair prepares to main event WM35, her father will be there live. Ric Flair will be a guest on “Watch Along” which airs at the same time as WrestleMania. Watch Along debuted last month at Fastlane. The show features guests giving their real-time reactions to the PPV.

Charlotte Flair Discusses Asuka Not Being Featured In WrestleMania Headliner

WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair recently did an interview with Sporting News to promote WrestleMania 35 where she spoke about a wide range of topics including the way that her father, WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair, reacted to her next match under the WWE banner.

During the interview, she was asked about Asuka not being featured in the WrestleMania 35 main event, which will see Flair take on Becky Lynch and WWE RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey in a Winner Takes All match.

The reason for some people thinking that Asuka should’ve been added to the contest is due to her recently losing the SmackDown Women’s Title to Flair. Thus, she is owed a rematch for the title that she once held. Also, there is a history between Flair and Asuka as they competed against each other at WrestleMania 34 last year.

“Here’s the thing — last year, when I wrestled Asuka to break her streak at WrestleMania 34, all I could think about is making her proud.” She would praise Asuka for being a great wrestler and wrestling all around the world before later adding that it was really living up to the expectations and cementing her legacy.

“And then, obviously, having the title match out of nowhere with her [on SmackDown last month], in my opinion, will only open up more doors for people to see the magic that Asuka and I could make and that’s the bigger picture. People will regard [Asuka’s omission from the main event] as a negative, but no. This is a story. People want better. This just has the opportunity just to get better for people to see just how much further Asuka and I could take each other in the ring and entertainment-wise.”

Flair would add that there is no other woman that she would rather do that with than Asuka because people have already seen them have a few matches and know what they could do.

Charlotte Flair Reflects On Her Father’s Reaction To WrestleMania Main Event

WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair is set to make history as she will step into the ring with Becky Lynch and WWE RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey. This Winner Takes All match will serve as the headliner of WrestleMania 35.

Flair recently did an interview with Sporting News to promote WrestleMania 35. During the interview, she talked about the way that her father, WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair, reacted to the match and the position that WWE has put them in.

This is a big deal considering that WWE has never booked women in the main event of their biggest event of the year.

“My dad is my biggest fan, my biggest supporter, my best friend. He truly understands what it has been like in the journey, with the ups and downs and helping me every day in how to get better, what I need to do to get better, what I did to get here. He’s been so connected with what it has taken me to get here that … he just said, ‘You deserve it, and you did it all on your own.’ He emphasizes that every single day that ‘You did this all on your own. This has nothing to do with me.’ And just, ‘I’m proud of you.’”

WWE presents the WrestleMania 35 pay-per-view event on Sunday, April 7, 2019 in East Rutherford, NJ at MetLife Stadium that will air on the WWE Network.

In what is being hailed as one of the best WWE segments in ages, police officers were hit, car windows were smashed, and all 3 Superstars were put in handcuffs and arrested.

Rousey is the first of the 3 to comment on what happened last night. The RAW Women’s Champion wasted little time publishing her mug shot.

As of this writing, neither Becky nor Charlotte have posted on social media following their arrests during RAW.

Ronda Rousey, Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair Melee

Last night’s segment featuring Rousey, Lynch, and Flair is being praised by several wrestling personalities. The 3 teamed together against the Riott Squad and were not allowed to betray their partners until the match was over or else lose their spot in Sunday’s main event.

After she made Liv Morgan tap to an armbar, Rousey promptly punched Charlotte Flair in the face as soon as the bell rang to end the match. Security and police were called in to separate them but that proved to be a difficult task.

Big E made a request of the media when covering these events:

During the interview, she was asked about how she found out that she would be apart of a historic match at the biggest event of the year for WWE, WrestleMania 35.

“Vince told us, all three, personally, just how proud he was and congratulations, and that we earned it. Coming from the boss, it just meant so much. He is trusting us with his biggest show of the year, and his belief in us is what means so much.”

She added that she didn’t know if they were going to be the main event as she had hoped so and that if they were going to be the main event then why hasn’t it been announced yet. She brought up there are other matches being announced as the main event which is is why she as still a little surprised when got the call.
